"Fuck, that feels good," I croaked.
Charlotte was so warm and inviting, squeezing my cock so damn tightly while Adrien felt hot in my ass, his cock rubbing against my prostate. When he started pounding me faster, following the rhythm of my thrusts inside Charlotte, the pleasure became almost too much.
"It feels too good. I won't be able to hold it," I panted.
"I'm almost there," Charlotte said and stroked my hands holding her hips.
Many women needed a lot of stimulation to come during intercourse, which was something I enjoyed. The longer we played, the better. Charlotte, though, always came fast and easily, which was a different kind of fun. With her, the game was different. It consisted of making her orgasm multiple times in one hour. I knew she would get there before I did, so I let myself increase the pace, slamming inside her, turning my head to meet Adrien's full lips.
"Fuck me hard," I moaned.
Adrien hit deep inside my ass until my balls tightened and I reached the edge, burying myself in Charlotte to release inside her, her moans rising high along with mine. When she came, she squeezed my dick so damn much, I saw stars, making my head spin.
Adrien groaned and pulled out, removing the condom to jerk himself off until he shot his cum all over my lower back, groaning in his orgasm. I was still catching my breath when he gave me a peck on the cheek, then let himself drop by Charlotte's side to lead her into a long, languid kiss.
I pulled out of her, threw the rubber in the trash along with Adrien's, and dried myself, while Charlotte left for the bathroom. I joined them in bed when she returned and lay on her other side, nuzzling her neck. With his eyes on mine the entire time, Adrien grasped her chin between two fingers and kissed her deeply.
"That was so good," Charlotte said, her chest heaving when he pulled away. "I don't think I'll ever want to let you guys go."
Her cheeks were still flushed, her mascara running under her eyes, her long hair a wild, tangled mess. She was gorgeous, with sweat glistening on her skin as she rested there beside Adrien who ran his fingertips down the length of her stomach, kissing the side of her jaw. "Thank you for tonight, mon cœur. I really needed this."
I could have spent the whole night going, personally, but Charlotte soon fell asleep between us. Adrien gave me a look from over her body and smiled at me.
"You should go to sleep too," he whispered. "I know I wore you out."
Without waking up, Charlotte turned toward him and slid both her hands under her pillow, giving me the opportunity to spoon her. Adrien tucked us in, then kissed her forehead and murmured my way, "Let me know if you wake up in the middle of the night. I definitely want another round."
He gave the tiniest grin before reaching for the lamp and turning it off.
Chapter 34
ADRIEN
I could barely sleep the nights following our threesome. All I could think about was sinking myself back into Raphaël's ass. We had three more rounds in between naps that night, all of them wilder and more pleasurable than the one before. I hadn't expected Raphaël to be such a good lover, and I sure as hell didn't expect to crave more of him after just one night. I was used to reeling in my needs for my clients when I got horny and had to wait for a call. But this was beyond my willpower. I still wanted him, and I wanted him so fucking badly, it made me ache.
Lying in bed around two P.M., I ran my hand over my face and let out a sigh. I had an appointment with a client later today, and for the first time in years, I didn't feel like going. I loved my job. I really did. But this particular client wasn't my cup of tea. In fact, I'd have to take some viagra before going to make sure I could perform. Add to that how I didn't want to get out of bed at all today, and this promised to be some fucked-up afternoon, where all I could think about was finally hitting the sack again at night.
My melancholia had struck me hard the moment I'd opened my eyes. It could possibly be the fact that today was my progenitor's birthday—a date I always tried to ignore but never seemed able to forget. Or it could be that I hadn't taken my meds yet.
I forced myself out of bed and left my room, wearing nothing but my briefs. I was so lethargic, everything felt heavy. I hoped a good hand job in the shower might wake me up and shake my general apathy, but I already knew I was fooling myself. The relief and orgasmic euphoria rarely lasted long enough to overcome my profound need to crawl and dig myself a grave.
On my way to the kitchen, I found Raphaël in the hallway putting on his shoes.
"You're leaving early," I commented.
"Yeah, I know, but someone called out at the bakery. Then I have to meet Charlotte in Saint Denis."
I folded my arms over my chest and leaned against the wall. "With the subway workers demonstrating again? Good luck with that."
Raphaël winced. "Is it that bad?"
"There might be a train every half hour. Might want to take a taxi."
He made a face. "I can't afford the taxi for a ride that far."
"I could take you there. I have an appointment at five."
Raphaël paused and gave me a long look. "An appointment for work?"
I gave a nod. "I'll be out late. This client is..." I tsked. "Demanding, to say the least."
Raphaël narrowed his beautiful hazel eyes. "You going to be okay?"
"Yeah, of course. Why?"
"It's just you didn't seem well when you walked in here, so I just wanted to make sure."
I feigned a smile. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for worrying."
I knew he meant well, but having to reassure other people that I was okay was exhausting at times. I already had to fight every day to pull my ass out of bed; I didn't have the energy to pretend for other people's sake.
"I, uh..." He cleared his throat. "We haven't talked about what happened. You know...?"
