  Chapter 310 - Breathtaking

Clashes that shattered space continued to occur as two aurora colored streaks of light clashed against one another!

The Guardian of Blood continued to receive huge shocks as destructive energies spread out to cover his body with every clash, destabilizing the crystallized blood acting as a valiant armor.

Noah's body always came out mangled and injured as he tested the brute strength and healing capabilities of this monstrous body that was the combination of a Lesser Cthulhu and an Arch Demon Lord. He shook his arms as he watched mangled muscles and bones fall off and new ones take their place, nodding his head as he was finally appeased, this time stretching one of his arms out as he called forth a weapon that would provide even more ridiculous boosts.

[Trident of the Sea] :: A pinnacle treasure in the sea that allows its user to remain unrivaled against all enemies. Attack and Defensive capabilities are quintupled while equipped. Usable abilities include Heart Piercer, Plasma Beam, Command of the Sea, Loved by Water, and Spatial Lock.

The Trident of The Sea appeared between his outstretched hand, being the size of a toothpick compared to the gigantic 30 meters that his monstrous body was. Yet, one had to know that this was a Supreme Treasure!

  RUMBLE!

Essence flowed into the Trident of the Sea endlessly as it began to expand and increase in size, growing more and more expansive until it fit in Noah's large hand. He grasped the trident tightly as the surrounding particles of blood trembled, a smile appearing on his face as he recalled his high school lessons about blood, and how a large percentage of blood plasma was water.

The weapon he now held in his hand ruled anything to do with the water element, and the opponent in front of him...this being made of blood from every nook and cranny...was just asking for a beating!

The Lakes of Blood in the Inheritance Grounds trembled at the appearance of the enormous Trident of the Sea, the Guardian of Blood feeling an oppressive feeling as it felt constrictions begin to appear in the surroundings.

  RUMBLE!

A radiant red light that seemed to defy anything that stood against the Guardian of Blood erupted from its body as it broke past the newly set up inscriptions, numerous runic markings freely rotating around its valiant red armor as it streaked across the skies once more.

Noah's monstrous body angled the Trident of the Sea forward, releasing his grasp on the now large weapon as destructive energies of Aether wrapped around it. The trident slowly began to rotate between his grasp, getting faster and faster as it seemed to call forth all the destructive energies around Noah's body the more that it spun!

The three pointed end of the terrible Supreme Treasure began to tremble with destructive energies and red and purple mixed in, collecting an obscene amount of essence as Noah moved forth with the Trident of the Sea to clash against the fearsome Guardian of Blood.

  ZIING!

Their two figures seemed to pass through one another as Noah's large body came to halt in mid-air, his entire figure trembling as unstable energies seemed to be running amok all across his body, the unique energies of the Lesser Cthulhu and Arch Demon Lord clashing as numerous injuries began to appear.

The Guardian of Blood halted in midair a moment later, turning around to observe the monstrosity in front of it as its entire left arm beginning from the shoulder was cleanly cut through, falling towards the ground with an eruption of blood!

  BOOM!

The wide arm shook the bloody earth as the Guardian of Blood looked at Noah, a small smile replacing its past expression of anger as it spoke slowly while lifting the heavy weapon it held with its remaining hand.

  "You...are truly an outrageous creature."

The words were filled with strength as the Guardian of Blood looked at this being, numerous thoughts overtaking it as grand possibilities of the future unfolded.

'Would the master's legacy actually be rekindled once more?'

Hopes and dreams sputtered forth from the giant made of blood as the runic sigils continued to revolve speedily all over its body, preparing for a last attack as the spear it was holding on to vibrated with power.

Noah looked at the giant building up power as he breathed out slowly, placing even more mana into the two transformation skills he had cast as the instabilities caused by the class dwindled, destructive energies surrounding him once again as he pointed the dangerous trident towards its target. In another hand, a glorious purple light erupted as a sharp dagger was connected to an exquisitely made sheath!

  …[Stop].

  !!!

The lakes of blood on the ground below him and the droplets of blood thrown into the air from the collisions all came to a halt at this moment, as if speechlessly witnessing something tremendous which they could not disturb! The Guardian of Blood found his body being put in a terrifying mode of stasis where he could not move, his body being frozen in time!

  …[Portals of Terror].

In the direction of the Guardian of Blood building up his power, a single portal ready to release horrid energies of destruction appeared. A millisecond later, another one appeared. And Another. And Another! They continued to appear until 18 portals ready to unleash tremendous destructive energies surrounded the impassive Guardian of Blood.

As if this was not enough, yet another whisper could be heard in the wind as Noah cast another skill, another one that directly interfered with the Guardian of Blood.

  …[Envy the Mighty].

[Envy the Mighty] - When fighting someone stronger than themselves, the user can lower the abilities and stats of the enemy by one stage.

An ability from the Sin of Envy, the counterpart of the [Strength of the Weak] ability that had been giving him constant buffs because he was fighting against someone levels higher than him- was cast at this moment as the Guardian of Blood felt the vibrant essence that he could use reduced by a wide margin!

