Suddenly Enthroned

“Why are you laughing?” He snickers too, I think because I am.
“Shut up. Stay on your back. Best enjoy this why you can, because I’m pretty sure you just killed me with that little maneuver. So since I’m going to expire any second now I might as well do it taking you for a ride one last glorious time.” I climb on top of him, positioning my knees just outside his hips. I pause above his still erect member and notice it twitch slightly as I wiggle slightly to make sure I’m right where I need to me. “You ready for this wild ride I’m about to take us both on.”
Antonio sits up quickly and slides us both towards the headboard, with his back firmly rested against it. He bends his knees and positions his hands on my hips to hold me motionless while he explains. “Not as deep like this.”
I lean back so my rear rests against his legs. “How do you know this?”
Rubbing his thumbs along my hipbones he confesses something that has me in stitches. “I asked the guys for advice, so Isaac sent me a link to a webpage that explained the positions that would be best these first few times.”
I fall forward and drop my head to his notable chest and start to chuckle again. “Isaac and Gino?”
He grunts. “I was trying to …”
Raising my head, I kiss his lips still laughing. “Shhh. So that painfully slow torture earlier was from this site?”
“You didn’t like it.” He drops his head back and gazes up at the ceiling.
“I didn’t hate it. Not after you grew a pair and started moving.” I kiss his jaw. “My sweet, sweet man. Thank you.”
Then I rise to my knees again and grab his lethal weapon, placing it between my legs and lower just enough to let the tip slip in. Positioning my arms on his shoulders I brace myself, take one breath before I slam home.
There isn’t really any pain this time, but I do suspect I could not possibly take him if he were wider. Which is when my eyes grow, as I begin to realize that he is expanding rapidly inside of me. Before I talk myself out of this, I decide to start moving. I lift my body up and then slam back down, up and then slam back down. Building up a rhythm that feels just about perfect.
I glance down between us, thinking that I am doing well, taking so much of him, until I notice there is still more. How in the ever-living realm am I supposed to fit all that inside of my body?
Where there is a will there is a way right.
“Move so I can take it all.” I order him.
“Larkin.” His grip on my hips tightens. “This is good.”
“But not great, so move your royal tushy, or lower your legs, or whatever you have to do so I can take all of you now.” I pinch his neck.
He mutters a slur of words and we are repositioning again. Once again, I find myself on my back with him hovering over me, somehow still inside of me. Griping my wrist, he pins them to the bed. Before I am able to complain, he hammers the rest of the way inside and doesn’t let up. He pounds forcefully; propelling my body up each time our bodies collide.
I want to touch him, need to touch him. “Let me go.”
He does, so I bring my arms around his back and down to his muscular globes. My eyes flutter as my focus starts to fade again. This time though, I can detect my inner muscles trying to hold him where he is deep inside of me, getting greedy about it when he retreats. So, I raise my legs to wrap them around his back, and I swear somehow, he seems to go just a tad deep. He must hit the button that was designed to send my entire body into one giant spasm. My legs lock around him, my toes curl, my hands clinch and the rest of my muscles contract and hold.
The most primal roar I have ever heard spills out of Antonio, echoing off the walls. One last thrust and his body trembles and jerks, as he empties his hot juices inside of me.
Once we both calm down, and he has rolled us onto our sides, I nuzzle in and ask the question on tip of my tongue. “Am I dead yet? Or do you suppose we might be able to do that again before I expire?”
Antonio’s chest is now vibrating and drenched in sweat. He smells better than he ever has, so I really hope and pray that God spares my life. What a shame it would be to go my whole life without knowing how wonderful sex can be. It would be even worse I imagine to figure it out and then have it taken away.
“You’re not dead or dying.” He kisses the top of my head still laughing. “Give me some time to recover and take a breather, then I promise to do it again. So tell me mi lunaita, what were you over there sketching when I woke up.”
“I was …” I yawn and feel my eyes becoming heavy. “I was capturing the most captivating thing ever. A sleeping paper tiger in all his glory.”
I yelp loudly and once again find my body trapped under his. So much for that nap he said he needed, looks like round three is about to commence right about now.
Chapter 35
Antonio
It is always hard to determine how others will react. You often predict one reaction and then get a completely different one all the way around. Therefore, I’ve learned to never assume anything until after everyone has all the facts.
Tonight, is the night we were scheduled to announce our engagement. People from all over this country have been invited. Most of them are very powerful members of the community, those who are considered upper class citizens.
There have also been a number of invitations sent to those who have in some way caught the attention of the royal family. A person who could be suffering from a life threaten illness, a member of the armed forces or law enforcement who was injured while serving, or perhaps someone who has done a spectacular job reaching out and making their community a better place to live. That number is not as big the first, but in my opinion, they are more important than the others.
Therefore, when the seating chart was constructed, I opted to have them sit closer to the front rather than being placed in the back. I know I will hear about it later from those who feel they have earned the better seats, but this is a brave new world and things are about to change.