When he hesitated, I waited for him to finish.
"You know...what we did with Charlotte." He was so awkward about it. Why did people always have to make such a big deal about sex?
"It's called a threesome, Raphaël," I teased with a lopsided grin.
"I know that. It's just... We're cool, right?"
I bit my lower lip. "Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't we be?"
"Oh nothing. It's just..."
"What?"
A sigh seeped out of his mouth before he cleared his throat and wrapped his wool scarf around his neck. "It's just something Charlotte said..."
I flicked my hand for him to continue.
"It's silly, really," he added, not once looking at me.
"It's bothering you, obviously, so it's not that silly. What is it?"
"She thinks I have a crush on you."
I studied him as he fidgeted, his eyes dropping toward his feet. "Is she right?"
"No, of course not," he replied ever so quickly, raising his head.
"Well, gee, don't sound so vehement about it. Are you implying I'm not crush material?" I laughed.
"No...of course you are. I mean... It's just... We had sex, so what?"
I tilted my head sideways to observe him. He seemed strangely uncomfortable. If he truly didn't mind the sex, then why was he acting so weird?
"Do you want to do it again?" I asked, testing the waters.
"No, I... Well, do you mean including Charlotte, too?"
"Sure. With Charlotte. Or without. She's cool with you seeing other people, right?"
"Yeah. I mean, before our threesome, she met that other guy, so..."
I locked my eyes on him so he wouldn't waver anymore. "Raphaël, if you want to fuck me, just say the words. I'm not good at riddles. I'm used to people saying it as it is and telling me when, where, and how they want to be fucked."
"I..." He cleared his throat, shifting from one foot to the other. "Yeah, I mean...I don't know. I'll have to think about it."
"Sure. You go do that."
I didn't want him to think I was dismissing him, but I didn't want shit to get any weirder between us. If he was already this awkward around me after a t
hreesome involving Charlotte, I didn't want to imagine how he'd act if it were just him and me having sex without her involved.
I wondered what it would be like to slide inside him so intimately and make him come without anyone else watching. I slammed the back of my head against the wall. What the fuck was I doing? This was all kinds of fucked up. I knew it, but I didn't want to stop. If he offered to let me take him again, there was no way I'd say no. I knew that already.
Daniel was going to hang me by the skin of my balls when he found out what I'd done. He'd rip off my dick too. But damn it if I didn't want to mess up again and fuck Raphaël to heavenly bliss and back.
Chapter 35
RAPHAËL - THREE WEEKS LATER
"Pfff," I sighed while reheating my dinner late in the night, deflated after such a shitty day.
The apartment always felt silent and empty without Adrien around. When I'd moved in, I hated his loud music, but I had grown used to it. I almost needed the sound of it to calm my nerves.
Ila rubbed against me as I grabbed my plate of lasagna from the oven, then sat at the kitchen table to eat. She'd gotten used to me too, apparently. She seemed to like me now, even if she was still territorial toward Adrien. She didn't like me getting too close to him. I wondered if she'd claw my face if she knew we'd had sex. I laughed to myself and smirked at her when she looked up at me with her big blue eyes and meowed unhappily.
"You got food in your dish, Ila?"
She meowed again.
"I don't understand cat language, désolé."
When I stopped acknowledging her and grabbed my fork, she left the room altogether. She truly shared some personality traits with Adrien, that was for damn sure.
He and I had barely seen each other since our threesome. I wasn't sure if he was picking up more work than usual or if he was avoiding me, but he was gone anytime I was home. We hadn't talked about that night again. That didn't mean I didn't think about it constantly, or that I hadn't jerked off thinking of his skin against mine. He was the best male lover I'd had in years. The only one I could remember being that good was Florian, and that was forever ago.
I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me jealous to think Adrien's clients got to have him for entire weekends at a time. There was no way I could ever afford his services, not even for an hour, and though he'd offered to do me for free, I was worried about the consequences. He seemed to think it was all up to me, and the truth was I'd say yes in a heartbeat if he offered again—which he hadn't. Problem solved. I had a shitload of work and studying to do anyway. I had other things to focus on, really.
I sighed again, relishing the taste of pasta, meat, and tomato sauce melting on my tongue. I was chewing on the last piece when the front door opened, and Adrien's heavy footsteps filled the foyer.
I called to him when he passed the door without noticing me, "Bonsoir."
He stopped in his tracks and turned his head to me, smiling.
"Long time no see," I said.
He ran his hand through his black hair, then scratched his two days' scruff, making me wonder if his clients liked the feel of it against their skin as much as I did. I shook my head. I couldn't think about that when he was standing right there, damn it. He was perfectly dressed in a black suit with a blue tie and white button-down shirt under his heavy coat.
"Been busy," he explained.
"So..." I started before things got awkward. "I'm going to visit my family for Christmas at the end of the month. I didn't know if you had any plans, but I thought maybe you'd like to come along."
He stood there, staring at me without moving. "You mean like a family thing?"
"Yes." I didn't want him to stay here on his own unless one of his clients had already booked him.
