“Yeah. You okay with that?” I asked as she nodded and kissed me.

She tasted sweet like the drinks she’d enjoyed over the night and I kissed her hand, sliding a hand into her hair. The kiss was hot, and I knew that we were both ready for what we’d been teasing each other over all night. I lowered my hands down to cup her ass and lifted her against me as she secured her arms around my neck. We walked to the bed that was centered against the wall, taking up much of the suite. Liz moaned as I lowered her down, dropping between her spread thighs.

We kissed hard as I pressed into her, running my hands up her sides as she whimpered. I wanted this dress off so I could finally see her, taste her.

She struggled with my button-up shirt, sliding it off. I tossed it aside and reached for her dress, watching as she sat up to slip it over her head. She was wearing a sheer black lace set that made me stop and stare for a moment. “You’re beautiful.”

“I never actually thought anyone would see this when Karen suggested that I buy it.” Liz blushed and started to curl her body up.

“No, don’t. I need to see you.” I told her as she met my eyes. I kicked my jeans off and left my black boxers on, lowering myself to the mattress again. She waited for me, gripping the comforter before I kissed her. Her skin was hot and soft as I tilted my head to deepen the kiss, feeling her tongue move against mine. I kissed her until she was gasping before moving down her neck, sucking her skin between my lips. She arched into me, pressing her hard nipples into my body as I groaned.

I watched as she unhooked her bra, tossing it to the side before I cupped her right breast. She moaned and I kissed her, pinching her between my fingers as our tongues danced together. I moved my mouth down to capture her nipple in my mouth, sliding a hand down to cup her pussy over the lace. She was soaked and I searched for her swollen clit and stroked it slowly, feeling her rock against my hand. I moved to her other nipple, drawing her between my teeth as I moved my hand to rip off the underwear, feeling her gasp in surprise. I stroked her folds as I sucked on her, bringing her to the edge as I focused on her nub. I slipped a finger inside of her as she cried out my name.

When she was whimpering, I moved my mouth down her body. My cock was aching for her, but I wanted to have every part of Liz that I could. I realized that I wanted this for a long time and here she was, willing and waiting for me. I inhaled her sweet musk before pressing forward and licking every drop before finding the part of her, I needed the most.

I made her come on my tongue the first time, drenched in her juices. She moaned and tried to squirm as I held her with my arms, finally screaming my name. I pulled away, breathing heavily as I gazed up at her.

The first time, I was inside of her sheathed in a condom. It was rough and hard, and I came harder than I ever had before. I dropped over her, finding her mouth as we both recovered. If that was how every wedding night was, I was all in.

The second time, we were making out and she was on top of me. I reached for another condom and rolled it on before she sank down over her. Her perfect curves and tits moved with her as I held onto her hips, taking it all in. Fuck, she was amazing. She came first and then I started moving inside of her, feeling her grip me.

I lost count of how many times we were together that night. She told me that she was safe and clean, and I told her the same thing but I still preferred condom. It was no lie since I was obsessively careful every time I slept with a woman, which had been tapering off over the last several months. I took her with her feet against my chest, sliding deep as she cried out my name, but the other times blurred together as exhaustion and alcohol combined. I just knew that each time was good.

  Chapter 3

  Liz

I ate the fresh fruit on the couch, sipping the juice gratefully. I was still wearing his shirt, that went down to my knees. I still had a pillow over my lap. I was accepting my choices from the night before as I reached for another piece of pineapple.

I got married in Vegas. To my crush of a few years.

I was sure it wasn’t the craziest story to begin in this city. Didn’t strangers do that all the time?

I looked at him as he talked to Linc on his phone near the window. He laughed about last night, and I looked down at the ring on my finger. This was insane.

I felt better after breakfast and a shower alone. I put my dress on from the night before, finding the ripped underwear before I tossed them into the trash. We planned to meet our friends for a late lunch, and I went along with it. Nothing could change the fact that we were married right now, and we could deal with it later. People got annulments after brief marriages, not divorces. I asked if we could stop by my room so I could change into something more appropriate and he agreed, following me inside.

“Karen really did stay with Kyle all night. The beds are still made.” I remarked, lifting my suitcase to the bed. I pulled out some jeans and a loose pink t-shirt, dressing in the bathrooms before I added a little makeup to my face.

  Did I look different married?

I slipped my feet into some sandals and looked at him. Calder was looking out of my window at the view of the buildings, still and quiet. I smiled before he turned to look back at me, smiling easily.

We went to the restaurant, seeing our friends in a large booth. Calder slid in beside Linc and patted the seat beside him and I blushed before taking it, leaning in to greet the girls. I ordered some tea to drink instead of a cocktail like my friends. The guys ordered beer and I smiled as they clinked their glasses together to the weekend.

When I got the girls alone, I pulled Karen against a wall. The guys were gambling so I knew they’d be busy for a while.

“What were you thinking last night encouraging this?” I asked her, holding up my left hand.

“That was cute. You guys looked great all night!” She insisted as I raised my brow.

“We got married!” I yelled as Amy walked over to us.

