Always Fraser

“Maybe I just wanted to see what you would look like spread out over my desk, your long legs wrapped around my neck, in those sexy-as-fuck heels.” His eyes are intense, and his lips turn up at the side in that sexy smirk of his.

I don’t know why, but the way he says it has my lady parts throbbing with need. What the fuck is wrong with me? Where's the strong independent woman I'm supposed to be who would be mortified at such a comment? All Fraser has to do is talk dirty to me and I'm ready to follow his every instruction. Looks like I'm going to be late for work.

“When are the other boys coming in?” I ask, trying to sound more confident than I am.

“They’re not today.” He walks towards me, closing the gap between us, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me in for a kiss. Our mouths meet with force, the desperate need we have for each other too strong to resist. I know I shouldn't be doing this in his office, someone could drop in at any time. But as soon as he kisses me, my body softens into him and all logic is gone. I don't care about the consequences. I want him to do bad things to me, wherever and whenever he wants to.

My hands wrap around his waist and roam up his back, feeling the strong muscles through the fabric of his shirt. His hands slide down my back and stop when they get to my arse. He digs his fingers in, kissing me harder. Cupping my arse, lifting me, and turning me round so we’re leaning up against his desk. I can feel how much he needs me, and it's a massive turn-on. I'm dripping wet already, waiting for his next move.

He pulls back slightly, clearing a path on his desk. Then his lips are on my neck, I moan softly as he places kisses down my throat, sucking and nipping at my skin as he goes. At this point, I'm so turned on from him, I'm sure I could come from this alone. His hands roam up under my skirt, and it bunches around my waist as he places a hand on my stomach and lays me back on his desk. I prop up onto my elbows so I can see him. He's so sexy like this between my legs, looking down at me like I'm a delicious meal he's about to devour. My head spins with anticipation.

His smile is wicked. "You try to act like such a good girl, Elly, but I know for me, you’re anything but." He runs his finger over my sensitive spot. "You're so fucking wet for me, aren't you, gorgeous."

  "Yes," I whimper.

"He hooks his finger in the side of my panties, dragging them down my legs, then places them in his pocket. "These are now mine." His eyes twinkle with cheeky delight.

Is he kidding, he's going to keep my panties? Before I have time to protest, he lowers to his knees, pushing my legs wider on the table. He lifts one of my legs, placing kisses from my knee down my thigh. His fingers dig into my flesh as he goes. He runs a finger through my dripping wet pussy and my back arches off the table with need. I want everything he has to give me, and I don't have to wait long before he buries his face in my pussy, circling his tongue around my clit, then sucking me, licking me. He's devouring me, eating me up, and it's almost more than I can handle.

"Oh God, this feels amazing," I moan. My hands go to the back of his head and I lace my fingers through his hair. I'm greedy for more as my hips have a mind of their own and rise to meet his rhythm.

He pulls back and pushes in a finger, then another, circling it round, stretching me. I'm already on the edge as I try to dig my nails into his desk. I feel him lower his lips to me again and sucking on my clit harder this time, as he pumps his thick fingers in and out of me. My body rises to meet his thrusts. My eyes roll back in pure pleasure. There is a loud bang and what sounds like the front door opening. I go to jump up, but he places his hand on my stomach and goes harder with the other hand, tipping me over the edge. I cover my mouth as the orgasm ripples through me and he continues to lap me up, every last little bit of me. My eyes glance over to look at the door to his office. It's open! Shit! Blake or Ash are going to walk in at any moment.

He stands and pulls me up to him. I straighten out my now very crumpled-up skirt and try to fix my hair before Blake walks in on us in this compromising position. Why didn’t I even close the door? Luckily it sounds like Blake has gone straight to his own office first. I grab my bag and head for the door, but Fraser catches my wrist in his hand.

“Gorgeous, that was fucking unbelievable,” he says, cupping my face and fixing my lipstick with his thumb. I must look an absolute mess.