"I haven't had one of those in so long. I don't know. Are you sure?" he hesitated.
"I wouldn't have offered otherwise."
"Did you ask your parents?"
"I can message them later if you prefer."
"What do I say when they ask what I do? I'm not used to meeting parents, you know."
I grabbed my plate and put it in the dishwasher. "You can tell them the same thing you told me, that you're in marketing and customer service. It's not like they're going to check."
"When are you leaving?"
"On the twenty-second."
"Can I think about it?" he asked. "Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the offer. It's just..." He bit his lower lip, his dark eyes saddening. "I don't know how I'll feel around that time? You know? To see you with your family and all that. I mean, it's great for you, but I don't know."
I walked up to him and searched his anthracite eyes. "I won't force you if you're uncomfortable. I just hate to think of you here alone, that's all."
"I'll think about it... I'm pretty beat. I'm about to hit the sack."
I followed him to the living room. "You fucked that hard, huh?"
He huffed and shook his head. "I actually didn't."
"You weren't at work?" I asked.
"I've already told you the job isn't always about sex. My client asked me to go to a play with her. That's all."
Well, that explained his posh attire.
"Nice. What did you see?"
"Antigone."
I sat on the couch and grabbed the remote. "You liked it?"
"It was great. I took her out to eat at Le Cinq restaurant, too. She likes everything fancy."
"Man, I can't believe that's your job."
Adrien tried to hide a self-satisfied smile but failed.
"Okay, well, I don't want to hold you back if you need to sleep," I sighed, though I could personally use the company.
Chapter 36
ADRIEN
Though Raphael was trying to play it cool, I could tell something was wrong. His shoulders sagged the moment he sat on the couch, looking sad. I decided to suck it up and stick around even if I was so damn tired I might fall asleep in front of the TV. He kept sighing heavily throughout the movie until I couldn't take his sullenness anymore.
"What's wrong?" I asked when he was about to fast forward through the commercials.
"Oh nothing."
"I can tell something's not right, Raphaël. What is it?"
He sighed again, more deeply this time. "Charlotte broke up with me."
I slanted my eyes. "I thought you were just friends with benefits."
"We are...were. We were."
"You can't break up with friends," I commented.
"Yes, you can. You just tell your friend that intercourse isn't enough anymore."
I stared at him. "She said that?"
He nodded. "Not exactly like that, but she said she wants a real boyfriend. Preferably a polyamorous one. She doesn't think I'm ready for that."
"Why would she think that?"
Raphaël shrugged and dropped the remote next to him, pausing the image before the movie could start again. Then he dragged his right leg over his left knee and looked at me. "I've never dated anyone before. I've had friends I play with, and that's about it. I told you that already."
"So what? Everyone has to date for the first time. It doesn't mean you won't be good at it."
His hazel gaze roamed my face and outlined the contours of my lips. "Charlotte thinks there's something going on between you and me."
"Why would she say that?"
"I told you before. She thinks I have a crush on you."
"Is she right?" I asked again.
"No." His answer came awfully fast. It was the second time he'd replied so quickly to that question.
"You've been thinking about me?" I asked. "About the threesome and me inside you?"
His Adam's apple jerked in his throat, betraying his thoughts.
"Have you been touching yourself thinking of me?" I asked.
He deflected the question. "Charlotte thinks I want to fuck you again."
"This isn't about what she thinks, Raphaël. It's about whether she's right or not. It's about what you want."
/> "She thinks I want you to myself when she's not around," he replied.
"Do you?"
I knew I did. Every time I showered, I got off thinking of his hazel eyes fixed on mine while I did him missionary style that one night. That was during our third round and probably my favorite. Charlotte was too tired at that point. She'd just watched as I nailed Raphaël so deeply, he lost all control in my arms.
"I'm not about to put myself in some weird situation," he replied. "You have your job and all."
Ah! The eternal problem of me being an escort. At least Raphaël was forward from the start, unlike Kevin who'd pretended he was fine with me screwing other people...until he wasn't.
"We could fuck without strings attached," I suggested. "You, me, and Charlotte. If she wants to."
"Nah. I told you. She wants a relationship. She doesn't think I'd want to share her if we were dating."
"You shared her with me," I commented.
"Right. But we weren't dating. She thinks she's not the one for me."
"The one?"
"Yeah, she believes in soulmates and all that crap." He cleared his throat.
"She thinks she'll just stumble upon someone, read their soul, and know they're the one?" I asked sarcastically. This had to be a joke.
"No, but she does think you and I are meant to be together."
I broke into laughter, so loud the sound echoed around the living room, but I stopped when Raphaël didn't join in. He couldn't believe all this soulmate bullshit, right? I remembered how Noah had told me the same thing about Raphaël being perfect for me. It was preposterous. We'd fucked. So what? If every person I fucked was my soulmate, my apartment would be packed full for the orgy of the century.
"You don't believe that, do you?" I asked because he seemed too serious.
"What? No!"
Shit. He didn't seem convinced at all.
