Oh, sweet Lord above, everything he did to her felt so, so good. Moaning helplessly, Minerva writhed and tangled her fingers in Tristan’s thick black hair as she was consumed by glorious, blazing sensation. She was so ready to come, it didn’t take long at all for her to find the pinnacle she sought. One hard exquisite suckle, and she was there, flying heavenward as sweet, sweet ecstasy seared through her.

The next thing she knew, Tristan was hovering over her, his thick, steel-hard cock gently prodding her drenched entrance. Her inner passage, still pulsing with pleasure, welcomed him as he pushed inside to the hilt.

“Good God, it will be a challenge to do this slowly, sweeting,” he gritted out. “I want you so badly. The urge to pound hard, to take you roughly, is strong.”

“I know,” breathed Minerva. She wound her arms about his neck and her legs came up around his hips to cradle him. Indeed, Tristan filled her so completely and so well, she swore she could feel every inch of his impressive length throbbing deep inside her. “Perhaps if you look at me, that will help…” She touched his tightly clenched jaw. “Love me, Tristan.”

“How could I not?” His mouth curved into a gentle smile and some of the tension that gripped him seemed to dissipate. “You are my world, Minerva. You are my everything.” And then he kissed her with deliberate, lingering tenderness. At the same time, he began to glide in and out of her, his rhythm slow and sure and steady. When he lifted his head, his smoldering, sapphire blue eyes locked with hers, and Minerva was enthralled. Her connection with Tristan—in every single sense—was perfect.

Passion and love coalesced, burning as brightly as any star in the firmament as Tristan loved her with his body and his adoring gaze. Every stroke, every touch, every panted breath, every whispered endearment spoke of this man’s undying devotion to her. When pleasure claimed Minerva a second time, she cried out her husband’s name and clutched at his shoulders. He was her everything too—her rock, her safe haven, her lover, her friend. The father of the babe she carried.

Tears of joy filled her eyes as mere seconds later, Tristan found paradise as well. Calling her name like it was a triumphant prayer, he shuddered and jerked before collapsing on top of her. But only for a moment. Rolling to the side, he pulled her close and wrapped himself around her, cradling her in his arms like she was the most precious thing in the world.

“I love you, Minerva,” Tristan whispered against her hair. “Forever.” And when he kissed her, Minerva knew in her heart of hearts that he spoke the absolute truth.