“That was crazy, Liz. I know it was, but I am so caught up in my own wedding. I see hearts everywhere I look.” She smiled gently. “I’ve known Calder for a while now and he’s happy when he’s with you. I have never seen him like that before.” She shrugged. “Maybe you’ll end it. Maybe you won’t. You both look happy when you’re together and you’ve had a crush for a while. Right?” I glared at Karen and she smiled ruefully.

“Yes.” I replied as the girls linked arms with me.

“How was the wedding night?” Karen asked as I groaned out loud.

“I drank a lot. I don’t remember. Do you have the wedding on your phone at least?” I asked as we made our way to some slot machines. We sat and Amy punched something up before giving me her phone. She was smiling and I glanced between them before watching the video. I did look happy and so did he. We held hands throughout the ceremony and smiled, giggling as we slipped the rings on. I threw myself at him for the kiss and it seemed to last forever before our friends cheering made us look over at them. “Wow.”

“See? You’re happy.” Karen told me as I handed Amy her phone. “It’s not traditional but we don’t have to tell your Dad.”

“Shit. Dad.” I muttered as I ran a hand through my loose hair. He lived in Seattle and we didn’t see him on a regular basis. He remarried two years after Mom died and they were living their lives.

“Don’t think about him. Let’s just have fun!” Karen urged me as she slipped a card into the machine. We gambled on the slots for a bit, sipping the drinks that the waitress brought us and laughing over everything the night before. Amy was going to stay in our suite tonight before the wedding since her pregnant maid of honor came down with the flu the previous week. We were going to watch movies and recreate a sleepover from when we were kids.

“Will Calder be okay with that? I know that you guys might want to stay the night together.” Amy told me as I rolled my eyes.

“Doesn’t he have plans with the guys?” I asked and Amy nodded.

  “Yes. They did.”
She confirmed and I shrugged. “We’re all going to have dinner together and then do our thing. Nobody is going to drink too much so we all enjoy tomorrow.” She smiled. “I can’t believe I’m getting married!”

I couldn’t believe that I did it first.

We made our way through a few of the casinos, gambling and winning a bit of money. We shopped at some of the boutiques and Karen and I bought dresses for the ceremony the following day. Amy asked us both to stand with her since her sister backed out and assured us the both guys were doing the same to match. I found it sweet that we’d only met her the night before and we fit so well together. She was hard not to like.

We met with the guys for dinner and I felt something inside as I saw Calder for the first time since this morning. He smiled at me and approached me, giving me a soft kiss as I smiled.

“Having fun?” He murmured and I nodded before kissing him again.

“You?” I asked and he stared at me for a moment.

“It’s nice to spend time with Linc. With school and his job, we don’t do this very often.” Sadness crossed his face. “I just wish our parents could be here.”

“They’re gone?” I asked and he nodded.

“Car accident the summer after high school.” I expressed my sympathy and he nodded as he squeezed my hand. “We both live in LA so there’s that.”

I stared at him for a moment. I shared an apartment with Karen and another roommate until I graduate this year. What would happen now? I brushed the thought aside, wondering if we’d be anything after this weekend. It might not matter where either of us lived.

We sat down at the table and ordered champagne to toast the following morning, promising to stop at that. Linc talked more about the ceremony and the few guests that would be there, mostly family and friends. Amy listened with a dreamy smile on her face and I watched them, wondering what it must be like to have something like this planned. Karen giggled as she snuggled against Kyle, eating her salmon slowly as she listened to Amy. Dinner lasted a couple of hours and we finally stood and prepared to say good night until the following afternoon.

We went to the honeymoon suite to get Amy’s stuff first, packing a small bag before taking a cab to our hotel. The guys were planning to stay there for the night. We piled into Karen’s room and got Amy’s stuff ready for the following morning. We dressed in pajamas and sipped soda as we found a movie on TV, sitting together on the bed.

I played back that night. Calder was attentive at dinner, holding my hand and kissing my cheek. He acted like a man who was happy, not someone forced into a marriage. He kissed me hard before we parted ways, telling me that he’d see me the following day at the altar. I left with a smile and found myself doing it again as Karen ordered snacks and drinks. Amy tied her blonde hair into a topknot and reached for a handful, her ring sparkling in the light from the entryway.

We stayed up, watching movies and snacking as we chatted. Calder came up again and both girls told me, how happy he looked with me. I just smiled. I wanted a night with him that I could remember after lusting after him for so long. We were all set to leave Tuesday since it was a school break so that gave us two more nights to see what this was.

The others fell asleep first and I smiled as I walked over to the other queen bed. I settled on it and stretched, reaching for my phone. I searched my contacts, realizing that I didn’t have Calder’s number. I didn’t have my husband’s number. I shook my head, hoping that he was having a good time but not too good of one. The guys didn’t seem the type to go to a strip club nor did Linc seem like he’d cheat on Amy. They were madly in love and happy but was I any of that with Calder? He might find someone else to have a good reason to end this before it even started outside of this city.

