"Go get the girl at once Vil! We must end this here, and now!" yelled Von.
Luke runs down the path towards where Chloe drove off in. After running for a few minutes Luke realizes that Vil has already caught up with Chloe, and already in her hands.
"I will make this painless my dear" said Vil.
Von arrives along with the others, and yells for Vil to stop for a second.
"Bring her to me now! Do you sense that? yelled Von.
Vil laughs " What fear? yes, it is lovely".
Von nods no and grabs Chloe "Come dear let me enter your mind".
Von places his hands over Chloe's shoulders, and sniffs the top of her head. Chloe shivers in fear; he smiles at her, and lets her go. As soon as Von let go of Chloe's arms he disappears into thin air with Vil. Chloe drops to the floor and is relieved that she is alive.
Luke looks around the woods" They just ran off, I don't understand.
They all run to Sky with watered eyes. James ask that they all help carry her back to the cabin. Chloe cries out loud pleading for Sky to fight to stay alive. She has become like a sister to Chloe, and she needed her.
Inside the cabin James tend to Sky's wounds, but she does not heal. "Luke, I need you to stay with her. I need to demand a meeting with the Highaut. They must understand this was all a misunderstanding, and unnecessary. If Sky does not make it, someone will have to pay".
"James please don't go to that place alone take Luke with you, I will watch over Sky. Leave the herbs and potions with me, and I will be sure she gets them”. said Chloe
"No! You still must head home tonight. There are ferals trying to kill you for whatever reason, and now the vampires because of your feral scent. And don't worry about us, the vampires are faster, but we are stronger. The vampires have their leader that is why they are so powerful right now. As a pack we would be much stronger, but we lost our alpha two years ago" said James".
"Ok I understand, please be careful. Well I will take my car and go, see you all in a few days. Goodbye guys, and good luck with everything. Wait, I will be safe in my house, or my parents’ home, right?" asked Chloe.
Luke hugged Chloe and assured her she was safest anywhere but there. The vampires could not enter any home without an invitation therefore she would be safe at her parents. The ride home was very difficult for Chloe. All she could do is cry and think of Sky. Her life has changed drastically. She wished she stayed home that day and listened to her mother. She has caused so much trouble. But what she can't regret is meeting Luke, James, and Sky. They have become an important part of her life now, and she'd kill for them. A little over two hours later Chloe arrived at her parents’ home. The place was quiet as usual. Her parents’ home was spacious, and beautiful with a bricked pathway to the front door. Chloe enters and instantly feels out of place. The place she has called home all her childhood was no longer her home. She did not know why, but she just knew she belonged with the pack. She knocked on her mother's bedroom door, and whispered to her mother. " Hey mom!"
Chloe's mother wakes up and rubs her eyes " Chloe my dear is that really you? Are you okay? Oh, I have missed you so much! Come lay with me. Your dad is away for work again, but he will be so delighted to know his baby is back home".
Chloe hugs her mother and curls up next to her like a child " Oh mama, so much has changed".
Chloe's mother holds her tight " Oh dear, I can only imagine all you have endured. I love you so much, lets rest dear.
They fall asleep holding each other tight. Chloe instantly falls asleep. The warmth of being with her mom was enough to calm her nerves, and thoughts. The next week is hard for Chloe. Her body experiences occasional pain, and her hunger was growing by the day.
"So, honey I finally get to meet your amazing new friends in two days. I can't thank them enough for saving your life" said Mrs. Hart.
Chloe smiles at the thought of her new friends " Yes! they will be here; I miss them greatly".
Her mom asks if she should cook anything special for them when they arrived, and Chloe laughed and said to just make sure she made tons of food for them. Dinner is made and Chloe goes to the bathroom to wash her hands. In the bathroom Chloe looks up from the sink as she is washing her hands and gets startled when she sees her eyes have changed.
