“Sorry, Seb. I do know I mean more to you than some random chick. I was just frustrated last night, and probably a tiny bit hormonal, if I’m being honest.” He chuckled, and she continued, “When we’re together, everything makes sense. We’re having a baby, and that is a bond that can’t be broken. We have kind of epic sex, and I do love a good orgasm. The other women really don’t matter.

“Because that’s as far as it goes. Good sex. Baby. Last night Becky and Heather were insisting you’re in love with me. I know you love me, Seb. Everything you just said tells me that. In love, no. Because I can’t be in love with you, I can’t fall in love with a man who sleeps with other women; that’s not me.

“I can fuck you all day, every day, and twice on Sundays, but I can’t be in love with you, Sebastian. Not knowing that you sleep with other women. Nor do I have any interest in trying to change who you are. You’re Sebastian Fox, sex god extraordinaire. Go on with your bad self, get some, just—come back to me regularly and make sure I get my fair share of orgasms from you, okay?”

Sebastian smiled. “Now, that is a promise I can make, princess. I promise to always make sure you’re satisfied. If that means flying to Seattle from Chicago every day just to fuck you, I will.”

“Watch out; I might force you to do just that. Don’t make promises you can’t keep,” Lita grinned at him.

He moved his face to hers, stopping when their lips were barely an inch apart, and Lita’s breath caught. She wanted him to kiss her. She wanted him to fuck her. She wanted to forget the shitty confusion and awkward conversations their friends had caused them to have.

“I will keep that promise, princess. If you need fucking, I will come running. Any time. Day or night. No matter where I am in the world. Posso baciarti?” He smiled at her, and all other thoughts flew out of her head.

  “Sì,” she replied.

He met her lips with his, and she parted her lips to allow him access to her mouth. He explored her mouth with his tongue while he raised a hand to begin playing with her breasts. Lita moaned, and he broke their kiss with a smile.

“You’re so fucking sexy, princess,” Sebastian said as he placed his mouth on her breast, then reached his hand down between her legs to finger her. “And you’re so fucking wet.”

“What can I say?” Lita laughed. “You do things to me, Sebastian Fox.”

“No more than you do to me, Lolita Ciccone. I’m hard about fifty percent of the time now, just thinking about fucking you,” he smirked.

“Well, why are you wasting time talking when you could be fucking me?” Lita raised an eyebrow at him.

“Because, princess, the waiting is half the fun.” He moved down so he was kneeling between her legs, which he held apart with his hands. Sebastian took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. “You’re just as gorgeous as ever.”

“Thanks,” she laughed. “Sex with you is always such a confidence boost.”

Sebastian just smiled at her, then lowered his head and wasted no time in bringing her to orgasm. Then he positioned himself over her and kissed Lita as he pushed himself into her.

“God, I’d almost forgotten how good you feel,” he groaned once he was inside of her.

Lita tensed her muscles around him and was rewarded by him groaning again. He moved slowly, lowering his mouth to her breast as he fucked her. As always, he took his time, waiting until Lita had come before he made any attempt at attaining an orgasm for himself. When he finally came inside her, he rolled onto his side, pulling her onto her side next to him and wrapping his arms around her.

“Kind of epic?” he asked her.

“Meh, it was pretty so-so,” she grinned.

Sebastian kissed her, then said, “I’ll try and give you a better performance later.”

“Good, pick up your game, Sebastian Fox,” Lita told him in a stern voice as she got off the bed and made her way to the bathroom to clean up.

He followed her, and they showered together before making their way back to the bed. They lay together, facing each other, and Sebastian smiled as he looked into her eyes.

Lita looked away from him and her eyes landed on the Cruise Control symbol tattooed on his hip bone. She reached down and traced it absentmindedly with her finger. She thought that it was an unusual place to get a tattoo for a person who didn’t have any others.

“Why did you get this here?” she couldn’t resist asking him.

“Where do you think I should’ve gotten it, princess?” Sebastian sounded amused when he responded.

Lita considered his question. “I would have thought you’d get it on your shoulder or back. Maybe your forearm?”

