Legendary Daddy

He jerks above me, milking every drop as he drags the head of his cock across my lips. I lick and suck until he sits back on his heels.
“Jesus, boy. You look fucking unbelievable right now.”
“Picture?”
“Fuck yeah.” He reaches for his phone on the nightstand, then takes several pics of me.
I sit up, gazing at the photos. “I look amazing.”
“Incredible,” Legend agrees. He studies my face before grabbing my chin and dragging his tongue up my cheek. “You taste good too.”
“That’s you, Daddy.”
“Nope. Me mixed with you. Your skin is like candy.” He does it again. “I’m so fucking addicted to you, boy.”
“I like that.”
He smiles, releasing more of those crazy flutters within me.
“Let’s shower.”
My face lights up. “Is my punishment over?”
“Definitely.” He tilts his head. “You understand that I wasn’t really mad, right? And this wasn’t true punishment. I just want you to remember who I am, and how much you mean to me, and that you can be brave and bold and tell me all your secrets. Even the ones about me.”
I nod. “I know, Daddy. At first, your punishment was fun, but then I saw how I could’ve hurt your feelings at Finn’s. I just…” I shake my head. “I guess I’m afraid to say the wrong thing or pressure you for things you aren’t ready for.”
“That’s an unnecessary fear, Bentley. You can’t scare me or pressure me. I know what I’m doing, and for the first time in a long time, I have a lot of clarity. I was afraid of losing myself again, compromising too much, but that was an unnecessary fear too. You...lift me up. You reveal to me the right path to take.”
“I do?”
“Yeah.” He smiles. “It’s whatever path you’re on. Letting you lead the way has fixed a lot of broken parts in me. I’m very excited to see what we’ll get up to next.”
I feel my cheeks warming with the emotion simmering inside me. “Me too, Daddy.”
He grips my hands, gazing at me like he understands how I feel. He knows. “You’re so special, Bentley. I can’t believe you’re mine.”
I laugh. “You can’t believe it?”
Legend laughs. “Come on with you. You’re gorgeous all stained up, but let’s get you clean.”
“And then breakfast? I’m starving.”
“Yeah. Should we swing by and make sure Finn eats?”
“You’re such a good Daddy. Yes, we should.”
After a shower, we lie on the bed together, hands entwined.
“About dinner.”
“Yes,” Legend says.
“My dad is out of town, so we won’t meet him this trip. My mom and stepdad are fine. They’re pretty nice people. They obviously know I’m gay and stuff.”
“I understand no porn talk.”
I laugh. “Right. I think they’ll be cool, but my stepdad is still a little weirded out that I like older men. I think he thinks something in my upbringing caused it.”
“Not the case?”
“I don’t think so. I’m just wired this way.”
“Okay, so stepdad might be a little weird. No problem. Just don’t call me Daddy.”
I laugh softly. “I’ll try. Um, you’re the first guy they’re officially meeting. They bumped into me once when I was out with a man five years older than my dad. That was awkward, but this is the first time it’ll be like, ‘hey, parents, here’s my man.’”
“Ah. You nervous?”
“Not nervous, really, but I don’t know what to expect.”
“Doesn’t matter. I’ll be by your side.”
“Even if it doesn’t go well?”
“Especially if it doesn’t. I’m your soft landing, Bentley. Just like you’re mine.”
“Thank you.”
He rolls to his side to kiss my cheek. “Let’s get the day going. We need food.”
“There’s a cool little breakfast place in my old neighborhood. Finn and I love the pancakes.”
“Sounds like that’s where we’re going.”
I sit up, dragging my fingers through my messed hair. “Can I dress you, Daddy?”
He nods. “Yes.” Legend presses a soft kiss to my lips. “Such a good boy for Daddy.”
The feeling those words give me is indescribable, but one thing I know for sure, I always want to be his good boy.
