The Everly Davis chronicles

PARKING THE CAR, WE make our way to the spot I picked out. To get there, we have to climb down a hill, then cross a small bridge and jump down onto the rocks. My summer dress isn't exactly ideal for this, but my pants are starting to get too tight around my waist on account of the terrible bloat I've got.

"Down there?" Leyland asks as we stand at the top of the bluff looking down. He shoots me a worried look. I send a small prayer to whatever god might be listening.

"Please, don't let these guys go crazy protective now that they know I'm pregnant!" I've known for weeks that I am pregnant, and in that time my body has been put through hell and back. I've been attacked by Selkie, seven feet tall beasts, thrown around like a doll, and both me and our baby are completely fine. William has been secretly showing me moves to protect my stomach and I absolutely do not intend on letting anyone or anything get a hit to my abdomen. Climbing down the hill, Leyland doesn't let go of my hand, not even when he himself slips.

"Nope. No. Come here." He pulls me close and lets his wings loose.

"Oh, Le." Running my hand against the beautiful feathers, I notice his dick getting hard against my side, I look up at him, pasting a sexy smile on my face. "Banana?"

Laughing, he whispers in my ear. "I love you. Hold on." With that, he thrusts us up into the air.

"Arrgh, yes! Whoop!" My hair whips around in the wind as he flies us to the rocks below and sits me on one around waist-height, pulling my legs apart he settles between them. "You're so sexy Le, I'm so wet." He lets out a groan as he dips his hand between us to cup my pussy.

"Oh, sweetheart, ah." His hips buck as he removes his hand and his dick rubs against me, making me wiggle for better friction. He truly is glorious.

"Why couldn't I get wings? Or at least telekinesis!" Karl grumbles as he slides the rest of the way down the hill, as Garrot floats himself down, landing with ease on the sand.

"Ah, brother, but you could have just asked the earth to rise and carry you down!" Garrot throws at him.

"No way, I have more respect for my earth than that. Not using her as an elevator." he grumbles

"Hear that, Ever?" Garrot says as he saunters over to Le and me. "Karl's got himself a girlfriend."

"No thanks," Karl appears to my left, Victor right behind him, "Got all I need right here." He kisses me softly and runs his hand between mine and Leyland’s bodies, to rub my belly. So cute. Tomorrow I want to sit everyone down, and find out exactly how they each feel about this. So far though, it seems they're all just as excited as me.

"I want to mark you all, now," I announce. They stand there, huge smiles on their faces.

  "Gods yes."

  "Finally."

  "It would be an honour."

"Oh sweetheart, I thought you'd never ask." they all talk at the same time.

Standing, I walk towards the sea, Looking over my shoulder, I pull my dress over my head.

"Let's go for a paddle, no clothes necessary. I want you all."

I stand in front of my four chosen consorts, we are all naked. The breeze caresses our sensitive skin. They make a circle around me, each of them on one knee in the water. Together, Karl, Garrot, Leyland and Victor say their vows to me, as the sun sets in the sky behind us.

"Everly Davis, Queen of the Seas, saviour of humankind and otherkin alike, I pledge to you my unwavering allegiance. Now and for eternity. I vow to honour you with valor and integrity, placing your life above all others. I am yours, to Queendom come." they all say the words at the same time, it sends shivers down my spine. My mother gave the instructions in my death dream, apparently she gave the guys some, too. Oh, fuck me backwards. That's some fucking serious shit right there.

"I accept your oaths, and I pledge to you that I will serve otherkin and humankind with valor and integrity. To each of you, I gift part of my essence. I am yours, and you are mine, from now until eternity." The air around us fills with our inner lights: earth brown, electric blue, soft pink, glittering silver, and now wine red. Victor. It's absolutely stunning.

Instinctively, I take Leyland’s hand in mine, and kiss the inside of his wrist, eliciting a sharp gasp from him, and then a moan of pure pleasure. I do the same to each of my guys. They all react the same, as if I've pleasured them like never before, but also sent acid flowing through their veins. Tears flow freely from my eyes as I stand before my four warriors, my family. My Kin. Helplessly, I wait as my essence intertwines with theirs, bodies contorting and moans between pain and pleasure fill the air.

