Cold’s cock demanded the most attention, mercilessly fucking Jimmy’s tight hole and grazing his prostate every time. There was nothing Jimmy could do except lie there and take it, unable to hold back a scream as Cold managed to fuck him impossibly harder.

All of his weight was behind his brutal slams, and Jimmy was left positively aching. He started to sob hysterically into his pillow, gritting his teeth as Cold pounded into him. This felt like a punishment, and there didn’t seem to be an end in sight.

Jimmy’s cock was hard and his balls were tense, the pressure inside twisting up so tight that he was ready to start begging for release. He bit the pillow instead, screaming into it in frustration and pleasure, determined to be a good boy.

All he had to do was not come and he was good.

Though it wasn’t easy, the gratification of pleasing Cold would be worth it. It always was.

Jimmy twitched and squirmed, drowning in sensation, but he fought off the waves of ecstasy, trying to dull his thoughts. Almost there, almost there, just a little longer and he would be such a good boy.

Cold’s incredible rhythm never faltered until the very end. He grunted and panted in a sweet symphony that told Jimmy he was coming. Jimmy was so relieved, crying brokenly when Cold’s hips finally stuttered with his release.

Two more deep slams followed, Cold growling softly as he held himself balls deep inside of Jimmy. “There’s my good boy. Take it all, Mr. Poe. Every... last... drop.”

“Yes, sir,” Jimmy whimpered, his body falling limp against the sheets. He sighed softly when Cold’s hand at his neck slid up to pet his hair, and he tilted back into his palm like a cat. “I was good, sir. I didn’t come.”

“You were more than good, Mr. Poe,” Cold praised, a bit breathless, bowing his head down to press a quick kiss to Jimmy’s shoulder. “You were perfect.”

Flushing with pride, Jimmy grinded his hips mindlessly into the bed. “Mmm, thank you, sir.”

“Save your gratitude. We’re not finished yet.” Cold began to descend, not stopping until he was down between Jimmy’s thighs. “Oh, Mr. Poe,” he sighed ravenously, “what a lovely sight you are.”

Jimmy squirmed, his mind flashing with all the possible lewd images of what Cold was seeing: his spanked ass, his gaping and wet hole, and every inch of his body shining with sweat. It was positively pornographic. “Mm... Rod...”

Cold’s hands spread his cheeks apart, his thumbs pressing in to massage around his stretched hole. He kept moving inward, his thumbs slipping inside and gently tugging Jimmy’s ass open. “You’re absolutely stuffed, Mr. Poe.”

Whining softly, Jimmy buried his face down into the pillows. He could feel Cold’s thumbs teasing inside of him, stroking the silky and wet tissue, and he felt so filthy. “Rod... please.”

“I’m going to take care of you, Mr. Poe,” Cold said, his tone firm, but he was obviously smiling. “Try not to move.”

The first plunge of Cold’s tongue over his stretched hole made Jimmy moan and jerk up before limply dropping his head back onto the pillow.

Cold grabbed Jimmy’s cheeks and spread them wider, his cool fingers soothing against the still sore flesh. His tongue was blazing hot in contrast, pushing inside of Jimmy as he eagerly sucked him clean.

Jimmy was overcome with the physical pleasure and broiling with shame from such a lewd act. Cold was eating him out and swallowing down his cum, leaving every one of Jimmy’s nerve endings totally fried. He was so open and slick, and it was amazing how easily Cold’s tongue slid in and out of him.

Cold moved a hand beneath Jimmy, grabbing his balls and squeezing before moving up to his cock. He pulled it down between his legs, tugging him in tandem with his tongue plunging inside of him.

“F-fuck!” Jimmy whimpered, clawing at the sheets and whining. Cold’s skilled fingers were stroking him so perfectly and he couldn’t stop, he was gonna—“Fuck, Rod! I’m gonna fuckin’ come! Can I please please please—!”

“Come for me,” Cold rumbled against Jimmy’s flesh, his ministrations immediately speeding up. “Now!”

Jimmy’s brain shut down as he came, a singular moment of pure ecstasy that stole his breath and left him shuddering as his cock pulsed across the bed. Every twist of Cold’s hand pulled a loud moan from his lips, and he thrust back until he couldn’t stand it any longer and began to cry.

