Galactic Bandits 1

by Duke Campbell

He sidestepped the king attack after attack without his weapon. There were several blows that came close, but Regan kept himself calm. He wouldn’t let the pressure in. He knew his training.

Finally Regan was in a place where he could get to his ax. He rolled under the swinging sword and when he got back to his feet, he had the ax in his hand. He moved the tip of it into position.

And when the king raised the sword to strike, Regan moved quickly toward the arm. He sliced it right off.

The king screamed, and the audience gasped. The Brute King’s bloody arm fell to the ground still holding the sword. Blood sprayed from his stub, which he capped with his other hand as he fell to his knees.

Regan knew this was it. He knew there was one more action to take, and when the faces of Straya, Arkei, and the Empath flashed before him, he didn’t hesitate. As soon as the Brute King’s knees hit the ground, Regan swung the ax and sliced his head clean off.

The place was on its feet cheering. This actually surprised Regan. And though he knew perception was important, he fell to his knees. The pain in his side was too much. He wouldn’t be fighting any more battles here, anyway. He was ready to leave this planet.

The king’s entourage rushed out to the field and surrounded Regan, hoisting him up onto the king’s throne. The movement hurt tremendously. Regan’s head fell back into the large chair.

Straya and Arkei were at his side in moments, congratulating him, but also realizing that he wasn’t in the best condition.

“We demand the Empath be handed over to us this instant!” Arkei shouted at the king’s entourage. And they did so. They released her bounds and carried over her in haste. She climbed onto the king’s float and knelt before Regan. She didn’t need to be told what to do.

She placed her hands on his punctured side and did her magic. It was familiar now to Regan and he began to feel relief as soon as he saw her. She healed him, then threw her arms around him, her lips touching his ear.

  “Thank you,” she whispered.

They carried the group back to Arkei’s ship where they were given many gifts and well wishes. There seemed to be no concern that Regan had killed their king. It was clear this civilization lived for the sake of battle alone. They celebrated it, and nothing else. The king failed in battle, so his death wasn’t to be grieved. One of their up-and-coming warriors would take the king’s place soon enough.

Regan received the king’s sword as well. Even though it was too large for him to carry, he accepted it graciously.

Arkei boarded first, followed by Straya and the Empath, then Regan, who felt like a warrior, and also a king.

Inside, Arkei told them to get comfortable in the lounge while she set the coordinates and got them off this planet.

“Straya,” she said. “Please make sure the Empath is comfortable and has everything she needs.”

Straya escorted the Empath to the lounge, with Regan following behind while enjoying the view of the ladies’ tight rears.

The lounge was the most pristine room Regan had seen on Arkei’s ship. She must not have used it much, hence its lack of wear and tear. He sat on the sofa opposite the two women, taking a moment to look at Straya. “You know, you aren’t our prisoner anymore,” he said. “We won’t stop you if you want to leave.”

Straya smiled at him and shook her head. “I don’t want to go anywhere.”

Regan smiled back. He was glad to hear this. He then looked at the Empath.

“You’re no longer a slave either. We simply ask for your help to heal somebody who is in cryostasis. You’re free to leave after this task.” Regan then paused and considered the fact that he didn’t even know the Empath’s name. “Before we start, what do I call you?”

The Empath smiled and leaned forward.

“You may call me Reverie,” she said. “And you saved my life. I will do whatever you ask. I have no wish to leave. I prefer to serve a just man, which you are.”

“Nice to meet you, Reverie,” Regan said. “And… uh… well, I’m glad you think so.”

  She smiled at him warmly.

“I am happy to revive this person, but know that I have drained my abilities aiding your wounds on the battlefield.”

“Oh,” Regan said, not seeing that coming. He was about to speak when Straya spoke up first.

“Reverie, like all Empaths, gains her power through… intimate affection.” Straya smirked, clearly liking the implications of that.

Did she just say what I think she said?

  Reverie nodded without shame.

“Yes, my powers can be restored easily,” she said directly. “I just require pleasure.”

“So… you want me to… pleasure you?” Regan asked. “For real?”

“Not just pleasure me,” Reverie said as she reached out and touched his leg. “Share pleasure with me.”

Regan noticed strange sensations beginning to flow through him. It was coming from her hands.

  Straya leaned toward them.

“The more pleasure shared with an Empath, the more power she generates,” Straya said.

“You are likely starting to feel that right now,” Reverie said.

  Hell yeah, I am.

“When we touch, you feel whatever pleasure I feel,” she continued and moved over to the sofa he was sitting on, rubbing her hands all over him. “And I feel whatever pleasure you feel.”

Straya joined them on the sofa, sitting beside Reverie. She began feeling Reverie’s body and kissing her neck. She looked at Regan while she did so, cupping Reverie’s breasts in her chameleon grip.

“And whatever pleasure I feel,” Straya said. “The two of you will feel.”

Reverie turned and started kissing Straya. Straya’s hands moved up and down Reverie’s body while Reverie’s hands rubbed Regan’s thighs and chest. And Regan felt all of it.

  This is crazy!