She begins to think of the "transition" and panic hits her. She already naturally had special eyes because one of them were blue, and the other brown, but this time her eyes were both sky blue almost white. She yelled at the top of her lungs for her mom to come. Chloe's mom came running to the bathroom. " Honey are you okay, what is wrong? Open the door".
"Mom I am going to show you something, but do not freak out okay?' cried Chloe.
Her mother grew nervous but agreed " Sure honey just open up please".
Chloe opens the door nervously and shows her mom her eyes. "Mom, look at my eyes".
Her mom looks at her eyes and smiles" What about them dear, they are as lovely as always".
When Chloe looks back in the mirror her eyes are back to normal. Was she seeing things, or was the transition already taking affect? Her mom grew worried and suggested she call their private doctor to come over. Chloe was pale, and sweating. Chloe begged her mother to not bother and told her mom she was just hungry and tired.
Back at the cabin Luke was doing everything in his power to help Sky. Her body has healed greatly the entire week, but she would not wake up at all. Sky was gorgeous with red hair and had perfect porcelain skin. Her charisma, and positive attitude made her much more attractive. She laid in her bed stiff and peaceful.
At the Highaut's, James arrived at the astronomical castle. As beautiful as the castle was, there was still something dark about the place. They always avoided going there, especially uninvited. James was greeted at the castle doors by guards. He insisted on a meeting with the Highaut. He was asked to wait in a waiting room that was as large as his entire cabin. Vampires walked by and stared at James while he waited for the headmasters to accept his meeting. Once the Highaut's approved his request he was escorted to the main room for his meeting. He explained everything to the Highaut.
The counsel apologized for the misunderstanding. They assured James that Vil and Von were only following orders. They demanded to meet Chloe as soon as possible.
The Highaut leader smiled at James and thanked him for coming out of his way to explain everything. The room suddenly filled with more vampires, and James began to feel uneasy. Some werewolves arrived as well. He then realized the meeting was taken a serious turn. He was appreciative that the leader had taken his demands so seriously. "Very well, bring me Chloe soon. Von, and Vil will be punished for their doing. Also please take two members with you to help get rid of the rest of the ferals roaming around freely. Anyone has anything to say or add? Speak now!" yelled the Highaut's leader. Von and Vil seemed to want to speak up but decided to stay silent.
"Very well meeting is adjourned. James, I wish Sky well. Please take this vial of blood for Sky. The vampire blood will heal and wake her. It is my own blood, and as the oldest vampire it is guaranteed to work" yelled the leader of the Highaut.
James turned to everyone and thanked them for listening " Thank you for seeing me. I will not be needing anyone to help kill off the remaining ferals but thank you for the offer. We will have the ferals controlled by the end of the week".
James arrives back to the cabin. He feeds Sky the blood, and she instantly starts moving around in her sleep.
"Do you think that was the only cure? I hate that we had to give her that blood" said Luke.
"Yes, whatever was added to Vil's nails was just as bad as a vampire bite. She had intentions on killing us all. It is the same as if we bit one of them; they would need one of our potions to survive.
"Very well, call me if she wakes" said Luke.
The very next morning Sky is up and moving. She instantly is looking for Chloe around the house in hysteria. All she remembers is Vil grabbing her and attacking.

ke catches Sky in a panic running around the house and laughs " Good morning sunshine! Take it easy now, have a seat".
"What happened to Chloe!" cried Sky.
"She is safe at home" said Luke.
"Oh good! I was so worried. I have to tell you guys why I was so sick" cried Sky.
"Wait you know why?" said James.
"Well yes obviously a simple puncture wound could not hurt us. Vil licked her fingers before she stabbed me with her nails. She knew exactly what she was doing" yelled Sky.
"Her saliva was killing you" yelled Luke.
Sky nods "Yes, it was almost as deadly as a bite. We have a lot of work to do. Chloe starts transition tomorrow night. There are ferals out there who need to be put down".
"Or we tame them and have them join us. They will no longer be a threat" said Luke.
