His Desire

  “Oh, thanks,” Kai responded.

Penthouse? As if this room isn’t big enough already. What does he need the penthouse for?

“It’s Daisy’s birthday coming up and she wanted to invite you to her party.”

  “When is it?”

“Next Friday night. You should come.”

“Yeah. All good. Just let me know where.”

“We’re going to a strip club,” chuckled Holden.

Oh God, Holden. Did you lose another fucking bet?

“Are you serious, bro?” Kai continued. “A strip club?”

  “Yeah,” Holden’s laugh echoed.

“You’re inviting me to your girl’s birthday party at a male strip club?” A chuckle escaped my mouth. I could tell this wasn’t the sort of thing Kai was into.

“Fuck, no. Man, it’s a girl’s strip club.” Holden continued, “Don’t ask.”

Damn. Looks like I was right.

  “You in?”

“Yeah. I’m up for it,” Kai answered.

  “Awesome. I’ll let Daisy know.”

“So um…I wanted to find out…Will Isla be there?” Kai whispered nervously.

I smiled to myself trying not to make another sound.

“Gotta ask her. Man, I’ve been trying to call her all morning,” sighed Holden.

Pulling out my phone, I looked down and saw a few missed calls from Holden. Crap! I’ll have to catch him later on.

“Why are you asking about Isla, bro?”

  “No reason.”

“She’ll kill me if I try to set her up with you again. Fuck. Or anyone. I can’t lose my best friend, Kai.”

I’m glad he’s learnt from his mistake.

“Alright, I gotta go. I’ll text you the details later. I’m gonna head back home to get more rest.”

As Kai said his goodbyes, I stepped out of the bathroom when I heard the door close. Kai was smiling at me when I walked in.

“That was close. Damn. I was scared he was going to hear you.” Kai relieved.

“So, you were asking if I was going.” I teased.

“Yeah.” Kai scratched the back of his neck before he cleared his throat.

“Why did you want to know?” Please tell me it’s because you feel the same way I do.

His expression was serious before his blushing intensified.

I can’t deny that I love seeing the effect I have on him.

  “Curious, I guess.”

Ugh. Curious my ass. Just be straight with me damnit! My mouth was dry from feeling nervous. I may have some kind of effect on him, but he has one on me too. “This should be interesting. A girl strip club,” I whispered.

“What’s the deal with that?” Kai tilted his head.

“She probably lost some bet with Holden. It’s happened a few times before,” I chuckled.

“They’ve been to a strip club before?” His eyes widened at me.

“Not sure. But she has lost plenty of bets,” I continued. “There was one I didn’t think Daisy would actually go ahead with. She and Holden made a bet about some stupid song lyrics. One of Holden’s dreams was to swim with sharks. He got what he wanted when it turned out he was right about the song. They went on a holiday to Mexico and swam with some Great Whites.”

“Yeah, I’m not scared of a lot of things, but sharks, I have to admit, definitely freak me the fuck out.” Kai turned the subject back to me. “So have you made a decision?”

I took a deep breath before I answered. “You haven’t really given me much time to think about it.” Twenty minutes to be exact.

“How much time do you need?”

  “I don’t know, Kai. A little more,” I answered.

“Don’t take too long,” he whispered. His lips curved up to a smile. I caught myself staring at him. One thing I noticed about his eyes, was not only were they intense and inviting, but how kindness swam through them. I knew if I kept my gaze, I would get lost. And I already felt lost when it came to him.

Kai pulled me from my thoughts.

  “What?”

I bit my lip seductively “Do you think you can handle me as your call girl?”

Kai’s eyebrows arched; a smile played on his mouth. “Do you think you could handle me as your client? He teased.

“I can handle anything you can throw at me.” I vowed. And damn, I want him to throw himself at me.

“I’d love to see that,” he whispered. Kai’s eyes roamed up and down my body. Why do I feel so weak, yet strong when I’m next to him?

