This time he pounded out his relief that she was here with him. His relief over her health. The health of the babe. The happy end to the confrontation of yesterday. All flooded his body with a rush of love and desire.

Blood drained from his head, all his energy gathered in his cock and balls and in the base of his spine. His cum bubbled through him and in one final thrust, he exploded. Cum burst from his cock and sprayed inside her. She continued to bounce, moaning, eyes closed in ecstasy.

Barbas continued to pour his cum into her body as if he’d been celibate for a thousand years instead of only three months. His pent up seed spilled inside her. And spilled. And spilled. Her greedy cunt sucked the cum from his body with hard, intense jerks.

Barbas pounded up into her, refusing to release her body from their sexual combat. She gripped his head and pulled her nipples from his mouth, then she slammed her mouth over his.

The kiss was wild, uncontrolled, crazy.

She kissed him as if she hadn’t been kissed for a lifetime. As if she’d been starving for a taste and only he would do. Her breasts rubbed against his naked chest, with her teeth and tongue she ate at his mouth. Barbas tangled his tongue with hers and forced his way into her throat. She didn’t even gag. He couldn’t wait to eat at her pussy as he was eating at her mouth.

Power burst from him and her, so incandescent he could see the wide ribbon of energy shimmering in the air. The surge of power twined around them and wrapped Barbas in a cloak of energy so pure he was nearly blinded as they continued to rock together.

The weakness he’d felt earlier was gone in an instant.

Aine seemed to glow as her chestnut eyes widened as she stared at him. “What...was that?”

“That, my love, is the Demon’s secret.”

She pressed her fingers over her eyes, her mouth an unhappy arc. “Don’t!”

  “Don’t what?”

“Don’t share Demon information with me.” Tears leaked from behind her trembling hand. “I am your enemy.”

“You are my love,” Barbas replied.

“You shouldn’t love me.” Tears slid down the sweet curve of her cheek.

“But I do. And you love me too.” Barbas pulled her fingers from her face and stared into her glistening gaze.

The truth shone from her like a beacon. But she wouldn’t say the words.

Barbas sighed. She didn’t realize what the energy they generated meant. And she still didn’t believe him. “I think it’s time you meet with Gaap.”

  CHAPTER 19

Aine studied the large conference room of the Demon’s Castle. A huge rowan table dominated the room. Stone floors were covered with intricately woven old carpets, giving the cavernous room a welcoming warmth. Torches adorned the walls at even intervals adding to the light that streamed in from the gothic shaped windows. The fresh scent of lemon perfumed the air.

The effect was fresh and sophisticated. Nothing like what she’d been expecting from the Demons.

She’d expected a step up from cave living. The stories of their crudeness, their rough and unsophisticated behavior, were legend in the Fae Realm, but nothing could be further from the truth. What other lies had the Fae told to keep her citizens afraid of their hated enemies, the Demons?

Her heart sunk in her chest as both the Prince and the Demon of Battle, Leraye, strode into the room. Gaap stopped, assessed both her and Barbas.

The empire waist of her sage green gown was delineated by a velvet strip around her ribcage. The ruched fabric dipped low over her modest breasts and left a large expanse of skin bare. The simple cut fell in a smooth skirt down to the floor. Her hair was held back with a matching ribbon. She’d chosen the outfit to look non-threatening, for all males seemed to underestimate females in a dress. But the truth was that she couldn’t bear to have anything restrictive around her waist. Her standard breeches and tunic had been stuffed away in a wardrobe for awhile.

When the Prince stopped at the head of the table, Aine slid into a low curtsy and bowed her head in respect for the leader’s position.

“I am glad to see you are fully recovered.” Gaap’s gaze shot to Barbas as if to confirm that statement.

  Barbas nodded once.

As she rose to her full height, she noted the prince’s hand out as if to...shake hers? She was trained as an assassin. Did the prince not know this?

“He trusts you,” Barbas spoke into the dawning silence as Aine hesitated.

“I trust you,” Gaap pointed at Barbas. “Her, I am still debating about.”

  She liked the honest answer.

“She was,” Barbas swallowed heavily. “Unconscious when you made your proclamation. She’s having trouble believing.”

The prince held out his hand and finally Aine accepted the gesture. She grasped his callused palm. Not a figurehead then. This Prince worked. “You are officially under the protection of the Demons. No one will hurt the babe.” He curled his fingers around her palm and squeezed.

Her truthsayer gift kicked in. He meant it. “Thank you, sire.” Aine averted her gaze and blinked away tears. To show weakness in front of the Demon Prince was not optimal. She restrained any hint of emotion. She would take out this moment and replay it in her mind over and over until she believed. But right now, she had to use extreme restraint.

“We will expect certain things of you,” the Prince continued.

Of course. Her gaze skimmed the well-appointed room, and took in the ornately decorated sideboard against the far wall. The intricately carved oak serving table boasted a scrolled silver tray, a bouquet of fresh flowers, and a golden hand mirror with the base in the form of a sensuously lush naked female. Aine’s eyes widened. She recognized that mirror.

