Reckoning: A Reverse Harem Tale (Mountain Magic Book 3)
Page 19
"Fuck," I groaned as my legs shook. I would have collapsed if the men weren't holding me up. My core tightened and I rocked between them, on the verge, almost scared Nikolai was going to leave me there.
Doc lowered his head to my neck, nipping just enough to barely draw blood, and hit me with his vampire power.
I lost all control of my legs and sagged between the two of them as my body shook with my powerful climax.
"Couldn't resist," Nikolai whispered as he put his hands under my arms and lifted me back to my feet.
I leaned against Doc's chest, Nikolai supporting me from behind while I recovered.
It took a few minutes before I could stand again.
"Ready?" Nikolai caressed between my legs from behind, rubbing my clit, my opening, moving further back.
I ached for him to fill me and whimpered when he didn't sink his fingers into me. Nikolai ignored my objection and ran his fingers around my ass. Definitely magical lube. Of course, he knew how to magic that, too. I almost laughed, but Doc distracted me, nipping along my throat, the points of his fangs pressing into my skin as he pulled my attention to him.
Needing something to do with my hands, I squeezed his firm ass, groaning as Nikolai pushed a finger into me.
"Okay?"
"Yeah," I replied breathlessly.
He pushed another into me, thrusting a few times with his fingers, bringing me whole new sensations of pleasure as I dug my hands into Doc's butt cheeks.
After a while, he pulled his fingers away and he pushed the head of his erection against me. "Yes?"
I nodded. "Yeah."
Doc lifted me so I was the right height and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He held me as Nikolai slowly pushed into me. I cried out in a mix of pleasure and surprise at the new sensations as Nikolai slowly stretched me.
"Just relax," Doc said softly. "I've got you." His strong hands never wavered, holding me tight as I shuddered against him.
I had to wonder, again, just how much Doc and Nikolai were into each other, because it sounded like he knew what he was talking about. The thought made me grin, though I didn't need to know details unless they shared with me. My imagination was enough, and I did relax as Nikolai finally buried himself in me.
"Keep going," I prompted when he hesitated. "It's good, just different."
The mage held my hips and slowly worked his way back out before thrusting in a little harder. I groaned. Yeah, this was definitely good. I knew my men would take care of me and I trusted them. So far they hadn't disappointed.
"Ready for Doc?" Nikolai asked once I was nice and loose in his hands.
I whimpered and nodded, not quite able to articulate how ready I was to have both of them filling me. I had never imagined anything like this.
Nikolai took over holding me, while Doc guided himself to my opening and carefully slid in. He groaned, not quite able speak either as I wrapped my legs back around him and held on as tightly as I could manage.
The two quickly worked out a rhythm, thrusting and withdrawing, bringing me to new heights of pleasure as they filled me more than I had ever thought possible. Our skin slid together, warm and slick under the perfect temperature of the water that caressed us.
"Fuck yeah," I gasped. The guys both moaned in response.
Before long we were all groaning, trying to draw out our pleasure as long as we could, but so close to coming that even Doc was shaking, though I had no fear he would drop me.
Heat pooled in my core and burst, making my entire body shake as my orgasm hit me harder even than the one Nikolai and Doc had given me not long before. I couldn't even cry out, just gasped. It was a good thing Doc held me because I lost all control of my body as I came undone. I clenched around Doc and he and Nikolai came together, thrusting hard into me, both crying out.
The held me like that for a moment, buried in me, holding me tightly. Nikolai pulled out of me first, then Doc. He set me down and we all sank to the floor of the shower, holding each other as our bodies recovered.
"Yeah," I said after a while. "We can definitely do that again."
"Good," Nikolai replied.
Doc chuckled.
Nikolai climbed to his feet and offered me a hand. I accepted, though I stumbled into his arms when my legs still refused to cooperate fully.
Nikolai laughed then hauled Doc to his feet.
"See, bigger showers are good." I winked at him and blushed at the hungry look he gave me.
