Love after Betrayal: An Interracial, Billionaire Romance

Bria rode the wave of pain until it landed in the sea of pleasure. As he drove into her again and again, she felt as if a dam was about to burst, ripping her wide open, physically and emotionally.
"So sweet. So tight. I'll never get tired of fucking you Bria. Never," he said, grabbing her hip bones and driving into her again.
Bria closed her eyes and let the sensations wash over her, giving in to the bliss of this perfect stranger sucking her into the most intimate vortex two people could possibly inhabit. It went beyond simple sexual pleasure into a space she dare not question because she had no answers, and wasn't sure if she wanted any. Waves of pleasure crashed over her as he plunged deeper, his lips devouring every bit of her exposed skin he could get his mouth on.
Bria felt the shimmering waves of pleasure from the pit of her stomach all the way down to the center of her toes.
"You are better than the fantasy I've had since I laid eyes on you," he moaned in her ear as he slammed into her again. "I love how tight and wet your pussy is."
Bria smiled at the language of passion, gratified that his pleasure matched hers. Oh, this is just what she needed. Yes God, this is just what she needed, she thought as she wrapped her legs around his waist, begging him to go deeper. She moaned loud and long as Carrington's strokes came harder and faster.
"Yes! Oh yes!" she cried, her fingernails embedding tracks of their shared passion into his back. He had one hand on her thigh. The other gripped one breast, giving her twin peaks of pain and pleasure that she had never experienced before.
"That's it baby," he growled. "Take it. Take it all," he said, his mouth closing fiercely over one breast as he plunged in again.
"Yes! Yes," Bria screamed, her cries strangled. "Please don't stop. Oh god please don't stop," she begged as her climax roared inside of her. She arched her back, chasing the apex that remained just within reach. She was so close.
Carrington stopped.
Bria cried out. Her eyes wild; her breath ragged.
He smiled, smacked her damp ass, and tossed her onto her stomach as if she weighed no more than a rag doll. Grabbing a pillow, he shoved it under her stomach.
Bria barely had time to adjust to the new position before he was slamming into her from behind, his strokes hard, fast and commanding. She buried her face in the softness of the bed, her fingers gripping the sheets hard as he held onto her sides, plunging into her sleek depth over and over again. New blasts of mind-blowing pleasure careened through her.
With each pump, Carrington held onto her sides tighter, gripping her as he plowed powerful stroke after powerful stroke into her re-awakened womanhood. And she couldn't get enough.
Fuck, she couldn't even think. "Oh God. Oh God!" she screamed into the bed as a roller coaster of pleasure lifted her high, then roared down to the valley of orgasm. Bria had never come so hard in her life. What was that?! How was that possible after the other two? She didn't know how to take it all in. She held her breath and squeezed her eyes shut as he growled and collapsed onto her back.
"God damn woman," he breathed as he slowly pulled out of her and slid her down beside him. He pulled her close so that her back was pressed into his chest. He grabbed her breasts and pinched her nipples.
The entire bottom half of Bria was shaking. She realized that she was still climaxing. Her moans had turned to soft purrs as her walls continued to clench in pleasure. Tight. Loose. Tight. Loose.
Carrington turned her to him and pressed his lips to hers.
"My turn," he said with a smile, his eyes dark and wild.
"What?" Bria said.
"This," he said, pulling her on top of him. She was soaking wet and his cock slid inside, nestling in what felt like home far too easily.
"I thought you ..." Bria started.
Carrington's answer was a devilish smile as a wet, squishing sound filled the room.
"Ladies first ... and second and third," he said, his forest-green eyes darkening as passion began to overtake him again.
Bria leaned over him, her full breasts bouncing in his face as her ass bounced up and down on top of him.
His mesmerizing eyes closed, the lashes fanning onto his smooth cheeks. She watched him bite his bottom lip; the beauty of him literally taking her breath away as his huge cock pierced her again and again.
His hands were at her hips, guiding her at the pace he wanted. Her back arched as she sex-twerked on him.
