Accidently Married

Gwen disappears to the back of the limo to grab the luggage, I quickly get out and help with the luggage.

“I don’t think it’s a waste of money, in fact even though this whole weekend hasn’t been real. I hope that when we get back to New York we can start becoming real.” I say tentatively.

I start to walk into the airport when I realized that Gwen wasn’t at my side. I turn around to see her frozen in shock.

“What do you mean? Are you asking me out?” She asks as she blushes.

“Yes. To tell you the truth I have been in love with you for quite some time.” I say sheepishly.

As I look at her, her face starts to get redder and tears start to fall.

I panic and say, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you cry, please don’t cry. Please, it breaks my heart to see you sad.”

“No. Im not sad.” She says through tears and sobs. “Since we are being truthful then I have to tell you that I have been in love with you for quite some time as well.”

I stand in shock as she tells me this. I can’t believe that almost all of my dreams are coming true.

Before either of us can say anything my phone rings.

  “Hello?” I answer.

“Matthieu this is Alex, we have a problem.”

“What do you mean? What’s wrong?” I ask worriedly.

“I left the marriage license on my desk and my assistant grabbed it along with the other marriage licenses and filed them.”

Realization dawns on me and in truth I am happy that now all of my dreams have come true but now I need to know what Gwen thinks of this.

“Thanks Alex, talk to you soon.” I say as I hang up.

I look at Gwen and say, “Well it looks like we have no choice, and we have to go on this honeymoon.”

“What do you mean we have to?” Gwen asks puzzled.

“Let’s just say that Alex accidently married us for real.”

  “What?!” She says shocked.

“I know this is supposed to be fake but I really would love staying married to you; that is only if you want this. I will not force this marriage on you; if you do not want to marry me yet then we can get an annulment and possibly try again later.” I suggest.

I watch as she debates the outcome and slowly a smile brightens her face. “We can get a divorce at anytime correct?”

Slowly understanding I smile and say, “Yes.”

“Then why not stay like this for a while longer?” she asks smiling up at me.

“Sounds perfect, now let’s board this plane to the Caribbean.” I say wraping one arm around her as we walk toward our plane. “I’m glad you proposed first.”