“You just might if I say yes.” I can’t describe how sexy this man is. He’s different to Ace. They’re both attractive in different ways. With Ace, it’s more physical, but with Kai, there’s a connection there. A history. Something deeper I want to explore.

“Ask me anything you want to know before you make your decision.”

Biting my lip, my eyes moved above my head. What can I ask him that would sway my decision?

He took a seat on the lounge chair in his room and tapped it lightly, motioning me to sit next to him. I strolled over and turned to face him.

My eyes couldn’t leave his. There’s something about them that draws me in. A kindness, even though he’s been distant towards me. Until now it seemed. But what else is it I’m looking at? A hint of sorrow glazed over, and all I could think of was that someone had hurt him too. My gaze was broken when my phone buzzed. I took a quick look and noticed a text message from Ace.

I can’t wait to see you again. You’ve been the only thing on my mind. I want to taste you. I want your lips around my cock. I blushed, quickly putting my phone away, not wanting to respond to his message. At least not while I was sitting next to Kai, who noticed my face turning bright red.

  “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine,” I lied. I don’t want to talk about one client to another. It’s a rule I have. I don’t think they would appreciate me discussing our rendezvous to another person. Kai didn’t believe me. He knew I was trying to hide whatever message had come through.

“Must have been some text,” he teased.

“It was nothing.” I brushed off. What would Kai really think of me having multiple clients? Hell, what would I think having more than one, when all I really want is Kai?

“What did it say?” His eyes darted down to my phone.

I placed it against my chest, shielding the screen from his wondering gaze. Not telling you. I don’t care how sexy you are.

“Sorry. I can’t say.” He smiled at me. Ugh. Why does he have to have such a fucking infectious smile? I swear, I would do anything this man asked me to…except look at my phone of course.

  “Why not?”

“Because I don’t talk about one client to another,” I replied. Now’s my chance to see his reaction.

“It was a client that sent you the message?” Kai swallowed hard, avoiding eye contact with me.

  “Yes.” My voice dipped low.

He cleared his throat before bringing his attention to me. “It must have been dirty.”

Using my hand, I made the motion of zipping my lips, shutting my mouth, and throwing away the key.

“I’m only guessing here, but something about not being able to wait to see you.”

Damnit, he’s good. How the hell did he figure that out? An involuntary smile crossed my lips. He was only partly right though. I knew if he kept guessing, the true dirty nature of the text would be revealed.

“But that wouldn’t cause you to blush like that,” he continued.

“Please stop,” I begged, covering my face with my hands. My knees were bouncing up and down.

“Okay. I’ll leave it for now.”

I uncover my face and gaze into his piercing eyes. “Why are you so desperate to find out, Kai?”

  “Curious again,” he replied.

“You’re curious about a lot of things.”

“When it comes to you, definitely,” he teased.

I tucked my hair behind my ear. A smile played o
n my lips. I need to ask him a question. I hope he’s straight with me. “I’m curious about something this time, Kai.”

  “What’s that?”

“Do you have any weird fetishes?” I joked.

He chuckled “I guess you have to wait and see.”

God, I hope not, though for him, I could just make an exception. “That might be a decider on whether I take you on as a client,” I grinned.

“Okay. I have one fetish,” Kai confessed.

Oh, I’m definitely curious now. “What’s that?”

“I have a thing for asses,” beamed Kai. Asses? Please tell me it’s not what I think he means! I’ve never done anal and I’m not about to start.

“What? Do you mean like up the ass?”

Kai lets out a deep bellied laugh. “No. Just the look and feel of them,” He continued. “Yours in particular.”

I blushed again. “Oh. Um. Anything else I should know about?” My nerves getting the better of me. Finding out about what he liked was actually a turn on. I want to know more about him. Everything in fact. All the little details that make up Kai Storm, I want to know.

“Just one minor detail. We’re not having sex,” he stated.

Um, what now? What the hell is he talking about? Not having sex. Why the hell is he paying me for then? “What’s the point of this envelope full of cash? Why would you be giving me money at all?”

