‘Gabe!’ I panted. Even though he’d made me come twice that morning, I couldn’t get enough of him. If he was a drug, then I was most definitely an addict.

He stroked his cock with his free hand before sliding his fingers out of me. ‘You’re going to come on my cock, not my hand,’ he growled as he pushed me back against the desk.

He lifted my left thigh with one hand for easier access and wrapped the other arm around me as he impaled me with his thick length.

‘Jesus, Gabe!’ I groaned in his ear.

‘I’m going to make up for all the time we were apart, baby. I’m never letting you go again,’ he said as he pounded into me.

I clawed at his suit jacket as my climax washed over me. ‘Oh, God,’ I breathed.

‘Fuck, Sam,’ he hissed as he came inside me with a few final thrusts.

He let my thigh fall gently back onto the desk and then he wrapped his other arm around my waist. Pulling me closer to him as he nuzzled my neck. ‘I love you,’ he panted.

‘I love you too. And I’m so glad I forgot my lunch.’

‘So am I, baby,’ he chuckled against my neck. ‘I’m sorry I was quick and rough with you, but I have to get to a meeting, and I couldn’t have lasted the rest of the day without burying my cock in that sweet pussy.’

I felt my insides clench around him. ‘Have I ever told you how much I love your filthy mouth.’

‘Yes, although you don’t have to. I can feel your tight cunt milking me when I talk dirty to you,’ he grinned.

  My cheeks flushed pink.

‘I have to go or I’ll be late,’ he said as he pulled out of me and started to fasten his trousers and belt.

I fastened my dress and watched him fix himself back in place. A moment later, he was back to looking like a respectable businessman again.

He looked up and smiled at me. ‘I’ll pick you up at five?’ he asked.

‘There’s no need. I’m in court with Simon this afternoon. He already said he’d give me a lift home.’

Gabriel frowned. ‘I’d rather pick you up myself.’

‘Oh, Gabe. You’re not jealous, are you?’ I teased him.

‘No,’ he snapped. ‘But there’s something about that guy.’

‘Simon?’ I laughed. ‘He’s a sweetie. I promise you, I’m in safe hands. He’ll bring me straight home after court.’

He stared at me for a moment. No doubt considering whether it was worth an argument. ‘Okay. I’ll meet you at home then.’

‘Good. I’ll see you tonight. Enjoy your meeting, handsome.’

He pulled me to him and gave me a deep kiss. ‘I’ll be thinking about you the whole day,’ he said as he brushed the hair from my face. ‘And every single way I’m going to make you come later.’

My insides trembled at the thought. ‘Sex maniac,’ I whispered.

‘It’s the only way to keep you satisfied, baby. I’ll see you tonight.’

I smiled at him and then watched as he walked out of my office. As soon as he’d left, I sank into my chair and blew out a long breath. Gabriel Sullivan was a sex god and he was all mine!

  Chapter 36

  Samantha

I glanced at the text as it flashed up on my phone. It was from Gabriel telling me he was outside in the car. He usually came in, but he was running a little late and I’d already told him I was ready to leave.

My afternoon court session with Simon had been cancelled so I’d accepted Gabriel’s earlier offer to pick me up at five. I shouted goodbye to Nick and left the office for the evening. Climbing into Gabriel’s warm car, I smiled at him and he leaned over and gave me a lingering kiss on the lips.

I felt the heat searing between my legs and had to pull back from him.

‘Sorry, I’m late, baby. I was getting some supplies,’ he said with a grin.

  ‘Supplies?’

‘Yep,’ he indicated the back seat and I looked behind me to see a large paper bag from my favourite deli, with what looked like a bottle of champagne poking out of the top. ‘I picked up all of your favourite foods from Hawthorn’s.’

I turned back to face him. ‘The huge green olives?’

  He laughed. ‘Yes.’

‘And the lemon and coriander chicken?’

‘Yep. And the tiny stuffed peppers.’

‘Sounds delicious. And for dessert?’ I grinned.

  ‘For you, a chocolate brownie.’

‘And for you?’ I flashed an eyebrow at him.