Twenty-Three
Legend
After a pleasant day spent having breakfast and Bentley showing me around the town he’s from, we pull up in front of his parents’ house. As expected, it’s a typical midwestern suburban house with a cute little fence and manicured yard in front. In the backseat of the Uber, Bentley tenses up next to me. His nerves have increased as the day went by, knowing that I would be meeting his parents. I’m a little nervous, but I’m doing my best to keep my cool on his behalf.
Finn, sensing Bentley’s stress, rubs his friend’s shoulder. “It’s okay, Bentley. Your folks are nice people.”
“I know they’re nice people. I’m just nervous. I’ve never brought a guy home before.”
Finn smiles and nods. “I know, but I think they’re going to be happy that you have somebody out in LA and you’re not alone there anymore.”
Bentley smiles. “That’s a good point. All right, let’s do this.”
I pay the driver, and the three of us get out and walk toward the house. Bentley knocks on the door and a woman who looks exactly like him answers.
“Bentley! Oh my gosh.” She grabs her son and pulls him into an embrace. “It’s so good to see you.”
“Hi, Mom,” he says, cheeks blushing. “Good to see you too.”
She grabs Finn, kissing his cheek repeatedly while whispering condolences for his loss. Then her big brown eyes settle on me.
“Hello,” she says, her voice soft and curious.
“Hello, Mrs.—?”
“Oh no. You can call me, Margie.”
“Nice to meet you, Margie. I’m Legend.”
“Legend?” she questions. “Is that your real name?”
I chuckle softly, very used to this reaction. “Yes, ma’am. It’s my real name.”
She waves her hands. “No ma’am around here. Just Margie. Welcome.”
“Thank you.”
We enter the house, and it immediately brings a smile to my face. It’s similar in a lot of ways to what I grew up with in my parents’ home in California. It’s comfortable and homey and makes you want to sit down in the big comfortable furniture.
We enter the great room where a man I assume to be Bentley’s stepfather is sitting in a recliner watching TV. He’s a big, heavyset man.
“Mike.”
He turns around at the sound of Bentley’s voice, but his eyes shoot straight to me. He seems to force them off of me to Finn.
“Finn. Sorry for your loss.”
“Thanks, Mike. I’m happy Bentley’s here and to be hanging out with you guys.”
“We are too. Bentley.” He nods, showing a distinct lack of affection compared to his mother, but I guess he’s a stepfather so that makes sense.
“Hey.” Bentley slides his hands in his front pockets. “Uh, this is Legend. My boyfriend.”
“Boyfriend,” his stepdad repeats, studying my face. He extends his hand. “Pleasure. Mike Thompson.”
“Nice to meet you, sir.”
He scoffs. “Sir. Seems odd coming from someone my age.”
“He’s not your age, Mike,” Bentley snaps. “Don’t start.”
Bentley’s assertion startles me.
His stepdad gives a curt nod. “Drinks?”
“I’ll get them,” Margie says.
As I watch her in a flurry of activity in the kitchen, doting on her husband’s needs and requests, Bentley’s service kink starts to make sense. I bet this is what he saw modeled growing up. Even though he doesn’t defer to his stepdad, he must have unconsciously decided that love means service.
Short
ly after, we sit at the dining table as Bentley’s mom brings out a platter of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. It’s an all-American meal.
“So, Legend,” Margie says once we begin eating. “Are your parents alive?”
I nearly laugh. How old do they think I am? “Very much so. They are in their early sixties.”
“Married?” she asks.
“My parents?” I nod. “Yeah.”
“And what does your father do?” Bentley’s stepdad asks.
“He owns an accounting firm.”
“Interesting,” Margie says, cutting her meatloaf. “And your mother?”
“Retired teacher. Now she spends her time perfecting her vegetable garden.”
“Sounds like a nice upbringing,” Margie notes.
“The best. My parents are amazing people. They always encouraged me to be myself and live life on my terms. They gave me the space to do that.”
“Like dating men half your age?” Mike snips.
Finn’s eyes go wide, and while I think of something to say, Bentley squeezes my thigh.
