  “I’m so glad he came back and we got the chance to tell each other how we felt one last time” Arty says as she finishes her quiet sobbing and wipes away her tears.

  I nod and give Arty another hug.

  “Do you think he was serious about me going to Alaska?” I ask.

  “Without any shadow of doubt, Angel” Arty replies. “We’ve just seen the evil forces that are plotting to kill everyone on this planet. We must find Blaise. The future of the world depends upon it.”

  “How am I expected to be able to find some guy I’ve never met before who is living somewhere on a massive mountain? I’ve never even been to America before and now I’m going to have to fly to Alaska on my own” I say as the reality of the situation hits home.

  “You won’t be on your own Angel” Arty says as she gives me a hug. “I’m coming with you.”
