“Mate,” I repeated.
He slid into me in one long, slow stroke and I gasped. He groaned. My back arched, my hands went to his waist. He fucked me then, slow and steady, his lips on mine.
He swallowed my moans of pleasure until he finally lifted his head, looked me in the eye.
“It’s time.”
I nodded and angled my head. Offered myself. All of me.
“I love you,” I told him, giving him the only words that were necessary.
“I love you,” he replied, lowering his head to my neck. He didn’t wait, didn’t delay one second longer, piercing my skin with those sharp fangs.
The pain was searing but fleeting, replaced by an orgasm so fierce I almost blacked out. I felt him swell inside me. Stretch me. Thicken. I tried to move, but between his bite and the mating fist that now locked us together, I couldn’t go anywhere.
Zenos groaned against my neck, I felt the vibrations of it as our chests were pressed together. He came, filling me hotly with his seed, but he didn’t get smaller, didn’t pull out.
He couldn’t.
His fangs slipped from me, his tongue licking over the twin wounds at the base of my neck.
“Mine,” he growled and began to fuck me, as much as he could with us being locked together.
I cupped his ass, pulled him into me. The pleasure had never receded. I was on the brink of a second orgasm, which I knew would be as intense as the first.
I couldn’t stop it. I let go, gave in to what it was to be his.
“Ivy. You are mine,” he said as he came again and I followed.
“Mine!” I cried, lost in the pleasure.
This was what it was like being mates. Perfect. Whole. One with another.
I realized in that instant that Rogue 5 wasn’t my home. Astra Legion wasn’t my home. It was Zenos.
