I know. I just want to remain focused. Where is Candace and Sheree, anyway?

They are in the kitchen preparing asparagus to cook with dinner. I’ll run into the kitchen and put them on speaker.

Thanks, Mom. I miss Sunday dinner already. I wish I could receive smells through the phone. I laughed.

Sorry baby. I’m sure Mom will pack up a weeks’ worth of food next week.

Skye, how are you! My sisters cut into the conversation.

I’m doing great. Sheree, is it weird that me and Candace are out of the house?

Kinda. But Candace comes home every weekend.

  I laughed.

Unlike you Skye, I’m not missing out on Momma’s cooking.

What will happen when you get a boyfriend?

He will accompany me to Sunday dinner.

  We all laughed.

Dad, I will let you watch the game in peace. I know you want to enjoy the game before you have to return to work tomorrow to run the plant.

Baby, I can rewind the game.

  Dad, you are the best!

Mom, we can sit down and go over the new store shipment process.

I am confused so that would mean a lot. You’re good with computers and will be good with a scalpel in the operating room one day delivering those babies.

I grinned from ear to ear.

I love you guys. I’ll let you guys go enjoy dinner without me.

Skye, don’t try to make us feel guilty. Candace laughed.

We love you Nadine! My Mom and Dad said.

  Bye, Skye! yelled Sheree.

I slipped my Blackberry into my back pocket, then settled into an episode of Gilmore Girls that played on the TV a short distance away.

Monday afternoon, I never thought I would see Tony standing at my dorm door. I pushed him out of my mind by day yet dreamed of him at night.

I’m nervous about this date tonight. I slipped in and out of jeans and dresses several times. I have to relax. Reaching into my dresser drawer, I grabbed a handful of condoms, stuffing them inside my Gucci purse.

There was a knock at the door. I glanced across the room at Laina with wide eyes. “He’s early!” I whispered.

  “Relax, Nadine.”

  “I’m coming!” Laina yelled.

Laina walked over placing her hands on my shoulders, staring into my eyes. “It’s just dinner and hopefully great sex with Mr. Delicious.”

  I rolled my eyes.

“I’m next on Thursday,” she squealed.

  I laughed.

Laina scurried to the door, swinging it open.

“Hello, Tony. Come in. Have a seat at the desk.”

She turned to me. “I’m headed down the hall. Nadine, have a good time.”

  “Thanks.”

Tony unbuttoned the two buttons on his navy sports coat before sitting in the wooden chair.

  “You’re early, Tony.”

  “You look, beautiful.”

I blushed. “I’m almost done.” I turned to the mirror, swiping my long eyelashes with Mascara.

“You don’t need all that. Yesterday, you didn’t have on makeup and you were still beautiful.”

I smiled. “Again, thanks, Tony. I’m ready.”

  ~

Tony assisted me into the passenger seat of his truck. After he climbed behind the wheel, he leaned over taking my lips, slowly. The familiar scent of his cologne crept up my nose. His cologne is my new addiction. My hands ran along his rock-hard chest up to his collar bone. His large hand gripped my thigh.

“Tony, are we going to make it to dinner? Or are we skipping right to dessert?” My eyes smiled.

His crystal blue eyes smiled back. “Yes, we will make it to dinner.” His eyes dropped to my lips. “I’ve wanted to kiss your lips for days.”

I brushed my lips against his. “Why didn’t you ask for my phone number, Friday?”

Tony pulled back a bit. The sunlight split between us, shinning on the dark gray leather seat. “You’ve got your head on straight. I don’t attend college. I don’t want me or my dick to be your downfall. This thing between us can only go so far. I want to take you out sometimes among other things. But if the sex is going to make you crazy, we won’t be able to move forward.”

I laughed. “I don’t think you care if I’m crazy. You came back because you want to fuck me. I don’t care how many women you are fucking. We can hook up or I can hook up with someone else. I’m eighteen attending the university of my dreams, studying to be a doctor. I don’t have time for anything serious. Even if I got all possessive over you and expecting the dick more, I can’t do serious.”

Tony laughed. “You talk a good game but you’re getting in over your head. Med girl.”

  “How old are you, Tony?”

He smirked, staring out the window overlooking the campus. “Nineteen.”

“Oh, so we are about the same age.”

“Yeah, but I promise you, I’ve seen more at this age than many see in their lifetime.”

Head resting against the window, I folded my arms staring into space. Tony leaned over pulling my legs over the center console, reaching under my dress yanking my panties down, half way.

I dropped my arms at my sides and my eyes widened. “What are you doing?”

Tony cupped my pussy. His tongue slithered around my neck. Tony’s fingers slipped within my folds.

I pressed my hands against his chest. Instinctively, I circled my pussy around his fingers. “Tony!” I moaned.

I didn’t want him to stop. And I didn’t give a shit who saw us. I wanted Tony, now. He’s right I am in over my head.

“You’re so wet.” His large finger struggled to push beyond the surface of my hole. “When was the last time you had sex?”

  “Why?” I breathed.

  His head popped up.

“You’re very tight. Answer the question.”

  “None of your business.”

