Her Juicy Cherry
Page 8
Quietly, I lead Catherine to my bedroom in another wing of the apartment. It’s a suite, and at least we can be alone. She’s trembling and shaking, her eyes bright with tears. But no tears fall, and I respect her for that.
“Come on,” I say, gesturing to the sitting area. “Take a seat, and take some time to get yourself together.”
The curvy girl moves as if to lower herself onto one of the chairs by the window but then, she turns to me first.
“Can I use your bathroom?”
I gesture to the open doorway.
“Sure, no problem.”
With stiff steps, Cat disappears into the adjoining en suite, and I walk over to my bedside while reaching for the remote. With a click of a button, the shutters begin to descend on the windows, blocking out a panoramic view of Manhattan. I figure Cat needs some time to get herself together, and the more privacy, the better.
The door opens, and she comes out quietly. Her expression is still shocked, and her posture ramrod straight. She walks like a robot to the chair across from me and sits stiffly.
“I’m sorry you had to see that,” she begins.
I hold a hand up.
“No, I’m sorry that you had to see that,” I say. “I don’t think you know my brother.”
At that, a sob erupts from her throat and she buries her face in her hands.
“No, I had no idea that Rev was going to do that, or that he was like that at all. We were dating, and I thought it was exclusive. Even if we weren’t exclusive, how could he do that? He says he makes videos for your friends, and that you all do that sometimes.”
I shake my head.
“No, that’s not true. Rev’s friends sometimes make videos. I don’t do it, and I never have. They have a sex-video ring, so to say, where they film themselves in the act and then share the recordings with each other. It’s dangerous, if you ask me. If that shit ever gets out, careers are going to be over and reputations destroyed.”
Cat shakes her head while still sobbing, and I lean over to hand her a tissue. Her narrow shoulders shake and my heart breaks. I feel so bad that Catherine was caught in my twin’s trap. Rev is a heartless user, and clearly, the curvy girl had no idea.
“Listen, you weren’t in the film. It was that girl, Sandrina, and she was coked out within an inch of her life.”
Cat looks up and my heart is torn at how her eyes look so broken.
“So you saw everything,” she says in a low voice.
I shake my head.
“No, not all, but some. I didn’t realize that this was happening in my house. My auditorium isn’t to be used for that purpose, and clearly, it doesn’t take any special equipment to record yourself these days. Any iPhone will do. But yes, I was wondering why people were cheering in the auditorium, and when I stepped over to look, I saw the confrontation. You were marvelous.”
She stares at me, her cheeks tearstained.
“Marvelous?”
“Marvelous,” I affirm. “That woman is ridiculous and my brother even more so. Rev is no good, honey. Yes, we’re identical twins, but he has no principles. He doesn’t give a shit about anybody else, and to be honest, sometimes with his drug use, I wonder if he even gives a shit about himself.”
Cat nods tearily.
“I suspected he was using,” she says in a wavery voice. “He denied it at first, but then sort of admitted it by saying that he was under so much stress at work that he needed a little bit of relief. I didn’t pursue the topic,” she says. “I wish I had.”
I shake my head, clasping my hands.
“If you had, you wouldn’t have liked what you would have found because my brother’s been in and out of rehab three times in the last five years. People call him a “man of mystery” and it’s because he keeps disappearing. He claims he’s off to Barbados or Ibiza, but it’s actually to the Cascade House out in the Nevada desert. It’s a rehab program for the ultra-rich who need to be discreet about their problems.”
“When was the last time he went?” Cat asks in a low voice, her expression still wrecked.
I think for a moment.
“Maybe a year ago? We genuinely thought he was better when he got out. No addict is ever “cured” so to say, but Rev seemed to have his issues under better control at least.”
She gulps and dabs at her eyes again.
“That’s before I met him. I would have noticed if he was gone for an extended period.”
I nod, and my voice is understanding.
“But maybe you wouldn’t have noticed, because he’s a great liar. All addicts are. They have silver tongues and can make you believe anything. Rev would have said something about business trips, or some emergency with extended family in Europe, and he would have disappeared again for a few weeks. It’s totally possible that you wouldn’t have known anything was wrong. Don’t blame yourself, Catherine. This isn’t on you.”
Cat wilts a bit before my eyes, and I feel terrible. She’s a feisty girl and yet I feel like she’s losing some of that vibrant energy. Or maybe it’s just the peace and tranquility of the room that’s helping her decompress a little.
But then she gets some of her spark back.
“Yes, but what about the tape? Even if he’s an addict, what was that about?”
I shrug.
“Honestly, I don’t know much about Rev and his friends. I don’t hang out with him because they’re not my crew, and he’s actually the one who invited them to my party. My own friends are more low-key, to say the least. But yeah, I’d heard rumors that they had a ring going on. It’s a private share space where they film themselves doing NC-17 rated shit, and then watch it together for fun.”