After what feels like an eternity, they rise to their feet, the sand beneath us rumbles and shifts, the wind blows fiercely, water splashes around us, the heat of the sun sears our skin. Karl, Leyland, Garrot, and Victor place a hand on my bare skin and light bursts from our chests, shooting to the sky. An iridescent rain falls from the heavens and soaks into our skin, it feels like something between fire and ice.

When the light dies down and the rain stops, my guys form a circle around me once again. Closer this time, our bodies touch from shoulders to knees, north, east, south and west. I crash my mouth to Leyland's, my hands gripping his hair. I twist and do the same with Garrot. Then Karl. And finally, Victor and I stand face to face. He may have just joined us, but I feel a connection to him, faster than a lightning strike he's entered my heart and taken a part of my soul into his own. Thunder claps above us and I place my hands on either side of Victor's face, as I make contact he throws his head back and shouts to the sky. Inside him, I see his dormant Leviathan form, my silver light wraps around it and I can feel his form shifting, changing into something else. Something magnificent.

  Chapter Thirty-One

  VICTOR

As Everly places her hands on either side of my face, power shreds through my soul and the world around us drops away. I stand in front of my Queen, no longer naked, she wears a white toga, has a silver trident in her delicate hand and a crown of shells atop her head. I kneel at her feet "My Queen."

  "Victor, um where are we?"

"Atlantis, my Queen. This is your Queendom." I keep my eyes to the floor, a show of respect to the powerful queen in front of me.

Suddenly, I feel her hand grasping my chin, lifting my face to hers she says; "I may be your Queen here, Vic, but my consorts will never kneel to me. Stand, dear Victor, claim your place beside me." Amazement and awe fills me as I rise to my full height.

"That's better, oh, this is a cute trident." She runs her soft hand along its shaft and my dick twitches beneath the cloth wrapped around my waist. "Queen, huh, man this is wild. So, we are here to choose your form, huh?"

"Yes my Q- sorry. Everly. Behind you are your choices."

She looks confused as she turns on her heel, and gasps as she takes in the many forms in front of her.

"Fuck me sideways!" she gasps. I chuckle and slide to her side, she slips her tiny hand in mine. Angling her face to look into my eyes, she says, "Choose, dear Victor, this is your choice."

Tears spring to my eye, she's giving me the choice? I've never been allowed to choose anything my whole life. The tears roll down my cheeks as I turn my gaze to the forms before us.

"Victor, my son." My mother walks from the images in front of us, and a sob escapes me.

"Mother?... how?" She looks exactly the same as she did when she was taken from me. I was a mere twenty years old when she died. Murdered by Selkie. Poseidon had propositioned me that very morning.

"Join us, Victor, I will give you a new powerful form. You will help me achieve my goals. It will be glorious!" the man I hate with all of my being stands before me.

"I will never join you, Poseidon, you and your intentions are evil!" I yell, anger fueling my resistance.

"Ah, child, you have but a single chance to save yourself. Choose wrongly, and you will be destroyed!"

The very next morning my mother's body was found, barely recognisable. I loved her with my whole soul. The day she was murdered, something died inside of me. I'd never been able to love again. Yet, here she stan
ds before me.

"How is this possible? You were killed." I utter.

"I'm a part of you, child," she reaches out her hand, her fingertips touching my heart. "In there. I've always been there. But you locked me and your heart away."

Something inside my chest breaks, agony bursts from deep within and I crumple to the floor.

"Victor! What did you do?" I hear Everly scream at my mother. I thrust my hand in the air. She grasps it, bending down next to me, and I sob into her chest.

"He is free now, my Queen." my mother tells her.

"Free? Free from what? He's in pain!" Everly seethes.

"Free to love. To feel. Now choose.”

Everly's next words crack like a thunder clap in my soul and I rise to my feet. When I do, my mother is gone.

"Time to choose, Vic, I love you." I turn to face Everly. My heart is so full of love it pounds in my chest. Taking a step forward, my hand firmly grips hers. I reach my other out and take hold of the form that has called to me my whole life.