“I prefer to discuss this outside,” she said imperiously. Aine tilted her chin up and looked down her nose at the Demon Prince. “I need the healing rays of the sun. As I recall, we negotiated two hours of sunlight daily as part of my incarceration.”

She noted Leraye’s distrustful frown but she couldn’t stay in that room one more second. Aine turned on her heel and sprinted toward the giant doors.

  “Aine.” Barbas strode behind her.

The prince called after her. “Since you are...recovering, I’ll grant your request.”

Aine shoved open the door and practically ran toward the bailey of the castle. Her breath came in great heaving gasps as reaction set in.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” Barbas grabbed her bicep and whirled her around. The Prince and Leraye were right on his heels. Once again she was being chased by Demons.

“I found your spy.” She struggled to breathe with quick, sharp inhales. But she couldn’t seem to take in enough air and her vision wavered.

  “Calm,” Gaap ordered. “Breathe.”

Barbas curled his arm around her shoulders, and with his big palm pressed her forehead into his neck. “Slow down, Princess. One breath at a time.”

“Remember, you came to the Fae Realm to find the spy.” She puffed out. She didn’t want to wait.

“I could hardly forget, sweetness.” Barbas murmured into her ear, his voice soft with affection. “I found you instead.”

“The spy. In your conference room.” Aine pulled her head from its hiding place and looked directly at Gaap. “The mirror. I recognize it. I believe my father bespelled the mirror. Anything you discuss in that room, he will know about.”

“Where did it come from?” Barbas asked.

“When we offered Judy the position as a Grace,” Gaap said briefly.

“Where is she now?” Aine heart settled into a calmer rhythm.

“Dead,” Leraye said tightly. His look did not invite further questions.

“That explains a lot.” Gaap tapped his lip with his pointer finger. “Especially why we could never torture the information out of the human spies we discovered. They were distractions. They had no idea who the real ‘spy’ was.”

  “Clever.” Barbas snarled.

  Gaap raised
his brows and considered the information she’d just given him. And then he smiled. “We can use the mirror to plant false information for the upcoming battles.”

  “You expect trouble?”

“We have heard from the King. He refuses to consider a truce.” Gaap said gently, “And I’m sorry to tell you, he also said you are no longer welcome in the Fae Realm.”

Aine flinched at the harsh words. She had known what her father’s response was going to be. Even if she had hoped for a different outcome.

“I’m surprised you didn’t want to bargain with that information.” Leraye flicked her a derisive glance. Clearly he was still suspicious of her.

“You are going to protect my child.” Aine said fiercely, “I am forever in your debt.”

Barbas curled her into his chest as if he could shield her from the horrible truth of her father’s betrayal. “The only word I like there is forever.”

“You have a place here. Always,” Gaap said gently as he took her hand. “However we could definitely use your knowledge of the Fae. It will be your choice.”

  And he spoke the truth.

“My apologies, princess.” Leraye’s words were much harsher but he was trying.

She couldn’t help but ask one more time. “For always?”

“For always.” Barbas rubbed his nose along the delicate curve of her neck and planted a gentle kiss behind her ear. “But I’d prefer forever.”

Her breath caught at the light caress. “Forever works for me.”

Barbas’s erection poked her in the back. “We, ah, need to leave you for a bit.” Barbas’s voice was strained as he requested leave from his prince.

“We’ll talk more later, princess,” Gaap said softly.

She straightened and nodded regally to the prince and she committed herself to the Demons. “I would be honored to give you whatever information you need.”

But Barbas was done talking. He tugged Aine toward the gate to the castle’s garden. “Later.”

Leraye and Gaap snickered as Barbas hustled her into the secluded enclosure.

“Watch out for the thorns on the roses,” Leraye called out.

The grille of the metal gate slammed shut and Barbas whirled her around and pressed her up against the tangle of copper and clover. Barbas clasped his hands around her neck and tilted her chin up for a kiss. His mouth pressed hard against hers as if he could hold back no longer. The crush of their bodies against the vines released the sweet aroma of honeysuckle.

Barbas ripped his mouth from hers. They were both breathing heavily. “We do have one last thing to discuss.”

“Now?” Aine rubbed her hands down his chest and arrowed toward his erection. “I thought you were done talking.”

He ignored her impatience. “The Fae are known for their voracious appetites and many lovers.”

“I don’t want many lovers,” she argued as she licked her way down his neck.

“That’s good.” Barbas slid his hands down her back and under her buttocks. With an easy jerk, he pulled up her skirt and pressed his breech-covered cock against her exposed pussy. “I don’t share.”

“Well then you’ll just have to keep things interesting,” she demanded saucily and then nipped at his collarbone.

