  “I don’t think those are part of my plans!” Von yelled

  Von smirked and flew up to the witch and grabbed her by the throat. He slammed her against one of the mountains with full force. The mountain crumbled above them as the witch groaned in pain. The witch immediately began to vanish from his hands and appeared at a higher ground. Her magic was very advanced and showed signs of her real age. The group followed her higher towards the village to where it was fully revealed. Round houses sat on top of mountains separately. The water still flowed under the mountains and houses. The full moon seemed bigger on top of all the fog and clouds.

  Torches were their form of light and the sounds of chants filled the air. Chloe yelled for the pack to attack. The pack transformed, the vampires attacked, and the other packs ran into all the other witch houses. The witches fought back with spells and magic. The vampires were able to move fast enough to avoid all hits and attacks.

  The wolves all sneaked up on the witches and bit their heads off. The vampires injected the witches with their saliva and claws. Chloe gained control of the pack and lead them higher up the mountain.

  “I can’t wait to get my hands on you particularly!” yelled the Witch

  “Why me? That is what I am here to find out! Careful what you wish for, here I come!” yelled Chloe.

  Von yells for Chloe to watch out.

  Chapter 13

  The Battle

  A blast of blue light headed towards Chloe from the witch. She moved in time to dodge the hit but was hit right away by another. She fell to the ground lifeless. Luke ran to her immediately and talked to her checking her condition. The pack began to fight off the witches surrounding Chloe making sure to protect her. The vampires were on the lower level getting rid of all the witches in sight. Chloe blinked and seen everything blurry around her.

  “Talk to me! Are you okay?” asked Luke

  “I can’t see very well.” said Chloe

  “You got hit by a magic blast, no one usually survives something like that. You must heal quickly and get up. “said Luke

  “I am already healing; I will be fine. Go help the rest of the pack!” said Chloe

  Luke joined the fighting but kept glancing over at Chloe. She regained control and heals very quickly. Her speed has increased, and her strength has multiplied. The witch started to realize Chloe was healed and well. She stared down to where Chloe was in shock.

  “I don’t understand, what are you? “said the witch

  “I am the Alpha of my pack and I am here to kill you!” yelled Chloe

  “Sweety you will never be strong enough to defeat me. You are a newbie and you are no match for my magic. I just don’t understand how you are so strong in so little time.” said the Witch

  Luke snuck from behind and landed a big blow on the witch.

  “That’s because she has already mated. She is now more powerful than most. You’re going down top witch!” yelled Luke

  “Luke move back! I’ve got this!” yelled Chloe

  Chloe lets out a loud howl and jumped on top of the witch. The witch vanished once more from Chloe’s grip. Frustrated, Chloe ran full speed once again towards the witch. She instantly got cut off by four witches who appeared to protect their head witch. They hit Chloe with magic, but Chloe kept attacking them without stopping. She became unstoppable and determined to end them. Von appeared and helped Chloe fight off the witches.

  Chloe took advantage of his help and aimed towards the head witch once more. She clawed at the witch and finally caught her side and ripped it open. The witch was injured but still strong. Chloe chased her again and broke the witch’s leg.

  She was slowly taking down the head witch with all she had. After several time of fighting the witch finally fell to the ground. She looked defeated and injured. Chloe approached her body and held her up by the throat.

  “Tell me why you want us all dead right now!” yelled Chloe

  The witch laughed “Young one! This is way beyond you. It is more than you could ever understand”

  In an instance the witch took her hand out and shot magic at Chloe. Chloe dodged the blow and dropped the witch. The blow passed her and hit Von instead who is near fighting other witches.

  “Von, no!” yelled Chloe

  Vil yells from the other side while fighting “Focus on your task Chloe, I will grab Von! Do not lose focus!”