‘I think we both know what I’ll be eating for dessert,’ he said with a wink before he pulled the car away from the kerb, and my insides turned to jelly.

‘And the champagne?’ I asked. ‘Who is that for?’

‘Well, that’s for later. Strawberries and alcohol-free champagne.’

‘Alcohol free champagne? I didn’t even know they did that.’

  ‘They certainly do, baby.’

‘And here was me thinking you were trying to get me drunk so you could have your wicked way with me,’ I laughed.

‘Well, firstly, I wouldn’t be giving you, or our baby real champagne, would I? And secondly, I cannot recall a time when I have ever had to ply you with alcohol,’ he started to laugh. ‘You’re pretty much always ready to go, baby.’

I opened my mouth and feigned my horror. ‘How dare you? I think you’ll find it’s you who’s always ready for action.’

He laughed out loud, throwing his head back and I felt a rush of love for him. I hadn’t heard him laugh like that for a long time. ‘Well, I can hardly argue with that,’ he agreed. ‘Seems we’re a match made in heaven, then?’

‘Seems so,’ I agreed. ‘Anyway, what’s with the food and fake champers. Is there a special occasion I’m missing?’

He turned to me. ‘Yes. A very special occasion. You are back home and I’ve missed eight weeks of looking after you and our baby. So, when we get home, I’m going to run you a nice warm bubble bath and then you can have a soak while I get dinner ready. Then I’ve got Pretty Woman ready to go on the Sky Q box.’

I loved that he knew how to take care of me so well, like how he knew pregnant women shouldn’t soak in a hot bath and how he was prepared to sit through my absolute favourite film ever. ‘You hate Pretty Woman,’ I reminded him.

‘Yes. But I love you,’ he said.

I felt my heart swell in my chest. ‘You’d better be careful, I could get used to this,’ I said with a sigh as I closed my eyes and leaned my head back against the seat.

‘Well, that’s kind of the idea, Sam,’ he said softly.

Three hours later, we had eaten the delicious food and I was sitting on the sofa with my legs draped over Gabriel’s lap and my head on his chest while the credits to Pretty Woman rolled over the screen. He had an arm wrapped around me and was holding the remote control in his other hand.

‘I love that film,’ I said with a sigh. ‘Although I think it set me up to have very unrealistic expectations of relationships.’

‘You want the fairy tale?’ Gabriel asked, mimicking the line from the film as he cupped my chin and tilted my face up to his.

‘Well, I kind of have it … now,’ I said with a smile.

  ‘Kind of?’

‘Okay, I do have it,’ I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck. ‘You’re my knight in shining armour, Gabriel Sullivan.’

He nuzzled my neck and switched off the television. ‘Actually, baby I think you might be mine,’ he breathed against my skin. ‘So, if we’re done with the cheesy movie, can we go to bed? Because there’s plenty more things I’ve missed doing with you.’

‘Really?’ I panted as he slipped his warm hand under the t-shirt of his I was wearing, and gently squeezed my breast. ‘Like what?’

‘Hmm, I could tell you, but I’d rather show you,’ he grinned. ‘And I just remembered I never got my dessert.’ Then he slid his hand out from under the t-shirt and hooked his arm under my legs before standing up from the sofa with me in his arms.

  Gabriel kicked
open the bedroom door and walked into the room, placing me down onto the bed. The way he was looking at me suggested that he wasn’t going to be so gentle with whatever he had planned next.

‘Take off the t-shirt,’ he ordered and I did as I was told until I was lying on the bed in only my white cotton briefs.

He peeled his own t-shirt over his head and tossed it onto the floor. ‘Are those things supposed to be some kind of turn off?’ he nodded towards the white cotton underwear. I usually wore black or colourful lace affairs, but they weren’t as accommodating for my ever increasing proportions. ‘Because they’re having the completely opposite effect, baby,’ he growled.

I grinned up at him. ‘They’re not supposed to be a turn off, no. But I’m glad you like them, because they’re much more comfortable now that my ass is getting so fat!’