"Damn you know how to fuck! Keep doing that baby. Just like that," he groaned digging his fingers into the slick skin at her hips. His body was still and tense. She could see the veins bulging at his neck, as he slammed into her harder. Seconds later, he grunted loudly as his warmth shot into her.
Bria leaned back until his lean hips finished pounding into her. She could feel his cock pulsing inside her as she leaned back up and looked into his sated, handsome face. With a smile, she collapsed on top of his chest, her full breast sensitive to the mat of hair on his chest.
He stroked the dampness of her smooth back. "What did you just do to me woman?"
"The same thing you just did to me mister," Bria answered.
She could feel his stomach muscles contract as he chuckled.
They looked at each other, one pulling a smile from the other.
"I have no words," he said, as he pulled her head onto his chest.
"I'm pretty speechless myself," Bria concurred. "And we should probably be ashamed of that," she teased, "since we are trained to talk for a living."
Carrington couldn't help but laugh out loud at that.
Bria could hear his heart thumping in her ear.
"I knew it would be good, but you surprise me Beautiful Bria."
"Why?" Bria asked, looking up at him. "And why do you keep calling me that?"
"Because you are beautiful, and it rolls off the tongue so easily. Beautiful Bria; I shall always think of you that way. You look so sweet; an innocent. No one would ever guess the depths of passion in you."
"Sweet and innocent aren't synonyms for dull and boring. Everyone has passion."
"You really believe that," he said, stroking her now totally loose hair as he looked down at her.
"Yes. It just takes the right person to bring it out."
"You don't say," Carrington said, as he began to flick at one of her exposed nipples.
Bria swatted at his hand. "I'm an innocent, remember?" she smiled.
"Hmm, then I guess I need more innocents in my life," he laughed.
"For sure. As you just found out, you don't know what you've been missing," Bria teased, as she continued to swat at his hand.
"Oh, but I do now. I definitely do now," he said, and swooped up to take a swollen peak in his mouth.
Bria squealed in delight, digging her fingers into the thick labyrinth of his hair as she gave into the sensations overtaking her all over again.
"WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?"
"Isn't the female supposed to ask that question in situations like this?" Bria teased as her head rested on his chest after another mind-blowing orgasm. Her whole body felt like a wet noodle. She couldn't lift a limb right now if her life depended on it.
"Is that a rule? I'm not exactly known to be a rule follower."
"I think you already warned me about that," Bria said.
Carrington chuckled. "So what are you thinking?"
"Nothing momentous at the moment. I'm just relaxed. I haven't been this relaxed in a long time."
"Good sex will do that for you."
"Speaking from experience?" Bria asked, a tightening in her stomach signaling that his response mattered. She wondered how often he did something like this. He was wealthy and handsome: two traits that ensured he could have as many women as he wanted, as often as he wanted. How often did he partake?
"Yes," he said without hesitation. "It's one of the most natural releases for the body."
Bria went quiet, not sure how to respond. She was new to this ‘casual fling' thing. All the things she wanted to talk
about now seemed way too personal. Already, she wanted to know much more about him than she should want to know, she warned herself.
"You know what else is a natural release for the body?" she murmured as her eyelids drooped. "Sleep."
"I agree, mon cherie," he whispered, dropping a kiss on top of her head as he settled into a comfortable position. He reached over and turned off the bedside lamp, plunging the room into darkness.
The last thing Bria remembered were his arms tightening around her and the smell of his breath as he released a long sigh.
A smile curved her lips as the bliss of contented slumber claimed her.
Chapter 19
"I'M GOING TO DO A LITTLE shopping. I'll be back around two, Tabby," Bria said to her assistant.
"Ok, Ms. Michaels," Tabby said, a professional, but all-knowing smile, glued to her lips. In the four years Tabby had worked for her, she'd never heard Bria say such a thing. Anyone who knew her knew that she hated to shop. But she wanted new lingerie.
