  “Wassup, mama!”

  “Hey, baby boy! What’s crack-a-lackin’?!”

“Mama, you can be so lame, sometimes.”

Eris cracked up in laughter along with her eleven-year-old son, Brendan, while they chit-chatted over FaceTime.

“You look pretty, though. I like yo’ glasses,” he complimented.

“Thank you. How you been, champ? You miss me? I miss you.”

“I been cool. You know I miss you, mama.”

“I sholl can’t tell. You don’t never answer my phone calls. Don’t make me pop up in Phoenix, acting a damn fool.”

“Awwwww, ma! It ain’t like that!” Brendan snickered.

He had his phone propped up so he could continue his game on 2k while they talked.

Eris had tears in her eyes. Her baby was getting so big. Sometimes, she felt like a bad mother for allowing him to move to Arizona so he could be with his father. It’s been four years since he left, and the arrangement was bittersweet. She flew out to see him every other month for a weekend, and he flew into St. Louis on the alternating month. He spent all of his school breaks with her and alternated with his father every other year for the big holidays. That’s how their lives had been operating.

A lot of people thought Eris was dumb as hell not having her child twenty-four/seven. The shit was unheard of, but she could really give a fuck about what anyone else had to say or what they thought when it came to the way she raised her child.

Brendan was safe with his father. Things may not have worked out with she and her ex, Royce, but raising their son had always been their main priority. The shit might’ve came out of left field when he knocked on her door wearing a wedding ring, announcing his move to Phoenix, but she saw it coming sooner or later.

She knew about the job offer Royce received to be an assistant coach for the Arizona Suns. They stayed in touch about situations and decisions that could possibly effect their son, and she thanked God.

It hadn’t always been this way.

Eris had a few weeks to make a final decision before her son’s father was scheduled to move, and to her surprise, she let Brendan go.

Brendan loved his dad and needed him even more. There were things in this world that she couldn’t teach her young and growing Black king. That’s what his father was for, and she wouldn’t come between that. The only stipulations she had were to, first and foremost, meet his new wife and family so she’d know who her son would be around. That was a given. Secondly, she needed the address where they’d be living, his school information, and check-ins when he received a new progress report and report card. Most importantly, even if she was all the way in St. Louis, Eris Costello needed to be one of his emergency contacts.

Royce shared the same sentiments. If anything, he was grateful that Eris wasn’t holding the once rocky relationship that they struggled through, against him. He did right by his son, so she saw no reason to make that man’s life hell when he treated her with respect as well.

“I’m still gon’ get to see you at the end of this month, right, ma? Daaaaaaaang, man! COME ONNNNNNN! LET’S GOOOOOO!”

Eris couldn’t hold her laughter. The way this lil’ boy yelled at the television and lost his shit over these games cracked her the hell up.

“My fault, ma. They actin’ like they retarded tonight—Come. On. Maaaane!”

“Hey, Eris? We have a customer out front that needs assistance.”

She nodded her head in agreement towards her manager before reverting her attention back to her son.

“Yes, you’ll see me at the end of the month for five days. I have a pretty heavy schedule this semester at school. You know I wouldn’t miss it though, but I’ve gotta get back to work. I’ll call you once I make it home.”

  “A’ight. Drive safe. Love you—GOOOOOOOO!”

Eris ended the call after telling him she loved him, too, and shook her head. She then slid her iPhone back into her purse after doing away with the hangers she was collecting from the dressing rooms. Checking the face of her Michael Kors watch, she saw that there was only thirty minutes left before the mall closed.

God, I hope this customer won’t be picky or take all fucking day.

Slapping on the best fake smile she could, Eris exited the dressing room in search of who’d she’d be helping. The store was pretty empty, with all of the employees preparing for closing, but as soon as she stepped on the floor, a woman wearing a fur coat immediately came into vision.

“Hi. Welcome to the Lingerie department. I apologize about the wait. I’m Eris. How may I help you tonight?”

When Emery turned around from skimming through the clearance rack of panties, the frown on her face immediately faded when her eyes landed upon the sales associate. She was instantly drawn to the plump and succulent lips on her face that were painted in a shade of nude lip color by Fenty. Her thick eyebrows were waxed and arched to perfection, complimenting well with her slanted, doe-shaped eyes, and square-round, Armani, prescription glasses.

A black, form-fitting dress with gold zippers along the sides stopped below her knees. Paired with black, polka dot tights and grey, Triple Bailey Button UGG Boots, she looked fabulous in her work attire.

Eris couldn’t help but blush when she ran her hair behind her ear to get it out of her face. Her customer was eyeballing her like a tender rump roast, and it shocked her that a woman was observing her like she was the best thing she’d laid an eye on all day.

“Emery Donatella. Nice to meet you, Ms. Eris. Cute name, by the way. It fits you.”

Eris’ eyes grew twice their normal size when she finally recognized who her customer was.

“You mean, Emery Donatella, that owns E. Binx clothing line in Atlanta?”