  In full rage Chloe looked at the witch and jumped on top of her. She clawed her face and rips it open. She did not hold back while attacking her. The witch screamed and tried crawling away. Chloe grabbed her neck and twisted it. The witch vanished, but this time she turns into ash on the ground and blew away in the wind. Victory is finally theirs after a very long battle. There were still many witches to defeat, but they were relieved the threat was mostly gone. They all yelled in excitement when the witches began to retreat to their homes. Some vanished into thin air and never came back. They all celebrated and started walking away. Chloe carried Von on her shoulder as she joined the rest.

  “Chloe, I know you are worried, but I promise you he will be okay.” said Vil

  “Let’s just get him back to the mansion quickly. No breaks! No stopping! He needs help! Is he even healing?” said Chloe

  “He is healing Chloe, relax.” said Vil

  Von wakes up and asks Chloe to put him down.

  Chloe ignored his request and started walking away with Von on her shoulders still. Suddenly the entire night sky erupted and a bright flash blinded them all. Chloe dropped Von and began to scream in pain. Her head felt as if it was ready to explode.

  “What is wrong with her?” yelled Sky.

  “Chloe get up!” yelled Luke

  “I can’t! Make it stop!” yelled Chloe

  “I have a potion here; I am going to throw it towards you catch it!” yelled James

  High in the sky a bright light shine through once again. A woman appeared surrounded by magic, smoke, and colors in the center of the sky. The woman’s body and hands seemed to control all the clouds and lights beaming out of her. She moved her hands up towards her head and lightening began to form. She yelled down and the voice vibrated everyone.

  “If you think potions will help you then you are in for a rude awakening. Nothing can help her now!” said the voice

  Chloe tried to stand up, but she was unable to. The pack tried to run to her but are all blinded by the light. The light blinded them and disabled them at the same time. They all fell to the ground holding their heads.

  “Chloe please get up!” yelled Sky

  The woman showed her real identity without the smoke, clouds, lights, or lightening.

  “Hello my dear niece!”

  Chloe looked up slowly and managed to catch a glimpse of the woman. The woman looked like her aunt.

  “Aunt Sarah? Is that you?” yelled Chloe

  “My dear, you have a chance to end this right now” said Sarah

  “Chloe attack! Do not hesitate! This is the reason I saved you. This is why I let you live. The future is marked with you ending this war. You are the only way for us all to survive. I understand she is your aunt, but she will kill your entire pack as well. She will kill us all if you do not react!” yelled Von

  Chloe dropped to the floor and cried. She is completely shocked and hurt. She must choose between her family, or her new family. Sarah blasted the sky once more with the magic that blinded everyone. Chloe looked up and seen her aunt through the fog. Chloe began to beg and cry while talking to her aunt.

  “Please stop this! Why are you doing this?” said Chloe

  “My dear! It is unfortunate that you are a wolf now. I noticed the changes in you after your attack in the woods. When you came back you weren’t the same. I sensed your friends were supernatural, but I never knew you were bitten. The day of your transformation I was near. I was the one who sent the feral to attack you and Von. I wanted to stop the transformation. When the feral was not enough, I resorted to lighting the tree you were tied to on fire. I
would rather you’ve died than become one of them!” said Sarah

  “You sent the feral…. does that mean you were the one controlling them as well?” said Chloe

  “Of course, I was!” laughed Sarah

  “We were trying to get the vampires and the wolves to kill each other off so that we wouldn’t have to do anything. Unfortunately, your little pet vampire here grew very fond of you.” said Sarah

  “You will die Sarah!” yelled Von

  “Aunty I love you! Please don’t do this. Let go of everyone, and let’s talk just you and I.” yelled Chloe

  Sarah waved her hand down and all the magic disappeared. The vampires instantly attacked, and the wolves ran to transform again. Sarah was quick and magically strong. For every blow she received, she gave twice the amount back. Chloe attacked her aunt and transformed as well. She reached up at her throat but missed.

