I looked at the phone in amazement as if it was going to tell me, “I told you so.” I hung up the phone and went and stood at the doorway of the kids’ room. As I watched them sleep, I whispered, “Thank you, God.” As I thought about Akeem and impatiently waited for Saturday.

  About the

  Author

The Product of a Broken Heart is a book for women of all ethnicities. Part one of an uplifting Duo. I have found that every woman deals with issues of trying to find peace in the body she dwells in. The Product of a Broken Heart is the result of the trials I have been through and the smiles I have carved on my heart. Through every laugh and through every tear, I am standing here today as an outcome of what I have been through. Though I am not my past, I am a product of what I have lived.

Many women lose themselves in the storm. They lose hope. They lose confidence and patience, the will to continue toward goals, dreams, and a vision. Instead, many women ball up and stay in a storm that is only supposed to be temporary. This book takes you down the road of a young girl, a molested teen mother, a dropout addicted to drugs and damaged by the curveball of life. Not only will you see her storm, but you will also experience the steps she took to come out of the storm, and how she learned to take off the mask that hides who she truly is and how she learned to live again.

The Product of a Broken Heart is for every woman to learn that a storm is meant for a lesson to be learned and strength to be built.
