Three days later
By the time we got back to Hills Village, no one knew quite what to do. The journey home had taken all night, so everyone was dog-tired, and we had no idea when our pet humans would be back from Hollywood.
So…
I invited everyone to stay at the Catch-A-Doggy-Bone kennel.
There’s a loose board in the fence around the backyard and it didn’t take much effort to scramble through the doggy door into the Food Room and get the whole place unlocked for my new guests.
Mom-Lady, Ruff, and Jawjaw are going to be SO happy to see me and all my new mutt-mates. We’ve made sure the kennel is looking extra-poochified for their return.
Agh! I think I can hear them at the front door now! HERE WE GO!
Ha! What did I tell you?
Who needs a vacation when you have your own bark-tastically decorated kennel full of all your best mutt-mates and pet humans?!
It’s a pooch paradise! Looks like I got my mutt-mansion after all…
