He gazed up at me with narrowed eyes and his hands reached up to play with my breasts. I leaned down to trail my hair across his chest and licked his belly button. I felt his intake of breath as I kissed lower and my mouth covered his cock through the fabric and sucked lightly. His body went incredibly still and I just smiled to myself at his reaction. I waited a few seconds before I pulled his briefs off and threw them on the floor, not caring where they landed and then I looked at his manhood. He was already really hard, and I swallowed quickly thinking about taking him inside of me. He would be the biggest guy I’d ever slept with, and I wondered if that meant he would be amazing in bed or if that meant he’d be lazy.
He knew he was hot, and he had a big cock, so it could mean that he was just out to get his. I shouldn’t have worried though because within seconds he was pushing me back on the bed and pinning me down. This time he was on top of me and he was completely in control. His cock rested on my stomach and he leaned down to suck on my breasts. He kissed down my stomach until he was taking my panties off and I moaned as I felt his tongue gliding up my calf to my inner thigh.
“Do you taste as sweet as you smell?” His voice was hoarse as his mouth came into contact with my womanhood and licked and sucked. I cried out as I felt his tongue entering me and I reached down and grabbed his hair, my eyes closed as my body concentrated on the multiple different frissons of passion that were running through me. He ate me as if he’d been starving for days and I was the only food he’d have for one more week. He devoured me like he couldn’t get enough and my thighs trembled as they pushed into his face. I didn’t want it to end; my orgasm was building so sweetly and I was close to coming, but I didn’t want to lose the warm soft touch of him inside of me and then he withdrew his tongue and I cried out loudly. “Carter,” I almost screamed as he jumped off of the bed.
“Sh,” he said as he ran through my bedroom door. “My wallet’s in my jeans,” he said as he ran and I knew what that meant. The condoms were in his wallet. I was glad that he was thinking because at that moment the last thing on my mind had been protection. I felt slightly ashamed and annoyed with myself. I was too smart to not have remembered to ask him to use a condom, but I blamed it on the alcohol and ecstasy running through my body. Before I could beat myself up anymore he was running back into the bedroom with a huge grin on my face.
“I got it,” he said as he jumped onto the bed and I couldn’t stop myself from laughing at him as he ripped the packet open.
“Careful big boy,” I teased him and he just grinned. I watched him throw the wrapper to the side and then he slid the condom down onto his still very hard and very large penis. It must have been about seven inches and pretty solid. Very nice.
“Come here.” He pulled me toward him and kissed me, his hand sliding between my legs and two fingers finding their way inside of me.
“Oh,” I cried and fell toward him, kissing his shoulder and biting down into his skin. He pushed me back on the mattress and hovered over me. I watched as he reached down and positioned himself at my opening. “I know you won’t believe me but I usually don’t do things like this.” I gasped as he pushed the tip of his cock inside of me.
“Sh,” he said and then I felt him thrusting into me in one clean stroke.
“Oh,” I cried out as I felt him deep inside of me. He moved in and out of me slowly at first and I reached up and ran my fingers down his chest, my nails digging into his skin.
“You like that?” he whispered into my ear, as he thrust into me again, this time with more force.
“Yes,” I cried out as he moved back and forth. My legs tightened around his waist and I felt his body shudder slightly as I squeezed my inner thigh muscles in. He started moving faster then and I could barely believe how great it felt. He felt amazing inside of me and when he finally came, I felt his fingers on me and I came just seconds later. He collapsed on the bed next to me and grinned.
“Give me five minutes and we can do another room.”
“Another room?”
“You said you wanted the first time to be in the bed. I assume that meant you wanted me to fuck you all over your apartment?”
“Oh really?” I smiled at him lazily, my finger running down his chest. “Where would you have us doing it next?”
“I wouldn’t mind you riding me on the couch.” He winked at me. “I like it when a woman is on top and you seem like a woman that likes to be in control.”
“You want me to ride you?” I was starting to feel horny again already.