"Yes, this will require much experimentation. Never done that in a shower before."
"Really?" I arched an eyebrow at him then glanced over at Doc, who also had his eyebrows arched.
"Um, well, no showers in the old days, and I meant with three." It was the mage's turn to blush.
Doc simply looked pleased.
Yep, they were definitely that into each other. It made me happy.
Nikolai grabbed the soap and he and Doc spent a great deal of time making sure I was completely clean before Nikolai and I washed Doc, and then the vampire and I turned our attention on the mage.
It was a good thing our shower was magic, or we would have run out of hot water long before we finally stepped out of the shower.
Chapter 17
Sofia
"Whatever you three were up to in the shower, I want to try that next time." Allan winked at me.
Blushing, I took the tea Ed offered me and sank into one of the chairs. Decadent languor settled in and I relaxed and enjoyed the attention as Ash brought me a plate and Allan put some juice on the table.
Ed, Ash, and Allan had already eaten so Nikolai and I stuffed our faces while Doc cleaned up the kitchen.
"Looks like we have a reasonably self-cleaning kitchen, too," Doc said after a minute. "Just need to put things away."
"Sweet." Ed hopped up to help.
Someone's phone buzzed and Doc grumbled and headed into the living area.
The werewolves perked up when Doc answered.
By their narrowed eyes, the news wasn't amazing, and anxiety destroyed my good mood. What now?
Doc came back in, jaw clenched.
"Do I even want to know?" I sighed.
"We knew that Melinda Anderson wasn't captured. Well, apparently she broke Alex and one other mage out of wherever Adriana and her people were holding them."
"Well, that's amazing." I sagged in the chair and stared at the ceiling. "One morning. Just one morning where things can be awesome, and nothing goes wrong right after."
No one laughed, and I could sense general agreement from all of them.
"So, what do we do?"
They all looked to Doc who shrugged. "I guess be ready. It would be dumb to assume that they're not coming after us."
"My parents are coming." I groaned.
"Hopefully, they'll need time to regroup." The flat tone Doc used told me he believed that about as much as I did.
"I could tell my parents not to come, I guess."
"It will be okay, Sofia." Nikolai patted my shoulder. "When do they arrive?"
"This weekend." Crap, I still needed to go Christmas shopping, too. "Assuming the roads clear."
"It won't snow for at least another week," Ash said. "Maybe more."
"Good and bad," Nikolai mused.
"We should warn them that the Andersons aren't as handled as we had hoped, but that things will probably be okay," Doc said.
"I'll text them." Easing out of the chair, I grinned at the light soreness in my muscles from this morning.
Wandering through our new cabin, I again marveled at what we had accomplished.
I had left my phone in the room I had claimed as my own. The light flashed at me and I checked my texts. Victoria wanted to know when I was coming down to shop and Mom checking in saying they thought roads would be clear by the time they needed to leave.
I sent a quick text back to Victoria.
Sofia: Do you mind if Mom joins us?
Victoria replied right away.
Victoria: No!
Sounds great.
Sofia: Cool. I'll check with her and get back to you.
Victoria: Sounds good. Sunday would be a good day for me. Or Monday.
I touched the screen and changed over to my mom's window. What to say?
Sofia: Hey, Mom. Want to go shopping with me and Victoria in Denver Sunday or Monday?
While I waited for her to reply, I curled up in the window seat and stared out my window. No cold leaked through the clear panes as I stared out at the snow covered pines that made up my view.
One of these days our little haven in the mountains truly would be secure. I had hoped we were already there, but we still had a little ways to go. Damn them, anyway.
My phone chimed.
Mom: That sounds wonderful, honey. If you don't mind me coming along.
Sofia: I don't mind. It will be fun.
Mom: Let's go Monday. Give us a day to settle in.
Sofia: Great. We rebuilt the cabin and in less good news, I guess we still have to deal with the Andersons. Should be safe on the property though.
Mom: We'll be careful, honey. Looking forward to seeing you.
Sofia: Love you.
Mom: Love you too.