Sky gets up upset " The way they have been killing, I am sure they are far beyond helping Luke. There is something off about this, they know better than to kill vampires".
The three start to discuss the ferals, and how to get rid of them. James gets up and agrees with Sky " Sky is right, no matter how out of control a wolf is they will never attack vampires on vampire grounds. It is almost as if something, or someone is controlling them".
"You have a point" said Luke.
"Have you thought about what is going to happen to Chloe? Her chances of surviving are very low “said James.
Luke stands up and pats James on the back "That is why I am counting on you to prepare a stronger potion to help her tomorrow".
The pack proceeds with the capturing of the ferals with great luck. The new wolf ferals are fast and strong, but they manage to trace them all. They track down five and are forced to kill two. James decides to try and help them like Luke said.
"These three will return with us to the cabin. We will work some potions on them and hope they can be tamed or even join the pack" said James.
Sky walks ahead of them " I truly believe this is a waste of time".
Luke grabs Sky and looks at her in her eyes " Sky we could be like them you know? If we never had a pack with an alpha before we could have been ferals in the streets as well".
Sky smiles and nods " I guess you are right".
Back at Chloe's parents’ house they prepare for the meeting coming the following day. Chloe grows excited to finally see her friends again.
Chloe's mom yells up the stairs to her " Sweety I need to go to the market and buy some food. You have grown quite an appetite. Are you coming”?
Chloe responds to her mother " Yes mom I will be right down! Also, mom tomorrow my friends are coming with big appetites. We must buy enough food for them and I must have a conversation with you later on tonight. I need you and dad to be as open minded as possible okay".
Chloe's mom smiles and grows curious "Of course love, we will always be supportive and understanding. You are our only child; we love you dear. I was trying to keep it a surprise, but my sister is coming tonight. She will be joining us tomorrow for dinner".
Chloe runs down the stairs excited " Aunt Sarah is coming! How nice, it has been so many years!".
At the market they buy a cart full of food. Money was not really an issue for the family, but Chloe's mother was not sure about all the food they were about to purchase. She asks Chloe multiple times if all that food was necessary for one dinner.
Chloe smiled, and reassured her that they would be needing all the food. Back at the cabin the pack keep busy trying their best to help the ferals. They try strong potions, and training. They starve them and put them on a special diet. They keep them in the dark in the basement to avoid them from seeing the moon at night. They try everything but get nowhere.
"We aren't getting anywhere with these guys, it’s probably best we just put them out of their misery" said Luke.
The ferals were becoming more and more aggressive the hungrier they got. The metal cages they were in served as a great holder. Luke and Sky agree that it was all a waste of time. James interrupts by adding that he feels the potions are working. He asks Luke, and Sky to give him a few more days with the ferals. Sky looks over to the corner where James had piles and piles of potions and messes. She smiled and agreed to give him more time. One thing James was good at was creating potions, and medicine. They walked into the basement and Sky looked at Luke, and James with a worried look before she told them the news. " One of them got away it seems it broke the cage it was in, and I do not know when it happened".
Chapter 4
Aunt Sarah
Luke panicked and stated looking around the room.
"Damn!" yelled Luke.
Sky changed into wolf form and went off to find the missing feral. James yelled at her to return by nighttime with or without the feral. She lets out a loud howl in response and runs off into the woods. Her wolf shape was beautiful, she was white and grey with yellow eyes.
Back at Chloe's mothers house Chloe is cooking dinner for her mother. She cooked baked chicken with vegetables. Her mother has been so great during these past days that she knew she deserved a break. Chloe leaves the chicken warming in the oven while she goes to take a shower. Her mother yelled upstairs to Chloe that the food smelled amazing. Chloe smiled and jumped in the shower. The bathroom was luxurious, she had the option of taking a stand-up shower, or a bath in a bathtub that turned into a jacuzzi. The tiles were all marbled and well designed. She began to reminisce about the terrible weeks she had recently. The cave, the woods, the attacks and the cold. The nights she had with no food, and the days she went without showering.