“I want you to ride me like you’re a jockey at the rodeo.”
“Jockey at the rodeo?” I started laughing. “I don’t think they have jockeys at rodeos? Jockeys are in horse races. Rodeos are for bull riding and cattle steering and stuff.”
“Ride me like a cowgirl on a bull then.” He caught my finger and brought it to his mouth and sucked on it. “Ride me like I’m the biggest bull you’ve ever seen.”
“You are the biggest bull I’ve ever seen.” I gasped as his fingers pinched my nipples.
“And so I assume I’m biggest that you’ve ever had?” he questioned, his eyes intense on my face.
“Do you really want to know the answer to that?” I swallowed hard as he lowered his lips to my nipple and started nibbling. “Oh, Carter,” I moaned. “Don’t stop.”
“You want me again, don’t you, Lila?”
“Yes,” I groaned.
“Am I the biggest you’ve ever had?” He grunted, and he looked up at me. I stared back down at him and his eyes were veiled. He had a cocky smile on his face and I knew he already knew the answer. It wasn’t even that he was big, it was that he was big and thick and knew exactly how to move it. He was a skilled lover. A very skilled lover.
“Carter.” I shook my head at him and he growled and he licked down to my belly button and then went even lower, bringing me to ecstasy once again.
“So, Lila, tell me about yourself.” Carter played with my hair as we lay back in the bed lazily.
“What do you want to know?” I yawned, feeling tired, but not wanting to go to sleep yet. I was the most satiated that I’d ever felt in my life. We’d had sex three times, and I was absolutely exhausted. Happy, but exhausted.
“Who are your favorite musicians?” he asked with a gleam in his eyes.
“I like The Strokes,” I said trying to think of the coolest band I listened to, but not being able to come up with anything other than them.
“Oh, their song ‘Last Nite’ is cool.” He started humming something I didn’t recognize, and he shook his head. “I think that’s one of their most popular songs, right?”
“Um, I’m not good with lyrics and song names,” I said honestly. “I’m awful at karaoke.”
“But they have the words on the screen.”
“And I still get them wrong.” I made a face as I rested my head on his chest, his fingers still playing in my hair.
“Oh Lila.” He laughed. “Who are your real favorites?”
“I don’t want to say.” I laughed. “You’ll make fun of me.”
“No I won’t.”
“Do you want a glass of water?” I asked him. “You must be thirsty.”
“No water, I want to know who your favorite musician is.”
“Ed . . .” My voice trailed off as I looked up at his gleaming eyes, he was now grinning uncontrollably. “What?”
“I know who you’re going to say.”
“No, you don’t.”
“Yes I do.”
“No, you, don’t.”
“I’m in love with the shape of you . . .” he started singing and his hand ran down my bare back to my ass. “Push and pull like a . . .”
“Okay, okay.” I groaned. “You got me. I love Ed Sheeran.”
“You were right by the way.”
“Right about what?”
“I’m totally judging you.”
“Whatever!” I laughed. “I’m guessing he’s not on your playlist.”
>
“He’s not on my playlist, no.” He winked at me. “Are you into Bieber as well?”
“Ed Sheeran is not the same as Justin Bieber.” I poked him in his muscular taut stomach.
“Oh, I forgot, sorry. Pop is pop to me.”
“Don’t be a hater.”
“I’m not a hater.” He laughed and then he pulled me up so that my face was next to his. “Well, maybe just a little bit,” he said before he kissed me on the lips. “I’m not saying he’s not talented . . .” His voice trailed off, and I hit him lightly in the shoulder.
“Carter Stevens, sh,” I said and as I closed my eyes to just enjoy the moment, I realized how surreal the whole moment was. “Do you know that we just met?”
“I think I know that.” I could hear the smile in his voice. “I was there.”
“Do you think this is weird?” I asked, but weird wasn’t the word I wanted to use. I wanted to ask him if he thought I was easy, but I didn’t know that I wanted his answer. I loved his honesty, but sometimes you didn’t always want honesty.
