Love and Beyond Part 3

  Bobby said, “So you are saying we are the first ones to be cursed and damned.”

  Sam looked up at him and said, “Like I said, there are so many that it is impossible to discover what is truth or not. But this is very obvious. Gloria attempted to do one of the dances. Time has gone back that much, I know for a fact. But what she did and why I do not know. Nor do I know which dance she attempted.”

  Bobby laughed and said, “Now I think you are crazy.”Sam stood and smiled. “How would you like to learn something?” Bobby looked at him and said, “Like what.”

  “How to throw a wave of magic like I did on you earlier?”

  Bobby stood and said, “Now that was interesting. You bet. I would love to learn that.”

  “Follow me.” He walked out of the office and Bobby followed behind him. They walked into the first private room they came to. After Bobby was in, Sam shut and locked the door. Sam saw him looking at him and said, “I don’t teach this to just anyone. So I locked it to keep ease droppers out.” Bobby spun and waved his hand. Sam laughed and said, “There is a dance you must first do. He walked over and said, “Take the stance as if we are going to do the waltz. I will lead, then after you have done it a couple times, you will do it alone.” He started moving and Bobby followed him. As they were dancing, Bobby felt strange on the inside. A few minutes later, Sam said, “Now that is how you do it, you moron. When you have her on the floor, do that. She knows how to follow.”

  Bobby looked around and said with a confused voice, “Okay, but why are we in here?”

  Sam shouted, “Goddammit, boy. Do you ever pay attention to any fucking thing? You are wasting my time. Get your ass out of here.” Bobby walked over to the door; it was locked. He looked back at Sam.

  Sam said sarcastically, “You locked the fucking thing.”

  Bobby said, “I did?”

  Sam crossed his arms across his chest and said, “No you jackass, the door fairy thought we needed some privacy.” Bobby gave him a confused look, unlocked the door, and walked out. Sam stood with a concentrated look upon his face and thought, ‘They are in more danger than I even thought. If I didn’t know any better she dominates him. Either that or they started the bond. I have got to stop this. The damned have been released. The feel of time magic is strong on Gloria. I have no doubts in my mind she is connected to another realm along with this one. But how in the hell is that possible? Only possible answer is a conversion. I have got to break the bond between her and Stanley, but how? I am starting to think maybe I was wrong in telling William that the Dreams inside the Dream isn’t taking place. But if it is, then so much is being hidden or covered up. Who could hide such a thing?”

  Later that night, Gloria stood in the shower. As the water beat down on her back, she thought, ‘What is wrong with me? This afternoon, I practically raped Britney. Not that she cared. Something is happening, and I don’t know what. I have got to get a grip on things.’ She got out of the shower and went to bed. Bobby was lying down. She crawled in beside him and kissed him. His arm went around her. “What did Sam want to talk to you about?” she asked curiously.

  “I don’t remember.”

  She leaned up. “What do you mean you don’t remember? You were in there with him over an hour.”

  Bobby shrugged. “I know. It was the fastest time has ever gone by. I don’t remember anything.”

  Gloria kissed him again and felt something off about him. ‘Sam must have erased his memory, but why. What is he up to?’ Bobby must have told him something that he didn’t want me to hear.’ When the kiss was over, she looked him in the eyes. “Bobby, the time for lying is over. The night you and Nicole bonded, you fucked someone. Who? I want to know everything that happened and leave nothing at all out.”

  “Gloria, not this again,” Bobby whined.

  Gloria got up out of the bed and walked over to the dresser. “What are you doing?” Bobby said with a confused voice.

  “I’m leaving you, Bobby. If you can’t admit what you did and think that I don’t know you did something, then we don’t need to be together. I tell you a lot of things, Bobby. Hiding it makes it worse.” Bobby stood and walked over to her.

  Britney went home and had been home two days when she walked out of the bathroom drying her hair with a towel and walked into something. She moved the towel from her face as she heard, “Having a bad hair day, dear?” JD said with a grin on his face.