I finally fell asleep after considering this for a while. I wasn’t the kind of girl to sleep around casually at all, so I wouldn’t touch anyone else while I was still his. I didn’t want to before I knew how he felt when I was sober. I knew that I ached the morning after we got married since it had been a while for me. That was the proof that we had sex and it made me a little sad.

We woke up the following morning and after a text from Linc, there was a big breakfast feast delivered to our room. We ate and sipped one mimosa as Amy flowed over her day, looking beautiful. She was a natural beauty with her light hair and big blue eyes, making me hope that she didn’t wear too much makeup today. Once we were finished with the meal, we took turns showering before the team arrived to prepare us for the wedding. Amy told us that both guys had been left a generous trust fund between their grandparents and parents and Linc insisted on spoiling her today, allowing it to trickle down to us.

Five women knocked on the door a short while later and Amy let them in. They did hair at the same time while the remaining two offered their opinions when asked. They all seemed close. Amy had loose curls that flowed down her back that went perfect with the small tiara that held her light veil. Karen’s short red hair was curled to look like that of a flapper style and a pretty clip was placed on the right side that brought out the dark green of her short dress. I watched as Linna transformed my thick, wavy hair into a straight curtain, bringing out the natural highlights as I gasped. I never did my hair and it looked amazing.

Makeup was next. Amy did end up with darker eyes that made the blue pop and a nude lipstick. She had blush and a hint of highlighter on and looked amazing when she was done. Both Karen and I had dark lips and a lighter shadow, suiting us both. I also never wore this much makeup.

We dressed and the team took pictures of us, helping with the jewelry and accessories. They were good friends that started this business here in town and we promised them a good review before they left us.

We took one last look in the mirror before heading down to the lobby to head to the chapel. Amy’s parents were arriving this morning due to work and her father was going to walk her down the aisle. Everyone we passed stared at Amy like she was the first bride that they’d ever seen, and she blushed a deep pink.

When we made it to the chapel, Amy’s mom walked us into a small room and locked the door before hugging her daughter. “You look stunning!” Amy looked a lot like her mom, and I looked at Karen as she took my hand. We both lost our moms when we were still in high school, bringing us even closer. Carol King told us the guys were here and getting ready to take their places, crying again when she told Amy how happy Linc looked.

Carol slipped through the heavy metal and glass doors first so Linc could take her to her seat. I stood behind Karen and breathed in as the doors were opened and music began playing. She walked first and I gave her a moment before following her down the short, beautiful aisle. There were light pink and cream rose petals sprinkled about and Linc stood before a window -offering a view of the mountains. The blinds were closed enough to allow us to see and offer the view. I followed Karen to the left and we stood side-by-side as another song began.

Amy walked in with a handsome man that looked like he was already crying. Amy locked eyes with Linc and smiled, lost in him from that moment on.

I gazed at Calder while the bride and groom listened to the officiant. It was a simple ceremony and made me wonder if I enjoyed mine. It looked that way in the video, but I couldn’t remember. They spoke written vows and Calder smiled at me with a shrug as Linc poured his heart out, making Amy cry. She spoke and had the same effect on him before they were pronounced man and wife. Linc cupped her face with his hand and pressed his lips to hers, giving a thumbs up to the small crowd. I laughed with everyone and Calder reached for my hand as the couple separated, laughing together. We led the way out of the door, waiting for everyone else so we could congratulate Linc and Amy.

It was so similar to my night yet so different. These guests knew them as a couple that was forming a life together, not someone that just made out together. She was wearing a white dress and he a tuxedo with the other guys.

We took some pictures before going into the small reception
hall. We posed serious and silly, making faces when the woman suggested it. She got some of each of us and one where Calder was holding me in his arms as I smiled at him. He kissed me just after and held my hand as we walked in after the bride and groom. There was a table set up for the six of us and just a few for the other guests. It was beautiful with flowers on every table and windows offering the same view as the chapel. There was a buffet being set up in a small adjoining room that smelled amazing.

There was music just like any other reception. After we ate, people danced together and clapped as Linc led Amy to the floor. Calder pulled me into his arms during a slow song, wrapping them around my waist. I slid my arms around his neck, smiling into his eyes. “You look beautiful in that dress.” He murmured, making me blush. I knew that he got a good look down the front of the purple frock, seeing that I wasn’t wearing a bra.

“Thank you. We shopped a bit last minute since she didn’t ask until the last minute. I think it worked though.” I replied as I rested my head against his chest. “You look good in this. You’ve always looked good in anything you wore.” I breathed in, taking in his scent.

“So have you.” I frowned, not moving to look into his eyes. Did he even know that I existed with the other women I saw him all over school with? “I saw you, Liz. You stood out on campus with that intense look in your eyes and the smile that you only shared with close friends. I wanted to get to know you, but you kept to your circle. I never saw you at parties or anything and you always left class first.”

“Is that why you slept your way through half of the students?” I asked, feeling like a bitch the moment, the words were out of my mouth.

“Liz, that’s not fair. We didn’t know each other and a lot of that is just rumors,” he said in a dark voice, pointing out that I had no right to be jealous. “You were the only woman I saw here this weekend.”