“If I did that, everyone would be able to see it.” She felt the movement as he shrugged his shoulders and brought her gaze back up to meet his.

“Why don’t you want anyone to see it?”

Sebastian shook his head. “I don’t want to share everything with the world, Lolita.”

“But, the band is something you literally share with the world.” Lita frowned, confused by his decision to hide the symbol he displayed so proudly everywhere else in his life.

“Not all of it. We share parts of ourselves, but there are parts we keep hidden, which is what the tattoo represents.”

Lita didn’t know how to respond to that, so she fell silent again. Her hand dropped from his hip, and she watched his chest moving as he breathed in and out. She felt strangely connected to him from the new knowledge she’d acquired, and it both unsettled and calmed her in equal measure.

Sebastian put his hand on her stomach and broke the silence in the room. “I can’t believe how much bigger your bump is in three weeks. Are you feeling anything yet?”

She was grateful for the change of topic and couldn’t stop the smile that the thought of feeling the baby moving brought to her lips.

“Not yet. Although, apparently, I should start to feel something in another couple of weeks. I can’t wait.”

“It’ll be good when I can feel the baby move too. It’s so weird that we’re making a human,” Sebastian laughed.

“Oh, that reminds me, I brought something with me.” Lita got up and went over to her bag, rummaging through it, before coming back with the Doppler and the gel and giving him a shy smile. “I thought maybe you’d like to hear the heartbeat again.”

Sebastian looked surprised, then grinned. “Of course. You’re amazing, princess. Thank you for thinking of me like that.”

He gave her a hug as she climbed back onto the bed with him, then he kissed her softly.

Lita smiled. “I was reading stuff online, and apparently, it can be hard for fathers to connect with the pregnancy because they don’t have any of the symptoms. I figured it must be even harder for you because you’re in Chicago all the time while I’m here.”

“Never let it be said I don’t have the best baby mama a man could ask for,” Sebastian said.

“I try. Okay, I’m getting pretty good at this,” she told him, then admitted, “I do it every couple of days.”

“I’m jealous. Can you call me next time so I can hear it too?” he asked her.

“Sure, sorry, I should’ve thought of that,” she cringed.

Lita lay back on the bed, grabbed the gel, and squirted it on her stomach before putting it aside. She turned the Doppler on, then put the wand on her belly. It was only a second or two before she found the placenta.

“Ugh, that happens all the time. The baby likes to hide behind the placenta, I think,” she laughed.

Lita angled the wand a little and found the sound they wanted to hear. The thrumming noise filled the room from the tiny machine Lita was holding.

Sebastian closed his eyes and listened. “It’s slower than before,” he whispered.

“Yeah, it is. Wait, how can you tell?” she asked quietly as they were still listening to the sound.

“Because I’m a musician?” he chuckled.

“Oh, of course.” Lita smiled back at him, then showed him the scree
n which told them their baby’s heart was beating at one-hundred and forty-three beats per minute right now. “It’s the fastest at ten weeks when we first heard it, then it slows down over the rest of the pregnancy. I looked it up because I freaked out when I first did it and it was slower than before.”

“God, this is the best sound in the whole world,” he sighed.

Then they were silent and just sat there, listening. After a few minutes, Lita took the wand off her stomach, not wanting to risk doing it for too long.

“Thank you for that, Lolita,” Sebastian said softly. “It was the best gift anyone’s ever given me.”

Lita smiled at him, “You’re welcome, Seb.”

He got up and found some tissues to help her clean off before coming back to the bed and saying, “I wish we could go somewhere; I’d love to take you to play pool.”

“Me too; kicking your ass is fun,” Lita laughed and then cringed at him. “There have been more stories—oh, and there were pictures of us from Chicago.”

“Damn. I wondered when someone would find those. I don’t like you being here on your own, Lita. Are you sure you won’t consider coming back to Chicago with me?” Sebastian asked her.

Lita rolled her eyes. “No, Seb, we’ve been through this; I have a job here, and I have a life; I can’t just pick up and move to Chicago.”