Right now, I am standing in my designated spot, greeting everyone as they arrive. I hate this part. To me it only stretches these events out even more and is a waste of time. Typically, I have passed this task off to my mother, who seems to enjoy it much more than I do. Which is why I have her here standing next to me right now.
A few of my guests seem confused and have questioned me about why Larkin isn’t here instead. I simply explained that she was running a little late, needed more time to get all beautified for her big debut. And everyone seems to accept that explanation, until a malicious group of women and their escorts arrive, making me wish I had enforced my ban. But Larkin and I agreed to allow them to attend tonight’s celebration. It was sort of an extension of kindness, a second chance so to speak, to determine if the other night might have just been a fluke.
“Your Majesty.” Lady Karina takes the lead tonight. “I hope we didn’t frighten off your fiancée.”
“I can assure you that you did not. I should probably thank your little cluster of ladies; seems you sparked a little fire inside of her.” I pass her off to my mother so I can greet the next viper.
Lady Paschal’s sinister grin explodes on her face. “Your Majesty. No harm, no foul then. Perhaps she’d be interested in attending one of our charity fund raisers soon.”
“Perhaps. Although right now I’m afraid she is quite busy with her work. Her current project is very dear to both of us, so until she finishes, I just don’t see her being available to do so.” I pass her off and paste on a very fake smile as I greet my next guest.
“Well I guess she will have to choose what is more important to her once she becomes Queen.” Lady Dalia starts her incline forward, intending to press an inappropriate kiss to my cheek.
Thankfully my mother intervenes.
“Lady Dalia.” She reaches over and tows her towards her. “Looking as lovely as always.”
“Thank you, Your Royal Highness. I was just going to say that King Antonio looks rather ravishing thi
s evening as well. Too bad Miss Larkin is missing out. She really needs to learn the importance of punctuality I do believe. One can never be too careful about leaving such a good-looking man all alone.” She air kisses my mother’s cheeks.
“She will be here …” I start to tell her soon when a small hand lands on my back.
“Who will be here?” Larkin’s voice asks as she steps in between my mother and me.
We had agreed she would not be a part of this, that way no one would question her attire. However, I get the impression she got a whiff of the stench when they walked in, or someone alerted her of it. Either way I am happy she is here now. She looks as stunning as she did last night, and this time I get to truly appreciate how this dress fits her. My mind is no longer occupied with other scenarios; worried she’ll change her mind or come to her senses. She is forever mine and I am hers and together we will stand.
“That’s a very lovely white gown you have on. A little bold don’t you think for a modest event like this one. One typically saves a dress like that for a much more formal occasion.” Lady Genovese happens to be the next person in line.
“I don’t know Gen.” Dalia slowly drags her eyes over the gown. “I think she looks like the perfect little lamb. I’m sure that was the look she was going for.”
I am about to put an end to this and have them all escorted from the premises, but my lovely wife squeezes my hand and plays innocent. “Something like that yes. I’m certain the more of these events I attend, the better I’ll get at choosing my attire.”
“I’m sure.” The both sarcastically agree as they exchange a look.
“My love.” Larkin spins to face me. “I could use your assistance if it isn’t too much trouble. Seems I am not as well equipped as you at getting it to stay put without falling right off.”
I can hear the women all mumble to themselves as they listen to our private conversation. “Not at all mi lunaita. Lead the way.”
“Esteban said he would be glad to take your place here while we finish getting ready for introductions. Are you okay with that Angela?” Her use of our names so freely is not done out of disrespect. It is done to display her familiarity and prove to the others she is allowed to do so.
“Yes, I believe that is a very good idea.” My mother’s tickled expression about my wife’s sneakiness cannot be hidden. Neither can her words, or actions, when she leans towards Larkin and kisses both of her cheeks very respectfully, an action typically only done with a family member. “You will do just fine dear. Glad to see you took my advice to heart.”
Larkin glances over my mother’s shoulder at the women now gaping in her direction. “I have been dealing with difficult situations most of my life. So, I guess you could say I have been well trained for this.”
I tuck her hand in my arm and lead her out the back way. As soon as we round the corner, I whirl her around and trap her body against the wall so I can kiss her. Her small hands start to push me away, but when I press my full body against her, she grips my shirt instead.
“Get a room.” Lorenzo’s voice chuckles from behind us.
“I swear if the only reason you asked me to take his place Larkin, was so you two could go at it again, I’ll buy you prunes for Christmas.” Esteban leans up against the wall next to us. “Aren’t you two adorable?”
I pull back and glare over at my brother. “Don’t you have someplace to be?”
“I do. But I’m waiting for a few because right now Lady Maribel is greeting mother. She is doing her best to delay so she can …” Esteban’s voice breaks off and he gets this fierce expression on his face. “Why is Winnie here with Hector Colon?”
Lorenzo and I both step in behind him. Sure enough, Winifred Batista is standing next to a very handsy older Hector. She doesn’t seem as motivated about it as he does, and not for the first time I notice my brother looks like he could really hurt someone.
“Excuse me.” He marches through the door as he steps in next to my mother.
We all watch as he greets them, taking a little longer with Winifred. He even leans forward and seems to whisper something in her ear and I watch as she blushes.
