Three Wishes

Lifting the glass of orange juice, she took a sip before speaking. “It smells good.”

The meek tone of her voice stopped him. Turning off the stove, he picked up the skillet with breakfast sausage sizzling inside, slammed it on the burner that hadn’t been used. “Is there a reason you’re sitting over there, speaking to me as if you no longer know who I am?” Seeing her jump at his loud words, he turned his head away and took some deep breaths. He needed to calm down.

The fire seemed to come back in her eyes. “Don’t you yell at me, Jordan Hunt. How the hell am I supposed to act? I don’t know what’s happening here and I’m a little…unsure. Okay? Is that fine with you? You act like we do this all the time. I don’t sleep around, you know. And the first guy I’ve been intimate with, in more than three years mind you, just so happens to be my best friend. How am I supposed to process that? And last night, at the lounge? What was that? I just…”

“Last night was exactly what I said it was. There was no way in hell I was going to sit there and let you flirt with another man. There are certain things I was willing to put up with when we first met each other, but not anymore,” he slashed his hand in the air. “The next time you want a night on the town, you’ll damn well be with me. And you’re never wearing that dress again. Want to know how I know?” He placed both hands flat on the marble breakfast nook.

“Yeah, because you burned my fucking dress last night,” she accused loudly. Hopping off the chair, she ran back to his room to look for something else to wear. He could hear the opening and closing of his dresser drawers.

What he’d done was really shitty, but he didn’t regret it. He’d buy her another damn dress if she wanted him to. He never wanted to lay eyes on the one she’d worn out last night. Even after spending the entire night inside her, forcing her to moan and scream his name all night, he was still pissed that she’d gone out on her own like that.

Leaning back against the counter, he sipped his cup of coffee as he waited for her to return. He was glad the dress was now a burned pile of garbage. Literally. Knowing he might need it, he’d kept the garment near him on one of the dining room in a trash bag. Still half asleep, Leticia had missed it when she first walked in. Barreling back into the room, her eyes were filled with fire.

“Where’s my damn dress? Is there any of it left?”

“You really want a burned piece of cloth?” At her nod, he lifted his chin, “It’s on the chair.”

Her eyes widened when she grabbed up the bag. “I cannot believe I let you…God, you’re such an asshole!” Lips thinned in anger, she balled up the bag filled with her ruined dress in her small hands and threw it at his face.

Reaching his hand up, he easily caught it. “It’s not nice to throw things.”

“It’s not nice?” her voice had risen an octave. “You ruined my dress? And for what? Because I went out with my friend? You know, the friend who hasn’t ignored me for an entire week. But because you get a burr up your ass, you ruin my dress.” Throwing her hands in the air, she began mumbling to herself as she paced the length of his dining room.

He continued drinking his coffee while admiring her beautiful legs. Memories of last night, her limbs resting on his shoulders as he tasted her for the first time rushed through his mind. Once they got through this little moment, he’d make sure to get another taste. It was only Saturday, and she was off for the next two days. Oh, the things he planned to do with her this weekend. His hand reached down to cover his arousal. Just as he was about to suggest they go back upstairs and have some fun in his large shower, she turned to him.

“Wait a minute. Why were you there last night?” Tapping her foot, her hands rested on her hips as she stared at him. “Who were you with last night?” She began walking towards him. “You hadn’t seen me in over a week. Don’t even bring up the text messages, because you and I both know those are a sorry ass replacement. I’ve been thinking. Were you trying to avoid me this past week?”

He said nothing. Any answer he gave would only dig a deeper hole for himself. His well-thought-out plan had gone to hell in a handbasket. Maybe this was proof that it hadn’t so good in the first place. Sighing deeply, he continued staring at Leticia as she stood in front of him. Hurt was plastered all over her face. He knew he had to say something.

  “Let me explain,” he began.

“Explain? Explain what part exactly? Avoiding me? Or why you were at the lounge last night? You seem to think you can question everything I do. Where I’m at. Who I talk to. What I can wear?”

It was a stupid thought to have, but as he looked at her with the Christmas decorations displayed behind her, standing in his home after being so well-fucked, he knew he wanted to have this every day. Well, not the part with her yelling at him. But the part where she was in his home, with him, just leaving their bed after a night of being well-loved. She may not want to hear it right now, but this is what he wanted. What he’d always wanted. With her.

Pushing away from the kitchen counter, he walked over to her. Grabbing her face in his hands, he leaned down to kiss her softly. Rubbing his tongue along her bottom lip, he pressed his lower body into her. She reached up, wrapping her hands around his forearms. A slight moan released from her mouth when he nipped her bottom lip with his teeth.

“I’ve wanted you ever since we met. You never believed I could be a one-woman man, so I gave you time. I thought I was doing the right thing. I was wrong. Seeing you out last night,” he paused to get his bearings, “it flipped a switch. Seeing you talking and laughing with that guy,” he paused, unable to continue. His blue eyes captured hers. “Leticia, no man should be touching you, making you laugh, or being the one standing by your side if it’s not me.”