“You’re not ruining this trip for me. I will tell you both right now how this is going to go. We’re going to have a nice dinner, and you’re going to be polite and respectful to Legend because he’s my choice. If life is kind, we’ll be spending our lives together. So you can accept it, or you can plan on not seeing very much of me.”
Silence falls over the room. Mike’s jaw twitches while his mother just looks nervous.
“Why am I rude and disrespectful for wanting to understand what a man in his forties wants with my stepson?”
Bentley rolls his eyes. “Give me a break, Mike. There are nice ways to ask these questions and rude ways. I’m also not a child. I’m damn near thirty myself.”
He steeples his fingers. “Fair point.”
Bentley and Finn go back to eating, but I’m not able to.
“He’s amazing,” I begin, drawing the attention of everyone. “Bentley is the brightest star in the night sky. He’s a cool ocean breeze on a hot day. He’s the elixir for a wounded heart.”
Bentley’s mouth falls open.
“His enthusiasm for life is infectious. His smile is a salve for all of life’s cuts and bruises. He’s a force of nature. Unbelievably talented. Obviously stunning. He brings me unbridled joy from just being near him. There isn’t anything about Bentley that I don’t admire and treasure. I chose him, and if life is kind, he’s the last choice I’ll ever make. I don’t care what anyone thinks about our differences, whether that be age, class, or upbringing. We click. We get it. That’s all we need.”
His mother looks stunned while his stepdad gazes at me with a critical eye. “So our opinion and blessing mean nothing to you?”
“I don’t know. Maybe it means something to Bentley, but we’re adults, capable of making decisions on who to love and spend our lives with. If my parents asked me to choose, it would make me sad, but I wouldn’t flinch as I chose Bentley. I hope he would make the same choice for me.”
“Legend,” Bentley whispers.
I lift his hand and kiss the back of it.
“Fine,” Mike says. “You obviously care about him, which is all that matters to us. I wasn’t trying to be rude.”
“It was hard for us,” Margie says softly. “Letting him go to California all alone. We worried people would take advantage of him.”
“He’s stronger than you think, but I’m here now, and I will never let anything happen to him that I have the power to prevent. He’s…” I exhale as I’m hit with a brick wall of emotion. “Precious. He’s precious to me.”
“That’s comforting,” Margie says.
“Thank you, Legend,” Mike says. “It is comforting.”
Bentley hasn’t spoken, but his cheeks are stained pink. He offers a slight smile, then looks to his plate and begins eating again.
The conversation turns toward updates about people around his hometown, questions for Finn, and then to Bentley’s production company.
“It’s coming along,” he says. “Looking for good scripts right now.”
“And what do you do for work, Legend?” Margie asks.
“Actor, but Bentley and I met at a film production convention. I’m interested in the behind-the-scenes as well. Learning a lot from Bentley.”
“Oh, maybe we’ll get to see you walk the red carpet at a Hollywood premier someday,” she gushes.
Finn, Bentley, and I exchange knowing glances.
“Maybe,” Bentley agrees.
After dinner and goodbyes, we’re in the car on the way back to Finn’s apartment. Bentley is still quiet as he makes plans with Finn for how soon he can come to California. We’ve agreed to go to his place tomorrow to help him pack. Then Finn will pick up his dad’s ashes and hop on a plane with us.
Once we drop him off, and we’re back in the hotel, I kick off my shoes. When I look up, Bentley walks into my arms. I hold him close, kissing the top of his head.
“Is something wrong?” I ask.
“No.” He steps back enough to meet my eyes. “Everything is right. Thank you for what you said to my folks. For the record, if I had to choose them or you, it would be you. I hope this means you’re keeping me.” He laughs softly.
“It does.” I cup his chin, overcome once more by the emotions he creates in me. It feels like that moment when you dive into the ocean. The waves swirl around you, knocking you slightly off-balance, but it feels good. Makes you happy. “Bentley…”
His bottom lip quivers. “Yes?”