  “Chloe my dear! Give up now and I will spare your life. Join me!” yelled Sarah

  “Never!” yelled Chloe

  “You have no reason for doing this. Just because you feel vampires and wolves are a threat. Think of what you are doing aunty!” yelled Chloe

  “Sweety have you met Amy?” asked Sarah

  “Yes, she is the hybrid who has been helping us actually.” said Chloe

  “Well there you go! How do you think she became one? She was a witch and those monsters bit her and she survived the bite and became half vampire and half witch. All she was doing was trying to protect us. I will give your pack a chance to think about it. I am going to kill off these vampires once and for all.” said Sarah

  “No!” yelled Chloe

  Chloe ran and jumped up and finally grabbed Sarah’s throat. She looked at her in the eyes and began to squeeze tight. Sarah let out tears and tried to release the hold Chloe had on her. She lifted her hands and began to form a magic ball in her palm. Luke jumped up and bit her hand. Sarah then redirected the ball and hit Luke instead. She tried to hit him with another ball of magic but was growing weak from the hold Chloe had on her neck. She was slowly running out of breath and choking. She shot another and it hit Mandy. Luke and Mandy were down. Von flew up and grabbed her head. He wanted to rip her head off, but her magic was still holding on as a barrier. Tears began to fall down Sarah’s eyes. She stared at Chloe in the eyes and smiled.

  “Aunty, I am so sorry. You leave me no choice. I can guarantee you that no wolf nor vampire will be any harm to anyone unless in self-defense.

  You are wrong about them, please give us a chance to prove it. Come back with us to the Highaut. He can explain everything to you. Or Von can help you see the future. Do not make me do this.

  Chloe cried harder and gripped tighter on her aunts’ neck. She must end this before it is too late for all of them. She decided to finally end it and pierced her claws in her neck to kill her. When suddenly a witch attacked.

  “Chloe watch out!” yelled Sky

  The witch sent a wave of smoke towards Chloe’s face. Sky jumped in the way of the attack and takes the hit instead. The smoke instantly puts her to sleep.

  Sky falls to the ground in a deep sleep. Von let’s go of her head and flies towards the other witch who attacked Sky. With full rage he kills her within seconds.

  “Chloe end it now!” yelled Von

  Chloe lets go of all her rage and anger. Her sadness and hurt started to become anger. Her aunt has betrayed her and tried to kill her numerous times. She dug her claws into her neck. Blood started pouring from her aunt’s neck. The witches that were fighting below with the rest began to let out loud cries. They can sense that their head witch was dying. The vampires killed off most witches with the wolves. Sarah’s magic started to finally diminish. The glow around her started to fade and her barrier started come down. She was slowly dying, and Chloe was determined to end her.

  “Please forgive me. It was my duty, like this is your duty” whispered Sarah

  Chloe releases her aunts’ neck and she dropped. The body began to turn into ash with colorful winds circling around it. Everyone stopped fighting and looked at the ash. The vampires started to scream in victory and the wolves all chimed in howling. Chloe ran to her pack to care for Luke and Mandy who are down. Luke woke up almost instantly and Mandy does as well. Sky woke up coughing from her deep sleep induced by magic. With the death of the head witch all the magic disappeared, and everyone affected by it began to heal. Chloe ran to the highest point of a mountain and spoke in a powerful loud tone.

  “I want to tell any witch that is alive. Please do not believe what you have been told. We are not a danger to you or any human. Please let us live our lives in peace, and we will do the same.” yelled Chloe

  The witches all held hands and disappeared. The battle was finally over, and Chloe was exhausted. She dropped to the floor and started to break down.

  “I just killed my very own aunt! This is so overwhelming. My family will never know what really happened here or that she is gone. I need time to myself, please go on without me everyone. I will meet you all back home.” yelled Chloe

  “I will never leave your side love. Please understand you are an Alpha and must protect your pack at all cost. Your aunt was a supernatural as well. Remember she was the reason for all your attacks.

  You almost died during transition when Von was trying to heal you and it was because of her as well. The feral attacks, the witches attacking your home every day and all the damage has been because of her. She did not care about your life.” yelled Luke

  The vampires begin to run off one by one. Von stayed back to watch over Chloe. The wolves all left howling. Chloe’s pack gathered and held Chloe. Their healing started to speed up and they all began to feel better. Chloe smiled and started to walk.