  RM

Leticia couldn’t believe her ears. By the look on Jordan’s face, he meant every word he was saying to her. She wanted to believe him, but she also knew the kind of attention he garnered from other women. Sure, there had been some initial attraction between them when they’d first met—actually, she’d been ready to drop her panties if he’d only asked. “Jordan, you’re not the jealous type.”

“How do you know?” he’d maneuvered them over to the couch. Once he sat down, he positioned her on his lap, both her legs on one side. One hand rested on her lower back, the other on her right thigh.

“Because you’ve never been jealous before. We’ve spent almost every day together for two years. Nothing ever gets to you. Other than work. You’re always so calm and collected. I was beginning to wonder if you cared about anything?”

“Oh, I care. Too fucking much actually. Do you know how hard it’s been to let you set the pace for our relationship?”

Frowning at his comment, she pulled back to stare down at him. “What are you talking about? No, I didn’t. You did that. Plus, you flaunted all your little hussies in my face. I wasn’t going to run after you and beg you. I figured you wanted to only be friends. So that’s what I gave you.” Sitting on his lap felt good. They’d snuggled on the couch, they’d even fallen asleep in the same bed. And last night…well, that was an experience all on its own. But sitting like this, with him cradling her in his arms, this felt nice.

At a tingling sensation on her leg, she looked down to see his thumb tracing a pattern on her bare skin. Desire filled her as she realized her bare ass was sitting on his thickening cock. He must have known it as well because the hand on her back began moving in lazy circle patterns. His long, thick fingers were touching the area where her panty line would be if she were wearing any.

“I never wanted to be friends with you, Leticia. From the moment I saw you, all I wanted to do was to sink inside your body. Take you repeatedly. Stamp my name on your pussy and claim you for mine. But I knew you needed time to understand that I was real. To know that I wasn’t going anywhere.” His hand reached up, grabbing her around the neck, pulling her face down to his for a sensual kiss.

His tongue penetrated her mouth as he shifted positions. She lifted one leg ov
er his lap. Her wet folds rested over the thick bulge in his sweatpants. Wetness seeped from her body as he pressed her tighter to his erection. Moans and grunts fell from both their mouths as passion overtook them, the need to get closer pressed harder on them. Sensitive from all the sex they’d engaged in last night, her nipples pebbled, aching for some type of relief. The more they kissed, the wetter she got. One of his hands traveled from her bare leg to her bare mound. Once his fingers touched her slick pussy, she gasped, breaking free from the kiss. Harsh breathing filled the room as he rubbed one finger up and down her slit.

“Damn, baby. You’re so fucking wet for me. I need you again,” his voice was filled with something raw. Dark. Gritty.

Leticia pulled back to look at his face. What she saw in his eyes made her heart stutter. Need. Hunger. Lust. And something more that she still wasn’t prepared to dissect. Denial wasn’t just a river in Africa. If she went down this road with him, accepting everything the look in his eyes promised, there would be no turning back. Their friendship would change in ways she didn’t want to think about. And what if things didn’t work out between them.

Was she willing to risk it all just to have him in her bed for one night? Although, with how good he felt inside her, maybe it would be more than one night. As his soft lips placed kisses along her neck and collarbone, she moaned in ecstasy, her hips moving against his hard dick as she tried to relieve the need for him that coursed through her body. Could she go into this with no expectations? No hang-ups? And could she walk away from him when the time came? She knew the answer to all those questions, but right now, the only thing she cared about was how fast she could get him inside her.

“Then take me,” she challenged, her lips lifting slightly as she cradled his face in her hands, initiating their kiss this time. A moan escaped his mouth just before he grabbed her around the waist, bringing her body tight against his.

“Hang on,” he said against her lips as he lifted her up even higher. His other hand went to the waistband of his sweats, pushing the material down his hips, releasing his hot flesh. It slapped against her ass as it sprang up from his pants. She moaned in response. Jordan smiled. “Don’t worry, that will come later. I can guarantee you that.” Once his sweats were at his knees, he returned his hands to her waist, positioning her over his thick member. She tried to force the issue and press down on him, trying to force him to speed up, but he wasn’t having any of it. “Look at me, baby.”

Rolling her eyes, she looked at him. “Why are you going so slow?”

Tilting his hips up, the tip of his cock breached her pussy. “Because I want to savor you. This weekend is all about us spending time getting used to our new dynamic.” He pressed another inch inside her, the sensation causing Leticia’s eyes to close. “Open your eyes,” he demanded.

  She did.

“I want to know every inch of your body. What makes you laugh. The spots on your body that make you hot. Every moan, whimper, and scream that I force from you this weekend will tell me a story.”

Another inch slid in wrenching a moan from her body. She started to shake and quiver as he remained still.

“When Sunday comes, there won’t be anything about you that I don’t know. And the same goes for you. I want you to know the real me. If it takes more than this weekend, so be it.”

Unable to stop the motion, her hips began to move from front to back. This was torture, and he knew it. His hands gripped her hard enough to leave marks on her skin. She was about to beg, when he lifted his face to her, “Kiss me.”

Just as she leaned her head down, he surged inside of her. Her mouth opened on a loud gasp just as Jordan’s lips closed over hers.

