Honestly, I didn’t expect to hear a reply but she was quite a stubborn girl and she replied.

“Husband, my mother and the sect is forcing me to marry a guy from the Dark Wood Sect in six months. I won’t marry anyone else but you!”

When I read that, I was stunned. If You Ye’s sect was willing to marry her away, it seemed that some big changes happened to the South Country. I was also enraged. You Ye and I had been through a lot and I knew her personality well. She would start a blood bath even if she had to sacrifice her life—she was crazy and I loved her for that. After all, she boldly stole my first kiss.

After a long night of partying with the Second Princess, we decided to plant the Death Soul Seal on her. Even though the seal could force people against their will and I could control their life and death, someone as dedicated as the Second Princess would not undergo changes because of it. Also, she and I felt more at ease because with my seal, she could communicate with me and I with her. Being able to sense if she was in danger was part of the seal.

When the Death Core evolved last time, the Death Soul Seal also improved. It worked like a huge network of information. Any people planted with the seal could talk among each other and it also worked with the Death Corps. Thanks to this, the Second Princess would be safer.

I didn’t get involved much with the royal house and remained hidden in the Dragon Palace. Hai San had been managing everything, growing his reputation and expanding the royal house. I was quite pleased. Perhaps, it couldn’t rival the four sects in the West Country at the moment, but the Dragon Palace was starting to show its greatness with the expansion of the Dragon Clan. Long Shan was quite happy about that.

Since I had been with Second Princess and Long Shan a lot these last two months, Shu Yi and Shu Er didn’t get much attention. Those two girls didn’t mind at all or they just made up excuses. However, both girls had my seal on them so I knew their feelings well, I just played along with their wishes. They were truly two awesome women. I felt blessed by having them all.

Long Shan and I agreed that she would remain in my inner world while I travelled to the South Country with Shu Yi and Shu Er. This happened to help Long Shan understand her powers since she didn’t have the hang of her new powers after the transformation.

I summoned Shu Yi and Shu Er outside of the gates of the Imperial City. I fiercely kissed and embraced both of them.

“Let’s go. It’s time for us to conquer the South Country.”