  RUMBLE!

It looked towards this creature that was not just able to interfere with time, it even held abilities to weaken his enemies as he sensed the destructive power surrounding him from the many portals as a smile was actually plastered on its gigantic face.

It only heard one last whisper before everything crumbled down with the brilliant aurora of destructive lights that had been freed from the portals they were held in.

  [Sever]!

  ZIIING!

A ray of destructive aurora of colors erupted forth as it acted as the trigger, destructive energies exploding out magnificently as the defenses of a Soul Rank being that had been weakened to the utmost limit were shredded to pieces.

  BOOOM!!!

A resounding tremor shook the wide Coliseum of the Inheritance Grounds as an explosion of stupendous proportions rocked the surrounding space. A wide void was created as the force had shattered and folden space within itself on impact, shards of crystallized blood being seen shooting out in multiple directions as the giant of tremendous proportion, the Guardian of Blood who towered more than 30 meters...met an unspeakably cruel end!

  Chapter 311 - A Drop of Blood!

Noah glanced with a pounding heart towards the shattered pieces of the Guardian of Blood as he released the Arch Demon Lord Transformation. His body came down in size as destructive mixtures of energies still coiled around him, gradually fading away as he released the Lesser Cthulhu form as well.

He breathed out slowly as he felt an ache deep within him, feeling a numbing sensation of pain that wasn't going away even as the destructive energies of the two forms he had taken went away. Noah glanced at his body that felt fine, yet he still felt an uncomfortable feeling inside as he heard the words of his home planet's core.

[The combination of distinct powers put a strain on your still Saint Rank Origin. It should heal naturally soon, but it seems this power will be easier to use once your attributes reach the higher ranks.]

Noah nodded as he put aside the feeling of an injury he could not even see, turning his attention towards the shattere
d pieces of the Guardian of Blood that had stopped in the skies and began trembling as lines of blood began to weave from the many lakes covering the Inheritance Grounds.

A gorgeous red light shined as the body was stitched up together seamlessly, although this time much smaller as it stood the same height as Noah. The instant the face of the Guardian of Blood formed, one could see an expression of a being that was about to tear up from too many emotions.

The Guardian turned towards Noah's direction as he bowed, this bow initiating the start of something wondrous as a brilliant red light went on to cover the expansive Coliseum!

This brilliant light had Noah at the center, his body actually feeling a pull from the ancient shrine looking structure that had remained in peace throughout their battle at the center of the Coliseum, the same structure where the Guardian of Blood had emerged from.

Various mechanisms were initiating as this Ancient Shrine that looked small and dilapidated began to rise from the lake of blood it was in as it became larger and larger. The moment Noah's body was pulled near it, he could see a golden door in the middle of this risen shrine that snapped open.

The voice of the Guardian of Blood that was still bowing erupted in Noah's ears at this moment.

"When Master felt his life running out more than a thousand years ago, he left behind this Inheritance Ground where he placed all the techniques he had passed down over the years, as well as many bloodlines for future generations that might have been born in a lower status but had the strength to achieve great things."

The golden door on the red shrine opened wide as Noah let the light that hung onto him pull him in, coming face to face with a crimson interior that was styled simply.

There was a single book shelf in the corner with a few books that seemed like they could turn into dust at any moment, as well as a small table and chair for one to sit on.

The thing that grabbed the eyes of any who entered the room though, were the abundant rings and pouches that populated the table. They shone with a magnificent hue that let one know that only the finest treasures resided in these storage pouches and rings.

"The last thing that Master did...was end his life early as he enacted a possibility for the future. He knew that with his death, the Vampyres would fall in status and grow weaker over time, and he wanted to pass down something even more treasured to him to a being that was as talented as he was, if not more. This was so that a strong protector could rise into heights even greater than his to oversee and protect the Vampyres."

These words brought Noah's gaze to the only other thing in the crimson shrine, a simple styled coffin that had now been elevated from the ground, and was slowly opening in front of Noah's eyes.

"This was the reason he set up these Inheritance Grounds in this Ancient Blood World, and created a harsh test for a future Vampyre genius who was capable enough to take his mantle. Sadly, no such being appeared in the last 1000 years. That is...until your arrival."

The coffin in the shrine opened up to reveal a shocking light and an aura of ancientness something brilliant seemed to be contained within. Noah had to blink several times as the outline of the extremely brilliant object appeared in front of him, and it shocked him with the oppressive air and domineering presence it was letting out!

This was because what had floated from the simple styled coffin...was a golden-red drop of blood!

"The talented Vampyres that clear the first level until the fifth level will receive an assortment of different quality Bloodlines depending on which level they clear, but the one to pass Master's requirements and be able to pass the last stage...shall receive on their shoulders the full legacy that he left behind."

The shimmering golden-red drop of blood began to flow towards Noah as the Guardian of Blood continued to release shocking words!