“Good boy, Mr. Poe.” Cold gently released Jimmy’s cock and slid up to lie beside him.

“I was good?” Jimmy asked breathlessly, lifting up his head to smile.

“You were perfect.” Cold’s touch was exceptionally tender now, massaging Jimmy’s sore cheeks and his hips, praising him sweetly. “You were so good for me, Jimmy. So very, very good.”

“You were pretty freakin’ awesome, too,” Jimmy mumbled with a short laugh. He closed his eyes, enjoying Cold’s massage for several moments. He didn’t want to spoil the mood, but already there was a need nagging at the back of his mind.

“Did you mean it?” Jimmy’s voice was a whisper, afraid to break the comfortable silence. “Like really, really mean it?”

  “Mm?”

“About compromise,” Jimmy asked, peeking open to look up at Cold hesitantly. “You know, about trying to be more honest with me?”

“I did,” Cold replied, his long fingers tracing up the length of Jimmy’s spine.

“So, tell me,” Jimmy urged. “Tell me what’s going on with your case.”

Cold was quiet for a few seconds. Instead of replying, he got out of bed and headed to the bathroom.

Jimmy’s stomach dropped with dread, and he thought that he had screwed up somehow. He watched Cold as he returned with a warm washcloth and wordlessly began to wipe him down. Jimmy remained silent as he waited patiently for Cold to speak.

“Deposition over Thirdsies’ statement will be on Tuesday,” Cold finally said as his hand slid between Jimmy’s legs. “At that time, I will produce the original recording and prove that Thirdsies was manipulated.

“He and his grandfather were both threatened, and Thirdsies’ statement was given under duress. To avoid a civil suit and the attention from the press, his testimony will be thrown out.”

“What about the third witness?” Jimmy leaned into Cold’s hand as he passed over his stomach.

“Under federal protection,” Cold replied with a hint of annoyance.

  “Safe.” Jimmy was actually relieved.

“Not safe,” Cold corrected firmly, his attentive washing never faltering.

Jimmy swallowed awkwardly as realization settled in. He knew exactly what Cold meant. “You’re going to kill him, aren’t you?”

“Not personally, but yes. I am going to kill him.”

“Who is he?” Jimmy demanded, bile flushing his throat as he tried to speak. “Does, does he have any family? What, what about kids?”

“Jimmy, you shouldn’t ask questions you really don’t want to know the answers to,” Cold sighed sympathetically as he set the cloth aside.

“What are you talking about?” Jimmy scowled, finding Cold’s soft tone patronizing. “I wouldn’t ask if I didn’t want to know!”

“If I say yes, what would you do?” Cold drawled. “Beg for me to spare his life and still risk incarceration by allowing him to live? I am not going to do that, not even for you.”

Jimmy stayed silent as indecision tore at his gut and forced the sweet afterglow to fade away. He shook his head, saying at last, “No. You’re right. I don’t need to know.”

“This is why I’ve wanted to keep all of this from you.” Cold leaned down and kissed Jimmy’s hair. “You love the man that I am, but the monster... you can’t.”

“I love you. I love all of you! Even the monster!” Jimmy insisted. “But you can’t freakin’ keep lying to me about everything! Because then you’re bringing the monster in here! Right in our home!”

“One day you’ll understand that the two are inseparable,” Cold scoffed, his gaze diverted to the ceiling. “What
else do you want to know?”

Jimmy closed his eyes. “What’s the service you’re providing for Charlie?”

  “Mr. Eastwick?”

  “Whatever his name is.”

Cold paused, thinking the question over before replying, “I am helping him extort his biological grandfather.”

“The one who was married and tried to make his grandmother get rid of the baby?” Jimmy perked up. Honestly, he’d thought Charlie’s dramatic story was a lie after finding out that he was a federal agent.

“Yes. His grandfather is still alive and in a very powerful position, hence the need for my assistance. We’re extorting him for a large sum of money and forcing him to perform a small task that benefits my case. Once that is done, Charlie is going to leak the story to the press and ruin him.”

“What the fuck?” Jimmy gasped. “But, but why?”