‘Your arse is not getting fat. It’s fucking beautiful,’ he said as he unbuttoned his jeans and slid them down his strong thighs. He was naked underneath and his beautiful cock was standing tall and firm, the head glistening with pre-cum. ‘And those little white panties you’ve got on are driving me fucking crazy.’

‘I can see that,’ I smiled.

He stalked towards the bed and leaned down towards me. Hooking his fingers under the band of white cotton, he pulled them slowly down my legs and over my ankles. Then he held them to his nose and inhaled deeply before tossing them onto the floor too.

‘Do you know what I missed most when we were apart, Sam?’ he growled as he crawled over me.

‘My sparkling personality?’ I grinned at him.

He glared at me and placed his hands on my knees, spreading my thighs far apart. ‘No,’ he said as he bent his head low and blew cold air onto my wet folds. ‘Try again.’

‘My cooking?’ I giggled and he nipped at my thigh.

‘Nope. You’ve got one more try, baby, and if you want to come tonight, I’d suggest you put some thought into your next answer.’

I chewed on my lower lip. I could feel his warm breath close to my skin and then he started planting soft kisses at the top of my thighs while I writhed beneath him.

  ‘So,’ he growled against me.

  ‘My pussy,’ I panted.

‘Nope,’ he murmured. ‘But, that was a good try. Because I have missed this sweet, hot pussy, baby.’ I was rewarded for my better effort by his tongue swirling over my clit and I cried out. ‘I missed burying my cock in it, but not as much as I’ve missed eating it every single day.’

I groaned in pleasure as he sucked the sensitive bud into his mouth and then he licked and sucked me to a long, rolling orgasm.

When he’d finished, he crawled up the bed. ‘Turn onto your side, Sam,’ he ordered.

I rolled over onto my left side and he lay behind me, pressing his body against mine. He lifted my right leg into the air until I was stretched wide open, before sliding his cock deep inside me until there was no space left between us.

‘What have you missed most about me?’ he growled in my ear.

‘Your chorizo pasta,’ I groaned. ‘No-one makes it quite like you.’

He pressed deeper into me, pushing his cock a few extra millimetres until there was literally nowhere left for him to go. ‘Really? That’s what you missed most, is it?’

I bit my lip to stifle a moan. How could he have me on the edge again so quickly? ‘Hmm,’ was all I could manage.

He stayed still and I could feel his cock throbbing inside me. I squeezed my pussy muscles around him and he groaned loudly.

‘Stop teasing me with those hungry little squeezes, and answer my question,’ he said as he nipped at my earlobe.

I felt the blood thundering around my body. I tried to grind against him but he held me in place with his powerful arms.

  I was desperate.

All I could think about was the impending orgasm that was threatening to overwhelm me at any minute. ‘I missed you,’ I panted, ‘and how much you make me feel loved.’

I sensed that wasn’t the answer he was expecting and he sucked in a breath. Then he turned my head towards his and sealed my mouth with a kiss, pushing his tongue inside as he started to fuck me. I felt the pressure building in my core as he fucked me relentlessly, his pace unchanging as he devoured my mouth. As my orgasm crashed over me, I wrenched my lips away from his and gasped for air.

‘Jesus, Sam! You make me feel like a fucking animal,’ he hissed in my ear. ‘I can’t get enough of you,’ he said before picking up his pace and finding his own climax.

He rolled onto his back and I turned to face him while we both caught our breath. ‘So, what did you miss most then?’ I asked with a flash of my eyebrow. Apparently, I hadn’t given him the right answer earlier.

He smiled. ‘The way you say my name when you come.’

I pushed him in the chest. ‘That’s it? I thought it was going to be something a bit more meaningful than that.’

‘What?’ he protested. ‘It is meaningful to me. It’s when you’re at your most vulnerable. I love the way you let yourself go completely and the only word you can utter is my name.’

I rolled my eyes. ‘Well, when you put it like that, it doesn’t sound so shallow after all.’

He slipped his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. ‘Nothing about my feelings for you could be described as shallow. But, you know that, don’t you?’

I blinked at him. ‘Yes,’ I said as a tear rolled down my cheek.

He brushed it away with the pad of his thumb. ‘What’s wrong?’

‘Nothing. Everything is perfect,’ I whispered. ‘I love you, Gabe.’

