Legendary Daddy

“You don’t have to miss it,” Sharod continues. “Seems to me you have an opportunity right in front of you.”

  I squeeze Bentley’s shoulder. “I do. I’m very lucky.”

The bathroom door opens, and Taylor comes out looking freshly showered, his long hair up in a messy bun. He dresses while Sharod takes the bathroom.

  “How was it?” Taylor asks.

  “Amazing. You guys looked good.”

Taylor smiles, his eyes lingering on mine. As he slinks across the room toward me, I tense, my eyes shooting to Bentley, who is distracted with packing up his equipment.

“So, Legend,” Taylor purrs, licking his bottom lip. “I’ve wanted to meet you for a long time. Anything I can do to entice you back into performing?” He puts his hands on my chest. His nails are perfectly manicured, slightly long, and painted a pale pink. “I think we’d be magic together.”

Gently, I move his hands off my chest. “I’m not performing, but I’ll keep you in mind.”

“I’m your type. You can toss me around all you like.”

My eyes shift to Bentley, who is still not paying attention.

“Thank you, Taylor. You’re very beautiful.”

Taylor glances over his shoulder at Bentley. “Unless you already have eyes for someone else.”

“Never know what my next move might be.”

He bats his long lashes at me. Before Bentley, I would’ve been all over Taylor, but his kind of beauty doesn’t light me up anymore.

“You know where to find me.”

  “I do. Thanks, Taylor.”

“Ciao.” He blows me a kiss then joins Sharod as the two chat with Bentley before leaving. Once they leave, I help Bentley finish packing up, then we turn on the security alarm and lock the doors. He’s oddly silent, but I wait until we’re in the car before I address it.

I reach for his hand, squeezing it gently. “You okay?”

He nods. “Yes.” He shifts away, gazing out the window.

I’m tempted to use my Daddy-voice on him, but I decide to give him space to process whatever is on his mind. Once we’re inside my house and settled on the couch, I know we have to talk. He’s not even cuddling.

  “What’s wrong, Bentley?”

  “Nothing.”

  “Bentley.”

His eyes widen. “Daddy-voice,” he groans. “So not fair. I’m powerless to resist it.”

“Would you please talk to me? Did I do something wrong?”

“No, of course not. I guess…” He shakes his head. “Please don’t make me talk.”

“Do you want a cuddle instead?”

He shakes his head, his eyes focused on his sneakers. Something has him upset.

“Please, Bentley.” I use my softest voice. “It hurts me to think you’re sad. I want to fix it if I can. Please.”

His eyes shift up to me. “That wasn’t Daddy-voice.”

“No. It was me just asking you to tell me what’s going on. I don’t want to make you. I want you to want to.”

He nods. “Um. Okay. That’s very respectful, so I guess I’ll try.”

He picks at his cuticle for a second before clenching his fists. “I told you that I know the difference between real life and performing. I meant that.”

  “Okay.”

“But Taylor was flirting with you. A lot. He...touched you.”

I blink rapidly, trying to recall the interaction. “Do you mean when he put his hand on my chest?”

Bentley nods. “It was the way he did it. I heard him. He said you could be magic together, and then he…” He bites his lips until he corrects it. “He implied you might like me, but you didn’t admit it. Maybe you’re embarrassed by me. I’m so plain compared to Taylor. I guess it made me sad to see what you could have instead of me.”

My blood nearly boils over. “Bentley. Babe. You can’t be serious?”

“I don’t like it when I’m a secret.” He twists so he’s facing away from me. “I’ve been a secret a lot of times, and I don’t like it.”

My heart pulls in my chest. “Bentley. Please look at me.”

  “No.”

  “Bentley.”

He huffs, twisting slightly toward me. A few seconds later, he shifts his eyes up, and when I see them filled with tears, I can’t resist, and I pull him into my arms. He sniffs as he buries his face in my chest. Slowly, his arms wrap around me.

“I can try to be prettier if you want,” he whimpers. “I’ll be anything you want, but I don’t want to be a secret.”