I try to pull out of his hands, feeling awkward about what we just did. In his office of all places. “I’ve got to go, Fraser, I’m going to be late for work.”

Blake knocks at the door and we both look over to him. “Hey, guys, how did the meeting go this morning?”

“I'll let Fraser fill you in, I’m late for work,” I say, pulling out of Fraser’s grip on my wrist and rushing out of the office. I can feel my face is flushed. How embarrassing! It's going to be obvious what we were doing. My red power lipstick is probably smeared all over my face. Blake's going to think I’m a complete slut.

“See you later, Elly, thanks for taking a look at that project for me. So good to have you around the office,” the smug bastard says with a massive smile on his face. He could care less if Blake had walked in on us. It was probably his plan all along.

I feel so naughty and dirty, I have never done anything like that before in an office, much less out of the bedroom at all. But I kind of like it, I feel exhilarated at the same time. And it was about me, not him. A girl could get used to that kind of special attention. Just maybe not in his office next time.

I drive home as quickly as I can, my heart still thumping in my chest, and run in the door to my room to change into my jeans and work T-shirt, and to find some new underwear. I was hoping to have time for lunch but there's no way now. I don’t want to be late on my second week of working there. I’m already a complete disaster on the coffee machine. I fix up my makeup and run out the door.

I make my way up the street as fast as I can. “So sorry, Indie, I got held up at the office with Fraser,” I say, almost out of breath.

“Hey, chickee, don’t worry about it.” She checks her watch. “You're here on time and we’re not busy anyway. You okay, though? You look kinda stressed.”

I throw on my apron and start my shift helping Indie, wiping down tables and packing the dishwasher after the lunch rush. “Yeah, all good, just a rush to get here.”

“Wasn’t that you were fooling around with Fraser? It’s so obvious something is going on with you two!” she questions, raising her eyebrow at me.

I slap my face, covering my eyes dramatically. “Is it that obvious?” I know I’m smiling like a total goof, but I can't help it.

  “It’s totally obvious, chick!”

“I don’t even know, Indie. What am I doing? When I’m around him I’m not thinking straight. I know we shouldn’t... you know, because of his friendship with Drew, but there's always this fucking hot chemistry between us. I can't help myself.”

“It was obvious you guys were into each other back in high school. It doesn't surprise me at all now that you’re home and you’re both single that you're wanting something more.”

“Well, what am I supposed to do about Drew? He’d kill us if he ever found out.”

“Drew's a big boy. We’ve all grown up now, I’m sure he’ll be fine.” She waves it off like it’s nothing.

“I don’t know about that. When we were younger it was the one pact we had—best friends were off-limits. I didn’t stick to that back then either. Swear you won't tell anyone what I’m about to tell you.”

“I swear.” She crosses her heart.

“After the graduation party, Fraser and I had a fight and somehow I ended up back at his place.” I look up at her with my hands over my eyes again, I can barely say it.

  “And?” she questions.

“We both had a moment of weakness and we ended up, well, you know.”

“Having sex! I can't believe you still can't say it out loud, Elly, how old are you?” She laughs at me. “Stop stressing about it. It’s not as big of a deal as you’re making it out to be.”

  “It
was a big deal. He was my first, you know, it was a big deal for me anyway. But straight afterwards we had a massive fight and that was when I decided to move to Sydney. I didn’t see him again until last week.”

“I always wondered why you took off so quickly and didn't spend the summer here with the rest of us. Now it all makes sense. Honestly though, Elly, I think you're just being a drama queen. It’s going to be totally fine. Maybe just don’t tell Drew that part; it's in the past, he doesn't need to know.”

“Oh thanks, now I feel heaps better. I'm just a drama queen,” I say, rolling my eyes at her as I wipe the tables with more force.

Indie’s phone rings and she walks out the front to take the call.

Am I just being overly dramatic? Maybe Drew would be okay with me seeing Fraser. It's not like they're as close as they used to be, and we are adults now. There is also the weirdness of telling my parents.

