Time for another Scouts adventure!
AUTHOR’S NOTE
I grew up in East Tennessee with family and friends who made my childhood amazing. Every day was an adventure… and if there wasn’t something to explore, we invented it!
All around us were mountains, valleys, woods, creeks, whitewater rapids, caves, and the occasional wild animal. There was also the lore of the land, like the ongoing rumor of the clan who lived deep in the forest and captured kids. (Of course, this wasn’t a real thing!) In Scouts, Annie and her friends embark on a grand escapade in which they encounter many of the same things I did as a child, including the cave, the rapids, the silo, lighting carpet on fire, the old farmer with the shotgun, and so much more.
I have a deep love and respect for the south and am so blessed to have grown up there. I hope you got a thrill out of this story as much as I enjoyed writing it and reliving my whimsical childhood.
XO,
Shannon

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
SHANNON GREENLAND grew up in Tennessee, where she dreaded all things reading and writing. She didn’t even read her first book for enjoyment until she was twenty-five. After that, she was hooked! When she’s not writing, she works as an adjunct math professor and lives on the coast in Florida with her very grouchy dog.