Rubbing his back, I press a kiss to the top of his head. “Baby. You are not a secret.” I pull him back, forcing him to look at me. Ah, shit. His face is flushed, nose red, eyes damp. “Why do you think you’re a secret? What did I say to make you think that?”

“You could’ve told him I was yours, but you didn’t. You avoided it. Taylor is so glamorous, and he’s like Arian, and I’m not. I could try—”

“Stop.” Bentley snaps his mouth shut. “I hate to break the news to you, but you’ve gotten yourself upset for no reason. I adore you, Bentley. Adore. I think you’re stunning, and one thousand times more beautiful than Taylor and Arian combined.”

He shakes his head. “You’re just saying that to be nice or something.”

“I told you before I don’t say things I don’t mean. You’re right that Taylor and Arian have a lot in common in the looks department. So do a million other boys on Instagram. Do you know why I prefer your beauty?”

He shakes his head, sniffling as he clings to my T-shirt.

“Because it’s all real. That blush on your cheeks, the pink of your lips, the thickness of your lashes. Your smile is genuine and made of pure joy and sunshine. When you laugh…” I shake my head, smiling. “It’s my favorite sound. You look the same when you go to sleep and when you wake up. You’re sexy, funny, sweet, and everything this broken-hearted Daddy needed. Needs.” I correct myself. “Present tense. I need you, Bentley. You make me happy, and it’s been a long time since I’ve felt this good.”

He studies my eyes, his lips twisted. “Why didn’t you tell Taylor I was yours then?”

“Two reasons. We hadn’t discussed it yet, and I don’t know him. I don’t know if he’s going to run to social media to tell the world he saw me today. I don’t know how people are going to react, so it felt safer to be cautious and protect your identity.”

  “You were...were protecting me?”

“That’s my job, sweet boy. If there’s going to be a media circus, that’s my cross to bear. Not yours.”

He grips my shirt tighter, pulling it away from my skin as if he’s frustrated. “Not true. If I’m yours and you’re mine, we bear the cross together. I would never let you fight alone. You might be the Daddy, but I’m here to help you. You don’t have to do it by yourself.”

I exhale, nodding. “You’re right. I’m not used to having this kind of support in my life other than a few close friends. I was just trying to bullshit my way through that interaction. I didn’t want him. Didn’t you see me move his hand?”

“Yes.” He shrugs. “I guess I got insecure.”

“You literally have nothing to worry about. I really…I care about you.” The words feel empty on my tongue as though they aren’t enough to truly express what I feel about Bentley. But the exact words won’t come. It’s more than caring, but maybe not quite love yet.

“I care about you too, Legend. More than anyone before.”

My chest is tight but in a good way. I’m full of feelings and goodness and light, all gifted to me by the sweet man on my lap.

“I’m sorry, Bentley. I never want to be the source of your sadness. I’m extremely proud of you, and I’m incredibly attracted to you.”

A slight smile pulls at his lips.

“But we need to talk about this self-sacrifice thing you have. I never want you to give up something about yourself for me. Do you remember when we talked about this before?”

  He nods. “Yes.”
r />   “You shouldn’t want a man who wants you to change, okay? You should stand your ground and be yourself and be loved for exactly who you are. Just like you firmly told me you don’t want to be a secret, you need to firmly own who you are and demand to be loved and accepted as you come. You deserve that.”

He nods, straightening his shoulders. “You’re right. I got scared someone could take you away. It would break my heart if that happened.”

“It would break my heart to lose you.”

“I’m sorry too. I assumed things without talking to you. You’re just everything to me. It feels like a dream, being with you, and I’m always a little bit afraid I’m going to wake up and none of it will be real, you won’t really know me, and I won’t be living this incredible life with you.”

“But it is real. You’ll believe it one day.”

“I promise to not get insecure, and if I do, I’ll talk to you.”

  “Great.”

“Do you promise not to shelter me anymore? Whatever storms come, I’m holding your hand through it.”

His earnest request unties another knot of sadness and loneliness I hold inside. “I promise. Thank you.”

His face lights up. “Thank you. Should I be punished for being dramatic?”