He smiled at me, making his beautiful green eyes twinkle and I nestled my head against his chest.

  Chapter 37

  Samantha

The following morning, Gabriel and I pulled up outside my office in his car, just in time to see Nick arrive on his bike. Even from the comfort of Gabriel’s car, it was clear to see the graffiti daubed all over the windows of our offices.

  Whore. Homewrecker.

And underneath my name on our Donovan Cook sign, someone had crudely sprayed the words ‘is a slut.’

I stayed frozen to my seat as I read the words over and over again. I felt a familiar ball of anxiety settling in my stomach. What fresh hell was this now? Was this something to do with Milton?

‘What the fuck?’ Gabriel hissed as he leaned over me to get a better look.

Nick stood in front of the windows, looking at the graffiti with his mouth hanging open. Then he turned to the car and stared at me with a look of horror on his face before dismounting from his bike and leaning it against the wall. He jogged over to the car and the electric window was wound down in front of my eyes as I remained rooted to the spot in shock.

‘Samantha,’ Nick said and then he shook his head. It wasn’t often he was lost for words, but he opened and closed his mouth like a fish a few times before he spoke again. ‘Why don’t you go home and I’ll deal with all of this,’ he said softly.

I was aware of Gabriel’s warm hand on my arm. ‘That sounds like a good idea. I’ll take you home, Sam.’

That seemed to snap me out of my daze. ‘No!’ I shook my head. ‘After everything I’ve been through, you think a bit of nasty graffiti is going to stop me doing my job. I’ve got clients counting on me.’

I unclipped my seatbelt and picked up my handbag from the footwell of the car.

‘Sam …’ Gabriel started but I turned and gave him my best glare.

‘I want to know who did this. I’m going inside to check the CCTV.’

Gabriel sighed and unclipped his own seatbelt as he turned off the engine. ‘Come on then. I’ll call some of the lads and get them to come down and clean this up.’

Just as we were approaching the door to our office, it opened and we were greeted by our receptionist, Beth.

‘Beth? What are you doing here this early?’ Nick asked.

She looked at the three of us and blushed to the roots of her hair. A few s
econds later, a young man appeared behind her, looking startled by our presence. ‘

I was just showing, Kenny where I work,’ she stammered. ‘But when I got here, I saw the paint, so I called the police. They’re on their way.’

‘You called the police?’ Gabriel scowled. It was fair to say he wasn’t their biggest fan.

‘Relax, Gabe,’ I said as I squeezed his arm. ‘That’s what most people do when something like this happens.’

‘But she should have spoken to you and Nick first,’ he snapped.

‘Why didn’t you call us first?’ Nick asked her and I couldn’t help feel sorry for our young receptionist. Couldn’t these two read the situation at all? Her friend was obviously not there to see where she worked – her job wasn’t that interesting.

‘I didn’t know what else to do,’ Beth stammered.

‘Look. Maybe your friend should leave, and we’ll discuss this inside, eh?’ I suggested.

Beth nodded and forced a smile. ‘Yes,’ she said as she stepped aside to let her friend out and us in.

The four of us walked along the corridor.

‘Did you see anyone when you got here, Beth?’ Gabriel asked.

‘No. I only got here about fifteen minutes ago. There was no-one around.’

‘How about you make us some coffee while we check the CCTV?’ I suggested to Beth. ‘And in future, don’t be bringing your friends here out of hours – for any reason.’

Together, Gabriel, Nick and I walked into the conference room and Nick fired up the monitor so we could watch the CCTV.

Nick rewound until we found what we were looking for at 6am that morning. I looked at Gabriel and saw him glaring so hard at the screen, I thought he might give himself a nosebleed.

  ‘Is that …’ I started

  ‘Jennifer!’ he snarled.

  ‘Your ex-wife?’ Nick added.

  Gabriel nodded.

‘Jesus Christ,’ I breathed as I sat back in my chair.

Nick glanced between us both with an anxious look on his face. ‘I’ll go and see where Beth is up to with that coffee,’ he said before clearing his throat and walking out of the room, closing the door behind him.