I also notice Hector does not find his action amusing at all, so he steps up behind her to move her along. He too leans in to say something in her ear, and by the way her body straightens, it expresses more about what I am witnessing.
“Who is that?” Larkin asks watching as well.
“Hector Colon. His father is governor in of the southern district. Rumor has it that Aaron is training Hector to take over his job after his term ends. And by the looks of that, I’m guessing he is negotiating a marriage for his son, with a woman whose family has been trying to shove her away for a very long time.” I lean down and kiss Larkin’s cheek.
“I don’t understand all of that. Doesn’t she get a say?” Larkin glances up at me with a huge question in her voice.
“She probably has a trust fund or dowry that is large enough to get her to agree to just about anything. Stating that unless she marries a man of her father’s choosing, those funds will never be made available to her. The fact that she is still very young means she hasn’t quite gotten the courage to tell him no yet. I don’t get it either love, but the fact is it happens still.” I take her hand in mine. “Perhaps she will get the nerve to do so after she sees how happy we are. Perhaps we will start a revolution of sorts and end all these silly arrangements once and for all. Or maybe Esteban will finally do what he has been eager to do since that girl turned eighteen.”
We make our way to the dressing area. I quickly change into my more formal official attire. I made the decision to greet everyone in a dark suit and tie that displayed my colors, with my sovereign crested pin attached to my jacket.
Like the other women so non-discreetly pointed out, this was one of the less formal events that took place here at the Palace. It was simple a dinner party, so most of our guests were not displaying their most elegant wardrobes. Dressing much like they would if they were going out for a fancy dinner at one of the nicer restaurants in Aragon.
So now I slip into my tailored tux, gold vest, and replace my tie with the king’s medallion. I don’t typically wear a sash, mainly because I hate them, but tonight I place mine between my jacket and vest so Larkin and I match.
She will not have to wear one after tonight if she does not wish too. I believe the new crown I had forged for her will be the perfect statement for later events. It’s jewels of rubies and sapphires, encased in the purest gold, resemble the colors chosen to represent my reign and it should do just fine.
Tonight, however she will wear the customary Queen’s crown that has been passed down since the Reyes family claimed the throne. Redesigned slightly a few times while maintaining the original jewels and gold. It is a little heavier and can become uncomfortable I imagine, but if secured correctly it will stay in place and not move. Luckily my mother has taught us all how to properly secure a crown, and since only a royal’s hands are allowed to touch this crown, I am here to assist my lovely wife and teach her at the same time.
There is a knock on the door before it opens slightly. “It is time Your Majesties.” Isaac’s voice announces through the cracked opening.
“We are fully dressed.” My Queen announces. “What do you think Isaac? Am I going to make a statement or just get the gossiper whispering?”
He takes his time to look her over and then smiles. “Most definitely a statement my Queen. The gossipers will whisper no matter what, but this time the whispers will be about the statement you are sure to make. You look divine and King Antonio is most definitely setting the bar high. Shall we make our way to the Throne Room and let the festivities commence.”
Typically, our guests would be instructed to take their places in the dining hall, however tonight is not at all typical. We have asked that they be left in the Thorn Room, where we will greet them as a family united. A formal introduction of a new family member has always been done in this manner. This in
troduction will be no different, except for the fact that my guests are unaware that a family member has been added to our fold.
The back doors are opened and the introductions begin. I can verify the confusion on many of their faces as each member of my family is introduced before they enter. It is not how things are normally done when attending a dinner party and so the whispers begin.
I am excellent at reading lips, a critical gift I picked up on as a lad. A few are asking why do you suppose we are being introduced to the Royal family. Others are suggesting that we have gotten a little pretentious and making them all suffer through such an unnecessary event. And then there are those who are making remarks about the fact that my fiancée (remember they believe that is what Larkin still is) must feel the need to feel important, therefore I am appeasing her and making a big production of this whole debacle.
As soon as Princess Isabel makes her proud long walk down to the Royal Family platform where she joins my mother and sister, the trumpet singles my royal entrance. I am standing alone at the back for now, awaiting the presenter to speak his designated words.
“Your Majesties.” He bows and motions towards the door. “King Antonio Ramon Reyes and Queen Larkin Moon Reyes.”
I reach out my hand and bring my lovely Larkin into view. The entire room seems to gasp at the sight of her beauty. I must agree with them, she is one very beautiful Queen indeed.
Tucking her arm in mine I turn to her. “My Queen.”
Blinking slowly, she glances up at me and smiles. “My King.”
And together we begin the long stroll that leads to the thrones. We hear several congratulations during our unified march, along with the murmurs that ascend after we pass by. Larkin holds her head high and offers each person a genuine smile and respectful nod.
I am proud of her for not letting them get to her. I know that deep down she is most likely freaking out and will need me to calm her later. Let me assure you that I have no problem reminding her of the reason she agreed to marry me. It will be my pleasure, and hers, to wash away all the stress that sometimes shadows an event like this. I believe that all this will be much easier now that I have my Larkin to help me shake it all off.
