  Things started to explode in trouble also with the other bandits.

  The bandit prince himself is using some kind of magic bow to try to punch lightning bolts through Shelly's shield skill.

  He had a skill like this?! That's bad... lightning is very bad, and very damaging. I almost panicked, especially when he's looking this way.

  This guy...he's some kind of mage bow class, I realized.

  The others have normal arrows it seems and can't really hit us that hard. But with enough of them, they could whittle down targets easily.

  But then I see an opening!

  The two women on the bandit side were in the back trying to shoot at us with crossbows.

  I activated the charm skill on the one in tight black leather. She stops. She was about to shoot us. But then she froze.

  Now she's giving me a look of great sadness and I see the 'in love' look. Wow, this skill is powerful on the opposite sex.

  "What the hell are you doing?!" the bandit prince right away had some kind of alertness skill and he must have perceived that somehow I'd done something to her.

  "Boss he did something to her?" one of them yelled.

  "Kill them," the bandit prince shouted.

  "I...wh-what am I doing?! I-I-I'm on the wrong side!" the woman I charmed whimpered and looking confused about why she's up there, looking at me in hurry.

  "What the fuck?!" the bandit prince's right hand guy also sees it.

  Miguel hits the guy on the far right especially hard, and he fell. (The one to the right of the one I blinded.)

  But the guy I'd used my blind skill on next to him, knowing the other guy was hit and being in blinded status panicked. And fell off the roof, screaming all the way down until he hit the ground really hard.

  Clang!!!

  Damn, that had to hurt! He fell two stories and landed on some metal handrails, making the damage even worse. Plus, the ground is concrete.

  I hit a seduce skill on that enemy black leather clad sexy brunette on the bandit side also. This further emphasized the mind control effect. Now it should last longer, plus, I'm hoping to get her to help defend us also.

  This sexy brunette...

  Well she is trying to kill us. The mind control technique is justified. Plus, I could help her reform and repent of the evil she's involved with.

  "The shield won't hold. Its going to collapse," Shelly warned, as its beginning to take up tons of damage. By now its literally absorbed hundreds of damage points, according to the status screen system.

  I've also been able to see out of the corner of my eye my status screen tracking all of this, as the damage numbers scroll down the screen with heavy pace while our enemies are trying to kill us.

  I can see huge cracks appearing in the 'mana wall' skill or whatever it is that Shelly had cast. The enemy arrows are puncturing deep into it and even embedded into it. The lightning bolts of the bandit prince look like if I don't move fast they'll go into it.

  "Stop hurting them! What are you doing?!" the sexy brunette woman that I'd charmed screamed at her team mates.

  "What the fuck did they do to her?!" one of the bandits yelled to the others. They are really confused.

  Then the unexpected happened.

  The sexy brunette woman I'd charmed used a [charge] skill and knocked the bandit prince's remaining left hand guy off the roof, with a knee kick like skill pushing him off the roof!

  She has combat skills. Good.

  He screams as he fell, while very in shock. That was a bad fall. He didn't get up right away, and he's stunned. But I think he's still alive.

  Wow.

  I'm also shocked. It worked so well not only did she not attack us. But the sexy brunette is now helping us fight back!

  Does this mean, I could always do this move?! I almost froze thinking about it.

  "Oh my gosh. What the hell did you do?" Miguel exclaimed.

  Normally, that kind of attack wouldn't have worked. But these guys weren't expecting one of their own to do something like this. Plus, also they'd been right up at the edge of the roof, thinking they'd use optimum attack situation to take us out fast like their other victims!

  Plus, what surprised me was how polished the technique of this girl looked, helping us out. Her pushing the attacking bandit armored guy off the roof, didn't look clumsy. She looked agile and a bit strong even.

  And right after she's agilely ready to dodge attacks against herself by her... former team.

  But the other bandits aren't sure now if they should keep attacking us or her now. What we did really confused them for good reason.

  "What the freak?!" Shelly asked.

  Miguel and her, and possibly Mandy don't know about my mind control system. But I'm sure Simone and Melanie get it, at least some of it.

  "Jay did that. Don't hurt her. He's...recruited her. Th-that's all I can say for now. She'll be on our side now. And we need her," Simone told them.

  "W-w-what? This is some strange, fu..." Miguel exclaimed. His voice trailed off as he's still trying to support the others in combat and can't take time for us.

  "Its true," Simone said.

  "Concentrate your fire on the left most guy that's not fallen," I ordered.

