“You there!” a gruff voice commands, loudly. I look all around but I don’t see anyone. “You alone out here?”
“N-no!” I lie.
“You’re on my property.”
“I’m leaving!” I jog faster, no idea where I’m even going. Just away from the deep, scary, masculine voice.
I hear more of his footsteps over the leaves. Soon the ground is a blanket of snow. Even running, I shiver from the cold. His steps grow louder. Is he tracking me?
Then suddenly I collide head-first into a wall of man. His arms come around me. “Let me go!”
“Where’s your friend?”
“Who?” I look up at his face. He has the most intense dark eyes, scruffy beard, kissable lips. He looks wild, untamed. But also…beautiful. I want to know more about him. Why does he live out here, so far away from civilization? What does he look like naked, how does he taste?
Am I losing my mind, too? In spite of the cold, my pussy shudders. If I stare too long I’ll be wet to my knees.
“Your friend.” He narrows dark eyes at me. “You shouldn’t be out here all alone.”
“I-I…”
“I thought so.” He hoists me into his arms as if my body weighs nothing at all. “You’re coming with me.”
