Fortunately for me, the lady said yes. I’ve no idea what I would have done as the author had she decided she didn’t want the ring.
Actually, I do, and this is the scary part: I would have had a three-way discussion with the two characters in my head.
See, multiple personality disorder!
Considering the hundreds of stories I’ve been part of and the massive number of characters I have created, I am a bit worried about myself. If you ever meet me and I am talking to myself, just stick a laptop in front of me.
(Editor’s note: Agree. It doesn’t even have to be turned on or functional. It makes him happy and calm. Trust me!)
I feel confident the voices will go away eventually.