  Karl

The waves lap around our calves, making Everly's body sway back and forth. Garrot, Leyland and I form a circle around her and Victor's bodies as they stand there, frozen. Her hands cupping his face, his hands clutching her hips. The air is cooler now, just a few moments ago it was stiflingly hot. Garrot holds his hand out and I take it; Leyland joins hands with us too, and together we hold them both up.

"Wow, shit a duck up its arse." Garrot breaks the silence.

"Agreed. Wow." I comment. Shocked and awed.

"She's so beautiful. When she exploded with light? Oh, I thought my heart was about to burst from my chest. And these marks ..." Leyland says, awe clear to hear making us all look down at our chests.

"We are lucky sods, that's for sure. Any of you feel this protection spell?" I ask, worried we are not as protected as I think.

"I can," Garrot says. "It's holding steady. Powerful, too. I'm gonna have to ask Mickey to teach it to me it."

Leaning his head on Everly's shoulder, Leyland replies; "Yeah, we could definitely use a spell like this, especially with the baby on the way."

"Not at all a bad idea. I wonder if we could spell Ever? Cause you know she ain't staying at home when the shit hits the fan," Gar laughs.

"Garrot, you're a genius! And yeah, she isn't going to stay somewhere else when Poseidon comes for her. Not a chance in hell that she's going to let us fight for her." I reply, yeah, Everly is not one to take shit lying down.

We fall back into silence, no doubt we are all thinking about how Everly is stubborn as fuck. My body still tingles from all that extra power that poured into me as Everly made her vows to us.

"Wonder what's happening?" Garrot breaks the silence.

"She's choosing his form. I think," Leyland answers. Oh shit. That's ... crazy.

"Hopefully, it won't be much longer, this hard-on is killing me." Of course that's Garrot.

Rolling my eyes, I let a snort of laughter burst from me, I'm finding it harder these days to play the part of "the boss" While I do like being organised and having the knowledge to keep us all safe, sometimes I find myself happier than ever before. A lot happier. These last few months have been the best of my long life.

"Yeah, mine is rubbing against her arse, it's chafing a bit." I admit. It's getting a bit uncomfortable to be honest. But I dare not let go of Le and Gar, I don't want a big wave to knock Ever and Vic over while they're no longer in their bodies. At least, I think they’re not.

"Le, daddy! Congratulations, brother. So bloody happy for you." I can't help it when my voice cracks a bit. I really am happy for him, he's going to be an amazing dad. He sniffs, like he's holding back tears.

"Thanks, Karl. I'm a lucky sod alright." he says quietly.

"You think it's a boy or a girl?" Garrot asks him.

"I don't know, I don't mind. Though, the thought of a miniature Everly running around causing havoc and falling over everything sounds fantastic to me." he replies lightheartedly. At that, we all burst out laughing. Yeah, sounds good to me too.

  Chapter Thirty-Two

  LEYLAND

Closing my eyes with my head resting on Everly's shoulder, I let my mind wander. The water is cold around my legs, but everything else is hot. Sweat beads down my spine and drops into the ocean. Everly and Victor have been locked like this for some time now. The sky above us is dark, the moon on the horizon huge and bright. Lucky, because we need it to see.

"Well, my dick’s soft. What now? You think we should move them to the beach or something?" Garrot hasn't got the most patience.

"No. It might interrupt whatever is happening?" If we move them and the process has not been finished. who knows what will happen. Suddenly, a noise makes me pick my head up and look at Karl. He's softly humming, looking up into the sky. It’s a song from The Greatest Showman. My head whips to Garrot. His eyebrows are in the same place as mine, in our hairlines. We've never heard him sing, or hum, not even whistle. I didn't even think he would watch a musical.

Watching Karl, I can't help but hum along. He's got the cheesiest smile on his face, his face tilted up to the sky, humming about rewriting the stars. I copy him, and thrust my chin up, and sing the words to the tune he's playing in his throat.