“It’s the only way you’ll stay in the same room with me,” whispered Kai.

Okay. Did I just hear him correctly? The only way I’ll stay in the room with him? Oh, Kai. That’s definitely not the only way. “You’re talking crazy right now.”

  “Do we have a deal?”

My mind was racing, my heart was keeping up. This idea is bad. Very, very bad. There’s no denying my attraction to him, but my answer should be no, obviously. “Deal,” I blurted out. Damnit, Isla! What the fuck are you thinking?

He smiled and leaned in towards me, reaching out his hand for me to shake. I took it willingly before he grabbed a tighter hold and pulled me closer to him, crashing his lips onto mine. I felt his hand slide up to the back of my head when he opened his mouth. My tongue moved inside as we deepened the kiss, which was just as heated as the one before, if not more. Moving down to my ass, he squeezed it tight. A moan escaped from my lips when I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck.

“Mmmm.” Kai pulled away from the kiss and our eyes locked in place.

Oh, yeah. This is definitely a bad idea.

  Irresistible

Oh, yeah. This is definitely a bad idea. “Just so we’re clear, you don’t want to have sex with me?”

“No.” he replied. How the hell is this going to work between us? He’s paying me so much money and doesn’t want to have sex with me. I have to admit, it’s a little harsh on my ego right now.

“But you want me for the whole night?

“Yes.” Kai bit his lip, inching closer towards me.

  I cleared my throat. “Tonight?”

“Are you free?” Hope was the only thing I could describe in his eyes.

It was clear he wanted me to stay, but what didn’t make sense was the reason why. I need to find out. “I’m available for the entire night, but I have an appointment tomorrow mid-morning. Will that be an issue?”

Kai shook his head. “That’s fine, but I want you tonight. We’ll be inside the penthouse soon by the look of it.”

“Why change rooms? This suite seems more than sufficient.” My eyes scanned the area. A large king size bed sat perfectly in the center of the room. The dark padded bedhead complimented by the chic white sheets, a single red pillow and blue runner placed neatly down. Two bedside tables with lamps and digital clocks on either side of the bed, each with four drawers for storage. Blackout blinds fixed above the full-length windows which boasted a 180-degree view of the city skyline. The ambiance was warm and inviting.

“I’m here for a while and I need the space for my business meetings.” Kai replied.

“What do you do for a living?” I don’t know what business meetings he has but this room seems like enough.

“I work in finance.” Kai answered.

Why do I have a feeling he isn’t happy with his job? There was no excitement in his tone when he mentioned what he did. “And the business meetings that you’re having, any of them like the one a couple of weeks ago?” I blushed. He smiled at me before his eyes moved up and down my body. God, the way he looks at me my pussy throb. How the hell am I going to resist him? Fuck, this is going to be too hard. I know it.

“Yeah, exactly like that.” Kai scratched the back of his neck.

I’m constantly thinking about that night. Thinking about that damn kiss. “Oh, really?” I continued. “Are you going to tell Greg not to send me up again? We know how that turned out for you last time.” I teased.

“Yes. You won’t be allowed at the next one. I’ll make sure of it.” Kai’s expression was resolved.

Why the hell wouldn’t he want me there? It’s not like he likes me, or at least I don’t think he does. I need to find out his reasons. “Why won’t I be allowed?”

“Did you enjoy yourself at the last one?” A smirk played on his lips. Kai’s intense gaze was on me, waiting for my response.

“Certain things were appealing to me. Other things not so much.” Now I’m just toying with him. I know where this conversation is headed and I’m going to mess with him again.

“Interesting,” Kai continued. “And what appealed to you the most?”

The blood rushes to my cheeks. How do I tell him that the most enjoyable memory of that night was our damn kiss? And the worst part of the night was when he told me how he felt about it. Kai repeats the question when I don’t respond.

  “Well?”

