Raelin’s eyes rolled back into her head and she came close to passing out. The sensations of everything was just too much.
Del felt her wife fall over the edge a third time and smiled to herself satisfied. “You are so beautiful when you cum,” Del whispered into the back of Raelin’s neck.
Trying to catch her breath the witch trembled as her body fell over the edge one final time. She couldn’t move if she had wanted to. Delaney had loved her senseless.
Chuckling at Raelin’s relaxed state, she rolled her wife over and pulled her into a standing position, pulling her fingers away from her wife’s center. She wound Raelin’s arms around her neck and bent her knees a little hefting Raelin into her arms with a grunt. “Jesus,” she breathed with a chuckle, her arms wrapped under Raelin’s bottom. She managed to carry Raelin’s dead weight into the living room laying her wife on the couch. “You still with us, Witchy Woman?”
All Raelin could do was nod her head, she didn’t have the energy to do anything else.
“I have to take Tasha to the vet soon,” Del said softly, nuzzling Raelin’s cheek with her nose.
After a few minute, the brunette managed to say. “You may wanna take a shower before you go, because we definitely worked up a sweat.”
“Yeah, I know. It’s all your fault.” Del chuckled, kissing along Raelin’s damp brow. “I took the rest of the day off, so I can help you with the house. I bought some of those child safety covers for the electrical outlets. That’s what’s in the bag”
Raelin shook her head. “I hope that you don’t expect me to move for a while. You wore me out Darlin’.” She smiled at her wife.
“Well, my work here is done. It’s your fault for looking hot in that big men’s shirt.” Del chuckled.
“Remind me to do that again then,” the witch turned towards her wife, wanting to rest against her. “What time in the vet appointment?”
Wrapping her arms around Raelin and holding her close, she kissed the witch’s temple. “Not for another hour or so. I came home a bit early.”
“Mmm, lucky me.” Raelin nuzzled Delaney’s neck.
“You recovering already?” Del smiled, her hands moving to push Raelin’s shirt off her shoulders.
“You are like a drug to me...sometimes I can’t get enough,” the brunette admitted.
“Well, I can relate.” Del grinned, trailing slow hot kisses down Raelin’s jaw and neck.
“I bet you can. Thank you for loving me exactly the way I wanted,” Raelin murmured.
“You never have to thank me for that. I always want to be able to satisfy you Darlin’.” Del smiled, running her fingers through Raelin’s hair. “Can you do me a favor? Can you call Rori to bring Tasha so she can get ready to go? Do you have a carrier I can put her in or do you think she’ll let me carry her?”
“I have a carrier, but I think that you should ask her what she wants.” Raelin turned her head to look out the living room window and thought to her familiar. “Rori, would you and Tasha mind coming to the house?”
“You want me to help you upstairs so we can shower or do you want to just relax here a few minutes longer?” Del asked pulling Raelin’s shirt closed over her chest when she heard Rori and Tasha come into the house.
“I’ll just stay here, but would you mind finding my pants? I don’t want to shock Tasha?” Raelin asked.
“Oh yeah, hold on.” Del moved to the kitchen, blushing when she saw both cats looking at her and felt their amusement over the links she shared with both as she grabbed the slacks off the floor. She scurried back to the living room and helped Raelin pull them back on. “Uh, yeah, I think they are going to eat. I’m going to go shower, do you want anything before I go up?”
“No, I’m fine. Do you want me to fix you anything to eat before you go?” She wobbled a little bit as she turned towards the kitchen.
“I’m okay I guess,” she chuckled, reaching out to steady the brunette. “Boy, I think today has been my best work yet by the looks of things.”
“Yes ma’am, I do believe that it was. Well, I need some juice, Darlin’. You did wear me out.” Raelin leaned forward to press a gentle kiss against her wife’s lips.
Del purred into the kiss, resting her hands on Raelin’s hips pulling her closer as she deepened it.
“Mmm, you keep this up and you won’t be making that appointment,” Raelin breathed.
“You know, if it was any other appointment, I wouldn’t mind missing it.” Del chuckled, sucking on Raelin’s bottom lip.
