Mostly, he knew, it was Soleil and what she gave him. She made him know she was his and that he mattered. What he needed or wanted mattered to her. As much as Ice had known about fucking and was an expert in ways to give pleasure, or take it, Soleil had brought the one thing to him he’d been missing.

His balls drew tighter and tighter. It was rising, that terrible, brutal release that was going to kill him but also take him somewhere out in the universe where nothing could touch him. He jerked her hips to his, feeling her sheath bite down hard, pulsing with energy, pulsing with life, muscles working like fingers to milk his seed from his body.

She cried out, something he couldn’t hear because the roaring in his ears prevented any sound from entering. He could only yell hoarsely as she ripped the seed from him. He exploded, there was no other word for it, his body jerking violently in hers, splashing hot semen on the walls of her sheath, triggering another massive orgasm in her.

He collapsed over top of her, smashing her under him, unable to think. He felt as if he were floating in space, the stars flickering around him, while behind his eyes colors burst like rockets. He never wanted to move. Or think. He lay there, panting, his lungs bursting for air. Raw. Real. Perfection.

“Ice.” Soleil wailed his name. “You have to turn them off.”

Shit. The vibrators. He couldn’t remember what he’d done with the remote. He couldn’t move. Not even to roll off of her. Besides, he liked being buried in that snug tunnel. He rubbed her bottom and then forced his eyes to work, peering around on the ground. He caught up the small remote that Mechanic had programmed for him and hit the universal off button. Her hips had been frantically bucking but once he had them off, she lay quietly under him, her breathing ragged, almost labored.

“Can’t move, princess. I’m going to have to sleep just like this. Can you breathe?” Her face was turned to the side and one eye peered at him. He rubbed her bottom.

“No, but I don’t need air right now.”

Her voice was so soft he could barely hear. He kept rubbing, trying to soothe her. She’d come multiple times. “What do you need, then, baby?”

“Right at the moment, not one little thing. I think I’ll just lie here for the rest of the night.”

They lay quietly together, just trying to find a way to breathe. The night breeze helped to cool the heat and sweat on their bodies. Around them, the music and sounds of conversations and laughter once more began to register. Finally, Ice could actually see straight. He found himself smiling and pressing kisses onto the back of his woman’s shoulder.

“Storm and Transporter were going to grill something for everyone. Fatei brought the side dishes in the RV. Are you hungry?” He kissed the nape of her neck. He really felt a little like an animal. Animals could stay erect, couldn’t they? His fucking cock was still hard. Not like before he’d fucked her. Not when he was pure steel, but the ache was building. Didn’t lions go at it every fifteen minutes or so? Didn’t they stay connected the way he was with Soleil?

“I was hungry for you,” she pouted.

That mouth of hers was making that little moue, the one that gave him all sorts of ideas. He shut it down, looking at the exhaustion on her face. It was just that, this was his absolute nirvana, the place where he could have everything come together in a perfect storm of lust and love. That was what Soleil gave him. Love. That had been the missing ingredient, and shockingly, it worked.

“I’m sorry, baby. I promise I’ll feed you dessert after dinner, but you need to keep your strength up. I’m planning to fuck you until you can’t walk.”

  “I can’t walk now.”

He kissed the nape of her neck again. He wasn’t altogether certain he could walk either.

“Besides, I wouldn’t count on dinner too soon, honey.” She didn’t lift her head, but nodded in the direction she was looking. “I think Storm and Transporter are otherwise occupied.”

Ice turned to look. Storm was on the picnic table with a woman he’d never seen before swallowing him down. She looked as if she was very eager. Storm said something to her and moved his hips aggressively, pushing deeper. Transporter was using another woman, or she was using him. Ice couldn’t tell which, but they both looked happy as he fucked her mouth.