“Isn’t your job computer-based? Surely, in 2021, you could do most of your work remotely.” He pursed his lips.

“I’ve already talked to my boss about it. It’s a possibility when I come back to work after the baby’s born, also if, for some reason, I get put on bed rest or something. What it’s not an option for is, ‘my baby daddy lives in Chicago, and I’d like to get fucked on the regular,’” she smirked at him.

“That’s not why I want you there, Lita; it’s just an added bonus. I hadn’t even thought about that, to be honest. Having kind of epic sex regularly would be nice, of course. I guess it’s just that I’m comfortable at home in Chicago; I know the city, and I know how to keep you safe there. I don’t know Seattle.” Sebastian frowned.

“Yes, but then I would be in a strange city, and I wouldn’t be comfortable. Dr. Watson is here too,” Lita said.

Sebastian laughed. “This might shock you, princess, but Chicago has doctors as well.”

“Sorry, Seb, it’s a no from me,” Lita said.

He sighed. “Fine, but would you consider coming over to Chicago for the weekend in two weeks’ time?”

  “Sure, why?” Lita was confused.

“You can’t figure out why, fangirl?” Sebastian laughed.

Lita rolled over, grabbed her phone, and checked the calendar; two weeks from today was the ninth of October.

She was still confused for a second, then she gasped. “You’re inviting me to go to Gabriel and Ariana’s wedding on the tenth?”

“Yes, if you want to come?” He smiled at her.

“Um, fuck yes,” Lita said quickly, then blushed, knowing exactly how she sounded. “I mean, that would be lovely, thank you.”

Sebastian laughed. “Yes, that would be lovely. Can you fly on Friday night again?”

“Shouldn’t be a problem,” Lita smiled.

“What about the flight back? Can you take Monday off work, or do I need to get you on a late night or early morning flight out?” he asked.

“I’ll check at work next week. Oh my god, what am I going to wear?” Lita moaned and indicated to her swollen belly.

Sebastian looked over her naked body, and his eyes darkened. “You should wear exactly what you’re wearing right now; it fits you perfectly.”

“You’re an idiot; I’ll have to find something to wear.” She rolled her eyes.

“I have an idea,” Sebastian told her.

He rolled over and grabbed his phone off the bedside table, then sent a message to someone.

“What’s your idea?” Lita asked him, curious about who he’d messaged.

“I’m asking my lover something,” he said, then smiled as his phone pinged with a reply to his message. “Feel like wearing a Heather Fletcher original to the wedding?”

Lita’s mouth dropped open. “Are you fucking for real, dude?”

“Yes, I’m fucking for real.” Sebastian laughed and pulled her into his embrace for a hug. “Heather just said she’ll make you a dress if you send her your measurements. I’ll even help you take them.” Sebastian put a hand on each of her breasts. “Okay, more than a handful. Now, this will be very useful information for Heather.” He gave her a wicked grin.

“I’m sure it will be.” Lita reached between them and placed her hand on his cock. “Also more than a handful. I should probably let Heather know too.”

“Now, princess, it doesn’t matter how many handfuls it is, just how many mouthfuls. Are you planning to get yourself twenty thousand dollars tonight or not?” Sebastian raised an eyebrow at her.

“Why, yes, yes, I am,” Lita laughed.

Sebastian rolled onto his back and Lita placed her mouth over him. She sucked him for what felt like forever; her jaw was well and truly aching when she stopped. She kissed his stomach, then up over his chest until she reached his face and could kiss his lips instead.

When their kiss ended, she asked, “Did I do it?”

“Sorry, princess, it was a good effort, but my money is safe today. You did manage seven minutes and two seconds, though. It’s a new record, well done!” Sebastian laughed.

“Hey, don’t count me out yet.” Lita laughed with him. “I’ve still got until midnight to get your twenty grand. Although my jaw is killing me.”

Sebastian kissed her, then she lay there with her head on his chest and listened to his heart beating. She slowly drifted off to sleep; it had been a busy week at work, and she was tired all the time now.

Lita was confused when she woke an hour later, her brain foggy from napping in the middle of the day. Sebastian still had his arms around her, but he had his phone in one hand and was looking at it.