  “Nadine, answer the question!”

He pulled his fingers out of my pussy, then rubbed my thigh.

“When I was seventeen. I had sex with my boyfriend when I gave him my virginity.”

“What happened to him?” Tony stared into my eyes.

“Turns out he was a fucking dog. He made a bet with his friends he could take my virginity.” I turned my head staring at the auburn colored leaves dancing on the tree branches against the wind.

  “What’s his name?”

My eyes shot back to his. “Don’t worry about it, Tony.”

  “Name!” he growled.

“Terrance Mckinney. He attends Xavier, now.”

  Tony’s jaw twitched.

“Whether you and I are just fucking, no man plays games with a woman like that.”

I pulled his face against my neck. “Let’s not think about that asshole.”

“I’m not here to bullshit you. I want to be upfront. You need to know what you are getting into. Can you handle just fucking me? No other guys.” His soft lips tickled my neck.

“Are you going to be just fucking me?”

He stopped kissing my neck, glared into my eyes.

“No.” He slid my panties over my wet pussy.

I retracted my legs from the center console pulling them back into my seat.

“Ok. Then we aren’t having sex. If we do, I’m having sex with other guys. Sowing my wild oats.” I spit.

“We’ll see about that,” he stated, backing out of the parking space.

  CHAPTER SEVEN

  TONY

“Are you from New Jersey, Tony?” She slid a small round carrot into her mouth.

“Yes, born and raised.” I placed a sliver of porter house steak into my mouth. We sat at a table in the center of the restaurant.

“How does it feel going to the school you always dreamed of?”

She smiled ever so bright. “Wonderful. I won’t let anyone jeopardize my education. My father works hard to pay for my dream education. Not sure if you thought, I paid for myself to atte
nd school.”

“Yeah, I did. Princeton being your dream school and all. I thought you worked hard to pay for tuition.”

“I worked hard to maintain good grades. My Dad took care of the rest.” I smiled.

“I’m sure your parents are proud.”

  She nodded.

“I’ve always wanted to be a doctor. But not just any doctor, a Pediatrician.”

“You will be deep in the books every semester.”

“True.” She paused. “Tony, why didn’t you go to college?”

He paused. “I had to help run the family business.”

I chewed on another bite of steak.

“What business is that?” She sipped the red wine from the oversized glass.

  I didn’t answer right away.

“My family runs Magarelli Enterprises. We have various businesses. Construction and waste management to name a couple.”

She nodded. “Did you want to go to college?”

My eyes left hers momentarily, taking in the ambiance of the romantic restaurant. It was rustic, quiet, and discrete. The man I was told to handle, sat at a corner table with an attractive little brunette woman. Originally, I was off tonight. Uncle Mick called two hours before my date with Nadine ordering me to remove a problem, Russell Jarvis. I didn’t want to bail on her, so I changed our dinner reservation to the Grand Steak House. Senators, the governor and other prominent business men frequent this restaurant.

  “Tony?” She glared at me.

“I never gave college any thought. My father asked me to assist our family like he did and that is what I agreed to do. Now that my father is no longer here on this earth, I have a huge responsibility managing the various businesses we own.”

The waiter approached. “Is there anything else I can get either of you?”

I glanced at Nadine. She peered up at the waiter. “I’m all set.”

“Bring the check please.” I smiled.

Sipping the glass of whiskey, I gawked at the couple. Nadine glanced over her shoulder, then back at me?”

“What’s so interesting about that couple?”

I turned my attention to Nadine. “Sorry, he looks familiar.” My eyebrows wrinkled and bit my lower lip. “Do you feel like taking a drive? I need to pick up materials and deliver them to another work site.”

  She smiled. “I don’t mind.”

  ~

Parking the truck up the block from Mr. Jarvis’s house in the darkest location I could find. I stared out the rearview mirror. The decorative dark gray street lamps lined the dark streets of the suburban neighborhood. The couple drove into the garage.

“Nadine, slide over behind the wheel. I need you to follow me. I’ll be driving a baby blue two door Mercedes.”

  Her eyes bulked. “What!”

I slid my seat back, pulling her into my lap. She folded her arms.

“I need you to help me with this one thing.” I sucked on her pouty lips. “I promise I will make it up to you.” My lips grazed her breasts through her little black dress. “I will eat your pussy so good tonight, you’ll forget all about our little errand.”

Her fingers slid up the back of my hair. “I want you to fuck me so bad,” she moaned against my forehead.

“Baby, you have no idea how bad I want to fuck you. When I’m done fucking you tonight, you won’t desire another man to fill you. You will belong to me. If you so much as look at another man, I’ll end him.”

Nadine stared into my cold dark, crazy, possessive eyes. Her eyes lit up. Caressing my face, she forced her tongue down my throat.

Shit, I knew she was crazy. Or was I making her crazy with my words? Why did I say those words to her? I knew they were true. I realized I’m the crazy one. Nadine has me fucked up in the head. I should fuck her tonight and be done with her. But I can’t. She is my forbidden fruit. The woman who will never be mine, long-term. A deep dark part of my inner soul wants her. I know that is not realistic. How can I ask her to be with me, a hit man?