Emery smiled brightly and even laughed a little from the perplexity written all over Eris’ face.

“Yes, ma’am. You know my work?”

“Do I know you work?! I love it! I stalk your website every day to make sure I don’t miss your debut for the plus-sized line that’s coming out!” They shared a laugh succeeding her excitement before Eris got it together. “I’m sorry to get off-topic. It’s just a pleasure to meet you. How can I help you today?”

  E. Binx Boutique rang loud in the world of social media, just like Shane Justin and Gsuwoo did. It might’ve taken her a few years to blow up, but once both Jessica Dime and B. Simone were spotted wearing two custom made ensembles by Emery four years ago, she’d been hot and in her bag, ever since.

Shorty made her debut in the A back in 2013 and was determined to make a name for herself. She went from selling her hand-made dresses and sets from out the trunk of her outdated, 5-series BMW to owning a store and pushing a maroon-colored Spider Ferrari in five years. It wa
sn’t easy at all, but Emery didn’t believe in failure. Failure was accepting your non-achievements, and that’s something she would never do.

“No, you’re fine,” Emery assured as she admired Eris’ curvaceous frame. “I get it all the time now. It’s exciting to see people from my hometown rooting for me. You know it’s mad haters out here.”

  “You’re from St. Louis?!”

“Born and raised. Westside all day, baby.”

“That’s wassup! I love to see our people blow up. You right, it is a lot of hate out here, but there’s also so much talent too.”

“No lie, it really is. I’m actually here tonight hosting a fashion show down at the Rustic Goat. Long story short, I needed a new outfit but didn’t bring the right lingerie with me. So I’m here bothering you right before closing. I have my outfit with me, but I’ll need your help deciding if I should do a red or black accent for the panties and bra.”

Eris swallowed a lump in her throat when Emery held up the sets. She worked with women four days a week, eight hours each evening. This should’ve been a breeze for her. Maybe it was the look in Emery’s eyes or the cute little way she smiled and raised her brow that had her so…discombobulated. She had to eternally check herself once again before showing her to a room for further help.

“Alrighty, Ms. Donatella. I’ll be right outside in the waiting area. You can give me a holler once you’ve got your first set on.”

  “You’re not gonna stay?”

Emery didn’t bother to look over her shoulder as she hung her trench coat up on the hook. She knew Eris was watching her, and the mirror aligning the wall isn’t what gave that away. She knew shorty was feeling her vibe. Reading people was one of her best attributes.

“Umm…o-kay. If you’re comfortable with that, then I guess it’s okay.”

  “Are you comfortable with that?”

Emery was a sneaky lil’ bitch and she knew it. When she turned around to look Eris in the eye, her damn shirt was already off. And she was fine, too. Her smooth, gingerbread-colored skin tone housed a glow like she was a honey roasted Black goddess. The over-the-knee Timberland boots added five more inches to her five-foot-two frame, but once she came out of them, Eris could see that she was on the shorter side.

Chile, the woman was voluptuous in all the right places, just like ya favorite stripper. Her breasts were perky and round, compliments of a lift, but that hourglass shape, those mesmerizing hips, and that round, jiggly ass had been handed down right from her mama.

She favored Yung Miami from the City Girls rap group, and Eris had to admit that she was one of the baddest bitches she’d ever seen before from St. Louis. The jet black, blunt-cut bob she rocked framed her pretty face with perfection. Her brown eyes glowed in the lighting, appearing as two beautiful pools of melted copper that you could just dip your fingers in.

When she removed her maroon-colored, velour jogging pants, Eris felt her heart stop. The print of Emery’s pussy was sinfully juicy. Her bikini wax was fresh, her thighs were thick with a few speckles of cellulite that made Eris lose her breath, and the tattoos that climbed up her hips and sides gave her a sexy edge to match that STL/ATL twang embedded onto her tongue.

“I’m-I’m fine,” she finally responded while rapidly blinking her long, mink eyelashes.

  “You are.”

  “Excuse me?”

Emery’s succulent breasts came spilling out of her bra once she unhooked it and laid it along the bench with the rest of her clothes.

“I said that you’re fine, ma. Real shit, you are. Witcha’ juicy ass. Figuratively and literally speaking. How long have you worked here?”

Out of nervousness, Eris ran her natural, twenty-eight inches of hair behind her ear, once again, to buy some time to think.

Get a fucking grip, girl. Got damn!

“Th-three years come this February. I can do this shit in my sleep. Do you mind?”

Emery nodded her head for approval when her fidgety helper pointed towards her garment bag.

“Oh, shit. This is fire. I already know you gon’ look good in this bitch.”

Eris cursed to herself following her response. She was being everything but professional with this woman and felt like a fucking pervert. She couldn’t help the way she kept stealing looks at the body that most bitches came out of an arm and a leg for.

She was thankful that her manager’s husband had showed up early tonight. Cookie thought Eris was oblivious to the fact that they stayed fucking in the employee’s coatroom before he went to work the night shift, but she knew. It was just none of her business to be going around discussing another woman’s affairs.

