“Even while you held me captive, I loved you.”
“I had never met a woman as stubborn as you. At first you amused me, and then …”
She cocked her head to see his face. “What?”
“And then I became slave and you became master.”
She rubbed her lower body against his and smiled. “Although I am a princess royal, I consider you my equal.”
His laughter was deep and filled her heart.
“Do not torture me any longer,” he said, drawing off his tunic.
She snuggled close to him while he caressed her naked body, looking at the changes in it. His hand moved over her breasts. “These are fuller,” he said in wonder.
“Yes. That happens when a woman is with child.”
His hand moved over her slightly rounded stomach. He bent and touched his lips to the gentle swell. “I never thought about children until I met you.”
Her arms went around him. “We shall have many.”
He touched his lips to hers and nudged her legs apart. When he slid into her warmth, he trembled over and over.
She smiled, as only a woman can when she is sure of the man she loves.
