Imperfect Saint

“Oh, fuck yes.” Colin cursed again and then made a soft mewling sound, his hands softening in Reed’s hair. “Missed you, babe.”

“Mmm.” Reed agreed with a hum that had Colin tightening his hands into fists again.

He’d missed this too. This feeling of utter contentment. Rightness. They’d had their problems to be sure, but if their separation had reinforced anything for Reed it was that they were as perfect a fit as two people could ever be.

He hollowed his cheeks and sucked and Colin’s hips thrust. Reed held onto him and opened his mouth, letting Colin take what he needed. But Colin hadn’t lost complete control, not yet, because instead of pounding into his mouth, he steadied himself and jerked Reed up from the floor.

“Hey!” Reed started to complain about the manhandling but Colin’s mouth was on his again before he could utter another word and they were sharing air as Colin made quick work of stripping him and then tossing him onto the bed.

Reed glanced up from where he was spread out on the mattress and marveled at the man in front of him. So strong. So beautiful. And his. Colin has been his since they were teens. Some people thought it was impossible to find your soulmate when you were that young but Reed knew better. Even when he’d been mad at Colin for hiding him, for hiding them and what they shared, he’d always loved this man. Always. What they had wasn’t ordinary love, it was the kind of love that made them better men and better people and he couldn’t believe he’d almost lost it.

“You wanted quick and dirty?” Colin raised an eyebrow, a knowing smirk on his handsome face as he stroked his thick cock.

  “Yes.”

“Then that’s exactly what you’re going to get.” He tossed two packets on the bed beside Reed’s naked him. “Lube. Now. I want you so bad I’ll come if I do it myself.”

Reed smiled at the admission so easily given. He grabbed the thin packet of lube and ripped it open with his teeth. And then he sneezed.

“Ah man…” He whined, “Peppermint? Really, Col?”

“It was on sale after the holidays.” Colin shrugged, “And it reminded me of you.”

“Because I hate it?” Reed chuckled as he squeezed the horribly smelling liquid onto his fingers and then stroked his cock and ran his hand down to his ass, shuddering at that first butterfly touch against his puckered hole.

“What can I say? I hate fucked my hand more than once wishing it was you.”

“So sweet.” Reed bit his lip to stifle a moan as he worked a finger inside, stretching himself as Colin watched, those dark eyes never leaving the spot where Reed’s fingers were penetrating himself.

“I didn’t hate you for leaving. I hated myself for letting you go.” Colin slid onto the bed, holding himself above Reed and nuzzling their lips together, “I could never hate you.”

“You shouldn’t hate yourself either.” Reed moaned at the sensation of his fingers moving in and out but it wasn’t enough. “I need you, Col. Please. Fill me up. Make me whole again.”

Colin made a sound in the back of his throat and then bit Reed’s shoulder, “You make me lose all control when you say shit like that.”

  “I know.”

  “I love you for it.”

“Love you too. Now fuck me.”

Colin didn’t have to be told twice. He lined their bodies up and found Reed’s hole. He held his legs wide as he worked his cock inside. Reed blew out a rough breath at the feel of him. Stretching. Filling. Colin slid home, burying himself inside Reed’s body and they both froze for a moment, just taking in the sensation.

“Reed.” Colin brushed his hair back off his forehead, “Look at me.”

He did. How could he not? He’d always been shit at denying this man.

“I love you.” Colin held his gaze, serious and heavy, “I’ll love you until the world stops spinning and there’s no air left in my lungs but please, please don’t ever leave me again. Talk to me. We’ll work out whatever is wrong. Just don’t leave me.”

Reed felt tears well behind his eyes and blinked, trying to keep them back. His throat felt tight so he nodded quickly but he knew that wasn’t enough for Colin. It wasn’t enough for either of them in this moment.

“I love you too and I promise I won’t take off again. I don’t want to live without you either.”

“Good.” Colin pulled his hips back and then slammed back in hard and fast, “Because you’re not going to go a day without me ever again.”

“Ah. God. Col.” Reed pulled his down and kissed him frantically as Colin began to fuck.

The heat. The friction. The feeling of being full. The way Colin knew exactly how to can’t his hips to hit Reed in that spot that made him shudder. It was too much and he knew he wasn’t going to last long. When Colin’s hips lost their measured strokes and he began to pound into Reed at a fast, frantic pace, he knew that he wasn’t the only one.

They came together wild and out control. Needy. Arms and hands grabbing, groping, scratching. Mouths seeking and sucking and biting. Their sweaty bodies slid together until the friction got to be too much and Reed arched his back and cried out as he came. Colin wasn’t far behind him. He grunted as he thrust twice more and then buried himself deep and shuddered his way through his own orgasm.

They collapsed together, a tangled heap of arms and legs. Exhausted and breathing hard, they simply held each other for a long time. Here, in a secluded bungalow at an exclusive beach resort, Reed had finally found home again.

Because home was Colin. It always had been. And he never intended to leave home again.

Reed sighed as they lay together, naked, sweaty and covered in come. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d been so happy. This was the best day he’d had in a long time and it was only going to get better when he forced solid, staid Colin up onto the karaoke stage at the wedding reception and forced him to sing Dolly Parton songs with him like he used to. Colin threw an arm over him and curled against his side but Reed twisted his head, looking at the painting hanging above the bed and then turning his head to look from another direction.

  “Hey, Col.”

  “Hmm?”

He knew from experience that after an orgasm that was the best he was going to get out of his man so he didn’t wait for actual words.

“Look at that piece of art above the bed and tell me it doesn’t look like a flock of horny flamingos having an orgy.”

“What?” Colin opened one eye to look up at him and when he saw Reed’s grin he groaned and rolled off him so he could look up at the painting too. He laughed a little, “I’ve been looking at that photo since I got here yesterday and never thought that, but now I can’t unsee it for the life of me.”

“You’re welcome.” Reed pulled him back into his arms and kissed him lightly.

Colin nuzzled his face into his neck, “My life without you was so boring. I don’t ever want to go back to that.”

“I’ll never let you be bored again.” Reed promised and it was one he knew he would keep for the rest of his life. “Oh, by the way, I adopted a dog so we have a pet now.”

“Ah hell, you know I don’t have time for a pet.” Colin whined and then shook his head, “Fine. As long as it means you’re coming home I can deal with a dog. What’s his name?”

  “Hoppy.”

“Why would you name a dog Hoppy?” Colin raised a curious eyebrow.

“Because he only has three legs and he hops around of course.”

Colin laughed then, long and loud and full of life, “It’s a good thing I love you Reed Meyers otherwise your habit of saving wounded animals would be really annoying.”

“Hey, I saved you didn’t I?” Reed protested as he rolled on top of his man and kissed him lightly.

Colin wrapped him up in his arms and smiled, “You did and you do, every day. You save me from a boring, lonely life and I love you for it.”

  THE END