“I’d have to say when I kissed the girl. I mean God, she was stunning. It was my first time kissing a woman of the same sex, so that might have something to do with it.” I lied. Kissing her did turn me on to be honest, but it’s nothing compared to kissing him.

Kai was surprised by my answer. “No other kiss was enjoyable?”

My smile widened at him and my eyes looked up as though I was thinking. “Nothing comes to mind.”

“Maybe I need to refresh your memory,” Kai whispered.

  “I mean, you could try-”

Before I could finish, Kai crashed his lips onto mine. I almost fell back from the intensity of the kiss, but he wrapped his arms around my body and held on tight to steady me. Right now would be the perfect time to have my way with him, but for some reason, I know it’s not what he wants. Even though it’s everything I do.

I opened my mouth and our tongues started playing with each other. His taste invaded my senses and I wanted nothing more than to devour him. I moaned into the kiss. “Mmmm.”

Kai pulled back abruptly and I could see the apologetic look on his face. “Sorry.”

“Why are you apologizing for kissing me? You could do a lot more to me. You’re paying me enough.”

He shook his head. “No. Not for sex,” he continued. “Did it work?”

Of course, I remember the kiss.

I bit my lip. My body reacted the same way it has every time he’s touched or kissed me. Settling back into the couch, I gave him a wink. “Yeah, it’s come back to me.”

Kai’s cheeks flushed. He was satisfied by my response.

“How are we going to do this?” I need to know how this thing between us is going to work. Does he care if I go with other clients? I mean we’re not together so he has no right to tell me what I can and can’t do with my body. Though part of me wishes I could tell him exactly what to do with my body.

“Do what?” His eyes narrowed at me.

“Well, for one thing, you’re changing rooms. Do you think Holden won’t notice me in there?”

“You know you can’t hide what you do forever from him. He’ll find out sooner or later.”

This I know, but I’d rathe
r him find out later. Much, much later. If I had my way I wouldn’t want him knowing at all. “I’ll tell him soon…it’s just…” I hesitated. Telling Holden is not going to be easy. How the hell do I start up that conversation? Hey, bestie, I get paid for sex, and your other best buddy has offered me money to sleep with him…well…without sleeping with him. God, I’m screwed.

“You need to be straight with him.”

I know Kai’s right. I’m just not ready. I nodded in agreement. I don’t know how Holden will react when I tell him, but I doubt he’ll be all sunshine and roses about it.

I was pulled from my thoughts when Storm asked about our relationship. “Has anything ever happened between the two of you?”

Without hesitation, I responded, “No. Never.”

And that’s the absolute truth. As much as I love Holden, I could never see myself with him.

Kai smiled at me. “He’s a good guy. I’m surprised nothing has.”

“I’ve never seen him that way. He’s like a brother I never had, and he’s always seen me as a sister. Besides, I think he’s found his true love with Daisy.” A look of relief crossed Kai’s face. “You seem awfully curious about my love life, Kai Storm.”

“I’m a curious guy,” he joked.

“So, what do you want to do with me the whole night if you’re not going to allow me to please you in any way?”

“Well, it seems as though I have no problem with you kissing me.” A mischievous grin appeared.

I took this as an invitation to climb onto Kai and straddle him, placing both hands on his chest. I leaned in and pressed my lips gently with his. The kiss is soft, sweet, yet seductive. His hands move to my ass, where he gave it a firm squeeze. He moaned into the kiss before moving one hand to the side of my face. After a while he pulled away, my arms wrapped around his neck.

“One day you’re not going to be able to control yourself, and you’ll give into me. I can feel it.” I don’t know how long we’re going to be able to resist each other for.

“Is that what you want, Isla?” he whispered.

“Going by how hard you are right now; I know it’s what you want too.”

“You can feel it, huh?” he blushed.

I moved my hips, grinding against his erection. “Yeah, Kai Storm. I can feel it.” God, he’s so fucking hard for me. Why the hell won’t he allow me to touch it? To taste it. I’ll have him one day.