“Yes, I know. We need to make sure Tasha and the kittens are healthy. We will continue this later.” Raelin patted Delaney’s cheek and pulled away.
“Lucky me.” Del chuckled, giving Raelin a last quick kiss. She turned to the two cats, sitting on their bench eating a quick snack. “Tasha, is there a way you would prefer to travel? We have a carrier or I can just carry you if you prefer.”
“If you wouldn’t mind, Delaney, I would prefer the carrier. Right now, I’m quite uncomfortable and I can lie down in the carrier, but next time I would like for you to carry me.” The feline licked Rori’s ear.
“Of course Tasha. Whatever is most comfortable for you.” Del smiled, amused by the affection the two cats showed each other. “Raelin, where do you keep the carrier? I’ll grab a soft towel from upstairs to put in the bottom of it so she’s comfortable. Do you think the Vet would let me bring Rori? Probably not huh?”
“No, Rori and I will stay here and wait for you guys. Won’t we Rori.” Raelin scratched her oldest friend underneath his chin. “The carrier is in the utility room on the third shelf.”
“Thanks Hun. I’ll take good care of her Rori.” Delaney pressed a quick kiss to the top of Raelin’s head before heading upstairs to shower and change. Setting one of the towels aside for the carrier, Del showered quickly drying off once she was done and changing into a pair of denim shorts and a well fitted t-shirt. It was a humid day out and she’d nearly died in the thick material of her uniform.
Pulling her damp hair into a tight ponytail, she made a quick stop into the utility room to grab the carrier, glad to see that it wasn’t one of the hard plastic ones but a fabric one with mesh sides. She placed the towel on the bottom, making sure it was comfy and set it next to the bench so Tasha could jump down into it instead of needing to be lifted. She observed the two felines, Rori’s tail twitching anxiously as he rubbed Tasha’s face with his own, and Tasha just looking exasperated. “Ready to go?” Del asked.
“Yes, get me out of here before this man drives me crazy.” She chuckled nudging Rori’s face away playfully.
“Tasha, don’t say that. I’m just concerned about you. You’ve never been in a car before, and I don’t want you to be scared.” Rori turned back towards the female.
“You are adorable, you big softy, but I’ll be fine. Delaney wouldn’t ever let anything happen to me and I’m sure she’ll do her best to keep me comfortable. I’ll just lay down and try to sleep, if the little ones will let me.” She purred, nuzzling his face, trying to reassure him.
“It will be alright Rori. You can keep me company while I finish getting the house ready for Ariel’s visit.” Raelin poured herself a glass of juice and took a huge gulp.
“Well, it’s not like I have much choice,” he muttered and turned back to Tasha. “You’re sure you’ll be okay?”
“I’ll be fine Rori. Stop being such a worry wart.” Tasha sighed affectionately. She gave him another quick lick, rubbing her nose against his cheek before gently jumping down into the carrier. “Let’s go before he changes his mind.”
Del simply smiled and turned to Raelin. “I’ll come home right after the appointment. I took the day off, but we are expecting Collin’s lawyer either today or tomorrow so if I get a phone call from the boys, I will have to head back in.”
“Okay, I have some calls to make but I have no plans to go anywhere today not that I would be any good after that little love session. I’m doing good being able to stand up. Y
ou rocked my world Darlin’.” Raelin laughed as she walked over to give her wife a kiss.
“Always glad to be of service,” Del joked bowing slightly at the waist. “See you in a bit.” She smiled, stealing one last kiss before gently picking up the carrier and heading for the Jeep.
Raelin turned to her familiar. “You really wanted to go with her, didn’t you?”
“Yes I did. I don’t want her to be alone for this,” Rori replied, watching as the Jeep pulled away. “I want her to know that I’m there for her, that I’m in this as much as she is.”
“She will not be alone, Rori. Delaney will not leave her side. Trust me when I say that Tasha is in very good hands.” Raelin picked up her friend and held him close.