"The first of the rewards that comes with this Legacy is the Origin Blood of the Progenitor himself, granting the one that accepts it the reviving Bloodline of the Progenitor himself! Accepting this Origin Blood though...also means you accept the wishes that master left behind, and for you to bear all the responsibilities for the future of the Vampyre Race!"

Resounding words rang out in Noah's ears as the shimmering drop of blood flowed in front of him, seemingly waiting for his reply as floated majestically.

Noah's face hardened as he looked at this unforeseen chance in front of him, nodding his head as he let out words of affirmation!

  "I accept!"

  RUMBLE!

The moment his words were released, the drop of blood flew into him as it pierced through his chest and struck his heart a millisecond later, seemingly impatient to get started.

  THUMP!

Noah clutched his chest as the essence within his body suddenly became disordered, his figure dropping as he fell to the floor of the shrine in extreme pain!

  THUMP!

  "AAAAHH!"

This pain was unlike anything he had ever experienced before, his body undergoing enormous changes as his now bulging eyes observed his muscles spasming as his bones creaked, veins and arteries enlarging at a visible rate as the first stage of fusing with this tremendous drop of Origin Blood was...destruction!

  SPLAT!

  ...

Chapter 312 - Bloodline of the Vampyre Progenitor

  RUMBLE!

Across the vastness of space, four separate planets connected to each other in a unique way trembled as powerful quakes traveled from their cores until they affected their surface!

Even though the Planetary Cores did their best to maintain the powerful tremors, a small force still passed through as various lands across the four Worlds experienced microseisms that disrupted normal activity.

  OOONG!

Immense amounts of essence were soon employed by the Planetary Cores as they acted within their defined limits as they focused on one particular blue planet, and this blue planet focused on its connection with a particular being experiencing something much grander than they anticipated.

The reason where a tremor had passed through each of the stars was because the being that they were connected to had come close to the very thing that would cause their death, but this close state of death was required for the metamorphosis about to occur!

Across the vastness of space, in the middle of the Light Expanse and Dark Expanse where the Ancient Blood World was located, deep in the covertly hidden Inheritance Grounds, a being was convulsing painfully on the floor of an aged shrine.

Viscous large amounts of blood, organs, and bones littered the floor in a gory mess as painful screams that could only be brought by if a serrated blade was constantly cutting through someone's throat continued to be released.

The Guardian of Blood looked at this sight with a hardened gaze as he spoke out, not sure if his words could even be heard or understood by the convulsing mass of flesh that had all of its auditory, visual, and all other systems ruptured and were only now being slowly recreated.

"The process of fusing with a bloodline is a particularly painful one, and even more so when it comes to something potent as the Origin Blood of the Progenitor. It does not just signify a bloodline, but something much grander. Push through the pain, and something beautiful will await you on the other side."

The words were soft and soothing, but were only met with gurgles of screams as Noah continued to experience pain unlike anything he had ever come across before!

If his eyes were still there, he would be weeping helplessly as he begged for this pain to end. The moment the drop of blood had entered and smashed into his heart, this grueling process had began as he found himself in unbearable pain that even halfway through, his broken hands had tried piercing into his chest to pull out the drop of blood that had entered.

The pain was this excruciating, making someone lose their own rationality as they only wanted it to come to an end! His barely reformed mass of muscles on his hands reached for his chest as they trembled, Noah using an unknown force of willpower to stop himself as he c
ontinued to tremble and spasm.

The process that was occurring was happening rapidly, and it was occurring on a cellular level as everything had undergone a process of destruction and reformation. The pain was most intense from his heart as it pumped a new quality of blood and life and let forth an outline of resplendent veins and arteries that were still visible even now.

The ruptures bones were just as painful, with Noah feeling the formation of new cells from his bone marrows as he clutched his nonexistent teeth and repeated to himself a single thought in his mind.

  Endure!

This was the only thing repeating on his mind as he painfully went through this excruciating process, feeling everything painfully clear as new bones and muscles smoothly connected with the brand new venous and arterial systems of his body.

  THUMP!

The heart that was smashed with the drop of blood had become crimson in color as it beat strongly, muscle, fascia, and fair skin all beginning to reappear as a distinct red hue caused his body to begin floating in the air.

  THUMP!

A wave of brilliant red was now being released from his body every time his heart contracted and relaxed, the process occurring and leaving a few seconds in between before it occurred once more.

  THUMP!

Noah's head that now held even more brilliant overflowing dark air looked even more handsome, gaining a devilish quality unique to Vampyres as streaks of silver were visible on the mass of darkness overflowing from his head!

  RUMBLE!

His eyes opened as they released an oppressive force outwards, his pupils filled with mysterious runic sigils that slowly dwindled as they took the form of a beastial emperor, etchings of a red star slowly receding from his eyes as they focused.

His n.a.k.e.d figure began coming back towards the ground as his fair legs touched the cold floor of the shrine, his attention being pulled to his hands as he brought them up to observe the utter paleness they now showed.

"I welcome you to the World, my new Master."