“No, baby. Having feelings shouldn’t be punished. How about a bath and a nice glass of champagne to celebrate what you accomplished tonight?”

“That sounds nice.” He grins, bouncing on my lap. “Then can I eat your ass?”

I laugh. “Only if I can eat yours too.”

“Deal.” He climbs off my lap. “What were you going to tell me when we were alone earlier?”

“Oh.” Heat rushes over me with the memory. “Um, uh, when Sharod came and some of it hit you…”

  “Yes?”

“Not gonna lie. I desperately wanted to cover you in my cum.” His eyes go wide as I step closer, pulling him by the waist. “I want to mark you. I want to look at you and know that you’re mine.”

Bentley swallows hard, eyes still wide. “Yes. Please. Oh fuck. I want that so much. You could…” He gasps softly. “Daddy.”

  “What, baby?”

“You could collar me.” His voice is so breathy it’s almost a whisper. “I would love that, I think.”

  “You think?”

“I’ve never had one, but they look so hot.”

“Jesus, Bentley. You are so fucking sexy.”

He grips the waistband of my jeans. “Will you pick out a collar for me? Or a cage or…” He squeezes his eyes closed for a second. “Literally anything. I want you to know you own me. You’ve always owned me. Before I even knew you.”

I cup his face, kissing him hard. He presses against me, practically climbing me as he desperately returns my kiss. His whimpers and moans against my lips drive me crazy. I reach under him and hoist him up, carrying him to my bedroom.

After tossing him on my bed, I start to unbutton my jeans until his hand over mine stops me. “Can I do it?”

  I nod. “Yes.”

Bentley stands, making quick work of my clothes. Once I’m naked, I push him gently back to the bed. He gazes up at me, his face a perfect depiction of lust and trust.

“Tell me that you’re beautiful, sweet boy.”

He shakes his head, cheeks quickly turning pink. “No, Daddy. Please.”

“Are you Daddy’s pretty boy?” I reach down and run my hand under his T-shirt, sighing happily when I feel his warm skin. “Daddy’s precious boy.”

Bentley blinks slowly, a shy smile tugging at his lips. “Thank you, Daddy.”

“It would make me so happy for you to say the words and believe them.” I tweak his nipple, making him squirm. “Damn, you feel good in my hands.” I drag my hands down his torso, and he lifts his hips to meet me.

  “I…I can try.”

I push his shirt up, bending down to kiss his soft stomach. “Take your time.”

I grip his arms above his head, holding them in my wrist. His eyes go wide as he tries to rise. With my free hand, I flick the button of his jeans, once again revealing the white lace boy shorts.

  “Daddy’s sexy boy.”

Bentley grins. “I am.” He nods. “I’m your sexy boy.”

I smile in encouragement. “What else?”

  “Um, I’m your precious boy.”

“Mm.” I kiss his thigh. “What else?”

He shakes his head. “That’s enough, Daddy.”

I release his wrists and tug his jeans off. As he lies there in just his panties, I’m overwhelmed by a desire to get him to see himself through my eyes.

  “Bentley.”

He gasps. “Daddy-voice. Am I in trouble?”

  “Of course not. Come here.”

He takes my offered hand, and I walk him over to the full-length mirror in my bedroom. I stand behind him with my hands resting on his slender hips.

“Look at you,” I whisper, pressing soft kisses to his neck and cheek. “What do you see?”

“Um, just a guy in panties.”

  “That’s all you see?”

  He shrugs.

“Bentley. Do you think I think you’re just a guy in panties?”

He twists his lips before sinking his teeth into his pretty pout. I clear my throat, and he quickly releases his lip. His eyes meet mine in the mirror’s reflection.

  “Maybe not?”

“Definitely not. I see a beautifully stunning boy wearing sexy panties that his Daddy wants to tear off with his teeth.”

  “Daddy,” Bentley whispers.

“I see a man with a gorgeous body that brings me so much pleasure.”

  He nods shyly, eyes downcast.

