I grin in victory. “Can you say it’s the best sweet thing you’ve ever had?”

“No,” he answers immediately, shaking his head. As I tilt my lips down, he kisses my mouth. “You are the sweetest thing I’ve ever tasted. And I doubt that will ever change.”

  ZACH

  ONE YEAR LATER

“Baby, you shouldn’t be putting so much effort into this.” I groan, scratching my beard.

Sienna grins up at me, batting her lashes innocently. She would have been the image of angelical perfection if her ass wasn’t high up in the air as she picks something from the last drawer.

I stride to her and pick the tool she was trying to reach. With a kiss to the top of her head, I let her pluck it from my fingers.

“Zach, how am I supposed to call you every time I need to grab something?”

She sighs, turning back to her newest invention — some kind of pie. A small one. I don’t know how people enjoy such small things.

But she puts all her attention to details. They’re lovely, like everything else she does.

“You can call me whatever you want, muffin. Man, Zach, husband. Just don’t exhaust yourself. Why are you baking these many pies? I thought we had delivered them all in the morning.”

I had had little patience to claim her as mine. All those months ago, Sienna drove back into town with me. I rented a place for the two of us, near her college, and I would spend my time reading as she studied.

I started to read about finances and marketing to help her with the soon-to-be bakery. She cooked while we made plans.

  The apartment always smelled divine.

After she graduated, we planned to open an online bakery. People would order through a website and Sienna would cook and we would deliver.

This way, it didn’t matter if we were in town or the mountains, she could do her thing. We did the deliveries together, but clients weren’t very keen on seeing a man my size delivering cakes. I wasn’t about to let her do it by herself, so we outsourced that.

She was supposed to be done with the baking for the week. We are going to have some months off now that she’s approaching labor.

Her round, heavy belly is a sight for sore eyes. To see her round with my baby, her breasts huge… I’ve been sporting a painful hard-on for months now, basically 24/7.

Sienna straightens, smiling softly. “Alright, husband. I’ll call you next time.”

She turns, swaying her delicious ass to the counter.

“What are you doing there, muffin? You’re supposed to be resting.” I rut against her backside, and she answers rolling her hips back.

“I am resting. You can’t judge me for cooking for my family.” She turns and I capture her lips with my own.

  “Pies?”

She mutters an agreement. “Sour apples. Laura was right that time with the cake.” I smile, remembering the time my daughter sent me a freaking cake. In the end, she had trusted Sienna’s skills. And she had been right. “The secret is to make it not too sweet. I’m trying something new for my sugar-hating husband.”

I laugh, grabbing her ass fully between my hands. “Not ‘sugar-hating’. There are some sweets I enjoy. I even have a favorite sweet.”

“Hm?” She hums, rolling her hips against my hands. “And what is it?”

I bring my hand back and spank her plump bottom. She squeals then moans, her eyes shifting with lust.

  “You. You, muffin.”
