  The investigation into this and where she was found lead back to Trin’s second den. Even the den that was destroyed is being looked at, Trin’s scent is recent there, so excavation and a search is being done. Cleo’s scent was there too, but not as strong and from what Zed said something was wrong with her scent. Almost like she’s dying, which could be possible since she was helping Trin. He maybe stealing her powers now that he no longer has Manon’s. Thor and Geo are on the hunt too, this gargoyle is their mate. Thor was hurt because whatever happened was during the day. Mic is in intensive care, he almost died with whatever happened.

  “Hey Tenelle, are you able to sit with the new gargoyle. If she wakes up, let us know immediately ok?” Surrey mind-links me.

  “Ok will do.” I send back. With finding out that I am pregnant with our first fledglings, the guys haven’t been letting me do anything. This is worse than Kai, Scott and Onyx were with Nimara. But I don’t have three to argue with, oh no, instead I have four! And none of them ever take my side, although it’s cute because usually Levi is just trying to cause shit and gets himself in trouble. I have been spending lots of time with Hayden, he hasn’t been released yet from the clan hospital just because we don’t want Trin to get a hold of him again.

  I am deep in thought while walking to our new visitor’s room. Geo got in touch with Queen Emily, and she gave us as much information as she could. Ella, the young gargoyle, is an earth gargoyle, which accounts for the different skin color. She also said that Ella’s task is to close the storage dens. So that explains the den she was outside of when she was found, there must have been a fight while she was closing it down. Leading to Thor and Mic getting hurt at the same time. Being deep in thought, I didn’t see the person walking towards me and I bump into them as I get closer to her room. When I turn to apologize, I don’t recognize the person. It sets off alarm bells in my head and I send out a clan wide mind-link. Within seconds, Tank and Tania are by my side and have the person in their hands. She struggles until a familiar voice catches her attention.

  “Cleo, you’re looking like shit. Geo and Thor are going to have fun destroying your mind or what is left of it.” Zed says walking out from a room with the lights off.

  “So your Cleo? What did you do to Ella? You’re coming from her room!” I say narrowing my eyes at her.

  “Wouldn’t you like to know!” Cleo hissed.

  “Wrong answer!” I say shifting into her and making her scream immediately when I rip the stars from her sky map. I hear her scream more as I start to absorb the sky in her dream as well. For anyone that is part of the dream realm this is pure pain, to have their connection and power taken.

  “Well, then what did you do to Ella?” I hear Zed ask. I soon see a two figures walking towards me, one is shorter and slender but still well built. While the other is huge and built like Nazareth, broad and solid.

  “Geo. Thor. It’s nice to see you. Want to play? Cleo just came from Ella’s room.” I tell them and that is all that it takes. They start to go into other areas of her mind and her screams can be heard even here. I continue to absorb her powers until Zed comes in smiling and pull us all out.

  “Start talking Cleo or I let them back in.” Zed tell her.

  “Trin wants her to claim him, he lost his power to dream walk, but he’s not sure how. He thought that if he couldn’t get to Chaos directly he would do it through one of the unclaimed children.” Cleo says and the look on Geo and Thor says she is dead when she finished talking.

  “Wow. He’s a fucking idiot!” I say causing everyone to look at me. “He can’t get to Chaos anymore. His powers are here on earth, and you are looking at part of it.” I say.

  “What do you mean, he is to stay in the stars! This is bad if his power isn’t there.” Tania says looking worried.

  “Tania, I am part of his power. Along with Nimara and the other five children. He is helping create the new powers to rule over the supernatural realms.” I say looking at her.

  “Shit! That’s why you can hurt someone through their dreams! The new gifts and powers of the new gods is a gift caused by having his power.” Zed says with astonishment.

  “Exactly.” I say smiling at Zed, “I went to speak to him, I know where he was placed. When I got there, only a small amount of his soul was left. He told me everything, it was his last wish that things start to balance. He could see the result of people seeking absolute power like he did. Spending the better part of eternity watching others do the same thing and fucking up, can change even a monster like Chaos.” I say.

