Peter moved out of the way, so Chaz could climb out and dry off. He stayed close, just

in case Chaz needed any help. Once Chaz was dressed, Peter wandered out into the

bedroom. Chaz was a grown man, and, while he might be wounded, he didn’t need Peter

  hovering over him.

He got the heating pad set up, then a thought hit him. “Hey, Chaz, I’ll be right back.”

“All right.” Chaz appeared in the doorway. “I’ll be here. Not really interested in doing

anything except lying in that bed.”

“Good. You shouldn’t be moving around much tonight. We’ll get you doing some stuff

tomorrow. Hopefully, it’ll help loosen up some of your muscles.”

He headed back to his room, then dug through the bottles in his bathroom. Peter

grabbed the massage oil that had come in a basket Lindsey, Randy’s sister-in-law, had sent him for his birthday one year. He wasn’t a professional masseur, but he thought he’d be able to help Chaz get some knots out.

When he got back to Chaz’s room, Chaz was stretched out on the bed, naked as the day

he was born. Peter froze, his eyes drawn to Chaz’s tight ass. Christ! He wanted to take a bite of it. He’d seen some things on the pornos he’d like to try, and rimming was one of them.

Peter had actually looked it up online to find out what they called it. Hmmm…maybe he

would have to try that after he was done with the massage.

He shook off his daze, then asked, “Are you still awake?”

“Yes. It’d be rude to fall asleep when you were going to be coming back.”

After approaching the bed, Peter sat so Chaz could see him. He held up the bottle of oil.

“I thought I’d give you a massage. Have you ever had one before?”

Chaz wrinkled his nose while he thought. “Not a professional one.”

Peter laughed. “I guess you’d get something when you’re doing some foreplay with

  someone.”

“Of course, touching is part of sex. At some points, it’s even better than the actual

fucking.” Chaz reached out to trail his fingers over the curve of Peter’s knee. “Are you going to massage me?”

“Your back. I’ll think about other parts of your body later.” Peter started to straddle

  Chaz’s hips.

Chaz shook his head. “You should strip. Don’t want to get oil all over your clothes. Oh,

and maybe you should grab a couple of towels out of the bathroom. We already got the

comforter dirty earlier. Margie might get pissed off if we mess up the sheets as well.”

Good thing Chaz was thinking, because Peter wouldn’t have thought of any of it. He

got everything set up like Chaz had suggested, then he stripped. Once he was ready, he

pinched Chaz’s ass, but it quickly turned into a caress.

  “Ready?”

Chaz mumbled something into his pillow, and Peter assumed he was saying yes. He

placed his knees on each side of Chaz’s hips. His cock brushed along Chaz’s crease, and they both moaned.

He rocked again, and Chaz lifted his hips slightly to push back. “I want your ass again,”

  Peter told Chaz.

“You can have it whenever you want,” Chaz offered.

“I’ll take you up on that some other time. Right now, we need to get you even more

  relaxed.”

He opened the bottle and poured some oil in the palm of his hand. He managed to close

the bottle, then he set it aside. Peter rubbed his palms together, warming the liquid before rubbing it on Chaz’s back.

“I’m going to start now,” he warned Chaz.

“Go ahead. If I fall asleep, do whatever you want to me. I’m sure I won’t mind.”

Peter leant forward and pressed a kiss to the nape of Chaz’s neck. “I think you’ll feel a lot better after I’m done.”

He began by kneading Chaz’s shoulders, working his way down the man’s back. Peter

started out being gentle, and Chaz shifted a little, but didn’t really react. The longer he massaged, the harder he used his hands. Chaz grunted a few times, causing Peter to stop to make sure he was going all right.

“I’m fine, honey. You can keep going. I’ll let you know if it hurts.”

He lost track of time as he worked the knots out of Chaz’s muscles. Chaz sighed and

relaxed. It was only when Peter’s hands started to cramp that he stopped.

“I can’t go on any longer, Chaz.” He flopped to the side, holding his hands out so he

didn’t touch any of the sheets.

Chaz didn’t reply, and Peter looked to see Chaz was fast asleep, his breathing even. He

looked so young that Peter realised just how much pain Chaz must have been in every day.

Peter made a vow to give Chaz a massage every night. He was going to look online to see

what else he might be able to do to help his lover with his back problems. Anything to keep Chaz off the pills.

After rolling off the bed, Peter went to wash his hands. He returned to find that Chaz

hadn’t moved an inch. He smiled as he climbed back into bed, then snuggled close to Chaz, doing his best not to wake the man up.

He hoped it ended up the best night of sleep Chaz had had in a long time.

Peter stretched as he opened his eyes. He blinked once to try to figure out where he

was. It was hearing someone singing in the bathroom that helped him remember he was in

  Chaz’s room.

Sunlight shone in through the windows, and Peter smiled up at the ceiling. Sounded

like someone had had a good night’s sleep. Peter turned to look over at the bathroom as the door opened.