She got chills from just thinking about the big black feral werewolf that captured and tortured her.
She thinks about the cabin, and the pack. The cabin was not bad at all, but nothing in comparison to her home, or her mother’s home. But no matter where she was at, she felt she belonged with them. She was ready to give it all up just to be with them and start a new life. Learning about the existence of super natural’s and this new world was a lot for her to handle. But she was now a part of it and embraced it with open arms. She has never felt a stronger connection with anyone in her entire life. Chloe enjoys a nice long shower. She mentally prepares herself for what is to come tomorrow. She has so many questions. Tonight, will be the last day as a human. Chloe finishes up and goes to change in her bedroom. She passes by her dresser and catches a glance of herself.
"Oh my God!" yelled Chloe.
Chloe looks at herself in the mirror and for the first time she is calm about her appearance. She touches her face. What she is seeing is unreal. Half of her face is soft and has fur.
The occasional pain she has in her body starts to increase, and she decides to tell her mom the truth finally. No other time than now to tell her and show her. After tomorrow there will be no chance to explain or show. She may not even make it past tomorrow if the transition goes wrong.
Chloe sits down and prepares herself to tell her mom. " Mom! Please come upstairs I want to talk to you".
Chloe's mom answers immediately " What is going on honey? Open up".
Chloe leans on her door before opening it " Mom before I open, I have to tell you something.
Chloe explains everything to her mom. She even lets her know that tomorrow is the big day because she herself may be transforming to a wolf.
Chloe's mom gasp in shock " Dear I don't know what to say. You know I believe in you, but this is a bit absurd. Is this why your friends are coming over tomorrow? because they believe they are wolves as well?"
"Yes mom, I don't need you to believe me, but I need you to be aware is all. I will give you time to process everything I have told you. But I will show you something right now, once I open the door you will understand" cried Chloe.
Chloe is ready to reveal her wolf face to her mother when the bell goes off in the home to alert them someone has arrived. The sound and scare turns Chloe back to normal, and her mother runs downstairs to open the door for the guest. " Happy to see me?" Standing at the door was
Aunt Sarah, she was an elegant looking older woman with white silky beautiful hair to her shoulders. She wore a black long dress with expensive heels. The two sisters greet each other with warm embraces and tears. Chloe gets herself together, and heads downstairs. She greets her aunt and takes the chicken out of the oven. Chloe runs to the refrigerator and announces that dinner will be made in a few minutes. She will make a quick salad and place the food on the table.
Aunt Sarah enters the kitchen and greets her niece " It smells amazing my sweet special niece".
“Hey aunt Sarah I have missed you!” yelled Chloe
A man’s laughter enters the kitchen" Well if it isn't the devil herself! How are you Sarah?
Sarah answers with a smile and a hug " Hello my dear! I am doing just fine. Here on a business trip, I see you are back from yours".
Chloe puts the salad bowl down and runs to her father. She has missed him so much, and he has been away on a business trip. She needed nothing more than her father’s arms wrapped around her to make her feel safe. Little did he know tonight would be the end of the Chloe he knows and loves. Her dad lifts her up in excitement and kisses her forehead with a smile. He comments on the aroma that fills the kitchen from the food she is making.
She smiles, and places four plates on the dining room table for them to eat. She is pleased to know her dad would be joining them for dinner tonight, and that he would be there tomorrow to meet her friends. As Chloe looked around the table while they ate, a tear came down her face. Her aunt notices and tries to cheer her up. Her mom and dad figured she was sad because she missed them all, and because she was in such great danger recently and in bad health.
Sarah stands up "My dear niece, I have brought you a few beautiful dresses from Italy to wear. You are going to love it. I also got you a beautiful necklace you are going to adore! Let’s go upstairs and try them on.
