Amelia Sinatra: What Hammer Wants

Page 14

by Mallory Monroe

I have someone who needs me!”

And when Charles handed Amelia over to Hammer, and Amelia’s hand touched his hand, both of them felt the electricity. And as the minister began to speak, and Amelia stood in front of him, and JoJo was right there with them, Hammer was overwhelmed. He couldn’t help it. He cried. He broke down and cried.

Amelia’s was crying too. And although the makeup artist and wedding planner were having fits, she didn’t give a toss about her makeup. As the minister spoke, she cried freely too.

But JoJo was confused. He sat that expensive white ring pillow on the dirt of the ground, and hugged his mother and father. The entire audience broke down in laughter. And Hammer and Amelia, as they said their I Do’s, held onto JoJo too.

By the time their vows were over, and the ring was placed on Amelia’s hand and Hammer kissed his bride, the attendees were on their feet with whoops and hollers and the kind of unbridled joy that Hammer and Amelia knew would carry them on.

But most of all, they thought, as Hammer picked up JoJo and placed his arm around Amelia, it was going to be love that would carry them, the Hamilton Reeses, all the way home.
