For Everly: A Xeno Sapiens Novel (Genetically Altered Humans Book 8)

She was already sopping wet for him.
She wrapped her legs around his hips as his tongue danced with hers. Slowly he pushed his way into her until he was embedded deeply, and then he began to rotate his pelvis, bringing her to heights she had previously only imagined.
There it was—his top cock knotting itself to rub against her already swollen G-spot as his bottom cock continued plunging into her. And then everything spiraled out of control as she came—right there on the beach, her cries echoed by the squawk of birds that flew from the trees.
Chapter Fifteen
One month later:
Everly woke in the middle of the night, gasping. She was soaked with sweat, her nightgown clinging to her fevered skin.
Her heart beat against the inside of her chest like a trapped bird, fighting to get out even though it was feathers beating against bone.
“Everly?” Thane asked, groggy with sleep. “Baby, what’s going on?”
“Something’s wrong,” she gasped, jumping out of bed.
She raced through the apartment, flinging open the front door and heading into the rarely used sonic chamber. She flung open the main door, rushing through the outer door to get to the apartment next door where Angela lived. She slapped her hand against door pad, and the door swooshed open.
Angela’s apartment was eerily silent. Cold, sterile. She knew without a doubt it was her other sense taking over just as when she became aware—without looking—that Thane stepped in behind her.
“She’s not here,” she said flatly.
He knew. She felt that just as sure as she was that Angela was gone.
“She knew they wouldn’t leave you in peace unless they thought they had you. She was determined to pretend to be you, let them run their tests and find no abilities. Then, she’d break away and you could live here, safe. She swore she’d return.”
“That’s a stupid plan,” Everly growled, as her eyes filled with tears. “I was already safe.”
“Only within the walls. Angela knew you’d miss visiting the children outside the compound. Now, after she escapes, they’ll leave you alone, assuming that there was no ‘extra’ ability created by your father.”
“They’ll kill her rather than let her escape.”
“They think she’s you. She assured us she’ll hardly be locked up, and with her assassin skills, she’ll be free in no time. Once she allows them to test her.”
“That was why she let her hair grow longer. Lightening it. Why she was tanning? She was mimicking me.”
He nodded, uncomfortable.
“Who else knew?”
“Robyn.”
“Why would she agree to this?”
A voice from the entrance of the apartment showed a bleared-eyed Robyn—an infant at her hip. Everly was too numb to feel much amazement at the fact that the rumors of half-bred children were true.
“I had no choice. Crested Ute was about to release your felony record to the public. A subpoena was filed ordering me to disclose your whereabouts under the claim that there was a glitch in the system allowing you an early release. I couldn’t fix this—not with so many eyes on me as the creator of the judgment and rehabilitation program. You would have been either remanded back to prison where you would ‘disappear’ into the night, or you would have disappeared when you were ordered to court to sort out the reasoning why you were released after serving only seven years for murder.”
“Because I was accepted into the rehabilitation program!” Everly snapped.
“The program is newly created—by me—and you flew through it with flying colors. No one has ever done as well as you. For that reason alone, they’ll claim some sort of glitch in the system. I’m sorry. I had nothing left to help you with when Angela came to me with her proposal.”
“Robyn. Code 612.” The computerized voice came from the house-computer.
“Zealish is awake,” Robyn said. “That is the second part of my plan.” She shifted her son to her other hip as she hurried from the room, leaving Everly and Thane to follow.
Zealish was staring out the window when they arrived. He was seated in the bed, Amanda standing next to him with the scanner reading his vitals. Everly was surprised at the change in him. His body was much smaller than it had been when he was in his other form though he was still a large man. But that was the difference.
He was a man.
“Zee,” Robyn said softly. “How do you feel?”
“Back to normal. It’s like I’d been dreaming for a month, and now I’m awake.” His eyes flicked to Everly and he dismissed her with a glance back at Robyn.
“What have I missed?”
“This is Everly, Thane’s mate. While you were sleeping, you thought you’d claim her as your mate. You attacked Thane.”
“So I wasn’t dreaming.”
“No, it was real.”
“I’m sorry, man.”
Thane acknowledged with a nod of his head.
“Then when Everly came to me later and stayed in my den, that part was a dream?”