Shit. He shouldn’t have looked. He turned his head away to see that the stranger in the other camp was seated on a ground sheet, stroking his partner’s hair. His gaze kept straying to Soleil. Cold fingers crept down Ice’s spine. It was one thing for the stranger to watch Soleil in the throes of something so sexy as an orgasm, but to keep it up, that was just plain stalker mentality.

For the first time, Ice didn’t like someone else looking that closely at a partner of his. He’d never cared before. Not before, not during and certainly not after. Sometimes he had as many as three woman all over him. He always made it clear it was for a night. That was it. Now, he wanted to tell the man to go fuck himself. If he kept it up, he might lose his life. The urge to get rid of him was fast becoming a need.

There was Fred too. Fred had noted her walking into the bar in her sexy wedding gown, seeing the shadow of her nipples, seeing Ice as he caressed her tit and teased her nipple. He’d never once considered that might be endangering her. Not one time. Now, it was twice. Fred had given her up to killers, and who knew what the creep in the next camp might try?

“Honey, what’s wrong?” Beneath him, Soleil turned her body slightly to push up on one hand so she could look more fully at him. The action revealed far more of her breast.

Ice cursed. “Lie down, baby. Just lie there for a minute.” He waited until she obeyed him, and he rolled off her, clenching his teeth against the waves of pleasure engulfing him as his cock slid out of her. Immediately he pulled a sheet over her body, hiding it from the pervert. The moment he had her covered, the urge to kill faded to a persistent nagging thought at the back of his mind.

“Talk to me, Ice,” Soleil said. “What’s wrong? You were feeling great and then you got tense. I could feel your entire body go stiff.”

“Nothing, princess. Sometimes I think shit up just to make myself crazy. It happens.”

“Do you want me to start the grill? I looked at it when we chose this site. It’s quite big enough to cook most of the meat at the same time, and it was surprisingly clean. I can scrub it down fast and get moving on that. Alena might help me.”

He’d forgotten that Pierce was there and might come looking for his sister. He sat up abruptly and looked around. She was nowhere in sight. They stuck together, no one going without a partner anywhere in the camps. They were always careful. They often had a third person shadowing the first two. Just to be safe. They’d learned they were never safe unless they were with one another.

“Come on, honey, please take out the toys you brought so I can get up and cook. In a while everyone’s going to be hungry. Even if Alena isn’t around, I can get started.”

Soleil’s soft voice was a clear breath of fresh air, blowing away the last of his anger. He took a deep breath and let it out. She silenced monsters. She did it with her body. She did it with her voice. Mostly she was able to drive the monsters and the nightmares far away and replace them with happiness because she loved him.

He took another breath and looked around the campsite. Alena was missing, but so were Savage and Maestro. He should have known they were looking out for her. He hadn’t thought about anything but the way Soleil made him feel.

“All right, baby, I’m removing the little button. Are you supersensitive?”

“Yes.” She gave a little shiver as he reached around and tugged it loose. She gasped and clenched her ass cheeks. “Very sensitive.”

“You’ll feel my mouth tonight,” he said. He smacked her ass. “I’m leaving that one in. It acts like a plug.”

“You are not leaving it in.” She sounded shocked.

He grinned at her. Because s
he was always so willing to give him whatever he wanted, or try anything he suggested, he kept forgetting she didn’t have the experience he did. He kept the sheet over her, reluctant to expose her any further to any other man’s gaze. It was a strange feeling to be protective of her body when he’d never considered that to be an issue with him, but he detested that his need to play the way he liked might have put her in danger.

“Roll over, baby, but stay under the sheet. I’m getting your clothes for you. You can pull your jeans on right there.” He handed her his shirt. She could put on her sexy tank in the morning, but tonight, he was going to make certain he didn’t have to kill someone when he’d been the one to provoke the man in the first place.

He’d never thought much about what kind of feelings exposing the beauty of his woman when she was in the throes of ecstasy would bring out in another man or if that might set up some kind of obsession with her. He might have put her in danger. That didn’t sit well with him either. Ice let his gaze slide toward the other camp. The man was still staring at Soleil. He didn’t seem to notice Ice watching him. Yeah, he should have been more careful.