Chaz walked in, towelling his hair dry as he entered. Peter swallowed at the gorgeous

sight of naked male headed his way. Oh, he’d done something right at some point in his life to be given the gift of having Chaz in his bed.

  “Did you sleep well?”

His question caused Chaz to jump. Glancing over at him, Chaz grinned.

“Hell yes. Man, you can do that to me any time you want. My back has never felt so

  good.”

Chaz fell into bed, then grabbed Peter to pull him close. Peter shut his eyes as Chaz

kissed him. Chaz played with Peter’s tongue and drew a moan from him. After reaching

down, he gripped two firm cheeks. He squeezed Chaz’s ass, causing Chaz to rock against

  him.

Their cocks rubbed together, reminding Peter that he was as naked as Chaz. It was

perfect—he liked feeling Chaz’s skin on his. As they continued to move in sync with each

other, pre-cum leaked from Peter’s cock to help ease the friction just a little.

“I wanted to fuck you,” Chaz muttered in Peter’s ear.

“You can do that later. I don’t want to stop doing this.” Peter tightened his hold on

Chaz, encouraging the man to move faster.

He pushed his hips up to meet each of Chaz’s thrusts. Peter groaned and his cum

spilled between them. A few seconds later, Chaz grunted, then more warm liquid coated

  their skin.

Chaz slumped down on top of Peter, and Peter ran his hands up and down Chaz’s

sweat-covered back. When he caught his breath, he chuckled.

“I guess you’re going to have to take another shower,” he joked.

“That’s a good thing because you can join me this time.”

“I can, but there can’t be any fooling around. I have to get to work soon.” Peter patted

&n
bsp; Chaz’s butt. “How’s your back feeling now?”

After thinking for a moment, Chaz smiled. “It’s still feeling good. Let’s get going. I

don’t want Margie coming in search of you.”

Peter winced. Just the thought of Margie catching them in the middle of having sex

freaked him out. He considered her his substitute mother, and it would probably scar her for life.

“Peter, there’s a phone call for you.” Margie’s voice came through the door.

“Holy shit, man. How did she know we were talking about her?” Chaz whispered.

Peter shook his head. “Can you take a message, Margie? I can call them back in twenty

  minutes.”

  “It’s your uncle.”

“Fuck.” Peter shot up in bed, catching Chaz before the man fell over the edge. “Sorry,

  Chaz.”

Chaz settled back on the mattress, watching him. “No problem, man.”

“I’ll be right there, Margie,” he yelled as he ran to the bathroom.

After cleaning the cum off, he dressed in his sleep shorts and T-shirt. Before he left, he brushed a kiss over Chaz’s forehead.

“Clean up before coming to the kitchen. I’m pretty sure Margie will have breakfast

ready when you get there. I really need to take this phone call.”

“Go on, Peter. I can take care of myself.”

Peter dashed down the hallway to the office, then, after shutting the door, he went to

  pick up the phone.

  “Hello, Uncle Roscoe?”

“Hi, Peter. I really wanted to talk to you before I go to the hospital.” Uncle Roscoe had an interesting accent that Peter hadn’t noticed the day before.

What his uncle had said suddenly hit him. “You’re going to the hospital to see

  Mother?”

He dropped into the chair behind the desk. Bracing his elbow on the surface, he

couldn’t imagine how that scene would go when Uncle Roscoe showed up there.

“Yes, I am. Like I said, she was the only one who was nice to me, and actually protested

when your grandfather kicked me out of the house. I owe it to her to at least show up and let her know that I do appreciate what she did.”

“Fine with me, but why do you want to talk to me? I’ve been disowned as well.” Peter

rubbed his forehead. “I suggest, if they let you into the room, you don’t mention me at all.”

Uncle Roscoe sighed. “I know what’s been going on, Peter. I have connections in the

town keeping me informed about the family. How do you think I came to be here?”

To be honest, Peter wasn’t surprised there were people telling his uncle what was

happening around town. What did surprise him was the fact that Roscoe had chosen to come

  back.

  Chapter Nine

“I don’t mean to be an asshole, but why the fuck did you come back now? Don’t tell me

it’s just because of my mother.”

The rustle of clothes caught his attention and he looked up to see Chaz standing in the

office doorway. Chaz mouthed, “Are you all right?”

Peter rolled his eyes, but nodded.

“There are many reasons why I couldn’t come back until now, and I’d like to meet with

you to explain.” Uncle Roscoe sounded sincere.

“Why me? I’m not a part of the family anymore, and what makes you think I’d care?”

Peter cringed at his obnoxious tone. God, he didn’t want to sound like a complete brat.

“Peter, I’m not part of that family either, but I didn’t disown you, and I want us to get to know each other. Maybe we can be each other’s family, blood-related, because I know

you’ve made friends who care about you. I don’t expect you to welcome me with open arms.

  I just want a chance.”