“I get the sense you are a strong woman. I’m about to test my theory.”

She wrapped her arms around my neck. I released her arms. I exited the driver side door. “I need you to pay attention. Ok?”

She nodded her head. I pushed the motorized leather seat button forward.

“That’s good. My feet can touch the pedals.”

“Don’t turn on the engine until I pull beside you.”

  “Ok.”

I pressed the door closed as I checked my surroundings. Walking toward the back of the truck, I lifted the trunk. I slipped out of my sports coat, climbing into a black uniform jumpsuit and black Gore-Tex boots. I placed my Glock and silencer into the right deep pocket and my small tool kit in the opposite pocket. I pulled the leather gloves onto my hands. Lowering the black cap close to my eyes, I lowered the trunk, softly.

Once I reached the two story newly built brick house, I unhooked the latch on the tall tan gate, walking into the backyard. The dog next door began barking. My heart raced. I crept along the back of the house. Peeking through the family room window, I caught a glimpse of the reflection from the TV. Stepping forward, I noticed a couple of lights were on upstairs. I turned dropping to my knees, utilizing my tool kit to unlock the door.

Slipping inside, I quietly padded over to the kitchen alarm panel. I clipped two wires inside, disarming the system. Inching along the kitchen wall, I peeked into the living room. I noticed Mr. Jarvis engrossed in the television. I approached him from behind, pressing the silencer against the back of his head. “Don’t say a word or I will go upstairs and kill your pretty little girlfriend,” I leaned into his ear, whispering.

The black and silver haired, short chubby man shook in his black leather recliner.

“We can do this one or two ways. You can persuade her to stay upstairs and you and I leave. Or I can kill you both right here. So, what’s it going to be?”

“I will persuade her to stay.” His voice trembled.

“Slowly, rise to your feet and slip on the brown loafers you wore earlier.”

His eyes widened. He crept over to the front door with his hands raised, slipping into his shoes.

“Lower your hands.” I motioned. “Tell her you are going out and you will be back.”

“Vera, I’m running to the store to grab a bottle…”

He glanced at me. My eyes narrowed.

  “…Of your favorite chardonnay.”

  “That is sweet.”

I heard her voice at the top of the stairs.

I stood on the side of the stair case pointing my gun toward his head.

“Climb into bed naked. I’ll be right back.” He mustered up a smile.

  “Sure thing, baby.”

I motioned my gun for him to move closer. “Grab your car keys and enter the garage.” I snatched the keys from his hand. “Walk toward the trunk.”

  “Please, don’t do this!”

“I’ll blow your fucking brains out if you don’t shut the fuck up.” I zip tied his hands behind his back, tossing him into the trunk. I gagged his mouth with a rag, then closed the trunk. I climbed into the driver seat, tapped the garage door opener, backing out of the drive way. I watched in the rearview mirror as the door lowered. I drove beside Nadine, then motioned for her to follow.

Twenty minutes later we arrived at Draper Lookout. Halting at the entrance, I powered the window down. I pointed toward the parking lot. Nadine drove around me, pulling into a parking space to the left. I drove to my right into a secluded area of the park. I popped the truck, hoisting the wide-eyed Mr. Jarvis out of the truck dropping him onto the dirt. I stood over his body, pointing my Glock at his head. He shook his head profusely, screaming around the rag stuffed in his mouth. “You never cross the Magarelli’s. Saying fuck Sergio and how you weren’t paying back your gambling debt.” I cocked my head to each side. “Now your debt has been forgiven.” Pop! Pop!

  CHAPTER EIGHT

  NADINE

  One minute, Tony
and I are enjoying the perfect dinner, then, I felt like I was eating dinner alone. His eyes were glued on a couple in the corner of the restaurant. Sitting on a dark suburban street, Tony stared out the driver's side mirror for a while then told me he needed me to drive. My heart raced when he pulled me into his lap. All I wanted was to be alone with him. The way he stared into my eyes telling me he would test his theory about me being a strong woman. What was that supposed to mean?

Later, I sat in the driver seat staring out the driver side mirror. I watched Tony walk away from the truck, wearing a dark cap and a mechanic's uniform. My thoughts were all over the place. Who the hell was this guy? And what was he up to?

Retrieving my Blackberry from my purse, I ran a search for Anthony Magarelli on the worldwide web. Maybe he was a criminal. He runs a nightclub. I pondered on the thought. Criminals run night clubs.

I found his father’s obituary. I learned his father died when he was thirteen. I scanned other articles. ‘Alleged Mob boss Sergio Salvatore Magarelli Sr. sends thousands of toys to kids in need overseas.’

Headlights lit the road. I tossed my phone into the passenger seat, glancing out the window. Tony gestured for me to follow. In the small window of time, I wasn’t able to find out any information about Tony. He turned the Mercedes into Draper park. He motioned his arm, guiding me to a parking space. I sat in the desolate park. It was 9:40 p.m. I squinted my eyes, glancing out the passenger side mirror, trying to make out where Tony was driving to.

Tap! Tap! I whipped my head to the left staring into a flashlight. I shielded my eyes.