"Fuck me, I'm in a musical," Garrot says, chuckling. Karl stops humming to laugh, but they both go silent as I belt out the chorus, Zac Efron's part. My voice deeper, huskier. Garrot surprises the shit out of us by singing the girl’s bit. Karl and I stand there, mouths hanging open, as Gar sings at the top of his lungs. Then Karl joins in, and my mind is blown. The words fly out of my mouth, joining them, without even thinking about it. Ha, musical? Absolutely. When we finish the song we just look at each other over Everly's head.

"Shit, you've got me singing like a girl!" Garrot bursts out laughing. "Next, shall we sing This is Me?"

  We all laugh with him.

"Can't believe we just did that," Karl says.

"Happiness. We are more happy than we've been since we were born. Everly has accepted us, for who we are as individuals and who we are together. We've spent our lives in solace, no girlfriends, no family other than Alan. No friends, other than each other." Karl explains, Gar and I nodding along.

"Everly has made us whole. Her and this baby, unite the five of us more than anything ever could. We are a family." I continue from where Karl left of. My voice cracks at the end, emotions running away with me. Garrot's grip on my hand tightens, as does Karl's.

  "Family." Garrot agrees.

"Forever." I promise them. Tears roll down my cheeks unchecked. I'm not ashamed of them, they're happy tears. No longer will I cry sad tears, I'll never be lonely again. Never ever will I again be jealous of the people I make connections for. No more empty bed, or searching for the one. Because everything I've ever wanted is right in front of me. And she loves me, too.

  Everly

Finally Victor gets up off the floor, his eyes flick to me, then he turns to the forms behind me and he walks right into them, and disappears. Trying not to panic, I just stand there, all alone, in Atlantis. No biggie. It's fine, I mean ... it's not like it's scary here. Ok, so it is scary. Come back Vic! Shit. I need to pee.

Suddenly, the sound of waves crashing fills the space around me, someone's singing? Oh my God is that Leyland? Wait, Karl and Garrot too? If I could faint right now, I would. Their voices soothe me, the melody they create chases away my fear. Recognizing what they're singing, I hum along.

My hips start to move on their own, yup. I've lost it. I'm in the middle of a city under the sea, alone, but not really because I'm actually on a beach in Scarborough, with my three chosen consorts. Nope. Four, Ever. It was never just three. Now that I can think about my dreams without the fear they used to cause, I can see that Victor was there all along, but he wasn't in the fog. No, he was in the ocean. Just waiting for me to find him.

I plop my arse on the floor, running my fingers over the sand. The guys’ beautiful voices sound around m
e, Vic better hurry up before I fall asleep. I can feel time passing, like a tick tock in my chest. Am I tempted to have a look around? Hell no. My ass is staying right here until Victor comes back. It would be my luck that I get lost or attacked. Suddenly, the air burns my lungs, sweat drips down my spine and I just lift my hand to fan myself when Vic crashes through the images in front of me.

"Shitting hell! What the bloody crap happened?" I yell as I stand. He's bloody and burnt, crispy bits of skin poking through holes in his toga.

Grabbing me, he tells me, "I had to fight, to prove I was worthy of the form I chose. Listen, Everly, I don't have much time, when you return to your body you must grab the guys and run. As fast as you can, understand? Just run, sweet girl. Okay?" He's panting and blood drips down his face.

I turn my head to look behind him and gasp, "What the ...?"

"Go, Everly, go now!" At his words, I'm thrust back into reality to find Karl, Leyland and Garrot in a circle around me, their hands linked as my body sways with the current.

"Move! We have to run!" I grab Leyland’s hand and pull him behind me, he in turn pulls Karl and Garrot. Together, we run to the shore.

"What is going on, sweetheart? Where have you been?"Leyland yells as we splash through the water.

"No time to explain, where is Victor?" I ask while dashing through the water.

"A few minutes ago, he just melted into the water. Weirdest thing I've ever seen!" Garrot answers me. Melted? What. The. Fuck. Suddenly, we’re doused with cold water, making us all jump and gasp. From the sea rises the biggest fucking squid-looking creature I've ever seen. "Oh, fuck me."

  "Kraken." Karl whispers.

"Wow, what a great choice, Ever." I turn to Garrot, awe making his jaw hang open.