  “So instead of worrying about him getting to Chaos, we should be worrying about you and Nimara. If Trin claims either of you …” I cut Tania off by holding up my hand.

  “He can’t claim us. Even in killing our mates now. That will just send their immortal soul to the heavens and cause us to ascend. Ella is one of the other children, isn’t she Cleo?” I ask turning back to our intruder.

  “I am not sure; we don’t know who her family is. She is the only earth gargoyle to exists in the last hundred years, so he is assuming she is. I was to get into her dreams and trick her into claiming Trin, but she has a mark that’s preventing it.” Cleo says looking scared. She’s at the end of her rope; she stays her and is killed for her actions. She goes back to Trin to tell him what happened, and she’s still dead.

  “I figured he would try this, I put a temporary mate mark on her before Trin shifted into Mic and caused him to attack us at his second den. That is why Mic is in bad shape. Trin was able to get in and use him to hurt Ella. The only thing I could do was hurt Mic to get Trin out, but Mic trapped Trin inside his mind instead. He is taking a beating right now; he needs help, or he isn’t going to live much longer.” Thor says looking hurt that his friend is going through this.

  “Thor, you’re amazing! Go back to Ella, both you and Geo shift into her dreams and don’t come out! Even at dawn, stay in her dreams. I know how to end this.” I say, the look on my face must be scary because even Tank has backed up from me.

  “Mitchel, Enox, Nazareth and Levi, meet me in Mic’s hospital room. We have a little black lizard to put on the barbie!” I mind-link my guys and they all laugh.

  “On our way little owl!” Nazareth sends back.

  “Tank adapt Nimara’s “cleaner” and use it on this little bitch! Morpheus will be here to collect her gifts. He isn’t giving her the honor of resting with her kin. You fucked up bad Cleo, Hades is your final destination.” I say looking at her terror filled face. Tank is glowing in excitement; he gets to play mad scientist to figure out what will work best to melt her. We split up, Geo and Thor took off like bats out of hell towards Ella’s room. Tank, Zed and Tania took Cleo to the interrogation rooms and I ran upstairs to Mic’s room. I arrive just as the guys did and we get to work.

  “Ok so what is going on?” Levi asks looking at me.

  “Trin somehow got into Mic and was the one that attacked the new female gargoyle. Her name is Ella too by the way, Geo and Thor are her mates. Anyways, Mic has Trin trapped in his mind, but we need to get him out or Mic is going to die. So like I asked when we went to see the Council of the Dream realm. We are going to connect him to me, but we are going to take him somewhere he has no power.” I say looking at my four mates.

  “Where is that?” Enox asks looking confused.

  “To Apollo’s territory. Something I didn’t realize until I spoke to Chaos, Mitchel is not the only Solar Celestial Guard.” I say smiling at Enox, Nazareth and Levi.

  “Hey that’s right! The three of you can shift during the day! With being Celestial guides and guards your powers are night based, you shouldn’t be able too!” Mitchel looks just as excited as he did when Levi told them I was pregnant.

  “Holy shit I never thought about that! The pack is like that too! I have seen other Celestial wolf guards and they can only shift during the night!” Levi says looking at his brother.

  “Holy fuck, that is awesome! Let’s kill this little bitch to save
Mic and the world!” Nazareth says with a smirk. We stand the same way we did when connecting to Mitchel’s memories. Creating the five points of Polaris, when we get into Mic’s mind we see him on the ground with a black dragon attacking him. I run at him and soon two large wolves come up one each side of me, a dragon and wizard fly overhead. We all tackle Trin at the same time and immediately taken to where I wanted to go.

  “Aahh! How the fuck did you do that?” Trin screams now in his human body. A forced shift is even more painful than shifting for the first time.

  “I think your concern should be whether or not you’re going to live.” Apollo says coming in from behind me, “Good thinking little cousin, I would have never thought to bring him here. But how are your mates still in their forms? They are Celestial Guards; Mitchel is the only Solar Celestial Guard.” Apollo asks.

