She came over and sat on the edge. “Our bed.”

  “Our bed.”

He reached his arm around her waist and, with his usual effortless strength, pulled her close to him. Lexi let out a squeal as he drew her close, the T-shirt she’d worn to bed pulling up around her hips.

“Hey now,” she said. “We’ve got a busy day ahead. Not sure what you’ve got on your mind, but I’ve got classes, you’ve got your meeting with the board...”

  “Uh-huh.”

“And then I’m meeting with Shana to help plan her and Sam’s wedding. And then Eric’s coming to town this weekend with Mabel, which means I’m pretty sure we’re going to have another wedding to think about before too long, and then another wedding when Maddie and Kurt finally tie the knot and then the kids will be up any second, and—”

She didn’t get a chance to utter another word. She fell into the kiss, smiling through it, letting his touch work through her body.

After several moments of this, Jason slowly took his lips from hers.

Lexi laughed. “You always know just what to do to shut me up.”

“Just one of my many talents.”

“Isn’t that the truth. But to be honest, you’ve got some other talents I like a little better.”

“True, true. Let me show them.”

  “Gladly.”

He kissed her again, and just like always, the world around them melted away, only the two of them remaining. Jason placed his hand on the small of her back, leading her down onto the bed.

Once she was there, he slipped his hand up her shirt and squeezed her breast, her nipples going hard at his touch.

She was in heaven. They’d made love hundreds of times before, but it never stopped being special, amazing, everything she wanted.

Jason moved over top of her, the sheets falling off his body and exposing his long, hard, dripping shaft. Lexi reached down and took hold of it, stroking him as he brought himself closer and closer to her.

When he was near, she pressed his head against her clit, ecstasy flowing out of her body and making her moan and squirm.

Jason moved down and kissed her, their tongues gliding over one another’s, his rich, musky taste filling her mouth.

She guided him into her, Jason pushing his head past her wet lips and moving deep, Lexi opening her eyes just wide enough to watch his cock vanish into her.

Heaven. There was no other word for her to describe it. Jason moving inside of her was a pleasure she couldn’t believe she had whenever she wanted.

She watched Jason on top of her, watched him work, watched his muscles flex and tense as his face hardened in concentration. His cock pushed into her again and again, her walls gripping him tight and his hands gripping her even tighter.

“Come inside me,” she moaned. “Please, please.”

That was all he needed to hear. Lexi felt his cock pulse, Jason letting out a hard groan as he came into her. And the sensation of his cock erupting deep inside was enough to let her own orgasm loose. Her inner walls gripped him, coaxing out all of his cum, filling her full.

And then they were done. Jason kissed her again, the slow, lingering sort of kiss he always gave after lovemaking.

“I love you like fucking crazy,” he said. “But you already know it.”

“And I love you like mad. And you know that, too.”

They kissed, and right in the middle of it, the cry of two babies cut through the silence.

Jason smirked. “All right—I think that means the day is officially beginning.”

“You shower,” said Lexi. “And I’ll get the boys.”

“Other way around,” he said. “You relax—big day ahead.”

  “B—”

Before she could say a word, he threw on some lounge clothes and was off.

She smiled. Jason was still cocky, still a little bossy. But she loved it.

Lexi hopped in the shower, taking a little bit of time, getting herself good and clean. When she was done, she dressed and went into the hallway. The nursery was empty, two little cribs there with no baby boys inside.

She found them on the balcony overlooking the city, Jason standing among the garden, a baby in each arm.

The pregnancy had been another surprise—their baby ended up being twin brothers. There was Spencer, who took after Lexi, and there was Stone, named for Jason’s uncle, and a spitting image of his father.

She came over to the trio and planted a kiss on each boy’s forehead, both giggling and cooing at the sight of their mother. Lexi took Spencer, the boy snuggling close.

“This is our life,” said Jason. “Can you believe it?”

“I can’t. But you know I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

She meant it. Happiness filled her heart as she stood with her family.

Her present was full of love. And her future held nothing but promise.