Indie comes back into the café all excited.

  “Guess what.”

  “What?” I say.

“Is what you said the other day about wanting to move out of your parents’ place still true?”

“Yeah, it's definitely time. You got a plan?”

She claps her hands together in excitement. “Do I have a plan. You know how I have been wanting to have my own art gallery for a while now? Well, the current tenant of the gallery in the Main Street of Broken Point has just finished up their lease and they're offering it to me! I won't be able to afford to rent the gallery and my apartment, so I was wondering if you wanted to move into the gallery with me? It’s got a two-bedroom apartment at the back.”

“Let me think about that for a minute. Hell yeah! That sounds awesome. When can we move in?”

  “Really? You’re really keen?”

“Um, yeah. This is exactly what I need. Freedom! Let's do it.”

She claps her hands with excitement again. “Oh, Elly, this is going to be so much fun! We can get the keys next week if that's not too soon.”

“Definitely not. This is going to be awesome.” We hug in excitement.

  Chapter Nine

  Fraser

I’ve been trying for hours to draft up the plans for a new development we're working on. Ash is on my case and wants the plans in to council by the end of the month, but I feel like I’m getting nowhere. It's nearly 4pm, and every time I get started, I’m interrupted by another call. We have taken on so many new clients since opening up last year. I think our business is almost at the point where we need to hire someone to take care of the office, with all the day-to-day running of the business and answering calls, so I can get on with the designs and Blake can be on site more with his building crew.

I throw my pencil down, frustrated. I need a break. I'll go annoy Blake, see what he thinks. He’s back in the office after the morning on site fixing up some last-minute problems with the Broken Point townhouses. They should now be ready for Elly to go and style on Friday.

I knock on his office door then walk right in; he’s busy on his computer with something. “How did you go this morning at Broken Point?” I ask.

“Plumbers have fixed the problem and I ran the final inspection so they're ready to sell.”

“Great, what’s wrong with your computer?”

“Just trying to fix the invoicing for this job but this program is a pain in the arse. I don’t have time for this today!” He looks up at me over his computer. “We need an office manager.”

“I was just thinking the same thing. I’ll leave it to you to find the right person then?”

“Like I haven’t got enough to do,” he grumbles.

“I'll find someone then?” I suggest.

“No, I’ll do it. You'll hire some busty bimbo so you have someone pretty to look at. We need someone that can run the office, take calls, invoice, do all the jobs we don’t have time to do.”

Dodged a bullet there, I can't think of anything worse than having to run interviews. It's much more Blake’s department. He's better with people.

“Okay, thanks, man. I know you’ll find the right person for the job. I’m just heading over to the Walkers’ to check on a few of the finishing details for the holiday rentals before we start on them. I’ll see you back at home later.”

“Yeah right, that's what you're checking over, nothing to do with Elly,” he mutters under his breath.

He’s right, checking on the samples just gives me a good excuse to see her. Elly hasn’t bothered to get in contact since she ran out of here on Monday, and I think it's time I paid her a little visit. She thinks she's playing hard to get but I know her better than that. She's trying to run because she's scared. She just needs a reminder of what she is missing out on by avoiding me.

I knock on the door at the Walker house and Drew answers. “Hey, man,” I greet him, “your sister around? I need to check out the new samples she's found for the holiday villa bathrooms.”

“She’s still up at the café, but she should be home soon. I think her shift finished at 4.30. Can you hang around for a drink?”

“Sounds good, I’ll just have a soft drink. I've still got work to do tonight.” He grabs two Cokes from the fridge and I follow him out to the back deck.

“Where did you take off to Saturday night? We were all wondering where you were.”

“Sorry, yeah, I got an important call, and it was too late by the time I finished so didn’t come back.”

  “What important call?” he questions.

  “Mum.”

  “Oh.” His face falls.

He knows not to ask any more questions about that. He was there through all of the shit with her in my teenage years, and unlike Blake who knows the whole story, Drew and I deal with our problems in the best way we know how. Ignoring them!