“Hey, princess,” he said when he noticed she was awake, and he put his phone aside.

“Hi.” Lita sat up next to him. “Daytime naps are weird.”

Sebastian smiled. “Yeah, you looked like you needed it, though.”

“Look what you’ve done to me,” Lita said with a yawn. “It’s your fault I’m so tired.”

“I’m sorry you’re tired; I’m not sorry you’re pregnant with my baby,” he laughed.

“It really is the best accident ever, hey?” Lita thought about it. “Imagine if that condom had never broken.”

Sebastian frowned. “Nah, I don’t want to imagine that. I love our baby. Do you think it’s a boy or a girl?”

“I hadn’t thought about it.” Lita rubbed her bump. “I don’t care. Boy or girl, it doesn’t matter; it’s ours.”

“Have you thought about names at all?” he asked her.

“Not really, but we should probably go Italian, make your nonna happy,” she grinned at him.

“Or we could double down, Sebastian Junior for a boy or Sebastiana for a girl,” Sebastian laughed.

“Maybe. We’ll keep those as backups. I was thinking of Cletus for a boy,” she said.

“Are you…serious?” He stared at her.

“Yes, isn’t it a gorgeous name?” She smiled at him. “It’s just so dignified.”

“Do I get a say in this?” Sebastian asked.

“Sure, but I’m also sure you agree Cletus is the best choice for a boy, right?” Lita kissed him.

“Um, maybe we should think about it some more?” he asked. “I guess if you really like it …”

Lita lost it, laughing harder than she’d laughed in a long time. “Oh god, you’re too nice to me, Seb, I couldn’t resist.”

“Holy shit, you scared me, Lita. I thought you were serious, and I had no idea how I was going to tell you there’s no way in hell I would ever name my son Cletus.” He laughed now too. “I was just hoping you’d go off the name by the time the baby
was born.”

“We’re going to have a baby,” Lita said slowly. “Sometimes, it still doesn’t feel real.”

Sebastian smiled at her. “I know. I hear the heartbeat, and I see how you’re changing, and I know it’s real, but I don’t think I’ll really believe it until I’m holding our baby in my arms.”

“Twenty-four weeks to go tomorrow. Five and a half months. Oh my god. I’m going to have to start thinking about the nursery soon. Maybe we could go shopping after the anatomy scan? I’ll start making a list of what we need and researching the reviews and safety ratings and stuff,” Lita said.

“Yeah, I can do that. I guess I’ll leave the researching to you; I normally just buy whatever seems the best,” Sebastian shrugged.

“I couldn’t do that,” Lita gasped. “Sometimes the expensive stuff has terrible reviews, and the cheap stuff is better. I always like to make an informed choice.” Sebastian chuckled when she said this, and Lita asked, “What?”

“I was just thinking about us,” he said.

“What about us?” She raised an eyebrow at him.

“Well, Hayden was your favorite member of Cruise Control.” A smile played at Sebastian’s lips. “If you were making an informed choice about which of us to have a baby with, I bet it wouldn’t have been me.”

Lita laughed, then kissed him. “No, it wouldn’t have been. I’m glad I’m not having Hayden’s baby, though. He’s awesome, but would you believe he’s never once given me an orgasm? So rude.”

“I’ll have a word with him about how inconsiderate he is,” Sebastian said. “In the meantime, I’m more than happy to pick up the slack for him.”

“I appreciate it. If I don’t get my quota of orgasms filled, I do get very cranky,” she said. “And I’m only half-joking. I’ve been so fucking horny since I got pregnant.”

He kissed her, long and slow. “It’s a good thing I like giving you orgasms then.”

“Yeah, even in my dreams,” Lita laughed. “I had this amazing sex dream the other night, and I literally woke up having an orgasm.”

  Sebastian looked shocked. “Seriously?”

“Yup, apparently it’s the hormones. Pregnancy dreams can be really vivid. I’ve had a couple of nasty ones too. I definitely prefer the sex dreams, that’s for sure.” She shuddered.