He could taste Reverie through Straya and Straya through Reverie. He could feel the heat that Straya’s hands brought to Reverie’s body. And after a few moments, the two women undressed each other.

  They then faced Regan.

Reverie began kissing his lips passionately while Straya began kissing his cock. Because they could all feel the pleasure, they moved in sync. As Reverie’s tongue became more aggressive inside Regan’s mouth, Straya’s tongue behaved the same.

  I need four hands!

Regan felt Reverie all over. He rubbed, touched, pinched, and inserted. With his other hand he ran his fingers through Straya’s hair. He pulled it and moved with her pace, sometimes leading the pace himself.

Then the women adjusted themselves, with Straya’s lips crawling up Regan’s body to his face and Reverie sitting on him, his cock entering her tight and wet insides. It wasn’t just fucking. It was an experience of pleasure Regan had never experienced, that he didn’t know was possible.

I’m willingly never going back to Earth.

Straya kissed Regan while Reverie fucked him. He could feel the pleasure that Reverie was receiving from his cock. He could feel the pleasure she was receiving from Straya’s hands rubbing her body. They could all feel everything.

But it didn’t take him long before excitement got the better of him. He realized then they could all feel this. And he could feel their excitement of him about to cum, and since they too received the pleasure, they too had to release. Regan could feel it building up inside each of them.

And in one amazing exhale, the three of them came together and shared in an orgasm that Regan had no words for. They held each other close and continued to rub and touch, but the release brought them into a tight huddle of smiles.

They rested their heads on his shoulders. And Regan felt like he could sit there feeling them forever. They each kissed his cheeks and neck at the same time.

Regan had no cares in the world. Except…

  Shit, I forgot about Bob.

  Chapter Twelve

Right as Regan remembered they were supposed to be reviving Bob, Ark
ei entered the lounge to find him sitting naked on the sofa with Straya and Reverie on either side of him, also naked. She paused for a moment at the door, but she didn’t react with jealousy or anger. She kept her composure and cleared her throat to get their attention.

The girls looked up. They made eye contact for a moment, which made Regan freeze. But Arkei simply arched a brow and looked at his naked body. She took it all in, her eyes moving up and down his body. She inhaled, and that’s when she cleared her throat.

“Our ship has left the Brute atmosphere and we are on our way to the outskirts of the galaxy,” Straya and Reverie started to put their clothes on, and so did Regan. “So,” Arkei continued. “It’s time to revive Bob.”

Arkei turned to leave the lounge, but then paused and looked back at the group. “I trust enough pleasure was shared that reviving the human will not be a problem.”

She chuckled to herself before leaving them, as if she were above such carnal pleasures.

Regan, of course, knew her better than that.

Arkei pulled Bob’s cryochamber out from the wall, his body still under the glass shielding. Regan couldn’t help but think of all the sci-fi movies he’d watched throughout his life. He was now seeing it for real: a human in cryostasis.

A screen on Bob’s chamber displayed his vitals, and they weren’t looking too good, even to Regan. He also noticed a bandage on the side of Bob’s head.

“What happened to this human?” Reverie asked. “His brain activity is very strange, and it’s from more than a lack of oxygen or blood flow.”

“Yeah…” Arkei said, then paused. She scratched her raven hair. “Well, after I froze him, I drilled into his brain cavity to remove the Universal Translator chip that I had implanted in him previously. It didn’t come out as easily as I thought it would.”

The group all looked at Arkei in surprise.

“I had to give it to Regan,” she explained defensively. “Mephistopheles only gave me one, so I had to make do. I didn’t think this human would end up being useful later on.”

“Why didn’t you just get another Universal Translator chip?” Regan asked, as if the solution would be that obvious.

  “They’re expensive. Restrictively so.”

“For undocumented species,” Straya added. “Otherwise they’re distributed freely to all other documented races by the Intergalactic Council.” Straya then turned to Reverie. “You can still repair him?”

  Reverie smiled and nodded.

“I can,” she said. “I’ll just need another large dose of pleasure to regain my power after. This procedure will probably wipe me out.”

Straya winked at her. “That won’t be a problem.”

Regan could only shake his head at the dialogue exchanged.

Damn. I love all these babes. You can’t make this shit up.

Arkei began pushing buttons on the control panel, and Bob’s cryochamber started to glow with bright colors. It was like the light was pulsing with his heart beat. Regan thought of Han Solo frozen in Carbonite, which would make Arkei Princess Leia, defrosting him.

And that makes me Luke fucking Skywalker.

Except the whole her being my sister thing.

Regan smiled. The possibilities in space seemed limitless, from sex to coming back from the dead… Space made shit possible. Regan was digging it.

When the thawing process completed, the glass shield slid up and exposed Bob to the group. It was then that Reverie put her hands on him, one on his chest and the other on the hole through his skull.

Regan thought of what Bob must be feeling, even if he was only partially alive. He knew the warmth from Reverie’s hands would be flooding through him and how he would wake up with wonderful sensations of new life.

But when Bob opened his eyes, it was just the opposite.

From the chamber, Bob quickly looked all around him without moving his head. He saw Regan first, seemed relieved, but then he saw three alien babes and screamed.