He certainly had put her right in Fred’s path. He had never considered that another club would sell his woman to killers. She was wild. Sexy. She liked exposing her body. She didn’t mind getting on her knees for him anywhere or letting him fuck her where he wanted. He was going to have to be the one to learn a little control in order to protect her better—and that was laughable.

“I don’t want you going anywhere without an escort. I need to know where you are at all times,” he said uneasily.

She dragged her jeans up her legs and over her hips, lifting to pull them over her bottom. She gave him a small smile. “Honey, you’ve laid down the rules. I’m not going to do anything that would upset you. This isn’t an environment I’m familiar with, so I’ll follow your instructions to the letter.”

She tossed the sheet to one side and stood up, looking toward the grill. “Come help me clean it and get the fire going.”

He was right behind her, matching her pace, his hand cradling her bottom possessively. His thumb slid over the rounded curve, and he couldn’t help but glance over to the other camp. The man was still staring at Soleil, watching her walking over to the grill. Shit. Now what? The grill was close to the edge of the two campsites’ borders. Instead of making her safe, he was putting her in more danger by allowing her to be that close to the neighboring camp.

The club was called Twisted Steel. They tried to come off like badasses, the worst kind of club. The larger legitimately badass clubs looked down on them, so they were always trying to prove themselves. They wore the 1-percenter patch to indicate to the world they were outlaws and followed their own rules. That wasn’t smart of Twisted Steel; if they started something, the other clubs would eat them alive.

  Ice cursed under his breath.

Soleil reacted immediately. “What is wrong? You have to tell me. I mean it, Ice. If I was upset about something, you’d insist on me telling you. We’re supposed to be in this together. Did I do something wrong?”

Now she sounded hurt. He slung his arm around her neck and pulled her in close to him. “No, princess, this was all me. I like sex the way we just had it. It makes me as hard as fuck, but I didn’t think about the repercussions. From now on, we’re saving that experience for times I know the others are around us and can control the environment and the aftermath better. I just don’t want anyone fixating on you.”

Her eyes searched his and then she smiled, righting his world. “I think I’m desperately in love with you, Ice. That fall is longer and deeper than I ever imagined.”

“I don’t know what I did to deserve you, but I’ll take it.”

Together they scrubbed the grill. Ice kept his body between Soleil and the other campsite as best he could. He ignored the other camp, although he was always aware of it. Still, she pushed the sights and sounds far away with her soft, intimate laughter and the way her eyes danced when she looked at him or talked to him.

She still had that soft look, eyes only for him, never straying to look at any other man. He knew, because he watched her carefully. Twice when she wasn’t expecting it, he turned on the vibrator and she yelped and jumped. He grinned at her when she glared at him. Playing wasn’t something he was familiar with, but with her, he found he was really enjoying himself.

After the grill was scrubbed clean, he got the necessary coals going. Bags of it. The good stuff. He was better at it than he’d let on. She looked at him suspiciously and then when it caught fire and spread rapidly through the large grill, she flung her arms around his neck and pressed kisses up his throat to his chin where she nibbled.

  “You’ve done this before.”

“You could say that,” he agreed. Hell, if lighting a barbecue grill had gotten him her kisses, and her tits pressed tightly against his chest, he would have told her far sooner. That was as far as his skills went. He could spread out the coals and get them lit. After that . . .

He reached down with both hands, cupped her ass cheeks and pulled her tight against his body. “Kiss me.”

She did. Without hesitation. Her lips found his and her tongue slipped along the seam, temptation itself. His cock jerked hard, coming to attention. He used one hand to turn the vibe on again and then he rubbed her ass, wishing it was bare. His other hand slid inside the shirt to find her bare breast. He loved her tits almost as much as her ass. Maybe more. Maybe it was the same. He didn’t know. Didn’t care. He just loved the way her body fit with his. Loved the way she made him come alive.