I did a quick weather and road check on my phone. The roads were supposed to be snowy but drivable, and the next few days would be sunny and warm. By the time they arrived, the weather would be great. After informing Victoria of the plan, I put my phone down and went back to looking out the window.
Someone knocked quietly on my doorframe.
I patted the window seat in front of me and Ash came in and sat down.
He didn't speak, eyes roaming the view outside my window. His long platinum blond hair called to me. The silky strands flowed through my fingers when I touched them.
Ash breathed out quietly and I took that as a sign he liked the attention. We didn't speak, just hung out while I played with his hair.
"You really want me?"
Even with my demon enhanced hearing, he was difficult to hear.
"Yes, Ash. I do. We do." Leaning forward, I rested my forehead against his broad shoulders and tightened my arms around the demon. His silky hair tickled my face and heat from his body warmed me.
"Do you want us?"
"I do."
"Good."
His hand found mine and he held me against him.
We stayed like that until Ed found us. Ash straightened, though his hand remained over mine.
"We're picking out furniture. Do you two want to join us?" Ed bounced on his toes, eyes twinkling in excitement.
"Sure."
Ash squeezed my hand before releasing me. We stood and followed Ed into the living room.

It took a few days to get some of the new furniture for the cabin. Though we didn't expect to really need them often, one of the first things we did was buy beds for each of the rooms. We also got couches and a huge kitchen table.
We still weren't sure how the visit with my parents would go, but we didn't necessarily think they needed to know we all shared.
"It'll be okay, Sofia." Doc put his arms around me where I sat hunched up on the couch.
I leaned into my vampire and snuggled against his chest. My skin tingled when he slipped his hand under my shirt and rubbed small circles on my back with his cool hands. Fortunately, most of the side effects of really vamping out while fighting the Andersons had worn off and he no longer had any sunlight sensitivity. We were all relieved about that. Grumpy daytime vampire had gotten a little old.
"Mmmm," I mumbled happily.
His hand stilled.
"They here?"
"Someone driving a diesel is. Probably your folks."
Nikolai joined us a moment later, drying his hair with a towel. My eyes roamed his lean muscles, jeans riding low and revealing just enough to make me drool.
"Put a shirt on," I said reluctantly. "Too distracting otherwise."
Nikolai paused drying his hair, winked, and headed toward his room.
Doc sighed. By the time I glanced up at him, I couldn't tell if it was for the loss of eye candy, or because my parents were almost here.
I tangled my fingers in his long hair and pulled him in for a quick kiss. He devoured my lips, leaving me breathless when he released me.
Groaning, I pulled out of his embrace and got up, heading for the door so I could go meet Mom and Dad.
Cold air pricked at my cheeks as I stepped into the brisk afternoon. Dad's gaze shifted between Ash's Camaro and the newly built cabin, a frown creasing his brow. Mom saw me before she got to focused on anything else and came over to me, wrapping me in a hug.
"How are you?" Mom studied me closely before glancing at the cabin. "Impressive."
I grinned. "Magic. Come on, see the inside."
Ed and Allan looked out from the kitchen, where they were working on dinner for everyone, when we walked in.
Ash had perched himself in one of the window seats in the living room and looked like he might want to melt into the wall. Nikolai poked at a fresh fire in our fireplace and Doc had stood to greet my parents.
Mom liked all my guys. Nikolai, especially, had charmed her. Dad was tolerating everyone. Of course, neither of them knew for sure I was dating all of them. They might suspect. We hadn't exactly been careful at Thanksgiving, with everyone so happy to see me in one piece and alone in my own head.
Nikolai hugged Mom while Doc shook Dad's hand. Everyone else traded greetings before Mom noticed Ash hiding on the window seat. To his credit, he hadn't actually used magic to vanish.
"You're just surrounded by attractive men, Sofia. Who's your other friend?"
My eyes widened and Ash ducked his head, though I saw a hint of a smile tug at his lips.
"Mom, Dad, this is our friend Ash. He's staying with us for a while."
