We often get asked why we write multiple books for characters instead of standalones. Why we give books to couples after their HEA. There’s really just one simple answer: this is what we love to write. There’s no other reason than that.
And we’re so immeasurably grateful that there are readers who want what we crave to put to paper—these books about characters already in love, battling foes and hurdles together. Maximoff & Farrow’s wedding book is special to us for a multitude of reasons, and there wasn’t any doubt that we would give them anything less than they deserve. As our first gay couple with on-page POVs, we wanted to write all the small moments. Show as much as we could. As Farrow would say, it’s the little things.
Writing is a process of two, but publishing is a process of many—and we’re forever appreciative to the people that help us behind the scenes.

It happened with Daisy, Ryke, Connor, Rose, Jane and Thatcher. So many of our characters cut chunks of our souls out and hang onto them. Twenty books later, and we still don’t know how to say goodbye.
So we don’t anymore.
We’ll just have a “see you later” because in some form or fashion, we’ll always revisit our characters. That’s just the kind of writers we are.
