  "I can tell you what mom told me. But I'm not a dungeon diver. My build only has the amplify magic skill," Melanie told me.

  "OK tell me about mana regen?" I pleaded.

  "Sure. OK, so your mana regeneration stat, looks like its +11 per hour. Sounds like crap but for a low level this is pretty good actually, considering Earth is a very low magic world."

  "OK...so tell me more," I let her continue guiding me.

  "OK. Now when you sleep it doesn't automatically refill your whole tank. But it will refill +100 minimum no matter what your mana regeneration tank is. So if you went to sleep with only 1 point left in your mana tank, then when you woke up 8 hours later it would be +100 and then also whatever your mana regeneration times by the hours slept with it. But it can also be different from person to person how much people gain when they sleep. Some gain more than others. However what's important is that the game version where you sleep and everything is automatically restored isn't actually realistic. Its kind of a weird system and hard to figure out. But its worse for people not related to our clan," Mel told me.

  "How'd you know I'd ask about how the stat replenishing when sleeping works?" I wondered.

  "Because that confused the hell out my sister and mom growing up, so we asked about it a lot and had discussions about it. And you just found out about this. I knew you'd ask a lot of the same things we did," Mel smirked.

  Mel is so cool. For her to be beautiful like that and still a decent person is amazing also. I feel so much appreciation for her right now.

  "And what were you doing before you met me?" I wondered.

  She blushed and looked away. "I-I've made a few mistakes. Can we just put it at that? I'd like to start over if that's OK. And its for real. I mean it when I say I want you."

  "Sure. OK, wow."

  I smiled. I couldn't help it.

  I get to have a magitek cool job, and have a bad ass hot girl like Melanie?

  The mind control abilities are probably better than the enchanter abilities in my system actually. But its likely that I won't be able to go out of those areas into other magitek, just because it will really take up all my time just focusing on that really.

  This is cool.

  I looked back up at the screen.

  Then I pulled out my equipment, and parts to figure out my skills with the setup, and started toying with it.

  "By the way as an amplifier, my skill is ideal as a match for you. I don't just boost magic but also can boost skills like your enchant abilities," Melanie said smiling big.

  "Nice."

  "I'm going to read while you work, OK hon? Ask me if you need help OK?" Mel came over and kissed my forehead affectionately.

  Wow.

  The seduce and charm combo skills rock!

  There's a juggling or 'interest like' effect if you do seduce and charm together for some hidden effects also, I discovered!

  I pulled out my junk drawer.

  I have some salvaged knives. I also have some broken equipment that my brothers had left in the garage. These I can use to practice my enchant skills, and other skills also.

  "Are you trying to do mana repair?" Melanie asked me looking over at what I was doing. She's purposely also making her tank top stretch out in the front to expose as much cleavage as possible while sitting on the bed next to the other girl. I can almost see a nip.

  "Mana repair? What's that?" I asked.

  "Enchanters have a skill where if you have a magic item that's broken you can try to repair it. But I don't know what level you need to make it worth the effort. And its going to cost you some mana," she warned.

  The other captive girl refuses to talk while next to us, but is just listening quietly. She's still on her side.

  Sometimes I try to offer her food and water, but she keeps refusing.

  After a bit, I began to try to do a magic repair.

  The first fizzled, and also used up 50 mana.

  Screw that. I'm not ready for it. I will have to shelf that until later.

  I pulled out some of the blades and inspected them carefully.

  Then I highlighted them using the mana skill, and clicked the enchant skill.

  The first one failed. that left me really frustrated.

  But I kept working. Sometimes I'd alternate enchants with meditation.

  I got my enchant skill to work on my flashlight. But surprisingly when it did, there was a blue screen pop up next to me.

  And below that it said. [System notice; some skills may have their effects change and upgrade over time. The same skill one level later may show other effects!]

  OK...so what will it do...

  I touched the screen and then the scroll down menu appears in the blue screen.

  The choices are;

  1) uses light spell effect instead of machine effect. (Higher intensity, can damage creatures allergic to light. Higher intensity beam than other products.)

  2) Machine light but doesn't need to renew batteries. Batteries recharged by being hold on person of someone with mana tank. Only needs to be in bag or on belt, but not held, two hours for recharge.)

  3) Option not yet unlocked!

  4) Option not yet unlocked!