“Not for me,” he said as he kissed the top of my head. “But I guess as a musician I meet attractive women and know that if I want something to happen I have to act then and there or I might never see them again.”
“Yeah,” I mumbled, not really wanting to hear about how this was an everyday occurrence for him. I mean, I knew we weren’t headed to the altar, but he didn’t need to shove it in my face, how unspecial I was.
“I guess you’ve never really had a one-night stand before, huh?” je said and I stilled. Was this it then? Were we only going to have this one night? Not that I cared, of course, but it would have been nice to have seen him and slept with him a few more times, but then I supposed what would that make him to me? My booty call? A friend with benefits? Would it even be considered friends with benefits if we weren’t even friends? And did I want that? Not really. I didn’t want to get into any long-term casual sex relationship. I mean it was all good and well to have some fun, but I didn’t think friends with benefits ever went well for anyone.
“No, not really,” I said honestly. “I’ve not slept with loads of guys and most were in relationships with me.”
“Most?” he said questioningly.
“There was one guy.” I sighed, thinking back to my college days. “I thought we were in a relationship, he didn’t, we hooked up four times and then he started hooking up with my roommate.”
“Ouch.”
“Ouch, indeed.” I laughed then. “It was my own fault, looking back at it now. He’d never once mentioned us being boyfriend and girlfriend. He never took me on any real dates. He bought me Wendy’s one night, and I was over the moon. It really should have taken more than that to make me fall for him.”
“So I take it you’re not hung up on him then.”
“No, not at all.” I almost laughed. “To be honest and this might sound really bad, but I can’t even remember his name.”
“Oh, Lila.” He laughed then and held me close to him. “You’re funny. I’m glad you’re funny.”
“What would you have done if you found out I wasn’t funny?”
“I’d leave.”
“You’d just leave the bed?”
“Yup.” He stroked my shoulder. “I’d jump out and be like see ya.”
“Oh, wow.”
“I don’t normally spend the night,” he said in a low tone.
“Oh?” I didn’t question why he’d decided to stay the night with me.
“It’s too intimate a gesture, and it makes a woman expect more,” he said nonchalantly. “We’re already on the same page, so it’s okay.”
“Yeah, it’s fine,” I said and kissed his chest. Just because it felt like paradise lying in his arms didn’t mean we were meant to be together. “I’m glad you decided to stay.”
“Me too,” he said softly. “Me too.” And then he stopped talking and within a few minutes I heard him snoring lightly, his chest rising beneath me. I smiled to myself as I listened to his heartbeat and then within a few seconds I was falling asleep myself.
I yawned as I walked into the kitchen at work. I needed caffeine and a bagel, preferably with cream cheese. The previous night had been amazing, but my body felt slightly sore and still very tired.
“Hey, Lila, you want to go for a drink after work?” My friend and work colleague Dante asked me as we stood there and made ourselves some coffees with the new Keurig machine that had been put in just a few weeks prior. “April says that El Ranchero has happy hour tonight.” His hazel-green eyes sparkled as he tried to convince me to go out. I tried not to compare his eyes to Carters baby blues. For some reason I hadn’t been able to stop thinking of Carter. Well, I knew the reason why, but it annoyed me slightly. I didn’t want to be thinking about Carter.
“I should go home,” I said, not really needing to go home straight after work, but I was hoping to see Carter in the hallway or something. I was not going to knock on his door. Or text him. Nope. If he wanted to talk to me, he could text me first. He has rushed out of the apartment quite early in the morning because he needed to walk Frosty and I hadn’t seen or heard from him since.
“Why?” Dante looked surprised. “You don’t want to get a drink?”
“I met a guy, well, kinda . . .” My voice trailed off. I didn’t know what to say about Carter. “We hooked up.”