  “Let’s go pack! I love you all. I have such a strong and perfect pack by my side. I am so happy you are on my side. Von thank you so much for everything. Is everyone okay on your side? said Chloe

  “We lost a few just like the wolves lost a few, but it was all for a greater cause. It will be all fine. I always knew you would be the one to end this war. I caught a glimpse of this moment when I first touched you back then. But I never had any idea how strong you would have become, or that it was your aunt. I am so sorry, and I love you.” said Von

  “Thank you Von and thank you for believing in me. I love you too, goodbye” said Chloe

  “Mandy are you okay over there?” asked Troy

  “Yes, I feel brand new.” laughed Mandy

  “I have never killed so much; this is so unfortunate. The witches were very wrong for this. said James

  “I enjoyed every second of this. I am going to sleep for days when we get home” said Troy

  The pack transformed and resumed their journey home. The vampires decided to fly back home because they were tired, and it was easier and faster for them to fly. The pack ran back as fast as they could. It took nearly an entire day for the pack to get back home, and the vampires made it in half the time. Morning time arrived and the pack made it home safely. Exhausted and hungry they cooked some food, eat, and rest. Life went on normally for the most part. The pack continued to train and love one another deeply. They returned to their daily lives with work and responsibilities. The vampires visited occasionally. Chloe’s family accepted the pack as family. Chloe’s business “Chloe’s Sprinkle” blossomed. Her clientele increased greatly in size. She used the money to create a savings account for her children’s future. Her pregnancy was a beautiful one. She was loved and spoiled by the pack daily. The vampires and other packs sent in gifts weekly. Her parents grew anxious to meet their grandchild. Months went by and Chloe was ready to have the baby. They have a daughter and named her Lucia. Luke was a wonderful father and protector. The pack understood the importance of growing the family and keeping their pack strong. The children became all their children and the future of the pack. Motherhood was the most amazing thing that Chloe has ever experienced. Sky, and Mandy became aunts, and James and Troy became uncles. Some vampir
es were part of the experience as well and became close to the pack. Visiting often and helping with the protection and safety of the baby. Chloe’s parents visited almost daily excited with their grand baby.

  A month later Luke and Chloe decided to take their relationship to a different level. Although, the mating process and commitment was already initiated through the bite they decided to get married. Luke decided to marry Chloe and give her a real ceremony. They have a beautiful wedding in the woods behind their house and welcomed everyone. Less than two years later the pack welcomed another baby. They named him Clark. James grow the most attached to Clark, and Sky grows inseparable from Lucia. Troy became the fun uncle who was always willing to play no matter the time of day. Mandy was the play doll for Lucia to play with. Combing her long hair and pretending to know what she was doing. Five years passed and the pack started to train the children. Lucia was six years old and was born with Chloe’s eyes. Each a different color, and her speed was impressive for a six-year-old.

  Clark was four and had incredible strength for his age. Luke remembered being a strong child and knew for sure both children were going to be wolves on their eighteenth birthday.

  “Hello my dear friends! I brought a visitor” said Von

  Standing at the door was Von with his daughter. She was porcelain with blonde hair and green eyes. Dressed in a black fluffy gown with a pink flower in her hair. Her smile was sweet with rosy cheeks. Chloe ran to her and hugged her while everyone greeted Von.

  “Hello beautiful! Oh, my goodness Von! She gets prettier by the month! Thank you so much for visiting us so often. Lucia and Clark really grew close to her.

  Priscilla you can go right to the backyard! The kids are back there training dear.” said Chloe.

  “Thank you, Chloe, I already seen a glimpse of our future ahead. All three will have a wonderful future and will play a big part as you did.” said Von

  Von catched up with Chloe and the pack, the kids enjoyed playing and running around a while. Life was good and they had no worries for the time being. The laughter of their children filled the air while they sat outside on their porch enjoying the weather. Chloe loved every moment of her life and she would never change anything in it.