  5) Blind enchant; converts flashlight to magic item entirely. But needs multiple charges to take effect. This effect needs; 3 charges per upgrade, giving a once per day blind use.

  Whoa.

  This is kind of cool.

  So there's also a lot of hidden uses it seems. And I'll have to figure out how to use this stuff.

  What else will unlock if I do more charges after the blind enchant is unlocked? And can I end up with multiple blind uses per day? What would the max be?

  But there's also tons of research to do also.

  Like, what is the chance for the item to break on enchant failures? And is there a minimum number of times that failure and breakage happen at? Or is that based on my level also or skill?

  I stopped to take a break after my mana pool was down to 42/252. Mentally I feel rattled and exhausted also with my mana bar that low.

  "Um, Jay, I think she has to go to the bathroom," Melanie told me.

  "She does?" I looked up.

  The girl on the bed looked like she was holding it, but her forehead was getting sweaty.

  "Sorry, I should have noticed," I said.

  "I'll take her," Mel said.

  "What if she...?"

  "I'll handle it. I won't let anything bad happen. Trust me," Mel said.

  I was relieved it went OK.

  But other questions are coming up now also.

  Mom came in right then to tell us to not let her be in the bathroom alone, until dad put the silver enchanted binding chain on her. Then she left.

  I think my parents are spying on me.

  Its a good thing I didn't try anything stupid.

  And they would punish me, especially if it meant I would be in their power. But they can't just do that without justification.

  This is why my life has been so hard until now.

  ...

  Before the day is up, dad installed what looks like some kind of stripper pole in my room with this enchanted chain hooked up to it. Then he hooked the other end up to some kind of odd magic enchant that looked like the chain ended hanging in the air without having a physical manifestation to where it was connecting to that other girl.

  Weird.

  It looks like its hanging in the air. The girl and Melanie also can't touch where the chain hooks up to the girl. But I can. Its a kind of tether, so that I can give her more room to move and let her loose.

  Then before he left, dad had cut loose the other previous bindings, blindfold, ropes, and chains on the girl. "Welcome to the family," he said happily to her.

  Creepy...

  I was sort of surprised at what to make out of this. She was too I think.

  "OK, Jay. The ench
ant will keep her from running away. It will also let you keep her quiet, using a 'silence' effect if she talks without permission or starts getting mad," dad said.

  Then he patted my shoulder like a good dad, as if he wasn't evil and left the room. Its kind of odd since he looked like some kind of salary man for his work face and clothes.

  My family is so weird, I swear.

  The other girl is glaring at me like daggers.

  "I didn't know they were going to do this to you. I'm sorry," I told her.

  "..."

  "What's your name?" I asked.

  She won't answer. Still mad.

  But she's rubbing her wrists a lot now, happy to have them free.

  My stupid parents...what have you done?!

  She's going to hate us forever, I fear. Unless I can make a break through.

  "I'm really sorry this happened to you. I didn't ask them for this. But they won't let it go. We'll have to try to make it work. I'll try to be good to you," I told her.

  She still scowled at me.

  Talking to her now is going to be useless.

  I went back to working on enchants.

  ...

  I have 2 throwing knives at +2 (enhancement each) now.

  1 long crowbar +2

  Before bed also I got my hoodie up to +1 defense also.

  This means I should be able to do much better in my attack and defense stats in the dungeon, and elsewhere. Self defense should become easier now also.

  Tomorrow I'll start going through all my gear trying to see what the limits are on what I can do.

  And hopefully my parents won't do something shady or stupid tomorrow. Or my brothers.

  It will take time to decide what to do with the new girl. I can't be too pushy and want to feel it out and give her time.

  Chapter 9

  Its Saturday (no school today)

  5:31 AM

  I began stirring in my sleep. The clean fresh bed sheets smell good.

  And this warm feeling; Melanie snuggling up against me naked, while we sleep is wonderful. But not long after that I felt her moving slightly, while I'm still too tired to get up.

  "Go...back to...sleep," I mumbled.

  Then I realized Melanie was trying to get on top of me to initiate sex.

  "Wait, did you get on the pill? Is it safe?" I asked.

  "Yes! Don't worry. I know both of us wouldn't to rush having kids right away. But we will when you are ready. You can...uhm....take me...uh...yeah like that. Oh that feels good. Whenever you...want," she added while already she'd pushed herself on top and onto me, inserting my tool inside.