“Not exactly. It turns out that Everly has a twin who’d come searching for her and found your electrical pen instead.”
“Where is she?” he growled, looking at Everly.
“She’s not here,” she said softly.
Robyn spoke up. “Angela, Everly’s twin, has been compromised. She left for the outside, pretending to be Everly. She wants us to give her a few weeks, and if she’s not back, we’ll go out for a hard rescue.”
“What aren’t you telling me?” he asked shrewdly.
Robyn’s baby held his arms out for Zee. Without blinking, Zealish reached for the baby, bringing him to his lap. The baby curled up against him, turning his head back to peer at Everly.
He had the oddest—aware—expression. As if he deliberately consoled Zee with his presence.
Zee’s large hand stroked his small back.
“The part I neglected to mention is that you and Angela have been legally mated on paper so she could remain in Xenia. Now that you’re awake, you have the option to annul it, of course. It was simply a matter of convenience at the time.”
“And why would I annul it?” Zealish drawled. “In fact, the plan’s changed. I’m not waiting a few weeks to retrieve my mate.”
Robyn looked wary. “She doesn’t really know you…”
“Doesn’t she?”
“She saw you in your other form…”
“And yet she agreed to be mated to me.”
“In name only.”
He shrugged. “Be careful what you wish for.”
“I’m sure she can extricate herself from Crested Ute on her own.” Robyn crossed her arms.
To everyone’s surprise, the baby shook his head vehemently.
“What do you know, little one?” Zee asked, holding out his hand.
The small, silver-skinned baby clutched his finger and then held out his other hand…to Everly. Like Zee had, Everly held out a finger, which the baby clutched. She gasped. Images began to flash in her mind, and she had to close her eyes at the onslaught.
Angela—in chains. Angela—cold and blue, sluggish with the chill in the room. Unable to get free because she was drugged.
But how could that be? Angela had just left, hadn’t she? She wrenched her eyes open to find the baby looking at her.
Zee opened his eyes also, the connection broken.
“It hasn’t come to pass yet,” he said. “Kaden can see ahead. But that scene is coming.”
“What’s going on?” Robyn asked.
“She can’t escape,” Everly said. “She’s chained and drugged. And cold. So very cold. It keeps her sluggish. Unable to think. Unable to move.”
Zee turned his head to stare at Robyn. “I need to be cleared from medical so I can retrieve my mate. Because, Robyn, I have no intention of annulling it.”
Epilogue
Angela:
“Good morning, Everly. I hope you don’t mind the chains and the extreme tempe
rature. We’re keeping it colder in here to make it a bit more difficult for you to use any mental pushes in our direction.”
Angela lifted a groggy head, but it flopped back down to her chest. Her naked chest. Why was she naked? Why were they calling her Everly?
Everly was dead.
Wasn’t she?
Her memories hit with a vengeance. No, she’d found Everly. Everly was safe within the walls of Xenia. She was pretending to be her sister.
“I don’t have…”
“Of course, you don’t,” the voice said, softly mocking. Angela forced her head up enough to see the woman watching a video playing across the bare wall.
The scene where Everly had killed their father.
He’d had cameras in his laboratory. How had they never known? They’d been so stupid, so naïve.
On screen, she lay unconscious, filled with drugs while Everly made things move with her mind. Her power was incredible; objects as large as metal tables floated easily in the air.
But the reason why Crested Ute was enthralled with them became obvious. Their father lay on the ground, slaughtered, his reproductive organs destroyed. Subconsciously, Everly didn’t want him to create any more children. They were it. And Crested Ute was going to utilize them as much as they could.
And now, Crested Ute was going to use every “trigger” imaginable to get Everly to expend those psychic powers again. This time, she knew the trigger.
“Any word on the sister’s location?” The voice in the background was deep and smooth. Lulling. But Angela fought with herself to stay awake.
“Last trace showed that she was heading toward Xenia to find her sister.”
“So she should be among the homeless camps. Find her and bring her here. If Everly wants to save Angela again, we’ll have to recreate the scene. Except this time, we’ve got you drugged and sluggish, my little telekinetic doll.”
The round face that peered down at her was white, his eyelids so pink he looked slightly piggish.
“Go to sleep, Everly.” He smiled. “We’ll find Angela and bring her to you. And once we have you both together? We’ll see which one lives.”