  She kissed him and held him tight. “I have leftovers. Give me a second to brush my hair and I will get your supper on,” Britney said in an excited voice.

  “I want to shower anyway. How things go in Spokane?”

  “Started great and went to shit. Ivan and Nicole are still there.”

  JD started pulling his clothes off and said, “So what was so crappy about it?”

  “More shit about the curse. Thank god, I am going to be done with it in a few months.”

  “Sounds fun. Tell me all about it when I get out of the shower.”

  He got in the shower. Britney grabbed a brush and walked to the kitchen. She started cooking. As he walked into the kitchen, she had him some coffee made. He sat down and she handed him a cup and made herself a cup. She started talking telling him everything that went on.

  He was smiling, and she said, “So what do you find funny, JD?”

  “You, you are beautiful when you are agitated.”

  “So you’re not mad?”

  JD laughed slightly. “About what? So far, you haven’t said shit that affects me. No disrespect for the dead, but hell, he isn’t a threat in the least. What you did and what you felt back then, well hell, that was then. I don’t see the point in digging him up saying she is mine and shooting.”

  Her heart raced as her eyes opened wide. She dropped her cup and said with a quivering voice, “Please, don’t ever say that again, JD. I love you. I wouldn’t leave you for him. But don’t ever mention shooting him again, please.”

  He walked over to her and wrapped his arms around her. “I am sorry, baby. I didn’t mean no harm. I was just trying to say that there is no point in getting mad at the man. I shouldn’t have said it that way. His memory still upsets you. I am not saying you love him more, but you do love him.” His voice softened as he kissed her head. “I can live with that, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

  She looked up at him. “Yes, I do. I will always love him, Jake. Just like I will always love you.” She kissed him and smiled. “My sexy husband.”

  “You need glasses.”

  “I like the glasses I am wearing now because you are the only man I see.”

  “Lord, you are in trouble.” He kissed her and started cleaning up the glass and she finished cooking. He gave her a curious look and said, “Did you and Bobby have sex that night?”

  She shook her head and said, “I told you that you were the first man I’ve had sex with.” JD could tell by the tone in her voice and the look on her face she wasn’t being completely honest but didn’t pry any further.

  Bobby and Gloria had been home for a month. Bobby went over to visit JD. That evening, he went home. Gloria was sitting in the living room. “How was your visit?” Gloria said casually as he walked into the room.

  “Good. You could have come.”

  “Too afraid. You might have said something and he shot me,” she said sarcastically.

  “Not this again, Gloria,” Bobby said as he let out a sigh.

  She stood up. “Why not this again, Bobby? I see what the two of you think of me. What you thought of Stanley. I am unreasonable, she gets you off, and you get her off, then you fuck. You call that doing nothing? Let me let you in on a secret, Bobby. For her to be like that over him before the bonding. That means she did a whole hell of a lot more than what the two of them say she did. Not only that, you were in the same shape as her before you bonded. The two of you were in a committed
relationship. You have the nerve to question me. Not only do you have the nerve to question me, you talk about me behind my back. Then you think out the precautions I have taken to give you what you want. You have the nerve to say I wanted you to do this. Tricking the two of you into completing the curse. Not this again. Should I make my will out?” She walked out of the room.

  “Gee, I should have stayed over there,” Bobby said as he blew out a breath.

  “You know the damn way back, Bobby. After all, talking to her before your wife seems to be your way of thinking how a marriage is supposed to go. Why don’t you ask her what the fuck you should do about a pissed-off wife? Send her husband to kill her,” she called out to him as she slammed the door.

  Bobby stood there for a moment and walked into the bedroom. Gloria was getting undressed and putting on her night clothes.

  “Need something out of here before you go?” she said sarcastically.

  Bobby shook his head. “You don’t tell me everything.”

  “I do talk to you, Bobby. I tell you everything I think, everything I said to him, and everything he said to me. I didn’t do a damn thing behind your back.”

  He looked at her. “I didn’t go behind your back, Gloria. When you asked me what I said, what he said, and what Britney and I talked about, I told you.”