“It’s, um, kind of overwhelming how you make me feel sometimes. I’ve wanted to take things slowly. Carefully. I didn’t want to make a mistake, and I didn’t want you to make one either.”
He nods.
“It’s easy for me to get caught up and not look at things clearly. I was so afraid I would just fall into you and forget who I am again. That’s not what’s happening though.”
He bites his lip before catching it and nodding nervously. I can see in his eyes how desperately he wants my words of love and commitment, and, for once, that doesn’t scare me.
“When your stepdad challenged me, I felt it all rise to the surface. All the emotion I’ve had walled up in my cautious acceptance of this relationship. The truth is, Bentley, I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I’m uncharacteristically optimistic about the future. I know, with absolute certainty, that future is you. With you by my side, I can rule the world.” I take his hands in mine. I can do this. I’m ready. “I love you, Bentley.”
A sob leaves his lips as his eyes flutter. “Really?”
“Absolutely. Completely. Wholly.”
A tear streaks down his cheek. “I knew you did. I could feel it. I believed it in my heart, but nothing compares to actually hearing it. I have never heard anything more beautiful.”
Smiling, I cup his cheek. “I felt it before I had enough nerve to admit it. You’re only the second person I’ve ever said it to, but you’re the first time I know it’s right.”
His breath catches. “You’re gonna make me bawl like a baby.”
“If you need to, you can with me. You can feel and be anything with me.”
“I know.” His voice breaks. “I’ve…whew.” He exhales, smiling with glassy eyes. “I loved you before I knew you. In my heart and my mind, I knew the kind of man I wanted to spend my forever with. I hoped it was you, but come on, other than vision boards and wishing, the chances seemed kind of slim that I would actually meet you. That’s why I believe it wasn’t up to us. Fate or destiny or the universe, whatever you want to call it, had plans for us, and my heart knew after one evening with you, you were the one. I just had to be patient and wait for you to see it too.”
“I caught up.”
He smiles. “I love you, Legend. It started as infatuation, then it was a crush, but then, it was what my heart was waiting for.”
His words settle something inside me that I didn’t know needed it. It takes me a few stunned m
oments to react. “Wow.”
“What?”
“You’re right. Hearing words I desperately needed is one of the most amazing moments I’ve experienced. I’m astounded by how good it feels.”
Bentley smiles. “You look amazing right now. Peaceful and happy.”
“I am because of you.”
“This is kind of awesome. Being in love is cool.”
“Very cool.” I pull him to me by the waist. “What do you say we order some dessert and a bottle of champagne from room service, take a hot bath, and make love until we both collapse?”
His whole face lights up, filling my chest with love at the same time. “I think that sounds perfect, Daddy.”
A few days later, back in LA, I’m sitting on the couch with my laptop while Bentley and Finn are out sightseeing. An ad catches my eye, and before I even think about it, I’m clicking on it. Hit with sudden inspiration, I scroll through the ready-to-purchase options. Bentley is about to be the proud recipient of a cock cage, a new set of lace panties, and a collar, which can be personalized.
My cell phone buzzes, and I smile when I see Bentley’s name. “Hey, sweet boy.”
“Daddy.”
His distressed voice makes me sit up straight. “What’s wrong?”
“It’s Ramos. I brought Finn over to my old neighborhood. I asked a few people about Ramos, and they said he’s in the hospital. He was shot, Daddy.”
His voice is so sad it breaks my heart. “But he’s okay?”
“I don’t know. I want to go visit him.”
“Which hospital? I’ll meet you there.”
Twenty minutes later, I’m dressed and headed to the hospital. After parking, I walk inside, following directions to Bentley as we talk on the phone. I find him inside a room. Ramos is lying in the bed, looking much smaller than he did before, but not in as bad of shape as I worried he might be.
When he sees me, he shakes his head. “You guys didn’t need to come see me. I’m all right.”
“Are you?” I ask.
He nods. “They got the bullets out and my stats are looking good. I’m getting stronger every day. I could get out any day now they said.”