“I see someone who brings me joy every day.” Bentley’s eyes shift up. “And someone who is exciting and makes me feel hopeful for the future.”

Bentley’s eyes well with tears. “Daddy…”

“I think you’re perfect. I love how you feel in my arms and next to me in bed as we sleep. Please tell Daddy that you know you’re a beautiful boy. My beautiful boy.”

He studies my eyes for several seconds, then those gorgeous lips part. “I- I am a beautiful boy.”

  “Tell the mirror.”

He shifts his eyes to his reflection, running a hand over his flat belly. “I am...um…” He exhales. “I am a beautiful boy. I am Legend’s beautiful boy.”

I wrap my arms around him from behind. “Daddy thinks I’m the most beautiful boy.”

His breath hitches. “Daddy thinks I’m the most beautiful boy.”

“He only has eyes for me.”

“He only has eyes for me,” Bentley repeats.

“He’s so happy that I’m in his life.”

Bentley glances at me, eyes still glassy. “He’s so happy that I’m in his life.”

“He hopes I always will be.”

Bentley blinks and a tear slides down his cheek, but a smile pulls at his lips. “He hopes I always will be.”

I lean forward and kiss the crook of his neck, still holding him tightly.

  “Do you understand now?”

  He nods. “Yes. Thank you.”

“Good. One last thing. Tell me that you’re way hotter than an Instagram twink.”

He laughs softly. “I’m way hotter than an Instagram twink.”

“Yes, you are. Let’s go bathe.”

  Twenty

  Bentley

Sitting in the hot soapy water between Legend’s legs, I think about what happened a few minutes ago in front of the mirror. I’ve always thought I’m cute, but beautiful? No. Legend seems to though and that feels good.

I can see the future I’ve always wanted. It’s happening. My business is starting, and I have Legend. But something is bothering me, and I know I should be honest and tell him. I’m just terrified he’s going to think something bad about me.

“What’s wrong, boy? I can feel you tensing up.”

Dang. How does he do that? “I was thinking.”

  “Abo
ut?”

“Things that happened to me. Things that made me sad, and maybe the reason I get insecure sometimes.”

“Do you want to tell me about it?”

“I think I should. It’s embarrassing, but I think you should know everything about me.”

“I want to. You’re safe with me, darling boy.”

I nod, resting my head on his chest as he wraps his arms and legs around me a little tighter.

“I was introduced to the Daddy world when I was twenty. I’ve always gravitated to older men. I was at a party and this guy was talking to me. We went back to his apartment, and he explained it to me. It felt like finding the combination to a lock. I knew after watching your videos and hearing it explained to me in real life, that it was what I wanted. It made so much sense to me. Before that, sex and dating were awkward for me. But when he made me his boy, it just fit.”

Legend gives me a silent, gentle squeeze.

“We didn’t date long. He was only into it in the bedroom, but I’m so glad I met him. He changed my life in a good way.”

  “He didn’t hurt you?”

“No. I didn’t have feelings for him or anything. After him though, I knew I couldn’t go back to just regular relationships. I got online and met guys into it that way. I went to kink events and anything where I would encounter the type of man I wanted.

“When I was younger, it was easier. I was more...dependent. The first Daddy I had who meant something to me put me in a lot of service situations. He told me a good boy would please his Daddy in any way possible. I believed him, and I was so desperate for him to love me. The more acts of service he requested, the more I wanted. I looked up one day and realized I was more like the help than a lover to him. He withheld sex and affection until I earned it.”

  Legend tenses behind me.

“I started to speak up for myself. He didn’t like that. He broke up with me.” I pause, letting the pain of the memories move through me. “After him, I kept gravitating to men just like him. Men who made me work for their attention. Men who had other boys. Men who had secret lives. Men who forced me to live on scraps of affection.”

I clear the emotions clogging my throat.

“So I tried harder. I thought if I showed them what a perfect boy I could be, they would love me back. They didn’t. I was so lost when I moved here. I knew I was a boy in my heart, and I love service, but I didn’t know how to reconcile those needs while still respecting myself if a Daddy pushed my boundaries too far.”