“I know Delaney will be very careful with her that is not my concern,” he paused looking down. “What if there is something wrong? What if one of the little ones is in trouble or something?”
“Then you will comfort each other and try again. It is nature’s way. You know this. We don’t have to like it,” Raelin answered him honestly.
“You are right, of course. It is scary to think about though; I’m going to be a father,” he breathed, resting his head under Raelin’s chin. “It’s amazing how quickly things change. Last night, she let me rest my head against her tummy and I felt them moving Raelin. It took the breath out of my lungs.”
“I can’t imagine.” Sighing the witch put the cat back down on the bench and reached for the phone. Punching in a number, she waited until the call connected. “Hi, this is Raelin Delacroix...Yes, you got the fax? Good, and you’re clear on what I want? Excellent, and when should it be ready...really, that soon?...yes, I’ll contact my bank and have everything transferred over to your account ...good, and it will come with...fine, then I will expect it then. Thank you very much,” she hung up the phone with a smile.
“You are plotting something.” He smiled. “Do I dare ask?”
“Well, I got a new car so I decided that Delaney deserved something also. I bought her a Harley Davidson motorcycle, having it custom painted and delivered on Friday. Just picturing her astride a bike does something to me.” Raelin sighed and her eyes almost glassed over.
“I didn’t know she could drive a motorcycle,” he replied, trying to avoid thinking too hard about the look on his witch’s face.
The witch chuckled. “There are a lot of things that we don’t know about Delaney, but it sure is fun finding out about most of them.”
“She is rather full of surprises, isn’t she.” he chuckled back, his whiskers twitching in amusement. “You are growing rather attached to her little one.”
“No, do not call Ariel, Delaney’s. Jessie is her mother in every way that is important, and she is feeling some self-doubt right now. Especially now that Ariel is showing signs of having Empathy and Telepathy. While she is here, I want to begin training her how to block other’s thoughts or she’s gonna get herself into trouble.”
“How did you discover that?” Rori asked curiously.
“She was able to hear my thoughts yesterday morning. And that leads me to another question. How do you think that Tasha will feel about giving a kitten to Ariel?” Raelin bit her lip, awaiting the answer.
“How would you feel about giving away one of your kids?” Rori shot back, then winced when he realized how snappy he’d been. “I’m sorry, that was uncalled for. I’m not sure Tasha would be comfortable letting any of our children go; I don’t think I would be either, for that matter. Not without a good reason.”
“Forget I asked.” Raelin turned away. She had not meant to hurt Rori’s feelings, but she honestly thought that maybe since Ariel could talk with him, she would also be able to talk with one of his kittens. “I’m going upstairs to take a nap.”
“Raelin please, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to be so short with you. It’s something Tasha and I would have to think very hard about,” he said running in front of the witch and standing to lean against her leg to stop her.
“I said forget it,” the witch didn’t feel like trying to explain everything little detail. The good mood that she had been earlier had disappeared and all she wanted to do was to curl up in bed. She couldn’t entirely explain it.
Sighing, Rori let his witch go watching as she climbed the stairs and disappeared down the hall. He knew she would not talk to him until she’d cleared her head a bit or her mood improved so he resigned himself to waiting anxiously on the front porch until Delaney arrived home with his girl.
Closing the door to the bedroom Raelin took off her clothes tossed them into the hamper and got into the shower, turning the temperature as hot as she could stand it. For long minutes she stood there letting the water wash over her before she adjusted it to something more comfortable and cleaning herself. After finishing up she turned off the water reached for a towel and dried herself off.
Wrapping the towel around her, she padded into the bedroom and crawled between the sheets and pulled Delaney’s pillow close to her. Soon she was in a light sleep.

Setting the carrier down next to Rori, Delaney opened it up and smiled as the two cats greeted each other. “See? Safe and sound just like I promised. Any idea where your witch is?” she asked the male cat.
Sniffing around the carrier, Rori pawed at it until Delaney unzipped it allowing Tasha to get out. “She went upstairs a while ago...I may have said something to upset her.”
“What exactly did you say,” Delaney asked suspiciously.