  But just right after I'd charmed the remaining woman in the back, Shelly's shield skill fell.

  Shit!

  I ended up having to dump all my power into just spamming the damage shield skill of the enchanted umbrella. And repositioning myself to protect her.

  "You have good toys. But even if you took out my men I can still kill all of you," the bandit prince cried out, challenging us.

  The bandit prince's heavy range attack almost knocked me over. In fact, I would have been knocked over if Simone and Melanie didn't help support my back and arms.

  Miguel and Shelly and Mandy are doing their worst on the other enemy team members.

  Mandy?

  Ah...

  I had to block more attacks by this bandit prince guy.

  To my left I see that Mandy, who I'd not been able to watch most of the time with everything happening so fast had cut down the left most bandit.

  "Help us! Don't leave us! Boss! Help!" the two bandit prince's guys that fell off the roof are crying out to their boss for help.

  Miguel shot the blinded guy in the eye socket.

  Wow he's a good shot. But he probably also got some bonuses from us setting up the shot, because the blind guy couldn't move well and was a sitting duck after falling.

  That guy's dead now.

  Mandy charged the same one and is executing some high speed combo attacks while the blind effect still lasts.

  Shit!

  The bandit prince, rather than let his own team members get recruited, shot the second woman himself with his own weapons before I could even warn her. The full blast of that lightning skill bow attack hit her full force and fried her literally!

  She screamed and is killed in one shot!

  Wow...

  "My gosh!" Miguel exclaimed.

  The sexy brunette that I'd recruited finished off the other guy that had fallen earlier, hitting him with a sniper shot.

  Wow, she's good. That's amazing power and agility!

  I kept spamming the damage absorption skill on my enchanted umbrella while blocking the bandit prince with some difficulty and a lot of back strain.

  But then the bandit prince suddenly ran when he saw we'd killed his allies.

  "Fuck. If he gets away he'll just hunt us when our back is turned," Miguel said.

  "Still... wow. We're lucky even be alive," Mandy said.

  Its somehow over.

  The sexy brunette woman is walking towards us, waving at me specifically and smiling. Then she sort of did a salute to me.

  I had to warn the others not to shoot her or act threatening.

  "What the hell?!" Miguel is shocked. "We're...just going to let her hang out with us after that?! She...was on their team!"

  "Technically she switched sides," I told th
em.

  "That's..." Miguel doesn't even know what to say. He is slowly lowering his weapon.

  "She's on our side now," Simone said shrugging.

  "But they tried to kill us!" Shelly argued.

  Her and Miguel glanced at each other.

  "We have to. We need allies. She used a sniper skill on that guy also. She's good," Mandy said.

  "Hey there, lover," the hot brunette in skin tight black leather and knee boots came up and put her arms around me. Her clothes are a bit provocative actually. Maybe that's part of why the enemy's reaction was so weird.

  Melanie and Simone are trying to calm down and explain it to the others.

  Miguel, and Shelly are freaking out the most.

  Mandy is giving me a confused but also calculating silent look.

  "Well, are you going to explain this? What skill did you use on her?" Mandy asked.

  "And how do I get the skill?" Miguel said. "She's easy on the eyes at least. But she's probably a bad girl."

  "I'll tell you later," I said, avoiding her eyes.

  "You better," Mandy said, but resumed fighting.

  "No, you'll tell me now," Shelly argued.

  "Guys, um...they have captives in the back. We should rescue them," the hot new brunette team member told us.

  The others are shocked at both what she told us, and that she's telling it to us. Those on the enemy side still alive also are shocked.

  Hearing that made me less squeamish about finishing off the bandits. They are surely very evil.

  We'd gotten lucky that the bandit prince guy was so confident that they didn't think of a what if situation.

  We had to stop and bind up our wounds though.

  Mandy lost about 10% health from up close combat. She'd been lucky these guys were all ranged though. So when she'd engaged them up close, yes they had fought back hard, but they'd not really been prepared for a close up fight.

  I don't feel good...

  Then I see that I've got blood running down the side of my face and body from a small part of the damage of that lightning bow user hitting me. The damage shield had taken the burns out of it. But there was still a lot of damage that had hit me hard, or maybe through some kind of bleed through effect he'd used.

  My health bar is down to about 59%. I'm not in good shape, wounded, and bleeding.

  I need to rest.

