Mrs. Peningham had long been preparing for Sarah’s wedding. The dress had been made, the celebration planned. Mr. and Mrs. Peningham liked Jashion very much.
Such a lovely day in the late fall was their wedding day. It had been unseasonable warm that fall. The leaves still held much of their green, but then the shades of autumn began to sprinkle in. Sarah was as lovely as could be, her blue eyes sparkled, her lips painted red, and her bright countenance shown. Mrs. Peningham smiled brightly and squeezed Mr. Peningham’s hand when they kissed.