After almost twenty years with one man – twelve of those married – she didn't realize how sparse her lingerie drawer was. She had more granny panties than silk ones, and outside of a few thin-strapped nightgowns, there was nothing even remotely sexy in her underwear drawer. Although whatever she had on never lasted long with Carrington, she did feel the need to sex it up, especially as she they were seeing each other regularly now.
And tonight was no different.
Chapter 20
"YOU'RE LATE," CARRINGTON said, as she stepped off the elevator into his penthouse suite.
"Because I decided to stop by the grocery store. I know we were supposed to go out tonight, but I thought it'd be a nice departure from the usual to surprise you and cook dinner here – if that's okay," she said.
"If that's ok?" he asked, raising an eyebrow and reaching for the bags she carried. "Any man would be a fool to turn down a home-cooked meal. Please work your magic. I'll even help, as long as it's limited to getting crockery and setting the table. I'm afraid I'm quite useless in the kitchen."
"I kinda figured that by the number of restaurants I've been to since we started hanging out," Bria laughed. "I feel like I've eaten in every joint from Little Italy to Harlem."
"THAT WAS DELICIOUS," Carrington said, polishing off the last of the chicken cacciatore. "And it happens to be my favorite."
"Hmmm, a little birdie told me."
"And you listened to the little birdie. Thank you Beautiful Bria. Your culinary skills almost match your beauty."
"Almost?"
"Nothing could be as divine as you. Not even your heavenly chicken cacciatore."
"Sweet talker," Bria smiled and blushed. "And now, for dessert," she said, getting up to go slice the Mrs. Smith peach pie she'd taken from the oven fifteen minutes ago. "It's not my recipe, obviously, but Mrs. Smith's pies come as close to homemade as you can get."
"I have dessert covered," Carrington said, standing up.
"Oh. You don't like peach pie?" Bria asked.
"I like it well enough; it's just that there's something else I prefer more," he said.
"Ok. Your choice it is. Can I do anything to help?"
"Oh you most certainly can," Carrington said, the sudden heat in his gaze cluing Bria in as to exactly what he wanted for dessert.
BRIA ROLLED OVER, BREATHING heavily. Her naked chest was slick with sweat. She curled into the sheets and sunk deeper into the pillow.
"Did you enjoy dessert?" he asked as he turned to her, trying just as hard to catch his breath. He combed his hair out of his eyes.
Damn, he was sexy. The way his curls kept falling back in his face; the way his eyes shone with sated passion; the way his lips parted as he breathed deeply in and out, the same lips that had just been all over her. "I don't think Mrs. Smith's pie quite lives up to your dessert," Bria smiled.
He chuckled. "Now that the best dessert has been consumed, I could give Mrs. Smith a try," he said, getting out of bed. "Can I bring you a slice?"
"If you don't, you won't be allowed back in this bed," Bria giggled.
She watched him slide into a pair of sweat pants he grabbed from the bedroom closet.
"Don't go anywhere," he said, smiling at her as she sat propped herself against the pillows, her mass of hair forming what looked like a halo around her head. "You really are breathtaking Bria," he observed, his gaze lingering a second before turning to go to the kitchen.
Bria smiled and sighed deeply. These last almost four weeks had been heaven for her. She couldn't remember the last time she felt so content. When she was with Carrington, she didn't remember Gunner's name. She felt like she had been one person with Gunner, and she was a completely different one with Carrington.
With Gunner, she was the dutiful, loyal wife who was also a career woman. Her path was set; a life of lists that consisted of checking off boxes. And she had loved checking off those boxes of dreams with him.
With Carrington, she was the seductress with limitless possibilities – especially with a drawer full of new, daring lingerie. Crotch-less panties. Yes, she'd bought crotch-less panties. And the way Carrington had devoured her through them, the seventy-five dollars she's spent on each pair made them worth every cent. She couldn't wait to wear the other four. She could feel herself blushing at the mere thought of the way he consumed her.
