“You need not be so modest. Unlike you, Sir Subaru, I am completely unversed in this. I intend to follow your directives in all matters, so please do not hesitate to call upon me.”
“Whoaaa, now I feel even more gracious! Okay, let’s get into the announcements, then! This is a big one, really big, wow! Re:ZERO is getting a TV anime release!! You’re sure you want Wilhelm and I being the ones to announce this?!”
“It is the result of so many drawn in, following your footsteps in admiration, Sir Subaru. It is almost enough to make even my chest grow hot…”
“Those footsteps had a lot of pretty embarrassing parts, too, you know…!”
“What, everyone has embarrassing moments in their youth. While I am glad for the anime being decided, there are also comics going on sale, it would seem?”
“Ah, yes, there are. The second volume of the hugely popular Mansion arc, serialized in Monthly Big Gangan, is going on sale in December! And the first volume of the third arc, serialized in Monthly Comic Alive, is also going on sale in December! Wilhelm, you’ll be appearing in this!”
“I see, so they are going on sale in December simultaneously. It would seem best to buy them both at the same…mm? Sir Subaru, what is…?”
“It’s just like you said, Wilhelm, everyone has embarrassing moments in their youth.”
“Mm, certainly, I did say as much…”
“So the setting is fourteen years before the main story—! The Ballad of the Sword Devil, a side story set during the huge civil war in the kingdom, known as the Demi-human War, is set to go on sale, also in December!”
“So a side-story novel and one volume from the second and third arcs. I was inexperienced and a sorry sight in my youth, but do pick them up if you have some interest in them.”
“Oh yeah! Hey, it turned out pretty good in the end! When push comes to shove, we’re a good team!”