  “That is actually where you are wrong. With each time Mitchel was reborn, he had children of his own and brothers or sisters. It was dormant though and Mitchel was the only one with active powers. Each of them went and passed the powers onto their children and so forth. Enox, Nazareth and Levi are descendants of the original families that this gift was give too, and it’s with the new gods that they are now needed.” I say to Apollo. I turn my attention back to Trin and see him trying to find a weak spot.

  “Without even realizing it, we created another powerful bloodline. We will have to investigate this further after we deal with this waste of flesh.” Apollo says looking from me to Trin.

  “Their power is nothing compared to mine once I take the power of Chaos out of the heavens! You will all bow to me and I will force you to be my Queen!” Trin yells at us, causing the guys and Apollo to growl at him. Trin laughs like maniac, he has totally lost his mind.

  “You hadn’t even noticed, I had two new mate marks appear on my body when you had me prisoner in your den. Even though Mitchel’s disappeared, you aren’t a Solar Celestial, therefore your mark would never stay. So you also know, you would never get the power of Chaos. His power is no longer in the heavens and hasn’t been for a good 150 years. He has already granted it to others.” I say causing Apollo to look at me with surprise.

  “Impossible! I know his power still lives in his soul! You will wear my mark, and it will stay! You are bound to me whether you like it or not!” Trin yells and runs at me. I sidestep his attack and shift into his mind.

  “Chaos granted his powers to the children of the gods! You were chasing pipedreams, and now have sentenced yourself to death. You will never hurt anyone again. By the way, Manon say hi and to rot in hell!” I say as I engulf his mind in nothing but nightmares. I shift out as he lays on the ground screaming and holding his head. Even I can’t handle what I have sent into his mind. Horrific scenes from when Chaos was unleashed on the world of man and gods. Trin is living out each nightmare from within another person’s head, but it feels like it is happening to him. I get a sudden pain, while watching over the destruction of Trin’s mind. I look to see that Enox’s dragon is laying on the ground and Trin’s dragon is over top of him in a massive form.

  “I told you, you would be mine!” The black dragon says as he starts to move towards Nazareth.

  “We need to help them!” Apollo says and I grab his arm. He looks at me confused, “Tenelle, he is killing your mates. We need to save them.”

  “No Apollo, he is making this harder for himself. What is left for me to do to properly claim my birthright?” I say looking at Apollo with a smile.

  “You need to be on the brink of death and connect to your mates like Nimara did.” Apollo’s eyes grow with realization. Another sharp pain rips through me and this time, it puts me on my knees. I look over to see both Dusk and Haze bleeding out on the ground. Just as the black dragon comes to me, Mitchel steps in front and takes the hit. The pain from having my mates hurt, caused blackness to engulf my vision. Moments later, I am surrounded by the four guys and many more including Nazareth and Levi’s wolf pack. They all look shocked, as I smile.

  “I love you Enox, Nazareth, Levi and Mitchel. This is my gift to the four of you, to our pack and to our bloodline.” I say looking at each of the guys when I say their names.

  “What do you mean?” Levi asks looking scared.

  “Snow it is time.” I call to my owl half. There is a bright light and then Snow comes up beside me.

  “It is an honor to be your animal spirit Tenelle. Now, like Nimue and Amara we are to become one. I love you my little chick!” Snow says and does a soft screeching sound. I give my owl one last hug, before beginning to the bonding ritual. With tears, I look to the guys, I hope they too have given their respect and love to their animal spirits. With a nod from those who I can see, I start the ritual.

  “We are of one heart, soul, mind, body and spirit.” I shout so all can hear me.

  “Again.” Snow screeches.

  “We are of one heart, soul, mind, body and spirit.” I say and this time I can hear many voices join me, including my mates.

  “Again!” Enox roars, the bonding between him and his dragon is amazing to watch. There’s a shower of falling stars that appears when he shifts between his human form and his dragon form. He became stronger, broader, and more solid in both too. His human side was muscular before, with bonding completely to his dragon, he has doubled in mass. He still looks amazing, and his dragon has doubled in size.