“Good lord I leave you alone for an hour and you manage to get the most patient and even tempered human I’ve ever met angry. Some days I have no idea how she puts up with you.” Tasha purred nipping lovingly at his chin.
Rubbing his head against Tasha, Rori took a moment to purr at his mate, before he looked back up at Delaney. “She asked if we would consider giving one of our kittens to Ariel and I went off on her, asking if she would give away one of her children.”
“Oh Jesus, Rori. You know how sensitive she is about that subject.” Del sighed, rubbing her face.
“Rori, as much as the thought of giving away one of our little ones makes me uncomfortable, did you even ask her why she was asking? You of all people should know your witch well enough to know that she would never ask something like that without a reason.” The long hair feline admonished gently.
“I did ask her afterwards, but it was too late. I did not intend to hurt her feelings. I even told her that I noticed that she cared for your child. I thought that she would like to hear that.” The feline had the good sense to back up a couple of steps.
“Ariel is not my child; she is Jessie’s in every way that matters. The fact that Raelin is so good with children I would imagine is like rubbing salt into the wound. If you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go try and see if I can’t repair Raelin’s mood,” Del growled, stepping into the house.
“Rori, you need to start thinking before you speak. You and Raelin have been at odds with each other quite a bit lately. Did you ever think that it might be hard for her to see you with children when she herself has none? Even I can see the longing in her eyes when we talk about ours,” Tasha said quietly, curling against her mate in a patch of sun.
“I just could not believe that she had the gall to ask that we give away one of our children. I thought that she loved me.” Rori tried to explain his reasoning.
“I know, and I’m not entirely happy about the idea either. She does love you Rori, very much. I still think you need to be a little less defensive sometimes. Why don’t you let Delaney try to calm her down, maybe she’ll be willing to talk to us and explain her reasoning’s,” Tasha answered, grooming a patch of Rori’s fur.

Stepping into the bedroom Del noted Raelin’s form curled around her pillow and she climbed onto the bed next to her wife. She reached out and brushed a few strands of caramel hair away from Raelin’s face. “Hey, Witchy Woman, I know you’re awake.”
“Hi, what did
the vet say? Are she and the kittens healthy?” the witch quietly asked.
“Oh very much so. He was surprised with her condition, considering she’d been a field cat for so long. They did an ultrasound and there are four perfect kittens.” Del smiled, tracing Raelin’s face with a gentle hand.
Smiling, Raelin stated, “Soon we shall hear the patter of little feet and mewing all over the place. Are you hungry? I realized that you didn’t get to eat during your lunch hour.” The smile had disappeared from her eyes and now was replaced with sadness.
Del shook her head, tucking Raelin’s hair behind her ear. “Talk to me Darlin’,” she whispered softly.
“It’s stupid. Just let it go...I’m too sensitive to certain things right now. That’s all,” the witch quietly admitted.
“Nothing is stupid if it upsets you,” Del said quietly. Sighing, she gave Raelin’s shoulder a squeeze. “I guess if you aren’t up to talking that’s fine. I’ll just go make some lunch. Have you eaten?”
“No, I’m not hungry. I think I’ll just stay here and read the journal for a bit.” Raelin leaned to gently capture her wife’s lips in a gentle kiss.
Closing her eyes Del enjoyed the warmth of the simple contact tugging at the edge of the towel Raelin was wrapped in to draw the other woman closer.
“Yes dear, is there something that I can do for you?” A caramel eyebrow rose elegantly.
“Just want to feel you against me. We always fit so perfectly together.” Del smiled into Raelin’s cheek where she pressed a gentle kiss.
Raelin smiled at her wife. “We do, don’t we.”
“Like a puzzle.” Del grinned, her fingers tracing over the edge of the towel where it just covered her wife’s chest.

Del grumbled as she closed the file on Collins. His background check had come up empty; a simple Italian emigrated in the 90’s and not a black mark to be found. She had been unable to keep him and let him out when his lawyer posted bail. Now they had to wait for Douglas to finish scoping out the lawyers clients.