With Carrington, there was a freedom in just being. There were no boxes to be checked off, because they had never made a list together. He made her forget labels and lists and boxes. Most of all, he made her forget her pain and bitterness and loneliness, breathing a fire into her that she was starting to crave more and more. Every time they were together, it was harder for her to leave.
But, he'd made it clear that he wasn't looking for a relationship. "I'm extremely busy, so I like to keep things simple," he'd actually said to her once.
ONE WEEK AGO
"But you're forty-two. Do you ever plan on settling down?" Bria asked, hating herself for asking the moment the question left her mouth. They were casual. Keep it casual Bria, she reminded herself.
"My goal is to enjoy life. And I do that to the best of my ability. If I'm supposed to settle down, then that will happen. Although the older I get, the less likely it seems. I'm rather comfortable with the life I have, so it's not something I spend time thinking about."
"And it's that simple?" Bria marveled, wondering if it really could be that simple.
"Yes, if you want it to be," he said, reading her mind. "But I'm not naive. I realize this way of thinking is a luxury. I'm a man. I have means."
"And handsome. Don't forget to complete the trifecta," Bria laughed.
Carrington smiled. "That's a matter of opinion, but not as important as the other two, believe me," he said.
"True, very true," Bria agreed. "And you were saying?"
"The point of my diatribe is that who I happen to be unbinds me from many of the expectations of society, like getting married at a certain age and having children. I can have children until the day I die. And as a man of means, I can select practically any partner I want of practically any age," he noted without a shred of pontification.
Bria marveled at the inner workings of his mind. Nothing that he'd said was groundbreaking, but it was refreshing, for lack of a better word. She realized it was refreshing because he didn't hide behind, take advantage of, or feel guilty about who and what he was.
Just like Gunner, she remembered, and immediately buried the thought, forcing her attention back to Carrington.
"All of that is true – and it seems so unfair," Bria grumbled.
"But it's a fact of life, I'm afraid. As I'm sure you know, almost nothing in life is fair."
"You didn't make the rules – and don't take this the wrong way – but you seem to be at ease playing by them," Bria pointed out.
"I think I told you the first night we met that I'm not exactly known for playing by the rules. But for the ones that benefit me, yes, I have no problem playing by them."
"How do you square that – being that you're so enlightened?" Bria asked seriously.
Carrington raised an eyebrow, noting her tension. He put his fork down and looked directly into her eyes. "If something you have no control over – nature, your birth status, your gender – gives you a leg up, you'd be a fool not to take advantage. I can't help that I was born a man any more than you can help that you were born a woman. As for how I ‘square it,' I do it by using my gifts from the universe, if you will, to make things better for those who aren't as lucky as I happen to be. It's one of the reasons I started my headhunting firm. SLAW didn't – still doesn't – have the diversity I think it should have, no matter how many headhunting firms we have used and how many times my father directed that it become a priority. So—"
"You decided to take matters into your own hands," Bria interjected.
"Yes. If something is not getting done the way you want, then the onus is upon you to do something about it, especially when you have the tools to do so. Besides, I was bored as an attorney. This fulfills me. I know it's what I'm supposed to be doing."
"Are you always so practical?" Bria asked.
"I try to be. You don't get many wins in life, so I take them where I can get them. And to my way of thinking, that's all practicality is," he said.
Bria's head was spinning in confusion and admiration. He was so transparently cavalier about so much. Was he real?
Born wealthy. Not his fault.
Born a male. A call of nature.
Born with make-your-heart-cry good looks. Luck from his parents.
All so easy.
All so accepted.
All so damn....irresistible, she thought.
"How did you get to be so enlightened? A man in your position, you don't have to think about any of this stuff: diversity, having children, getting married, legacy. Yet, you seem to have given it a lot of thought.”
"I have a daughter, remember? If it concerns her, it concerns me. Even though she was born with the proverbial silver spoon in her mouth, she's still a woman in a society that very much favors the male species, specifically the wealthy male species."