  “We are of one heart, soul, mind, body and spirit.” We all say in unison and I hear howls, roars, and cries as those with the Solar Celestial bloodline start to bond with their other side.

  “Again!” Nazareth and Levi howl, and again we repeat the verse. Both Alphas take the same route as Enox. Their wolves have become almost ten feet in height, they look massive and powerful. Even with their shifting between wolf and human, there is a shower of falling stars. The boys were already tall, broad, and solid. I can’t see anything different with their human side, but I am sure there are changes.

  “We are of one heart, soul, mind, body and spirit.” We say and now the cries of pain have died, as many of the others have fully bonded with their animals and magic as one being.

  “Again.” Mitchel whispers bringing Enox, Nazareth and Levi to me. My four mates have encircled me, and we finish the ritual.

  “We are of one heart, soul, mind, body and spirit.” The five of us say, the sudden release of energy literally shakes heaven and earth. I am getting bombarded through mind-link from the clan members, Nimara and Hecate. When I open my eyes we are back in Apollo’s territory and Trin’s human side has been ripped to shreds.

  “I don’t know where his dragon went, but as I was watching over the five of you, he did that to his human side. His dragon has gone completely dark.” Apollo says with a grave look on his face.

  “Tenelle! We need you! Trin’s dragon is here, he is huge and attacking the clan!” Hecate mind-links me.

  “Coming Hecate!” I send back. “Trin’s dragon is attacking Silver Shadow, we need to go now and call everyone! We are all needed, he has gone rogue.” I say looking at my mates. Suddenly two chariots come up, one is led by sun flamed horses, and the other drawn by star dust owls.

  “Goddess.” Watson says bowing and his hand raised to help me onto my chariot. Nadia is holding the reins. Once I am positioned properly, Watson takes his place behind me and Nadia sends the owls into flight. I watch as a flaming bridge is created, my mates and pack are running down towards the mortal plain to help kill a dragon.

  Chapter 15

  ~ Tenelle ~

  The sight we come into is horrific, gargoyles are taking to the air, while the grounders have treble hooks and latching on to the dragon to keep his wings down. There are bodies all over, some are moving quickly, and others are laying still. I can smell the metallic scent of blood and realize some may not live after this. We were lucky during the attack with Tim and Alpha Nicholas, this time we may not be. There are dens that have been completely demolished, because of that I call for Jade and the Shadow Bright clan.<

  “Yes goddess, what task do you request of us?” Jade says fluttering alongside me.

  “Jade please have the Shadow Bright clan search the ruined dens for survivors. Do it in pairs so one can stay with anyone they find and the other can go for help. Go in groups of 3 and 4 if you need too. Please keep everyone safe and yourselves included.” I say giving the little bright my request.

  “Yes goddess, we will be careful!” Jade says, she veers off to the right and I see a mass of small lights follow her. All the fireflies in the area, weren’t actual fireflies they were the Shadow Brights. I watch as I see children run to a spot and the emergency cavern opens up and closes just as quick with them in it.

  “Where did those children disappear too?” Watson asks with worry.

  “During the attack from Alpha Nicholas and Alpha Tim, we trained with spellbound caverns. It will take the occupants out to our allies and they will get medical attention until they can come home. It was Onyx and Hecate that put them in place.” I answer him with just as much worry. I see a number of grounders go flying through the air as Trin has overpowered their hold, just as they do, they are caught and put back to earth by dragons and angels. I am surprised to see the angels here; they usually keep to themselves because they are that of the human god’s children. They are usually busy fighting off demons and Lucifer, the human’s King of demons.

  “Apollo, what are the Angels doing here?” I ask him with my eyebrows furrowed together.

  “The Angels and Demons are here to help. Apparently if Trin is successful, then it will affect the humans as well. It would be worse than the devil coming up from hell. A demon told me that even Lucifer didn’t want Trin to get his hands on the power of Chaos. It would end the world for us and them also. He said this is the one time Lucifer and God actually agreed on something.” Apollo tells me and that has me even more worried.