  And that's why Shelly is using the heal skill on me. She did this a few times and managed to bring my health bar up to 72%, which is loads better. At least I don't feel like I'm dying now. But there's still a lot of pain.

  But that's all she can do for now. So she says. I don't know if she's telling us the truth or not, but I guess she kind of does look a bit winded.

  "We need to get Jay indoors, so the zombies don't smell him," Shelly warned.

  "And wash off the blood," Simone added.

  "Guys, this is their base. They should have stuff here we can loot. We don't want to miss this chance," Mandy adds.

  "Damn. This is going to mess up our schedule for awhile," Miguel said worriedly.

  The others looted everything we can.

  The sexy brunette is also using her own shoulder to help carry and help me, being extra helpful.

  Wow, she's hot. She doesn't have much of a bust, but her face is exquisite. Plus, those skin tight black leather clothes on her emphasize her features well.

  "Let's take him inside. We have supplies inside. We can use them to patch him up. Also, its technically ours now," she smiled.

  The others didn't trust her at first, but she gave me her bow to prove trust.

  Shit...

  I did it again! My mind control skill captured another minion! First Melanie, and then Simone. And now this new sexy bad girl.

  Plus, this girl is totally bad ass, even if she's some kind of bad girl type!

  I'm guessing she's low twenties in age. She has really nice light colored eyes also that look sort of gray, almost but not quite blue with a captivating face.

  And she doesn't let up helping me, which makes Simone and Melanie jealous.

  "Guys! I leveled up!" Simone said.

  "That's because two of the guys we killed were higher levels, like in the 20s ranges. It would have been a huge XP dump," Mandy said.

  We pushed inside looking at their base.

  The bandit hideout, which was very dark inside with anything resembling windows covered to make the building almost feel like a cave inside.

  Weird...

  I wasn't prepared for what I'd see there.

  The entire place resembled a place of darkness filled with weapons of all kinds.

  "These guys have been operating here for awhile," Mandy said, as she looked around.

  "All of these look taken from other adventurers and fallen teams," Miguel noted.

  The first room looks like a guard post area and look out station with their weapons all around. Then there are other rooms also branching off, a kitchen area.

  This place had been an upper level office once.

  They even had a tanning and leather processing room, where they'd been processing monster meats and parts.

  But I wasn't prepared for what would happen next...

  I'd sat down with this hot brunette girl glued to my side.

  The new hot girl literally can't keep her hands off me. She acts sort of drugged in a way...a very fun way. Only instead of loopy and sleepy, she's...worshipful and almost hyper in looking at me. She ends up straddling my lap, but the others pulled her off to remind her they needed to treat my wounds.

  "Wait, we need to keep a look out," I said.

  The others held her back while she pouted.

  I quickly assigned Mandy and Miguel to guard the front. Because that one guy got away I'm worried.

  In a zombie map he'd have to be careful against us. But...there's the chance he might come back still if he can.

  Shelly is going through the equipment locker inspecting it and finding stuff for us to be able to use.

  I had Simone and Melanie go through looking for which room belonged to the bandit prince himself.

  It must have been a few minutes of me feeling dazed and getting treated when Simone and Melanie came back.

  "Um, Jay. We have a problem. Come with us hurry," Simone gestured.

  The tone of her voice suggested trouble.

  I began to follow her more quickly.

  Her pace increased. "Hurry. We have to have you deal with this before the others see it."

  We entered the bandit prince's bedroom.

  "There," Melanie nodded at the wall.

  A captured naked woman is chained to the wall there.

  And it looks like she's been traumatized. She'd been crying a lot and was terrified when she saw us until she realized we're not her captures. She's also gagged, and had been beaten a lot also.

  What was he doing?

  She's bruised everywhere and very weak.

  "Oh man, I wish you hadn't seen that," Linz said suddenly. (The new bad girl.)

  The other two glared at her.

  "What? I didn't do it. It was the boss," she argued.

  "But can't you help her?" Simone asked me tugging my sleeve.

  "But this isn't like helping you or Linz. She's traumatized," I said.

  "So...you helped me. You can help her. Maker her feel better like you did with me," Simone said.

  Wait...can I do that?

  Maybe I really can?

  It wouldn't heal her body, but it could help her mind.

  The girl is unresponsive to us verbally. And in a traumatized state.

  My mind control is actually mind manipulation element. So technically it could have access to skills to go into someone's mind.

  Could that help her maybe?

  And if it could that might be one of the very few 'righteous uses' of mind control.