It looks like Anne has just arrived home from work. She's carrying piles of folders as she pushes through the front door and dumps them down on the dining room table. She looks up and notices we’re out the back and walks out to us on the deck.

“Afternoon, boys. Do you get to slack off when you run your own business, Fraser?” she says with a warm smile.

“Nice to see you too, Anne,” I say sarcastically.

She laughs. “Oh, you know what I mean.”

“I came to talk to Elly about the samples for your accommodation. She's not back from work yet so we're just catching up while we wait. But yeah, it's pretty nice working your own hours.”

“Well, I’ll leave you boys to it. You should stay for dinner, though, make the most of it while Drew's home.”

“That would be nice, thanks, Anne, think I will.” Staying for dinner sounds like a great idea. Make Elly squirm a bit, that will teach her to avoid me.

The only problem is it's a little more awkward than I thought it would be hanging with Drew. I don’t like lying to my mate. It doesn’t sit well with me. I just want to fess up, tell him how I feel about his sister. It's one of the reasons that we didn’t stay as close as I thought we would have after high school. I felt so guilty about what happened after our graduation. It's not that I didn’t want it to have happened. I just didn’t like lying to him about it. So we kind of drifted apart.

“You should come down and watch the rugby this weekend,” I offer. “We're playing the Dolphins at home, and there's always some sort of a brawl. It should be entertaining to watch, and I know the other guys from school would want to catch up with you. Most of them are still the same as the last team we played in before you got famous and left us.”

“I’m not famous, yet.” He laughs, “Yeah, I’m in, it should be fun. You want another?” He holds up his drink.

“Nah, I’m good, thanks.” Drew heads inside to get another drink, and as he does, the front door swings open a little too quickly, with Elly making a dramatic entrance. Always the drama queen. Looking a little dishevelled, her ponytail half falling out. She’s cute in her café uniform with her signature tight jeans. Her eyes find me, and she gives me a little smirk as she mouths, “What are
you doing here?”

“Hey, sis, you want something to drink?” Drew yells to her from the kitchen.

“Please, make it alcoholic,” she calls back. He hands her a beer and she follows him out to the deck where I’m sitting. Kicking off her ballet flats, she jumps in the egg chair and sits cross-legged as it swings back and forth.

“You look like you’ve had a long day, Elly, you okay?” Drew asks her.

“You have no idea, Drew!” She rolls her eyes in an over-the-top way.

“Sounds like we're about to get the full dramatic story,” he grumbles.

“Well, you asked, so shut up and listen. First, this morning we had some sort of mothers’ group with six screaming toddlers that were allowed to run amuck; you really think they would have taken them to a park or something. I'm sure small children don’t want to be at a café. Anyway, then, would you believe it, we had three spilled milkshakes during the lunchtime rush, and to top it off, some kid projectile vomited all over one of our outdoor tables."

  “Eww,” we both say.

“So yeah, it has been a long day!” She sighs. “What have you boys been up to?”

“Fraser’s here to see you,” announces Drew.

“Oh, what for Fraser?” she says as her eyes widen and she looks a little scared.

“Just about the samples for the holiday villas, but that can wait till later. Your mum’s asked me to stay for dinner, so I’ll be here for a while,” I say with a cheeky smile.

“Oh, okay.” I can see the relief wash over her as she realises I’m not here to out us just yet. She skulls her beer. “I’ll leave you boys to it then. I’m going to take a shower, wash this bad day off me.” She jumps out of the chair, leaving it swinging, and heads inside.

  Elena

Kill me now. Could this day get any worse? Not only have I had a shitty day at the café, but now I come home to chill out and Fraser’s here looking sexy as fuck when I'm trying not to think about him. Flashing me that cheeky smile of his. He's up to no good, I just know it. Oh, and getting an invitation for dinner, how convenient. This is going to be so awkward. How am I supposed to act like a normal person around him, knowing we're hooking up behind everyone’s backs?