Beyond the garden gate, the sounds of a busy castle echoed between their sensual gasps. Barbas ran his fingers along her pussy lips and rubbed the pads against her hardening clit.

“What are you doing?” She gasped as he penetrated her with one rough finger, her hips rocking against his hand.

“Claiming my princess,” he said against her mouth.

“But, what if someone comes.” Even as she protested her fingers were busy loosening the laces of his pants.

  “I’m certainly planning on it.”

And he did. So did Aine.

  CHAPTER 1

  Year 2100

Sex Squad Headquarters, Vermont, United States

“They call him Loverboy. He’s six feet three inches and a hundred and eighty pounds of pure sex magnet. No woman can resist him.” Det. Jim McBride’s husky voice curled through the briefing room grabbing Detective Sky Kelley’s attention.

The two male detectives sitting beside Sky nudged each other playfully and chuckled at Jim’s description. Unfortunately, they weren’t taking this Loverboy fellow as seriously as they should be. At their interruption, a dark anger crept into Jim’s gorgeous brown eyes. “You two giggly boys have something important to share with the rest of us?”

The two detectives frowned and shook their heads in embarrassment.

Jim nodded with satisfaction, then his intense gaze swooped onto Sky. His eyes softened a bit as he watched her, but the normal laugh lines at the corners of his mouth remained tight.

Bruised shadows hung beneath his eyes. Eyes that used to sparkle with desire for her. Now they held nothing but raw pain.

Hastily he looked away, leaving her with the impression she was being dismissed as if she were just another one of his “giggly boy” detectives, instead of the woman he had planned to marry...up until a week ago.

Sky closed her eyes for a moment and tried to compose herself. Tears of regret burned at the back of her eyelids. She should have said yes to Jim’s demands that they have sex. It would have been so easy to put out that persistent need throbbing between her thighs. However, she wanted to wait until she was one hundred percent sure about their relationship. Unfortunately, she had said no one time too many and now she was alone.

“Here is a little history on Loverboy.” Jim said. “Abandoned at birth, he was brought up in an orphanage by nuns. He was groomed to become a preacher but decided to leave. For the past few years Loverboy has been living on Saturna, the newly formed pleasure planet on one of Saturn’s moons.” A wave of excited murmurs echoed throughout the room. Everyone knew about the sex outpost. Several of her friends had said they wouldn’t mind taking a trip out there to a world where no one knew them and where they would simply lose themselves in a world of sex. Rumor had it people who walked the streets could be tapped on the shoulder by complete strangers and they would be obligated to have sex with them. Unbelievable.

Jim continued. “A couple of months ago a young woman went to the authorities on Saturna claiming she was seduced by Loverboy and then kept at his villa against her will while being trained to be a slave. She managed to escape but not before she discovered Loverboy was training men and women to become sex slaves.

As you all know, due to the government’s need for finding new forms of revenue they’ve invested heavily in Saturna and it’s a cash cow. Sex drugs, prostitution and sex slaves have all been legalized on the planet. However, avoiding payment of the income taxes obtained from such lucrative ventures is illegal. Loverboy has not filed any income tax returns for his ventures on Saturna. If what our source said is true and Loverboy is training slaves, he is in serious trouble for tax evasion, not to mention kidnapping.

The Chief wants two of our detectives to go
in undercover as eyewitnesses. One will be a woman. A virgin. A virgin is required because rumor has it Loverboy knows one when he sees one. He can’t resist them. And they can’t resist him.

Apparently, he is an exquisite lover. Once a woman has been with him she is hooked on sex. He then gives his victim intensive training. He and one of his orphanage mates, Carmella, are the only instructors in his alleged training school, which happens to be at a secluded farmhouse on the planet.”

The room was deathly quiet. Jim had captured everyone’s attention.

“Our source discovered that the slave is guaranteed one hundred percent employment at the end of his or her training period. Payment to the slave is three hundred thousand dollars a year, with an option to continue the contract by either party at the end of that year.”

“Get paid and get laid. Sounds like a hell of a good deal to me.” One of the “giggly boys” whispered low enough so Jim couldn’t hear.

“Beats the pay in the Sex Squad and you can screw your brains out.” His companion eagerly whispered back.

Sky shook her head at the detective’s insensitive comments.

How could they joke about such things? Innocents sucked into a life of fast money without waiting to have sex until they fell in love. Was she the only old-fashioned girl left on Earth?

“A thorough inspection of Loverboy’s personal villa on the planet showed nothing out of the ordinary going down. We haven’t been able to locate the alleged farmhouse being used for the training. Unfortunately our source that was allegedly kidnapped by him disappeared shortly after she reported the incident to the authorities.”

Regret whispered through Sky about the missing woman. Loverboy must have heard about her going to the law and taken care of her in some horrid way.

“The victim is an only daughter of a high ranking government official on Saturna. The father has hired us to track her down. The two people who accept the assignment will be given the identity of the woman along with an all expense paid trip to Saturna.”