“Hey, you two.” Lana came up behind them. He knew before she spoke who it was because he was familiar with her energy. “Enough of that.”

They broke apart, both laughing. He remembered to turn off the vibrator to give his woman a little relief.

“I thought I’d help with the cooking, at least until Alena gets back. Pierce showed up and off they went together. I don’t know what’s going on there,” she added.

Ice didn’t believe her for a minute. “I’ve got this.”

“You’ve got that thing, remember?” Lana stated, holding up her watch.

He had no idea what “thing” she was referring to. He frowned and she tapped out their code on her thigh. Her hand was down low, up against her leg, so few people ever noticed the small taps of her fingers.

Fred. Venom. Of course. The club had come as well. He didn’t have to make a special trip to find the son of a bitch who’d given up his woman to murderers. They’d found him. He nodded. “I don’t want Soleil out of your sight. She’s got a couple of men watching her, and I don’t want them getting close to her.”

He didn’t want to leave his wife. He was having fun with her. He couldn’t remember there ever being a time when he was reluctant to go with his brothers and deliver a much-needed lesson. He was now. He would choose Soleil over fighting any day of the week. Shockingly, he’d fallen that far. But this was important. This kind of betrayal wasn’t acceptable, and Torpedo Ink had to get that message across to the Venomous club.

He caught Soleil’s chin, turned her head toward him and kissed her. He took his time, establishing the fact that she was with him. That he loved her. That she was protected. “Stay with Lana at all times.”

“I’m good, Ice. Nothing is going to happen to me.”

Ice looked up to find Absinthe and Storm close. They nodded at him. His brothers, ready to teach Fred a very hard lesson before he died and remind the Venomous club that no one put one of theirs up for murder. He stalked off, leaving his woman with his very lethal sister. Anyone who tried to touch what wasn’t theirs was in for trouble.

  SIXTEEN

Ice smiled. It wasn’t a nice smile. He’d perfected that look over years of beating the shit out of his enemies. “Hello, Fred. We met in Vegas. You remember? My wedding day. My woman looked like a fairy-tale prin
cess in her dress. You were staring at her tits, as I recall. So, if you don’t remember the dress, you might remember the perfect tits she has.”

Fred’s smirk faded and he turned slowly around, trying to look nonchalant as he searched the bar for his brethren. None of his club members appeared to be inside the bar. He gave a quick shake of his head. “Don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. You must have the wrong man.” He made a move as if he could get around Ice.

Ice blocked him. “You can’t go yet. I want to talk about old times.” He stepped in close to the man, put a friendly hand on his shoulder and then punched him three times in rapid succession in the gut. The punches were fast, hard, and delivered with Storm and Absinthe blocking the view from the rest of the bar.

Ice put a solicitous arm around Fred as he bent over, gasping for breath, his drink coming back up as he spewed it onto the floor.

“Freddie, you had too much to drink. Let me help you.” Ice appeared to help him as he staggered toward the darkest corner of the bar. Three men sat at the table there but moved quickly when Storm and Absinthe stood over them and just stared.

Ice shoved Fred into a chair, his back to the wall, the table in front of him—close. “Let’s get acquainted. We’re going to be friendly now. Really friendly. If you don’t want me to slit your gut open right here and let your intestines spill out into your lap, you’re going to give me everything I want. Tell me everything I want to know.”

He shoved a very sharp blade against Fred’s straining, heaving gut. “You feel that, you fuck? You gave up my woman. You went against the code. You’re a piece of shit and you’re going to answer any question I ask.”

Fred was no hero. That much was certain. On top of that, he’d been drinking heavily. He nodded over and over, sweat pouring down his face. Absinthe took the chair next to Fred on his other side. That left only Storm to block any view. Fred immediately lunged to the side, toward Ice, to get the attention of the others in the bar.