“That’s between Mr. Eastwick and his grandfather,” Cold said with a slight shrug. “I understand that it’s very personal for him.”

“So, you’re going to take all of his money, probably make him do something really illegal, and still destroy his career?”

  “Yes.”

Jimmy didn’t know what to say to that, instead asking, “What about the murder weapon and all the DNA evidence?”

“They will be dealt with,” Cold said shortly, scowling when Jimmy gave him an expectant stare. “What’s left of Marco has been released to a funeral home. There’s going to be a very severe misunderstanding and his body will be cremated. I’ve already agreed to generously compensate the crematory employee who will certainly be terminated over the incident.”

“That still doesn’t cover the samples that the police already collected.”

“Those along with the murder weapon will be destroyed,” Cold explained. “That is Mr. Eastwick’s gift to me.”

Nose scrunching up with thought, Jimmy asked cautiously, “Who exactly is his grandfather?”

“As I said, he’s a very powerful man.”

“Is he with the police? Forensics?” Jimmy pressed. “He’s got to have some sort of connection with the authorities if he’s able to get rid of the evidence for you. That’s the task he’s doing for you, right? His grandfather is the one who’s gonna destroy it all?”

Cold glanced away to the ceiling again.

“Fine,” Jimmy pouted, deciding to be grateful for what he had already received. He reached up to touch Cold’s cheek and gently turned his face toward him. “Thank you.”

“For?” Cold sounded hesitant, and he was frowning.

“For actually telling me the truth,” Jimmy said with a bright smile. “For finally trusting me. This is what I’ve wanted for so long, Rod.”

“Mm.” Cold’s lips twitched up in a small smile. “Consider it an early wedding gift.”

“Yeah. I’m sorry I messed up your really sweet and awesome proposal.” Jimmy cringed.

“It’s all right. You were very much preoccupied being a brat,” Cold snorted affectionately.

“It really was beautiful,” Jimmy said quickly. “You really went all freakin’ out. Did you tie all those shells to the chairs yourself?”

“I did.” Cold grimaced. “Gave myself a papercut putting those ridiculous little lanterns together.”

“Aw, my poor baby!” Jimmy took Cold’s hands, inspecting them for damage. He found the offending cut on Cold’s left thumb. “Hmm, do we need to call Dr. Queen? Do you need stitches?”

Cold chuckled, assuring him, “No, I think I’ll survive.”

“Here.” Jimmy nuzzled his hand against his cheek and kissed his thumb. “Better?”

  “Mmm. Perfect.”

“Thank you,” Jimmy said sweetly. “Your sacrifices have been noted, and they will not be forgotten.”

“I don’t suppose that means you’re going to say ‘yes’ this time, are you?”

“No, but...” Jimmy paused, sitting up and wincing as his sore ass grazed the covers. He leaned back against the headboard as he finished, “But I’m willing to wear the ring.”

Cold was surprised, scanning Jimmy’s expression as he asked flatly, “Why?”

“Because wearing a ring is a sign of intent,” Jimmy replied easily. “I definitely intend to marry you one day. I love you and I’m yours, always. Just like you’re finally trusting me and opening up, I’m going to trust you.”

“Trust that I can properly woo you into agreeing to our wedding that’s only a few weeks away?” Cold drawled, rolling his eyes as if in great physical pain.

“Exactly!” Jimmy laughed, kissing Cold’s cheek sweetly.

“You’re still coming to the wedding, whether you agree to it or not,” Cold warned, slipping his hand into his coat to bring out the ring.

“Gonna have Jules drag me to the altar if I don’t?”

“Possibly.” Cold grinned. “Perhaps I’ll send Tamerlane after you instead. He’s a bit more subtle.”

Jimmy had a smart remark all lined up, but his chest felt light when he saw the ring between Cold’s fingers. He smiled shyly and offered out his hand.

Cold slid the ring on and kissed Jimmy’s hand. “Mm, do you like it?”

“I love it,” Jimmy said, smiling at the little diamond that had come from his mother’s ring. He would always have a piece of her with him now. He tried to keep smiling, and he hated how his eyes began to sting with tears. “It’s... it’s perfect.”

Cold immediately pulled Jimmy into a tight embrace, soothing, “It’s okay, Jimmy. I’m here.”