“No way.” Dante looked shocked. I knew he wasn’t judging me because Dante was the king of random dates and hookups. He was most probably the second best looking man I knew, behind Carter. In fact some people might consider him a better catch than Carter. He’s gorgeous, a partner at the firm and he’s a millionaire, due to some family businesses he ran with his cousins. Dante and I had never dated, but I’d always thought he was cute. Not that I would ever hook up with a guy from work; you don’t shit where you eat. I’d seen that from other people’s disasters.
“Yes, way. He’s a musician though and a playboy, so . . .” I didn’t need to say more. Dante was very similar to Carter in that he also wasn’t looking for a relationship. I wasn’t sure why I was surrounded by men that were scared of commitment. I used to think it was something about me until I realized that men in general were pussies when it came to serious relationships. I really didn’t understand what so many of them were afraid of. Was love really that bad?
“Don’t even think about him. Let’s go out for tequila shots.”
“And guacamole?” I asked hopefully, capitulating easily.
“Yes and you’ll have to tell me more about this wannabe.” He laughed. “And I’ll have to tell you about Nana and her plan for me.”
“Oh, another plan?” I laughed already ready to laugh at whatever the story was. Dante’s nana was always trying to hook him and his two cousins up. She wanted grandkids so badly and none of her grandsons were interested in getting married anytime soon.
“Yes, another girl.” He rolled his eyes. “I don’t know where she finds them.”
“Oh, Dante. I don’t know what to tell you.” I heard my phone beeping, and I groaned. “That’s my alarm. I’ve got to finish off these briefs to get to opposing counsel soon. Just email me the details for tonight.”
“Sounds good. I should go as well. I have a meeting with Kaplan now. We’re going to hire some new associates next month.”
“Great,” I said enthusiastically. Maybe I’d be able to work fewer hours if the firm hires more people. “Chat later,” I said and walked back to my office. I looked at my phone and opened my messages and call log just to make sure I hadn’t missed anything from Carter. There was nothing from him and I sighed as I put the phone down on my desk. I couldn’t afford to develop a crush on him or have him in my head. Especially as it had only been a one-night stand as far as he’d been concerned. Though what a night it had been. I closed my eyes and pictured Carter’s face between my legs and blushed. It wasn’t that we’d done anything truly dirty or scandalous. It was more the fact that this time last week I did
n’t even know who he was. This time last week I didn’t even know he existed and now, well, now he knew how to make me come in ways no other man had ever figured out. And I wasn’t sure that one night was going to be enough for me.

“Does That Make Me Crazy”
“Bro, you coming? Two dollar cans of Dos Equis.” Chad stood at my doorway. “Me and the boys are headed out in ten.” The boys being the other Harvard guys that had gone to college with Chad and now worked here at the J.D. Morganland with us.
“Okay, maybe.” I nodded at him. “I need to figure out some sell prices for a client.” I picked up the stack of folders and held them up to him just so he knew I could be here all night.
“Seth said that they got the girls wearing short tops now like at Hooters,” Chad said still trying to convince me.
“We’ll see, man.” I dismissed him and returned to my files. I couldn’t care less what price my clients sold their stocks at, but this was my job and I still needed to do my job until I got my bonus in a few weeks. Then I’d be handing in my notice and going full time as a musician. I was incredibly nervous, but super stoked and excited for this next step in my career. I picked up my calculator and then clicked on my keyboard to see the NASDAQ closing numbers. As the numbers piled onto the screen my mind thought back to the previous night with Lila. She’d been dynamite in bed; sexy, giving, beautiful. Everything had felt so warm and natural and her body had been perfection; warm and soft in all the right places. And when she’d straddled me on her couch and pretended to ride me like a cowgirl, I’d almost come right away. I’d been surprised when she’d woken me up at 3:00 a.m. to go at it again, but I hadn’t complained. I looked at my phone and wondered if I should text her, but decided against it. I didn’t want her thinking I was too eager. Girls always hated guys that texted too soon or too much. I knew that. I’d seen it with Danielle. Yeah, she complained when guys didn’t text, but she had no respect for those that seemed too eager. I didn’t want Lila to think I was too interested.