  “After the fact, you told me. I should have been the first,” she said as Bobby approached her. ‘Not this again,’ she thought as she bit his tongue while he was kissing her.

  Bobby pulled away. “Ouch, that hurt.”

  “Keep that to your damn self. Along with everything else of yours. I am your wife. That means I come first, Bobby. You are my husband and you come first.”

  “Gloria, you do come first,” Bobby pleaded.

  “I asked you how you made it through the night until I got there. You said it was hard, but you handled it. I don’t recall you saying you was hard, she was wet, and handled it.”

  “I didn’t want you to go ape shit like you are now,” he admitted.

  “I am going ape shit because at the time you should have been truthful you lied. For all I know you could have done something else and are not telling me.”

  He grabbed her and threw her down on the bed. She started getting up and he shoved her back and she started hitting him. He lay down on top of her, pinning her arms over her head. He said, “Now you are rampaging on about something that don’t make no sense. What the hell is wrong with you? You won’t let me touch you. You are saying the same things over and over.”

  She started trying to get free; he started kissing the side of her neck. Gloria thought, ‘Oh shit, this is not good. Damn.’ “Stop it, Bobby!”

  “I will as soon as you tell me what the hell your problem is.”

  “I have told you and you are not having sex with me. So get up and let me go.”

  Bobby started kissing her ear and said, “Have sex with you. Now that is an idea.”

  Gloria thought, ‘Damn, this ain’t good at all.’ She said, “An idea is all it will be, Bobby.”He released her hands as he started sucking on her neck. She lay there. As she felt the stinging of the suction of his lips and her skin going into his mouth. The thought of him having angry sex caused the nerve endings between her legs to harden. ‘Fuck, this isn’t good.’ “Get up, Bobby, please.” Her tone soft.

  “Okay, Gloria.” He pushed himself up and walked out of the room. He walked to the bathroom, got undressed, and got in the shower. After taking a shower, he stood with his head next to the wall, letting the water beat on his back.

  The water stopped hitting him as he heard Gloria say, “I’m not letting you use up all the hot water.” Then Bobby felt her body next to his and her hands went around his waist resting on his lower abdomen. “Why didn’t you just come and talk to me, Bobby? Britney got pissed at me bigger than shit. The two of you think I am trying to get the four of you to complete this curse. That is not true. You think I had ulterior motives to take you to Sam. I did not. Sam asks those questions about the night the two of you bonded. He keeps records of the bonding and the completion of the curse to help others. Now he might not say everything he is doing, but I can assure you he has your best interests in mind.”

  Bobby turned and grabbed her, pinning her next to the wall, and said, “Is sex all you want and all you want to talk about, Gloria? Fine. Let’s talk about sex.” He grabbed her by the butt and lifted her up.

  “You wouldn’t,” she shouted at him.

  Chapter 16

  Surprise

  Bobby lay by Gloria’s side, holding her. He said, “That was incredible.”

  “Bobby,” she said as she faced him. “That was the magic she used. That is close to what it feels like when you start the completion. It was called dominating. Those ways have long been forgotten. Like I said, there are countless tales. It isn’t about sex, Bobby. Most men, when they bond, will have sex two, three, sometimes four times that night.

  “What you said happened is very close to what is recorded being dominated is like. I am not comparing the two of you by any means. When we were taken from Antonio and Juanita’s house after we had bonded, I talked to Stanley about what happened. What he told me was a lot like what you said Britney said. I have held three in my life that stand above all others. Antonio was one, Stanley the other, you are the last. This is something I never told anyone. I told you on the way home we were in a wreck.”

  Bobby nodded and said, “You were in a coma for several days.”

  “Yes, shortly after we were home, I went into the office for something. The closet in the office was large, a walk-in closet. The door was unbalanced and would always close on its own. I was about to walk out when I heard voices. Sabrina said, ‘I am sorry for my unusual request. Who did you give your report to?’ Antonio said, ‘Julie Chandler.’