“I know,” Jimmy said, too physically exhausted to hold back a soft cry, “but she’s not.”

Cold tenderly set Jimmy in his lap and eased back against the headboard with Jimmy burying himself into his broad chest. He petted Jimmy’s hair, rocking him gently while being mindful of his sore bottom.

“I’m sorry,” Jimmy whimpered, trying to stop himself from openly sobbing. “Th-that was just all really intense, and I was so freakin’ mad at you and, and I saw the ring and now—”

“Jimmy,” Cold cut in, smothering a warm kiss against his brow. “Don’t apologize. The things we do can leave you vulnerable to your emotions, a fact that I’m well aware of, and I don’t mind in the slightest.”

“But, but—” Jimmy couldn’t argue as more tears bubbled up. He grimaced and leaned into Cold’s embrace with a fresh cry. “I’m just so broken!”

“And so am I,” Cold said quietly, tilting Jimmy’s chin to gently kiss his lips. “We can pick up the pieces together. Let me help you. Let me take care of you... let me love you.”

Jimmy nodded numbly, groaning as Cold slid off the bed and carried him into the bathroom. He was exhausted from the intense passions, and the weight of the ring on his finger was heavier than he’d thought it would be.

Cold, gangster and fiend, ruthless killer and monster, was drawing a warm bath for them both to soak in. The mobster king of Strassen Springs was rubbing Jimmy’s raw ass to soothe the sting of a brutal spanking and telling him how beautiful he looked.

The praise made Jimmy’s knees weak, his body turning into jelly as Cold dipped him down into the bathtub. The warm water felt absolutely heavenly against his abused body. Jimmy smiled when Cold stripped down to join him, enjoying the lovely view.

As Cold lowered himself into the water, Jimmy ogled every inch of his powerful body. The scars were always painful to look at, especially knowing the story behind so many of them had been filled with such agony. They stood as a testament to all that Cold had survived.

There was a softness around Cold’s stomach that made him seem vulnerable and betrayed his age, as did the sprinkling of silver through the coarse hair grazing his torso. Jimmy loved how it felt as he leaned back into Cold’s arms, dragging them around his middle to hold him close.

Cold didn’t protest, hugging Jimmy and lightly kissing his shoulder. “There are still things I will not tell you, but I am willing to share with you what I can. Whatever I feel is safe.”

  “S
afe for who?” Jimmy asked, sniffing back the remnants of his tears. “Me or you?”

“Both,” Cold replied curtly. “For my own safety as a notorious criminal, yours as a morally sound human being, and what will ensure our relationship goes on without incident.”

“You’re right.” Jimmy closed his eyes and let the warmth of the water and Cold’s body relax him. “I can’t know everything. I want to say that it wouldn’t matter, that I would still love you, but I don’t know...”

“You don’t know if you’d still want to be with me,” Cold said gently. “You’d love me, but the moral dilemma of being with a verified monster would be too much for you. Your ignorance protects you and allows you to stay at my side without guilt. I know, Jimmy.”

“Is there anything you don’t know?” Jimmy laughed weakly, stung by how exact Cold’s aim always was.

“I don’t know if you’ll agree to marry me without my interference,” Cold replied honestly.

  “Oh?”

“The wedding is critical and your participation is mandatory,” Cold said with a shrug, “but I cannot say if it will be voluntary or not.”

“The wedding,” Jimmy murmured, trying to think over his exhaustion as pieces of the puzzle drifted through his mind. “Why is it so important? What are you going to do?”

“Whatever it takes to keep us safe.”

Jimmy shivered as Cold’s hands began to slide down his thighs. “The Luchesis... this has something to do with why you invited them, doesn’t it?”

“Ever the little detective,” Cold mused. He almost sounded proud, but concern now darkened his voice as he said, “Trust me; that’s a question you don’t want answered.”

“You’re going to kill someone, aren’t you?” Jimmy accused, and he gasped when Cold’s hands tightened around his knees.

“I am going to do whatever it takes to protect myself and you,” Cold growled, full of danger and malicious intent. “They’ve already tried to kill me once, and they will try again. They may even come after you or anyone else I hold dear. They will try to take what is mine.