Peter stared at Chaz, but his mind raced. “If you get in to see my mother, will you call

me afterwards to tell me how she is? I’ve tried to get in there a couple of times, and they turn me away. She says she doesn’t have a son.”

“I can’t believe your mother would say that about you. Not the woman who stood up to

your grandfather like she did for me. What’s changed?” Roscoe asked.

“I don’t know. As far as I’m concerned nothing’s changed for me. I’ve always known, if

I came out, every one of them would shun me. I swear it’s like living with a cult or

something, and those who don’t drink the Kool-Aid get kicked out.”

Chaz edged closer, and Peter motioned for him to sit in one of the chairs. He watched as

Chaz sat, then propped his elbows on his knees. Peter met his gaze, and saw understanding in it.

Roscoe inhaled sharply. “I’d heard that’s why you got disowned. I wasn’t sure it was

true, but it didn’t surprise me.”

“Didn’t surprise you? How would you have known I was gay before I ever did?”

  www.total-e-bound.com

  LEAVING HOME T.A. Chase 93

“That’s not what I meant. I meant it didn’t surprise me that was the reason why they

turned their backs on you. Father never could accept anyone being different from him, and what he thought was the right way of things.”

Peter grunted, and looked at the clock on the wall. “I’d love to chat with you some

more, Uncle Roscoe, but I can’t do it now. I have to get to work.”

“I know, but can I stop by the ranch tonight so we can talk some more? I’ll explain to

you why I got kicked out, and maybe be able to tell you something about your mother.”

He thought about it, and decided he really was interested in finding out more about his

uncle. “All right. You know where I live, right?”

  “Yes.”

“Then show up around six, and have dinner with us,” he offered.

“I will. See you tonight, Peter.”

Roscoe hung up, and Peter let the phone drop down into its cradle. He looked at Chaz

  and sighed.

“Why did he have to show up now?”

“Your uncle?” Chaz stood before walking over to where Peter sat. He took Peter’s hand

and helped him to his feet.

“Yes.” Peter allowed Chaz to lead him out of the office into the hallway. “It’s bad

enough I get denied every time I go to the hospital, but now I have to deal with a strange uncle waiting to become my best friend. The only thing we have in common is that my

grandfather was an asshole to both of us.”

Chaz raised his eyebrows. “It’s a start. I mean, some families don’t even have that much

in common, but they hold together. Look, Peter, just hear the man out. You don’t have to

love him because he’s your flesh and blood. You just have to listen to him.”

Margie was standing by the sink when they walked in. She turned to look at them, then

  frowned. “What’s wrong?”

“Not sure if anything is wrong, but I wanted to let you know my uncle will be joining

us for dinner tonight. I told him to show up at six.” Peter grabbed a mug from in front of the coffee pot. He filled it, then added some milk.

“All right. I was planning on having burgers.” Margie narrowed her eyes as she gazed

at Chaz. “You’re looking better than I’ve seen you.”

  www.total-e-bound.com

Chaz grinned. “I’m feeling a lot better. Peter worked all the kinks out of my muscles

last night, and I had the best night of sleep I’ve had in a long time.”

Peter blushed because somehow that sounded more
suggestive than it should have.

Margie didn’t even blink. She merely nodded, then turned back to the sink where she was

  rinsing dishes.

“Your breakfast is staying warm in the oven,” she informed them.

“Thanks for that,” Peter said as he went to the stove to grab the plates.

Chaz picked up the silverware and their drinks, then carried them to the table. After

setting the food on the table, Peter sat. He looked at the meal, and realised he wasn’t hungry.

He pushed the plate away from him before standing.

“I’m sorry, Margie, but I’m not really that hungry anymore.”

He didn’t wait around to hear what she had to say. Peter walked back to the office, then

shut the door. His mind wasn’t on work, yet he knew he had some things to take care of. All the thoughts about his family raced around his mind, and he sighed.

Why did all this shit have to happen while Les and Randy were gone? He never

thought it would be his family that caused him stress instead of all the businesses he worked with.

Chaz opened the door, then looked in. “Do you want to be alone?”

Peter shook his head. “Not really, but I’m not going to be good company at the

  moment.”

“Why don’t you go grab a shower? It might help clear your mind,” Chaz suggested.

“You’re right. I can’t think about anything at the moment.” Peter stood. “Do you want

to look around the ranch after I get done? I think Les will understand why I don’t have some files taken care of when he calls.”

“Sure.” Chaz brushed his fingers over Peter’s cheek as he walked past. “It’ll be all right, Peter. No matter what your uncle has to say, you’ve still got a great big family here who loves you and cares about you.”

Peter gave Chaz a quick kiss before he wandered down the hall to his room.

Peter and Chaz practically fell into the kitchen from the mud room at the back of the

house. As Peter laughed, he grabbed Chaz’s arm to keep him from hitting the floor. Margie wrinkled her nose at the mess they were making. Peter glanced down at his clothes, covered with hay and dirt.
