How to Bury Your Brother

Page 31

by Lindsey Rogers Cook

This book is written in memory of the boy who read the encyclopedias front to back, and of the 130 Americans who die each day from the opioid epidemic. To all the families impacted by this crisis, my heart goes out to you.

Thanks most of all to my husband, Kevin Sipe. For spending many weekends and late nights working together at the George Washington Law Library, for your unwavering (and seemingly delusional) confidence in me and my writing abilities, for treating this book like it was more than a passing hobby from its first word, and for everything you do to make my writing possible. Thanks for building this crazy life with me. There’s not a thing I would change.