Cat looks befuddled.
“This is fun to them? Why?”
I shrug.
“It’s a bunch of people who have way too much money, who are pretty much perpetually coked out, and also bored beyond belief. They seize on anything to bring spice into their lives, and that includes drugs, sex, and videotape. Add in some lies and deception, and that about sums up their preferences.”
Cat shakes her head, suddenly growing tearful again.
“He said some of his friends wanted to see me perform because I’m fat,” she whispers in a broken voice. “They wanted to see how an overweight girl behaves in bed.”
This time, I can’t resist. Immediately, I’m on my knees next to Cat’s chair, and I take her trembling hands in my own.
“You’re not fat,” I growl, my eyes fierce. “You’re perfect the way you are, and trust me, you’re a hundred times better looking than any woman who was at the party today. Those guys are idiots and scumbags, and you can’t believe a word they say.”
But the blonde girl has already moved on, and she swallows painfully again.
“Rev said that he wanted to film himself with that skinny blonde chick because quote-unquote, “The opportunity came along.” Did you see what they were doing? I mean really doing?” she asks.
I nod.
“I did.”
Tears fill those beautiful blue eyes again and she lets out a harsh sob.
“Rev said that because I wouldn’t do backdoor, he was forced into choosing this woman. And … and … it’s true! I didn’t do backdoor because I wasn’t ready! I mean, we only started seeing each other a few months ago, and I’ve never done back-banging in my life before. I needed some time to get emotionally prepared and—”
I stop her then, squeezing that small hand within my big one reassuringly.
“You don’t have to give your marble peach to anyone,” I say in a low tone, even though my own body is beginning to harden at the thought of Cat’s delicious bottom. What would it look like, huge and bouncy on my shaft? Fantastic, I’d bet. But this isn’t the time, and I look deep into those baby blue eyes.
“Your body is yours, and Rev is an asshole. He would say anything to turn this around and make it seem like it was your fault. He’ll twist the truth and gaslight you until you think that you’re the one who
’s crazy, but it’s not true at all. You’re special, Catherine. None of this was deserved, and I’m so sorry that it happened, tonight of all nights.”
She looks down, tears dropping from her eyes in hot splashes onto our joined hands.
“I’m not special,” she says in a small voice. “Rev never loved me. And to think I thought he might propose today!”
She lets out a harsh laugh as I sit back onto my heels and look at her curvy form, genuinely startled.
“You did?”
She nods ruefully, while wiping at her dripping nose.
“Well, sort of. Maybe. Not really. My roommate was saying that she thought so, but I never really believed it. Alexandra, my roommate, thought it was incredibly romantic that Rev was taking me to a Valentine’s Day party. But he didn’t even tell me that it was at his brother’s house, much less that he even has an identical twin.”
I shake my head.
“Rev is sneaky, that’s for sure.”
She wipes her nose again.
“And I was an idiot for believing him. For even dreaming that we might have a future, when inside, I knew something was … different about him. I couldn’t put my finger on what it was, but now, things are a lot more clear. Maybe it’s his drug addiction. Maybe it’s the fact that he fell in with a bad crew of friends. Maybe it’s the stress at work that’s making him act out.”
I nod.
“Or maybe it’s that he’s just a bad seed. Trust me, I’ve known Rev for thirty-five years now, and he’s always been off. Even when we were little boys, my parents could tell there was something wrong with him. They paid for the best therapists, psychologists, and specialists, but there was never any real diagnosis because the problem is that my brother is the problem himself. He’s just a less-than-stellar guy.”
Cat takes a deep breath and closes her eyes, as if with exhaustion.
“Tonight has been a complete shitshow.”
I grin at her. Energy is returning to this curvy girl, and I’m glad to see it. I get up, stretching my long legs, and walk over to the fireplace.
“Yeah, it’s been a shitshow,” I muse, “but think of it this way: you dodged a bullet because of what happened tonight. If you hadn’t seen that my brother was a complete jerk, then you would have wasted more time on your relationship, and it would have been absolute disaster. Right? So actually, tonight was time well-spent.”
But there’s no answer as I bend to light the fire, and when I turn around, the breath exits my lungs because Catherine is lush and nude before me. While I was talking, she stripped out of her clothes, which now lie in a heap next to the chair. The firelight flickers off her ivory curves and immediately my mast hardens.
“What are you doing?” I stammer uncontrollably.
She smiles but then does something unexpected. The girl gets on her hands and knees with her bottom facing towards me, and then waggles that big ivory peach in my direction.
“They say that the best way to get over a break-up is to get right back into the saddle,” she moans in a low voice. “And I’d like to get into the saddle with you, Reed. Care to go for a ride?”
My eyes bug out as inevitably, my body says yes to the temptation.