Ed and Allan disappeared back into the kitchen. I didn't blame them. I couldn't remember if I had mentioned Ash to my parents or not, but there was a good chance I had.
Mom's face twisted up as if she were trying to remember. "Ash? That sounds familiar. Have you mentioned him?"
"Um. I can't remember. Here, let me show you around the cabin." I grabbed her hand and began the tour.
Dad trailed along behind us.
"So, we haven't finished getting stuff for the cabin, and obviously we don't have any decorations or anything."
"You did this all with magic?" Dad asked after we ended up in the kitchen where Ed and Allan were almost done cooking. We sat around our large kitchen table.
"Yeah. Ash, Nikolai, and I, and, uh, Doc, built it." I'd almost forgotten to include Doc. We hadn't even made any of our stories overly complicated, and it was still hard to keep track of everything.
"Wait, Ash," Mom said, her eyes darting to the demon. "Doesn't he..."
"No." I cut her off. Obviously, I had mentioned him before. "He was under their control. He's free now."
"Oh." Mom eyed the demon. "Well, they sound like terrible people."
Ash nodded his agreement but remained silent.
"So, what now? They're still out there?" Mom wrapped her hands around a mug of tea that Doc slid in front of her.
Dad was a coffee drinker, but we didn't have any in the house since I still hadn't gotten over getting drugged with a latte.
Ash lifted a shoulder, staring at the table as he answered. "Melinda is powerful." His lips twisted when he said her name. "But Sofia is more than a match for her now. So is Nikolai. She has experience, but Nikolai can match that, and the demon left Sofia with a lot of knowledge. If Alex is working with her, that will give her a boost, but…" Ash shrugged again. "They don't have me anymore. I was the main reason no one would dare take them on before. They're probably out for revenge. We'll just have to fight them off for good this time."
"Oh." Mom's eyes scanned all of us. "I never really expected to have to deal with this world," Mom replied. "It's so different than what we're used to. I'm grateful Sofia has such capable help."
r /> Dad still didn't say anything, though his jaw was tight.
"Hope you're hungry." Allan broke the uncomfortable silence as he brought plates over.
Nikolai helped him set the table. I watched the mage, marveling at how readily he had settled into our life. Though I was sure it was vastly different than palace life with servants and all that went with it, he had taken to our ways. Of course, we had adapted to some of his also. We were all much more open about using our abilities, at least when safe to do so.
"So, Nikolai, how are you settling in to modern times?" Mom turned her attention to the mage just as he casually brushed his hand across Doc's shoulder. Doc absently put his hand on top of the mage's for a moment. It was an everyday action for them, but I wasn't sure Mom had ever seen it before. Her eyes widened and she glanced at me.
I was currently sitting between Ed and Allan. Maybe I should have taken the spot next to Doc. Maybe I should just tell them and hope Mom and Dad didn't freak out too much.
"It is good. Not even sure I miss home." His eyes danced with mischief as his gaze settled on me.
I grinned back.
"Well, I'm glad to hear that. Ash, what are you going to do now?"
The demon shrugged. "Get used to freedom, I guess. They're letting me stay here as long as I need to. I really don't know."
She looked back at me, head tilted slightly before she shrugged. "I suppose I'm glad my daughter is surrounded by powerful mages and, uh, werewolves, to keep her safe."
The oven dinged, saving us from the rest of that awkward conversation. Doc and Ash brought over the baked pasta and garlic bread.
"And good cooks, too," Mom said as she tasted the pasta. "Sofia can cook, you know."
"She does every once in a while, but we like to cook more than she does," Ed replied. "And we're better at it."
I laughed.
Another awkward silence fell and I filled it by eating.
"So, how's the hunting up here?" Dad finally broke the silence.
We all traded amused glances. The memory of hot, fresh meat wasn't nearly as disturbing as I had thought it might be, even while eating. The memory of the wind in my fur and the ground under my paws as I raced after the deer we had taken down recently tugged at me.