Abducted
Book 1 in the Blue Barbarian series.
Alien abductions are real.
I was the third female awakened aboard the spacecraft that specialized in kidnapping females. Their mission? To sell us to other galaxies.
Human female Numbers One and Two didn’t make it, but I was lucky. I was able to comprehend the instruction from Drakar, a caged abductee from the planet Blaedonia. I live only because of his warning to me not to fight the aliens who have me on the table. Together, we formulate a plan for escape for both us and the ten other unawakened Earthlings.
Lucky for Drakar, the spaceship crash-lands back on his planet. Unlucky for the Earthlings, we’ll never be able to travel back home.
We’ll have to learn to adapt.

An antiquated ship, rotating through the galaxy of a deserted planet, bears immediate investigation.
Helian Six boards the abandoned vessel to find the long-lost inhabitants in a state of stasis. But the systems are failing, and half a dozen have woken up. The planet below shows long dead bodies, poisoned by the scum of space, a species known as Gorgians.
Strangely, the few who have awakened are much smaller than their planetary predecessors. And not very intelligent. Determined to believe the cute, tiny beings are not pets, the crew of Helian Six decide to train the small warriors to defend the planet. They become the laughingstock of patrol, however, after they commit and realize it will take twenty-two cycles to “rear” the inhabitants.
So they do what any intelligent males would do. Kidnap teachers. And if the females can’t manage to avert their eyes from their buff physiques, well, score!
Artificial Intelligence
Rena Marks
The Sirian galaxy has blown itself up during a war that mimicked that of the destruction of her own planet, Terra. No stranger to slavery, Arian has escaped from the planet Zeta where she’s been raised to breed royalty.
The Artificial Intelligence is a collective unit from the Sirian Planet B. They’d warned the leaders that a civil war would destroy the galaxy to no avail. In order to escape being destroyed along with the rest, they inserted their intelligence into the computer system.
Imagine Arian’s surprise when she encounters a huge piece of chipped planet, which her computer claims to have ancient Sirian artifacts buried in its hollowed core.
Nothing can possibly be alive. The contamination gases from the nuclear war have destroyed everything in sight. But Arian is a scavenger, and these are ancient artifacts…
Unfortunately, her hacked computer never tells her the artifacts are actually metal skeletons whose bodies need to be grown into dangerously hot men.
Stargazer Series
In 1692, a starship carrying volunteers arrived on planet Earth near a small town called Salem, Massachusetts. The long journey across many light years caused the female inhabitants aboard drastic memory loss. It was already known when they would arrive on Earth, they would have no memories of who and what they really were. They would be as helpless as newborn lambs.
The goal was to breed with Earthlings, to prevent their own race from dying out. If it was successful, years later more Stargazers would be sent to co-exist with the humans on Planet Earth.
But alas—the femal
es were slaughtered.

Prologue:
The atmosphere in the grand council meeting was tense, grim even. In the center of the room, laser lights of green and blue flashed, drawing attention to the enlarged hologram of the speaker. Around the hologram stood dozens of females. They were dressed in odd clothing, obviously not from this world. The fabric looked coarse, and the garments were crudely designed. They consisted of shapeless cumbersome gowns. Some of the women even wore strange head coverings.
And then the voice boomed.
“We are gathered here to review the report on the future of our race. I am Nepa, and I am your general speaker.”
He paused, allowing the audience time to adjust to the beginning of his speech. The pause wasn't necessary, however, as the entire planet was riveted to this life-altering event.
“As you are all aware, we have spent decades on one ongoing problem. Our females are slowly becoming infertile. At this point, there is a huge imbalance on our planet, with males outnumbering females six to one. With all of our advanced technology, we cannot figure out why. The dilemma of the council consists of reaching out to inhabitable planets to decide if we can co-exist with other species. To interbreed. It is a dilemma because those planets are not as technologically advanced as we are, most are not even aware other space inhabitants exist. Their ignorance may cause fear. What we can offer to those planets is a solution to their own in-breeding, and to share knowledge of future ramifications. As we have discovered, eventually the gene pool narrows so dramatically that every culture faces the same problem we have, the phasing out of a species. We offer this benefit to smaller planets, the knowledge of our experience without having to find out the hard way, as we did.