  “I’m sorry. Please—”

Emery held a finger up to Eris’ lips with the raise of a brow.

“No need to explain. I’d rather have your help with adjusting this bra.”

“Hold that thought right quick.” Eris walked over to the second set of lingerie and grabbed the red thong. After seeing her outfit, an idea flashed in her head that she thought would make a different yet sexy look. “Black bra, red panties.”

  “Okay. Get me together first.”

Eris ran her hands up and down her hips a few times to warm them up before she started getting Emery adjusted in the DKNY attire.

“Perfect,” she expressed after tightening the last bra strap.

“Do you like women, Ms. Eris?”

She couldn’t hide the way her cheeks turned rosy red in a matter of two seconds. Her mind was saying, yes, but her conscience kept her mute. Emery may have been blue-check official on the ‘Gram and all, but they didn’t know each other. No one on this earth knew she was attracted to a nice fat ass, pretty titties, and a beautiful camel toe.

No one but her gay best friend, Paris, and she told him everything. Plus, he’d caught her eyes lingering a little too long at a couple of women when they were out in public. He knew his bestie loved her a pair of seductive hips and a nice fat ass, and he’d never knock her for it.

  Women were fucking beautiful!

The Lord showed up, and He showed out when He carved the curves of a woman from man’s rib. She honestly couldn’t help it that yoni got her pussy just as wet as a big, Black dick did. It was her truth, but that was also her business that she felt the need not to broadcast. She didn’t want everybody knowing her like that, and it had nothing to do with embarrassment.

  She just liked her privacy.

“Don’t lie to me, Eris. Tell me the truth.”

She’d known from social media that Emery had a little fire in her pit. But after being face-to-face with her, it came off more seductive than aggressive, and Eris was highly turned on.

How could she hold her tongue?

“I do. I just feel like—”

“That’s your business along with the woman you’re dealing with. I used to be like that. Have you ever been in a relationship with a woman or just sexual?”

“Sexual. We all have our guilty pleasures.”

“I swear. Plus, I can tell that you like to please. You give off that vibe. Correct me if I’m wrong.”

Emery looked back at Eris once she pulled the red and black, leopard print, catsuit up over her shoulders. The mesh material clung to her frame like intricately threaded silk, enhancing all of her curves. It also complemented exquisitely with her skin tone.

“You gon’ be wrong for stunting on every bitch down at RG tonight. That’s what.”

“So you’re not shy?” Emery smiled as she turned around and sauntered towards her juicy prey.

Her hips swayed from side to side like a mesmerizing pendulum, and Eris’ wondering irises were glued to the rhythm. She was now sitting on the bench resting her feet because God knows she was tired after the day she had.

“I never said that. I just—”

“Never had a woman hit on you before?”

“Not one as fine as you.”

Emery took matters into her own hands and straddled her lap. Eris was a healthy sized eighte
en in women’s, and Em loved a woman who could handle her slim-thick frame. She loved to cuddle too, and the voluptuous lady, who’s hands were now gripping her ass cheeks, would be the perfect candidate to lay up with in this winter weather.

“I’m single. Are you single, Eris? Can I call you Eri? And even if you aren’t, I’mma just have to take you from yo’ man ‘cause it’s obvious that you’re not being treated right. You need a bitch like me that’s gon’ love on you just as much as you love on people, and I’mma be that for you. Maybe it’s just the Mary Jane I smoked on my way up here. I don’t go around doing this shit for fun, so I’m not tryna play you. I think you’re cute, I find you very attractive, and since we’re both kinda pressed for time tonight, I figured I’d lay this shit on the table so we can exchange numbers. Can I kiss you? I’mma do it anyway, but I ain’t wanna be rude.”

A shock ran up Em’s spine when Eris stuck her tongue out and sexily wiggled it, basically telling her to come here. A seductive moan escaped both their lips when Emery took it in her mouth, wishing it was the pretty, pink clit between her legs that she wanted to taste.

She’d always lived her life on the edge.

  Had always been outgoing.

Was always determined to get whatever is that she wanted.

She didn’t expect their kiss to be so fucking arousing. A storm so heavy was brewing in the center of her sacred place that it made her nub catch convulsions. Eris was sucking on her lips and tongue like she’d waited her entire life for this very moment, and the attraction was dangerous. Emery pressed her breasts against Eri’s bosom, loving the friction against her blossomed nipples.

Faint moans filled the air that the surround sound speakers thankfully drowned out.

It was getting hot up in that dressing room. So damn hot, that Emery had to remove her hands from the sides of Eri’s face so she could come out of the catsuit and take this shit to the next level.

They stared into one another’s irises as the back of Em’s bra was swiftly unhooked and removed by her new female friend. Half the time, Eris couldn’t explain what a pair of pretty titties did to her. She pushed them both together and took the right nipple into her mouth, slurping on it to get it wet before she gnawed down and started flickering her tongue in a quick motion.