  “‘What did you tell her?’ A moment of silence and Sabrina said, ‘Tony, I need to know what you told her. Did you tell her the truth?’

  “‘Yes, I told her the truth. I just didn’t tell her all the truth. Why is this so important? Can’t the girl have some kind of privacy in her life? For god sake, Sabrina.’

  “Sabrina walked over and said as she placed her hand on his shoulder, ‘I want to tell you a story. Out of all the legends myths and tales about this curse, this one is the most unlikely but the most dangerous. Like I said, we do not know what happened or what is real or not. The Sheamalights came from another existence. They are the reason dancing became magical. The dancers became so powerful they would have destroyed this existence. They changed the path dancing was to take.’

  “Antonio laughed. ‘Sabrina.’

  “He went silent as she said, ‘That is what it feels like to have someone control your body, Antonio. It is very plain that this curse is hiding something. Do I force you or do you willingly answer my questions?’

  “He nodded. ‘What do you want to know?’

  “‘You have been with women. You know what an experienced woman is like. You also know what it is like to be with one not as experienced. Which was she?’ Sabrina asked with a curious look upon her face.

  “He looked away. ‘Experienced.’

  “Sabrina paused for a moment. ‘Was it like the completion of the curse?’

  “‘In a way, yes, but not.’

  “Sabrina folded her arms across her chest. ‘How so.’

  “Antonio pressed his lips together and said with an embarrassed tone, ‘It was longer. Sabrina, please.’

  “‘Goddammit, Antonio, that is my daughter. Do you honestly think I want to hear about her sex life? My God, Tony, you don’t see the power that they have.’ She walked back over to him and said in a threatening tone. ‘Tony, something bad very bad is predicted to happen. Love stronger than the curse brings certain horrors to those that are born to dance. I am telling you that child, if she wasn’t ignorant, can fight t
he gods.’ Tears came from her eyes ‘I have got to protect my children. Please, Tony!’ she pleaded.

  “‘It lasted longer than it should have. Everything about her body was perfect. She was moist, tight, and hot. Most women open up when they have an orgasm; she did not. I do not know how many times she came.’

  “‘You certain she came,” Sabrina said with a frightened tone.

  “‘I do not know much about the inner workings of a woman’s body. But the bed had a very large saturated spot on it. I mean more than just wet or damp. Unless she peed herself. To answer your question, I have been with several experienced women in my life. She was better than most of them. For her part it was like it was when Juanita and I started the completion.’

  “Antonio stood and walked out of the office with Juanita with him. Sabrina picked up a recorder and said into it, ‘I believe with all my heart Francois was right they are the ones that will break the curse and restore magic back to dancing. Gloria is the most beautiful young lady I have ever seen. As powerful as they are, I don’t think they will survive. The unexpected love must bond after death or during death. So much my God in heaven please spare my children. Have we not suffered enough for this curse?’”

  Gloria looked up at him. “The signs say that the damned will be released the twins will be united with the loves they once had. Upon bonding with a dance mate, it will be like they were dominated. Stanley said he came many times inside Juanita. She said she came just as many times as him. She counted seventeen, the age of Dannarr when the curse was started. Bobby, I don’t tell you everything because I do not know what is real or truth. I do not tell you a bald-face lie. You lied to me. Bobby you do not understand what you did by telling me lies.” She got up. He sat up on the bed as she said, “Since his death, I haven’t been the same. Sometimes I find myself speaking out loud to him as if he was standing beside me. I can tell I’m changing and I don’t like the woman I am becoming.

  “I don’t tell you everything because, to be honest, you wouldn’t believe a thing I said, and you would think I’m crazier than I sound. I told you everything bad I did. You lied to me. If you want to know the truth, Bobby, you got him killed. If you would have told us what you told me, we would have stepped back and take a harder look at what happened.” She saw the look of pain that was on his face. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that. I can’t take back the words once they were spoken.” She turned and walked out the room as Bobby sat looking at the floor.