He leaped from the cryochamber and backed away from them, full of panic, shock, and fear.

Regan raised his arms and began walking toward Bob.

  “It’s okay,” he began.

Bob started rattling off what sounded like a string of profanities, but in a different, vaguely familiar language.

Regan turned to the girls. “I think he’s Japanese.”

  “What’s Japanese?” Reverie asked.

  “It’s a nationality. It’s, well… Shit… He’s got his own damn language that I can’t understand.”

“Humans can’t understand other humans?” Arkei asked.

“I mean, yes, they can,” Regan tried. “But there are parts of the planet that speak differently than others.”

“No wonder humans are such a warring race,” Straya commented. “They can’t even talk to each other.”

This whole time, Bob looked like he was going through a mild existential crisis. He started hyperventilating.

“Okay,” Regan began. “We gotta put him in isolation or something. I think you girls are freaking him out.”

“On it,” Straya said. She then leaped at Bob and tackled him to the ground. She bound his hands and dragged him from the room.

  “Don’t hurt him!” Regan added.

“Don’t worry. I know of your compassion,” Straya said, hoisting Bob up over her shoulder. “He’s going to the cell where you locked me up.”

She carried him out of the room like he was a piece of luggage. Regan found it amusing, but he also felt bad for Bob.

Arkei closed the cryochamber and pressed a button so that it retreated into the wall. She then turned to Regan and Reverie.

“Command room,” she said. And the remaining three followed.

In the hallway, they could hear Bob’s ongoing cries of panic. It was all one-sided until a loud “SHUT THE FUCK UP!” erupted from Straya’s mouth. Bob’s complaints appeared to cease then.

But it only lasted for a moment, as Bob started running his mouth off again.

“You have to be kidding me,” Regan said.

“We should have left him frozen,” Arkei stated.

In the command room, Arkei brought up a map of what Regan assumed was the galaxy surrounding them, within a certain proximity.

  Straya entered shortly after.

“That human is a pain in the ass,” she said. “I don’t understand why we had to wake him up at all! Why not just heal him and hand him over frozen?”

“That’s the thing,” Arkei began. “I wanted to make sure we could revive him first before I mentioned this… but we need to install another Universal Translator chip in him. If he doesn’t have one, Mephistopheles will know something’s up. He expects all specimens I bring to him to have chips installed.”

Regan mulled over this new information. So yet another fetch quest, huh? But then again, it’d be nice to communicate with Bob and explain the situation to the kid. Regan felt like he owed Bob that much.

Arkei continued, “However, I don’t know how to get an unregistered Universal Translator…”

Straya pointed at the star map. “There’s a bazaar here. Lots of black market dealings. In fact, I know somebody who sells the chips cheap. He scavenges old ones off the victims of derelict ships, removes the chips before they can be tracked and reprogrammed. But there’s a little problem.”

  “What?” Regan asked.

“Well, he and I used to do a lot of business together, and I owe him a debt. He’ll do business with me again if it means he’ll finally get paid back. My debt isn’t much, but since you destroyed my ship, I have nothing to pay him with. So… you’d have to pay my debt first, before you can buy a chip from him.”

“What about all the items we looted?” Arkei asked.

“Or all the treasures given to us by the Brutes?” Reverie added.

Straya nodded, but Regan could tell she wasn’t thrilled. She looked at Regan and smiled, but it wasn’t a happy or satisfied smile.

  “We can try,
” she said. “I just feel bad, asking you to repay my debt. It’s my problem, not yours.”

Regan put a hand on her shoulder and squeezed it. “We’re in this together. If you’ve got a debt, we’ll take care of it.”

After a long pause, Straya said, “Thank you. I’ll make the introductions.”

The group all looked at each other.

“So we are in agreement then?” Regan asked.

  They all nodded.

“We stand with you, Regan,” Arkei said.

Well, damn, we’re heading to a space bazaar. How many humans have said that sentence?

  Chapter Thirteen

Regan, Arkei, Straya, and Reverie stepped off the ship into what Regan realized was essentially a giant space flea market. The ground was a mixture of metal and dirt, and a dome covered the entire planet, like a window to the stars.

Arkei explained to Regan that domes like this one allowed many species to survive the environment, regardless of the air they breathed. The entire area was a series of streets and pathways, lined with storefronts. Some storefronts were tent-like, while others were more stationary. Some even looked like magazine stands common in Earth cities.

Various species roamed through this area and made deals with others. The deal-making was aggressive too, with many vendors pushing customers around and vice versa. Regan even saw two fights break out over apparently stolen goods.

“It’s a tough place,” Regan said to the ladies, thinking out loud more than anything.

“A warrior like yourself shouldn’t worry,” Arkei said.

Straya was leading the group to the contact she had. She led them down several walkways and kept telling them, “It’s just a little farther.”

Regan noticed something else while walking around this place: the smells. Some of these huts or vendor stands had goods that smelled horrible, like grease or gasoline or other repair-related chemicals. But there were also some huts that had amazing smells. Regan saw various foods being cooked and though he couldn’t tell what they were, it was tantalizing to his senses.