  The other girl...she's asleep in a recliner in the corner still while Melanie hopped on top of me and is now bouncing up and down on top of my rod in the throes of passion. Also she's kind of loud and likes to groan, and really do heavy pushing down from above, which makes her tits shake a lot.

  Oh gosh...

  This feels so good.

  The heat also is comforting with the warmth of her holding me. Then she pushed herself up to put pressure from her pelvis into mine, push me further inside her as she groaned.

  There sure a lot of temptations in being in an 'Overlord' AKA Demon lord clan.

  "Oh, that feels...so hot. I love you Jay! I love you," she gasped.

  Something about Melanie's breasts also captivates me as they bounce up and down heavily. She has this feel like, having large size breasts that look so heavy and full even when they aren't the biggest I've seen. And her skin tone adds to their effect, plus having really dark nipples that are thick.

  She looks rather wild and more enthusiastic about this than I thought she would.

  We stopped at around 6:30 AM to go back to sleep.

  But before dozing off I checked my mana bar.

  Its at full.

  I hurriedly tried to enhance my jeans for more defensive power.

  Success! Yes!

  I also enhanced my belt, which is now +2 defense also.

  Then I added an enchant to my long crowbar. Fortunately it didn't fail this time!

  (So far it seems like its only successful about 20% of the time? But already I can feel its increased the success rate a bit with Melanie's amplifier effect on me. I can't clearly state how much she's raising it above 20% however.)

  When i got the crowbar enchants effect to work, I looked at it again. Also the blue screen is up again.

  This is getting a bit scary now. If I make bad choices then I'll fail. I have to make sure I pick what will give me the best chance for survival.

  I'm trying to build stuff to become a monster hunter and level up.

  But I don't want to harm humans also. I know that there's a life after this one. And I don't want to jeopardize going back to heaven by whatever crap my family is doing.

  So how do I build weapons for monsters without having them be used for human hunting (sins) instead?

  I sighed.

  Mana bar is now at 51/252.

  I don't have enough charges to finish the enchant on the crowbar yet, if I want something more advanced like the option 7, knock back effect. (This would be really important especially for really large targets that have the potential to overwhelm me with size and weight, like bosses.) This is what I'm going after, and will attempt to finish.

  I'll rest again. And then I'll try again later today.

  ...

  Burning up tons of mana, seems to also make me more tired and put tons of fatigue into me.

  When I woke up it was because someone was knocking on the door to my room, tapping the wood fast.

  I sat up.

  But Melanie wouldn't let me go, and held on tighter instead while shivering.

  "Wait don't come in!" Melanie cried out, also sitting up. "I'm not dressed Jay. Have them wait!" she added while reaching for her tank top.

  "Sure."

  "Just a sec," I called out, to whoever was on the other side of the door.

  Melanie gave me a thumbs up to open the door after getting her tank top back on to cover up the goods.

  When I opened the door its my older brother Diego.

  "Hey, so the rumors are true?" he asked, chuckling at Melanie and then also seeing the stripper pole with the other girl asleep in the recliner.

  "What's up?" I asked.

  "I just wanted to encourage you. I think you have a lot of talent. Please think about joining the clan. Also Sue is pretty mad at you guys. Dad talked to her last night and this morning. Its best if neither of you go over there for a bit. She didn't like that it looks like the two of you are heading to our faction instead. If Melanie needs anything just have dad have some laborers bring it over, or have him buy it," Diego said, sounding quite nervous.

  I don't really like the look on Diego's face much. He kind of has this habit of his face looking sort of like he's got some mischief going on, though you can't prove it because he hides it well.

  And there's no way I'm going to tell him that I won't join any of the clan, and am instead trying to level up and buy time so I can go into hiding and break off on my own.

  Plus, he keeps glancing at Melanie.

  "What's this about FBI surveillance?" I asked.

  "Oh that?" he laughed in a strange way. "Look, I'm sorry about that. Yes, they've been trying to nail us for who knows how long. But even if they tried to get some where with it, dad could seriously magic nuke whole cars of them at a time. Its a lost cause for them to try it."

  Jeez...this is worse than I thought.

  "So
there's something I've been wanting to tell you about. OK, first, I'd like you to try and get a few people you can trust together to join a dungeon team. I have my own. Our other brother is also in that team. This is how you go level up and increase your power. But I have to warn you its hard. And its deadly. This is why you can only let people in your team that you trust," Diego started.