His hips moved at a rapid pace, she could only hold on for the ride. In this position, he hit every inch of her channel, his cock filling her up so good. She felt him in her stomach. His dick was just that deep. One hand reached up to her hair, grabbing the thick strands. Pulling her head to the side, he broke the kiss, his lips blazing a trail down the side of her neck. “I knew you were made for me. Can’t believe I waited this long to claim my pussy. You belong to me, Leticia.”

Slowing the motion of his hips, he began a slow grind that forced her clit to rub against his body, the pressure of it sending jolts of intense pleasure through her body. Her legs lifted so that feet were flat on the couch. Arms wrapped around his neck, she allowed him to control and lead. Her job was to simply enjoy the feelings he invoked, which she did. Body tingling, she knew her orgasm was fast approaching.

  “Say it,” he demanded.

Her mind went blank. What did he want her to say? That his dick was the best in the fucking world? That her pussy was never going to be the same now that he’d shown her what he was capable of? Or maybe that she wanted this to never end, that she never wanted to let him go?

“Leticia, tell me who you belong to,” he growled, accompanying his words with a hard thrust and grind.

“Ahhh,” she yelled. “You. Jordan,” she whimpered as her head rolled back. “I belong to you.”

“Damn right you do,” he responded, grabbing her body close to his. His powerful thrusts making her scream out in pleasure as her wetness flowed from her body, slickening the way for his thick cock.

Fireworks set off behind her closed lids. Her stomach quivered, and her legs shook, squeezing against the sides of his body as he grunted and groaned underneath her. “Come on this dick, baby. Don’t run from it. Give me what I need.”

She’d give him anything he asked for. “Yes! Oh, god. It feels so good. I’m coming, Jordan.” Her breathless tone called out into the silence of the room just before her insides clenched, wetness drenching the steel flesh spearing her body. The spasms of her channel grabbed hold of his dick, and she knew he could feel every quiver and pulse as she fell into the abyss.

“Yeah, baby. That’s it right there. Give me all that good pussy. This is your dick now,” he said with a sigh, giving her a few moments to catch her breath. Grabbing her hair again, he tilted her head down, pressing his lips to hers in a deep kiss.

Instinctively, her eyes opened to look down at him. Gazing at the man she’d loved for so long, she knew this moment changed everything.

Jordan broke the kiss, pulling her head back slightly to look into her eyes. “I’ve wanted you for so long.” He gave her a wicked grin. “You’ve had your fun. Now it’s my turn.”

  CHAPTER NINE

  December 15th

“WHY ARE YOU walking so funny?”

Turning to glare at her friend, Leticia grabbed her arm, taking them down a quiet corridor in the hospital. “Will you lower your damn voice?”

Cassie tried to look innocent, but it wasn’t working. “I have no idea what you’re talking about?” She shrugged her shoulders. “I noticed my bestie walking funny and was concerned. Maybe you’d been in an accident. You know, slipped and fell on a big ass dick!” Her laughter rang out at her own joke. Bent over and holding her stomach, Cassie laughed until tears fell from her eyes.

Leaning against the wall, Leticia rolled her eyes. “How old are you? Stop acting a damn fool. Plus, we’re at work. I’m not telling you shit.”

Drying her eyes, Cassie stood as well, “Oh come on. You gotta give me something. Jordan went all caveman on you. In public, no less. I’ve never seen him do that before. And your thirsty ass did exactly what he said. You ran your ass outta that bar as soon as he said move.” Crossing her arms over her nursing scrubs, Cass gave her the eye. The one reserved for friends who knew your deepest darkest secrets yet didn’t judge you for them.

“Honestly, I don’t even know what happened.” Sighing, she turned until her back was flush with the wall, her head tilted back. “That’s a lie. Yes, I do.” Lifting her gaze to her friend, her lips lifted at the corners. “I spent the entire weekend with him.” She cringed at the look on her friend’s face. “Stupid, right?”

Shaking her head, Cass walked over to her, grabbing her hands. “No, not stupid at all.” Tak
ing a deep breath, her tone was much softer and less shocked as she spoke again. “How long have we known each other?”

Not sure where this was going, she answered, “Three years.”

“And in all that time, I’ve never seen you react to someone the way you reacted to Jordan when you met him. He was all you talked about. Jordan this. Jordan that. Your world changed after you met him. No longer were you the single woman who focused too much on work and not enough on her personal life.” Moving to stand next to her, Cass struck the same position as Leticia. Anyone walking by would see two trauma nurses taking advantage of the lull in patients coming through the hospital doors.

“Girl, that man brought out things in you I’d never seen before. The smile on your face was bigger. Your laughter was louder. The glow in your eyes was brighter. But, I also remember the nights we sat together as you shared your heartbreak when you thought he was moving on to other women. That he didn’t see you.” Sighing, she glanced at friend and saw the sadness in her eyes, “Cried your eyes out when you realized you’d fallen in love with him. Now you tell me you spent the entire weekend together. And from the way you’re walking so gingerly, he put it down extremely well.” Holding up her hands as Leticia frowned in her direction, “I’m not asking for details. I mean, if you want to tell me how good he is, I’m willing to listen,” she smiled cheekily.
